Tarot Readings for You for December 6, 2014 Saturday©

by

GUIDANCE      Here we are again talking about an impeding factor motivating us to move, or to make a move … release the brakes. In love again when I couldn’t be; a near-death experience mellowing one out; zooming out of The Box or busting loose from the things that held you back; even being released from jail. On the other hand, we do go into being stuck in the past as well, how you cannot re-do the past … and how things just can’t be the way they were. Briefly, we introduce Baby as a factor in a person’s life course.

.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

Back to loving you when I couldn’t before.

 ……..………

Tarot Readings: Getting Out of The Box (Knight of Swords and Eight of Swords)

Out of the box I used to be in.

A break with the suffocating part of the past.

I wasn’t going anywhere, back at the old place, so I got out.

Innocent, and released from lockup.

Where I grew up held me back, but I got over that fast.

Busting loose from the things that used to hold you back.

……..………

Tarot Readings: Can’t Be The Way It Was (Eight of Swords and Six of Cups)

Can’t go back home again.

My best friend can’t get out of there.

We aren’t friends anymore, and there’s nothing I can do about it.

I did you a favor, and I can’t do it again.

You can’t drive fast in the old part of town.

Can never be romantic again.

 ……..………

Tarot Readings: Stuck in the Past (Eight of Swords and Six of Cups)

I’m getting boxed-in again like I used to be.

A very brief visit to that stifling place I grew up in.

I go back to the old neighborhood that’s stuck in time.

Can’t just run away from home.

Can’t re-do the past.

Briefly stuck back in the past again.

 ……..………

Tarot Readings: Changes About a Baby (Knight of Swords and Six of Cups)

A baby narrowly avoids being disabled.

Can’t leave home for the sake of the child.

Suddenly a helpless child again.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Knight of Swords – Eight of Swords – Six of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….…………………... We are talking about that rock in your road … that boulder … that impasse (Eight of Cups) that puts a damper on spirits and kills your engine. It often is about the past and about family ties (Six of Cups). And it requires a burst of energy, a change of direction, a quick turn to zoom out of, to get past it (Knight of Swords).

………………………..   Knight of Swords is fast, is change, is switching direction, is a sudden strike, a turnaround. Knight of Swords can be running for the hills, can be avidly pursuing a course, can be doubling back (often at high speed too), can be turning his/her life around. Put it next to any of the mental cards, and it is a quick change of mind. Many of his meanings and applications are shared with Knight of Wands.

………………………..  Eight of Swords … in high contrast to its mate above … is anchored involuntarily in place. Is stuck. Is helpless. Can’t do anything about it. Has no insight (blindfolded). Eight of Swords can be a container, a safe … it’s The Box. You know. THAT box. Stifled. Stymied. Eight of Swords is a flat tire on the sports car. You see a woman blindfolded and tied up by a rank amateur, surrounded by abandoned weapons, with the castle (her people?) far up the hill. Isolated.

………………………..   Six of Cups is another contrast to its Tarot stable-mates here. Six of Cups is the warm-fuzzies, the sentimental favor, sweet old-fashioned trusting love. Children, childhood, the homestead, the parental home … all of that. You see a little well-cared-for boy giving flowers to a little well-cared-for girl in front of either an estate or an apartment building. Treacle, kitsch, and utter sentimentality.

………..…………..  Knight of Swords and Eight of Swords Knight of Swords and Eight of Swords is getting out of being stuck. But it also says ‘can’t escape’ because Knight of Swords means both ‘getting out of’ and ‘escape.’ That’s reasonable, right? And Eight of Swords means both ‘being stuck and ‘can’t.’ And that’s reasonable too. Tarot Verbatim™ as a language-based, literal, Tarot system has distinctions like this that an expert need be knowledgeable of, need use. The exact literal question is very important to this system because it yields an exact literal answer – which is unique in psychic inquiry, unique in psychism, period … because it isn’t really psychism; it is a logical tool that accesses the subconscious. And that is … up to now … a contradiction in terms . x..

………..………….. Knight of Swords and Six of Cups  Knight of Swords and Six of Cups is going back (Knight of Swords) to the past (Six of Cups). Here are some of its phrases that express this thought in a variety of ways: going back to being in love; get out of what you used to be in; got over my background (where I used to live) fast; a break with the past; go back home again; we aren’t friends anymore; do a favor again; drive fast in the old part of town; romantic again; again, like it used to be; a brief visit to the place I grew up in; back to the old neighborhood; run away from home; re-do the past; briefly back into the past; a baby avoids; leave home for the sake of a child; suddenly a child again. x..

…………………… Eight of Swords and Six of Cups  Eight of Swords and Six of Cups combine the concept (Eight of Swords) of ‘can’t’ and being stuck, even being disabled, helpless or unable, with the concept (Six of Cups) of love, the past, the old neighborhood or childhood home, innocence, things that used to (whatever), my best friend, a favor, and being romantic.

So the combinations for the sentences of today are:can’t love; the box I used to be in; the suffocating part of the past; wasn’t going anywhere; back at the old place; innocent, and in jail; where I grew up held me back; the things that used to hold me back; my best friend can’t; can’t do a favor; can’t be romantic; boxed in like I used to be; that stifling place I grew up in; the old neighborhood that’s stuck in time; stuck in the past; disabled baby; a helpless child. x..

The ties to the past pull us. This can be a wonderful thing, or it can be angst beyond measure. Sometimes, we have arrived at where we truly belong and fit in, and it’s time to settle in. Sometimes we progress by breaking with the past – in which case we zoom out of one scene and into a better one, which is an exhilarating, mountain-top, experience – a landmark in our lives. Sometimes, a duty nails us to the choice that is wrong for our personal progress, but right morally. Then, we look to the future for our deliverance. So what we are talking about is choosing … analyzing where in the spectrum we are at, and what is the right course overall.

Knight of Swords……… Knight of Swords obviously means fast-moving: That’s what the fellow in armor is doing. We can assume it’s sudden. Less obvious is that a change of direction may be at hand – the kind of change of direction that involves switching sides, a sudden strike, a turnaround, doubling back (in a hurry), even turning one’s life around. Knight of Sword can be pursuing, or can be running for the hills. Speed is his only ‘for sure.’

.

Eight of Swords .………… Eight of Swords is self-imprisonment, voluntary servitude, being helpless, choosing to be a victim – usually. You can’t do anything about something … for whatever reason. You see a blindfolded woman loosely tied up, surrounded by weapons. A dwelling is visible ‘way up on a hill. Naturally, this Rider-Waite Tarot card often translates ‘can’t,’ or stuck, or helpless. It is ‘what holds you back.’ It is ‘chief limiting factor’ in science inquiries.

.

Six of Cups…………. Six of Cups is trust, love, old-fashioned virtue, old house, good safe neighborhood, home, cozy home life, children, siblings, childhood, gift (especially love gifts), favors, memories, the past. The elements arise from the little boy giving the little girl flowers with the estate or apartment building behind them, and they are beautifully attired. The style of the picture is warm and fuzzy, kitschy.
