Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Nine of Cups – Moon – Three of Pentacles
.
……………………… Nine of Cups and Moon … say WHUT? Nine of Cups is getting what you want, and Moon is the worst of it. It’s like a desire to suffer …. The benefits of dealing with the worst of it are what these two cards get together to say, especially with Three of Cups meaning ‘dealing with.’ So our stories are about making a profit from pollution, getting a kick out of dealing with impossible people, making an advantageous deal with the enemy, having a relationship with a difficult person, and a good life for a handicapped individual. You can fill in the rest of this: the upside of the downside.
………………………….. Nine of Cups is satisfied, is profit, is getting what you want, or having it your way, is benefit, is advantageous, is a good profit, is being happy, is what you prefer … is ‘I got mine’ and ‘I ate the whole thing.’ Oh. It can be greed, and a fat cat, too. You see a heavyset fella with a big ole grin who has put ten empties on the table behind him and crossed him arms: Burp!
………………………….. Moon is the worst, the dark evil downside of anything, the shadow. Look at the Ace of Pentacles, the right path, straight and narrow: It is the opposite of Moon. Moon is the road to hell, and it’s based on a myth, not so much the Christian hell, because those two towers are about the entrance to hell at the ends of the earth (which used to be a real thing, you know), and have other ominous associations in ancient mythic histories. The coyote and dog are natural enemies, and they are pals here; the lobster is embarking upon a land journey; the road isn’t straight, and it’s a swamp. So Moon can mean madness, insanity, mental illness.
Moon actually brings out the worst in the cards it aspects: This is a fact. It can add a cuss word to your sentence, usually damned, fucked-up, or shit. (I mentally call Moon ‘maximum fuckedupness’ to its companion cards.) You interpret adversely what it touches, so you have to be careful when you have Moon in your spread, careful as to what its shadow is cast upon today. If it aspects an already-nasty card, pay attention. Put it next to Seven of Swords, and the assault may be fatal, the risk not just hazardous, the adventure a mishap. Moon is fear, suffering, pain, illness, putrefaction (rot), poison – any number of other nasty things – occasionally. It indicates cancer too, as a malignant situation. Moon is nightmare, often.
But, on the other hand, watch for Moon to simply mean ‘you are afraid of’ whatever it refers to – therefore that it’s only a fear. It can mean a flaw or fault, and it can mean dirt, dirty, damaged items. Naturally, Moon is into pornography and perversions. Moon is ‘the wild side’ sometimes. Lastly, and parenthetically, as you see a house-cat in Queen of Wands, you see a dog in Moon, and these can be the part of the illustration to use sometimes!
………………………….. Three of Pentacles is the relationship, the deal, the transaction, the exchange, the meeting, the team working out the project, a contract, and people who do their part as agreed in the business at hand. Agreement is a large part of Three of Pentacles’ meaning: This is a meeting of people who see eye-to-eye, who are on the same page, and who are working together in a give-and-take dedicated to mutual benefit for all involved. That doesn’t just refer to commercial business, at all. Three of Pentacles is meeting a friend, meeting for sex, is any kind of mutual relationship at all. The illustration is about a real estate contract: The architect or general contractor is demonstrating, with the blueprint, to his clients, that he has done the job per the specs on the blueprint and deserves to get his final draw, the profit on the job. ‘Mutual’ is one of Three of Pentacles’ words. Three of Pentacles is about settlement and settling up. Make sure you keep in mind: This is a meeting. This is a relationship. The transaction can be social, romantic, business, or even a hearing or proceeding in a lawsuit, or the settlement of a lawsuit. Watch for it to be a meeting of three people, very often – and Three of Cups can be too.
……….…………. Nine of Cups and Moon I enjoy suffering, these say – the perfect description of masochism. Not to fear, we ignore this obvious interpretation and look to the more useful ‘upside to the downside’ application of Nine of Cups (Your wish is granted.) and Moon (Worst case scenario, suffering, pain, nightmare ….) Nine of Cups and Moon say ‘I am happy or content with this in spite of its bad part.’ Having a good life as a handicapped person; enjoying something that is difficult, or even that is impossible. Making a profit from something criminal or toxic. Enjoying your perversion. Glad you suffered. x..
……….………… Nine of Cups and Three of Pentacles are a mutually satisfying relationship, a relationship that includes us getting together (Three of Pentacles) and that Nine of Cups says: feels good, that is what we want, that makes us happy and glad. Here are the sentences that talk about these things:
I am totally satisfied with our relationship.
I have the relationship I want.
I want a relationship that satisfies our mutual _.
For us to get together like we want … but we will have our way.
We will have our way.
We get together like we want.
We got together and settled things so that we both are happy.
Satisfaction about us getting along together.
So glad I _ our relationship.
Meeting like this feels good.
.
Three of Pentacles is a deal and dealing with, is mutual, and is meeting together. Nine of Cups, yes, can be greedy, but it’s also liking or enjoying, is the upside, is satisfying, is making good money, is what you prefer, is so much better, is getting what you want, is a profit and a benefit. Here are those sentences:
You are so greedy: The way you deal with us ….
You are so greedy: The way you deal with us ….
I actually like to deal with people.
The upside is in how to deal with it.
A meeting to deal with _ can be satisfying.
I make good money dealing with ….
Some people you prefer to deal with as _.
I deal with things so much better ….
I got what I wanted out of a deal.***
There’s a profit to be made.
Band together for mutual benefit.
Nine of Cups is getting what you want, is satisfaction, and Three of Pentacles is meeting in person, meeting of the minds, is everybody getting what he or she wants out of a situation, and is, once again, mutual. Here are the sentences that put it like this:
You get what you want when you meet in person.
A meeting of the minds about what each party wants.
… get what they want out of a _ situation.
We settle to our mutual satisfaction.
.
Nine of Cups says ‘The good thing is:’ and Three of Pentacles adds ‘We see eye-to-eye about it.’ Nine of Cups says ‘very profitable’ and Three of Pentacles adds ‘business.’ Three of Pentacles is ‘We can work with this’ and Nine of Cups says ‘its lining is silver,’ speaking, of course of a colloquial saying. So here are those sentences:
The good thing is: We see eye-to-eye about it.
A very profitable business.
We can work with this because its lining is silver. x..
………..………… Moon and Three of Pentacles combine a relationship with some bad thing – a downside, handicap, difficulty, perversion, ruin, something perverse, suffering. These sentences go like this:
… with our relationship in spite of the downside(s).
Relationship with a handicapped person.
A give-and-take relationship with this very difficult person.
A relationship … mutual perversions.
Our ruined relationship … and settled things so we both are _.
Perverse _ about us getting along together.
I suffered through our relationship.
… about the bad thing is: We see eye-to-eye about it.
.
Besides being relationship, Three of Pentacles is a deal or dealing, making a profit, a meeting, settling, working with, and business. Moon is impossible, fucked-up, toxic, a downside, something horrible, crooks, a wreck, enemies, suffering, very bad, crime and that ‘cloud’ that has the fabled lining. Here are the sentences for that:
DEALING WITH THE IMPOSSIBLE
The way you deal with (me/us) is so fucked-up.
A profit off the toxic end of things.
… of the downside is in how to deal with it.
A meeting to deal with something horrible.
Dealing with these crooks.
We settle the wreck.
Some people, you deal with them as enemies.
I deal with … now that I have suffered.
A very bad deal.
Crime is business.
We can work with this cloud ….
Three of Pentacles’ emphasis is the team, the people who are meeting, who band together and get together. Moon is the enemy, is impossible, is wrong, is the worst, is a troubled situation. And here are those sentences:
Meet the enemy in person.
It’s impossible for us to get together.
It’s wrong to meet like this.
In the worst of times, you band together.
Each of us wants the other to _ out of a troubled situation. x..
.
.
Sometimes we get together when something goes horribly wrong, and something great comes of our uniting as a team around the cause, something that would not have happened otherwise. For one thing, the team members know one another now, and can act together. It’s the same process as suffering enlightening, or at least wising up, an individual. We can expand our awareness and grow as a circle of people as well as, as an individual.

.
.
Nine of Cups ……….. Nine of Cups shows an ‘I ate the whole thing’ scene. A chubby guy with a big grin, nine empties behind him … well, looks like he drank the whole thing. This picture is about feeling good. This is about plenty, getting satisfied, having it all your way, being pleased and happy – or pleasing someone – and about satisfaction or a satisfied feeling. You are at least content when this Rider Waite Tarot card shows up for you. It often means ‘glad.’ It’s getting rich sometimes, or being rich … and it can mean ‘fat cat’ that way. It means getting what you want, and sometimes means ‘I want.’
.
Moon …………. Moon is going wrong, doing wrong or being wronged. It is about the worst times, bad times, horrible experiences, serious illness, destruction, damage, danger, hopeless and impossible situations (or people, or animals) … anything nasty, including insanity, radiation, toxins, rot and poisons. It even contributes curse words (shit, fucked or fucked-up, and damned are the most common, for obvious reasons). Rider Waite’s illustration shows twin towers of evil mythic repute, a dog and coyote consorting, a lobster going on a land journey … everything out of kilter. Moon means nightmare and fear, so sometimes it can simply indicate the card it aspects is something someone in the story is afraid of. It means hate, malice, and malignant. It means perversions, both sexual, malicious or hateful, and bad habits. It can say ‘the wild side.’ But it can also be about a dirty or moldy thing or place. It can simply say ‘mistake’ – and that is frequent. It can be about a flaw or fault, and maybe ugliness. Once in a while, it’s about a dog, as once in a while Queen of Wands is about a cat, usually a house cat.
.
Three of Pentacles…………. Three of Pentacles is a relationship – any kind at all. It is about people meeting, or getting together to do something, usually something mutually beneficial that they are working out together. It can be about meeting a friend or lover, or even a meeting of the minds, because it is all about agreement. Three of Pentacles is mutual, is a transaction or exchange. It is a legal card too because it’s about a contract the architect-builder has with his clients. He is settling up with them for his final (largest) draw, his profit – so Three of Pentacles is about settling, and getting your reward for doing your part. This is the … the real estate transaction card (mortgage, bank loan for real estate, mortgage broker), and it can also be about construction work.
