Tarot Readings for You for December 18, 2013 Wednesday©

Guidance     Money is today’s subject, about house payments, paying household bills, paying for other people, investing other people’s money, and even supporting mooches. It’s also to a lesser extent about yourself not being in a position to pay your own expenses. Advice is also about paying people the respect they deserve: Isn’t a full-fledged member of the community until he does what earns our respect. He doesn’t get enough respect to be happy in this marriage. The secret to having a good circle of friends is to treat them the way they deserve.

Tarot Readings: Real Estate, Making House Payments (Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups)

What you do does not pay enough to buy that house.

He did it himself, so he put out less money for the house.

The house isn’t good enough but I can afford the payments.

Broke after making the house payments, but I do it anyway.

To keep the house, be the one who makes the payments hand to hand.

We are ‘house poor’ making these payments.

Tarot Readings: Not a Member of the Crowd (Ten of Cups and Four of Pentacles)

He doesn’t get enough respect to be happy in this marriage.

The secret to having a good circle of friends is to treat them the way they deserve.

Doesn’t get enough attention when he does what everybody else does.

Isn’t a full-fledged member of the community until he does what earns our respect.

Doing the right thing leaves you out of that crowd.

Treat people fair and square but you can’t make everybody happy no matter what you do.

Tarot Readings: The Man Pays the Bills (Six of Pentacles and Magician)

He gives all these people money until he is doing without.

It’s his money the family is spending, and he is left out.

He does not have enough money to pay for all of them.

He pays the household bills and keeps a little for himself.

Not enough money left for himself after he pays the household bills.

It takes more money than he will ever make to pay everybody’s expenses.

All these people are broke and it’s you who are paying for them.

Everybody’s bills are his expense.

Tarot Readings: Everybody’s Spending Less (Ten of Cups and Four of Pentacles)

Everybody is spending less and doing for themselves.

We don’t have the money so we do for ourselves at home.

The deadbeat isn’t even paying his household bills himself.

Living with family to save money is what he is doing there.

Tarot Readings: The Cheapskate (Magician and Four of Pentacles)

It’s his doing that all of us are paid less.

He does as little as he can to be paid like everyone else.

They live in his house and they don’t chip in on its expenses.

He is thrifty when he is spending on his family.

Paying for a whole family of cheapskates is what I am doing here.

Tarot Readings: Money Secrets (Six of Pentacles and Four of Pentacles)

This is a respectable guy who keeps where we get that cash a secret.

He keeps what he does for the money a secret from everybody.

Everybody contributes money to this fund that he doesn’t tell them what he does with.

Investing other people’s money for them, some sticks to him.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Four of Pentacles

Six of Pentacles – Ten of Cups – Magician

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Six of Pentacles and Four of Pentacles are both about money. Six of Pentacles is paying, and Four of Pentacles is withholding. Six of Pentacles is giving others their due, paying or receiving a fair price – a fair exchange taking place. Four of Pentacles is being cheap, not paying enough, letting others pull out that credit card at the restaurant … or not being paid enough, thrift, budget, less money, not admitting or not telling about money – money secrets and being greedy, stingy, tightfisted.

Six of Pentacles and Four of Pentacles both are not just about money. Six of Pentacles is paying proper respect, proper attention, and Four of Pentacles is clamming up, not talking, sulking, withholding information,. Four of Pentacles’ meaning extends to meaning ‘less,’ being inferior, being clingy, having a constipated personality. It also has a few stray meanings like a hug, and being isolated from others (based on the picture of him sitting in the street outside of town.

Ten of Cups and Magician represent the people involved in our story that is about paying and not paying, giving and not giving proper attention or respect, etc. Magician is a man (a male) and means to do, to be the one to do something. Think of Magician as an instigator or initiator: He starts stuff. Here is where we get ‘what he does with money’ or ‘for money.’

Ten of Cups comes in as everybody, the family, other people or people, or all the people, and the community – which enriches the story a lot. Now we have a man doing for the family, we have in Ten of Cups and Four of Pentacles being stingy with other people or refusing to talk with other people. It gives us Six of Pentacles and Ten of Cups other people’s money being invested, paying family bills … even Ten of Cups and Magician making everybody happy, since Ten of Cups is one big happy family.

Six of Pentacles shows an employer weighing in a scale the coins he pays to the help. The scales and ‘paying a fair wage’ concept expands to legal proceedings (but not today). Paying is not just about money. We pay attention; we pay respect, we give others their due – all all these things embrace also the receiving end. It’s about an exchange – a fair exchange. We receive our due, we get respect, and so on.

Ten of Cups today is everybody as well as the community and the family. The illustration shows a happily-ever-after couple hugging themselves in front of their house in the gated community with the rainbow over it, with two happily-ever-after dancing-for-joy kids. We are not so much about the marriage today; we are about family, everyone, community, other people, and making people happy.

Magician is the man who does. The man who makes. The man himself. Being the one who does. Action, something that is being done or was done. The Magician (man who makes things happen with his willpower) is pictured with the tools of his trade, one arm to heaven and the other pointing to earth in the act of creating or preventing a happening – bringing it down from above. This of course is you: Creating with willpower.

Four of Pentacles is so short of money, and he is keeping it from those people in that town, keeping a secret. He is even hugging himself. He can be a cheapskate, he withholds just about anything (constipated inhibited personality). But he can be a hug! He can be self-restraint, can be self-contained. Four of Pentacles sometimes is someone who has to keep quiet, like High Priestess, because he is so far ahead of others. That isn’t our application today, though.
