GUIDANCE              Leaving some things behind as you go about your life is natural: Something ahead is worth leaving what you are really comfortable with behind. Today we look at deciding on a better course that amounts to a graceful turning point, and making a beneficial change. Life is looking good because you have your hands on the wheel, making decisions about directions and your future ahead of time, and still being fond of the good part of life you have already been through. We focus on the decision to go where you are content – on deciding to be as happy as you can.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Chariot – Six of Cups – Six of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

………………………      Chariot is getting ahead and Six of Swords is leaving it behind for a better future ahead. Six of Cups is a good comfortable sweet life and represents the good part of the past. You can see that, roughly, Chariot + Six of Cups = Six of Swords here, yes? Both Chariot and Six of Swords are about heading in a direction that is better. Both Six of Cups and Six of Swords involve ‘home,’ with Six of Swords emphasizing leaving it. Both Six of Cups and Six of Swords involve the past, with – once again – Six of Swords putting it behind. So we are obviously talking about a progression of life events today, and a progression toward where you want to be ahead.

………………………..Chariot is a decision-maker, a strategist, and a skilled person. This is you having both the nerve and the brains to accomplish a purpose and arrive at a chose destination. This is you as the hero of your story, the champion of your choices. Chariot is the project manager, the commanding officer, the person who takes control and responsibility for his direction. This is you with both hands on the wheel of your days. Here’s how Chariot means all this: Note he is controlling his steeds with magic wands instead of reins. Wands represent willpower in magic. (As a matter of fact, magic’s definition of magic is willpower, I read somewhere authoritative.) Note that his steeds are not ponies but sphinxes.

Now you need to know about sphinxes since they are kind of antique beings these days. Sphinxes each go in one turning direction and no other. So sphinxes travel in a circle, but have some kind of magic power. Our hero (you) have hitched the aforesaid sphinxes opposing one another’s direction so that by default as they move forward they go in a straight line, giving our hero the ability to control them with his will. Today we emphasize Chariot’s journey to better terrain, and admit that home wasn’t so bad either – that he is leaving a place that sure had its good points for one that has better points.

……………………….. Six of Cups is the past as we remember it. And we always dress up the past, mercifully disregarding its discomforts and magnifying its glories to ‘the good old days.’ Six of Cups is also sweet romance, gift or love gift, children, home, house (usually comfortable, cozy – maybe a quaint house or a cottage), a safe neighborhood. Six of Cups can be a real estate card as ‘house.’

……………………….. Six of Swords is headed in a better direction, same as Chariot, but Six of Swords is leaving in some kind of defeat, to ‘live again another day.’ There’s quite a spectrum to this Rider Waite Tarot card, and even two different moods that blend. Your application can use just the ‘getting out of here’ aspect of Six of Swords, and use just the dejected mood of those two refugees with no belongings being paddled away in an open boat at dusk or dawn by a friend. Your application can use just the ‘going to a better situation’ aspect of Six of Swords, and therefore use the hopeful and optimistic mood of, say, moving out of a poor town because you landed a good job in a better town. Or your application can use both aspects, and be about the journey, the progression itself, as ‘things improve as we go along.’

We take control of our daily life, and we decide upon its directions consciously, like a project manager who has an assignment with a deadline, so we arrive where we want to go, or close to it, and that’s a win. We don’t castigate or disparage the past … hey, we are feeling warm and fuzzy about its delicious aspects … as we head on out with a ‘I had you fondly, ghosts of currencies past’ in our hearts.

Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Chariot……….. Chariot’s illustration needs some explaining since time has passed and we no longer are familiar with charioteers as war strategists and heroes, and with sphinxes as magic creatures who each go in only one direction, a turn either to the right or the left. We also disregard magic wands as something fairy godmothers operate. Okay. Charioteers. What charioteers did in battles often determined which side won wars. They were the strategists, and it’s a fascinating read. Now, sphinxes. They are physical creatures with real magic powers who each go in only one direction: a turn to the right or to the left. That is why, in the illustration, the colors are reversed. Our charioteer hero has hitched them so they are in each other’s way, and must go ahead jointly, to get him ahead. He controls the magic creatures with a magic want: Mere reins would not impress those sphinxes.

So Chariot is about purpose, about achieving the purpose, about deciding and being decisive, about strategy, about skill, about being the project manager, about determination and winning. You can think of Chariot as the Marine type of person.

.

Six of Cups …………. Six of Cups is sweet and safe like things used to be. Six of Cups is the redecorated past, the past as we choose to remember it – nostalgia, say. Six of Cups has many branches. One of them is romance. Another is children and childhood. Another is a gift – the little boy is giving the little girl flowers, so it can be a romantic gift. (Put Ace of Pentacles with it in a question about romance, and the boy is giving the girl a ring.) Another is home and housing, using the estate or apartment building the kids are in front of. Another is safety and being well-cared for or having a good life, since both kids are dressed warmly and well. These are Six of Cups main meanings.

.

Six of Swords…………Six of Swords is headed on out to better pastures where the grass is definitely greener than this one’s. Six of Swords equally emphasizes both the leaving – and indicates leaving a much less desirable locale – and the destination, which is much more desirable. Six of Swords can also be about the trip itself, and can involve a trip over water (overseas, even), or ‘over water’ meaning across a body of water like a lake or river. Naturally, it can be about a boat or boat trip, even a cruise.

Six of Swords, as ‘the future is better’ can be about recovering from illness or other setback. It can be about being released – such as from a lockup of any sort. It can be, for example, no longer addicted to cigarettes, or putting any other habit behind you.
