GUIDANCE What a beautiful thing a meeting of the minds is! Consensus is king when a situation escalates into crisis territory. What a beautiful relationship (personal, business or even potentially adversarial) you have when parties to it are each keeping an eye out for upcoming pitfalls, mishaps and threats to whatever is ongoing between them. I explain to clients that soon after it begins, a relationship has a third party; and that third party is the relationship itself. One party wants the relationship one way, and the other party wants the opposite. So if you and me agree to protect the relationship, we reduce friction points between us … the pointy points are less thorny – are not so personal anymore – when we have that mentality. Sometimes clarifying the issues we are at odds with settles them – often because, when the issue is expressed precisely, we see the silly side of it. Then you have a consensus by embarrassment.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Moon – Three of Pentacles – Knight of Swords
.
.
………………….…………………… Moon is an uh-oh card: You look for a relief or rescue card to negate its influence, like you would look around for someone to come up and rescue you from an attention-vampire at a stand-up cocktail party. Three of Pentacles is the stand-up cocktail party: people meeting together. And here comes Knight of Swords, God bless him – popping up to turn things around, and you escape. You could designate Knight of Swords the relief or rescue card here. There is an urgency to the combination of these three Rider Waite Tarot cards because both Moon and Knight of Swords mean ’emergency.’ Our general theme today is averting problems and getting out of trouble. It is upbeat overall.
………………………….. Moon, I privately think of as ‘maximum fuckedupness’ because that’s what it expresses feels like: the worst, the worst case scenario. You can think of the Moon card as a fatalist too: It identifies how bad it can get. Moon, therefore, can mean cancer and hate and panic – scary things that are real and either here now or about to be. You pay attention to Moon. It can mean germs, contamination or pollution, toxins, conspiracies and crimes (including high crimes), and it can represent an oppositional attitude. If it accompanies another scary card (or a cluster of them), things are bad. For example, if you see Moon with Seven of Swords, you consider whether a death is murder. Moon is the shadow, the dark side, of anything.
Moon’s illustration shows two ‘evil towers’ that are in some tradition the entrance to hell, so Moon is ‘the road to hell’ in the same way that Ace of Pentacles, ‘the right road’ is the straight-and-narrow that leads to heaven. The lobster embarking on a land journey and the dog and coyote hanging out together (they are enemies) are how the illustration expresses Moon’s meaning.
………………………….. Three of Pentacles says ‘We are in this together’ – a relationship of any kind. It often shows how similar love relationships are to business transactions. I find that fascinating and amusing. Three of Pentacles today is teamwork, is putting heads together, working it out, meeting for a purpose, is each party doing his part, is dealing with people, or the deal itself. Note how Three of Pentacles can also translate: them, they, us, we.
Three of Pentacles’ illustration has a builder-architect demonstrating, with the blueprint, that the building, the cathedral, was built according to specs. He gets the major portion of his pay when they agree to sign off and settle up. Many of the meanings that grow out of this illustration, we are not using today.
………………………….. Knight of Swords is The Lone Ranger today, one of his titles. He has several categories of meanings, and you look to other cards to see who he is being today in your spread. Today he is the turning point. Today he says things like ‘not again’ and ‘not anymore.’ He also says ‘again.’ He means a switch, so he can say both these opposite things without contradicting himself. His main meaning usually is about fast, quick, speed, and so on. When joined by Moon, you think of paramedics, or anything that rushes over when beans have spilled or there’s blood on the floor.
……….…………. Moon and Three of Pentacles Moon and Three of Pentacles together suggest a meeting of evildoers, or meeting about a problem, or trouble that brings people together to work out a solution. Something bad could happen at a meeting with these two cards too. They could also be about getting feelings hurt in a relationship. They say ‘bad relationship,’ or a relationship with a hateful or demented person, thing or animal. Yes, Moon means demented too. Today, people meet to handle the problem Moon represents, or the people you are dealing with are the problem. x..
……….…………. Moon and Knight of Swords Moon and Knight of Swords combine an energetic rush into, or out of, ‘the worst that could happen.’ When you see Moon, you look for such a card. Moon is trouble, and Knight of Swords is ‘get out of,’ although you have to look around to see whether Knight of Swords is meaning ‘get into’ this time, because he is a switch from one to the other. Today, with Three of Pentacles in the middle of these two, we are working it out, settling, negotiating, coming together to handle it. As I said above, talking about Knight of Swords as The Lone Ranger, “When joined by Moon, you think of paramedics, or anything that rushes over when beans have spilled or there’s blood on the floor.” But getting out of a bad thing need not be an external situation: Moon and Knight of Swords together also say “I’m not the mess I used to be, anymore.” It should be noted that EACH of these cards, Moon and Knight of Swords, means ’emergency.’ x..
………..…………… Three of Pentacles and Knight of Swords Three of Pentacles and Knight of Swords cover an arena of possible scenarios since Three of Pentacles is any relationship or meeting, and Knight of Swords is a change in that. We get together to get out of this, or we get together to inaugurate this. Knight of Swords can be an emergency, so you have an emergency, or rushed, meeting, or an emergency that happens in a meeting: a crisis, probably a sudden one because, of course, Knight of Swords is all about speed and ‘suddenly’ is one of his pet words. These two cards also describe leaving a meeting in a hurry (possibly in a huff?) or rushing into a meeting. x..

Nothing trifling here: We are looking at severe situations, big problems. Some people attune to impending, or to already-happened, disasters: They rush in and make it their business to set things aright. The storm-troopers. The paramedics. Some people are dedicated to creating big trouble: We look at them too – at the solutions to their mischief. We look at people who have made relationship trouble for themselves and are getting together to patch things up and/or to prevent them from happening. We also look at relationships that work because the parties are wise to the slip-ups and have done their prevention-homework ahead of time.
What a thing of beauty is a meeting of minds!: Whatever situation you are in with another party, or other parties, you guys know what might happen that’s not-so-good. You agree (a consensus, a meeting of the minds) to head it off, and there’s no problem. We look at situations where there’s no such agreement (Let me outta here!) and we look at agendas of ill-will, and we look at heading off impending mistakes or troubles or problems after the fact. The focus of our topic here is: The bad stuff is less likely to happen to people who get together realistically to ward it off or prevent it.

Moon …….. Moon’s illustration clearly depicts the worst case scenario by: (1) Those towers that, according to some pertinent tradition, guard the gates to hell, (2) the lobster embarking on a land journey (doomed – it needs a water environment), (3) coyote consorting with dog – they are natural enemies. ‘This is as bad as it gets,’ Moon is telling you in your spread. It’s a scary card that, at its least, means an oppositional attitude, and at its worst means penultimately awful things like cancer, death, high crimes, pollution or contamination with toxins, conspiracies, and panic or terror.
.
Three of Pentacles …………. You see an architect-builder demonstrating with the blueprint, to his clients, that he followed that blueprint and is entitled to his final draw, which constitutes his profit. Three of Pentacles is settling up with people, putting heads together with people, a contract, a business transaction, or a personal relationship (which, yes, includes love relationships). Three of Pentacles if often a team or teamwork, is working it out together, is each person doing his or her part, is dealing with other people, and is the deal itself. Note how this card simply translates plural pronouns: we, they, us, them.
.
Knight of Swords …………. If you think of this card as a turning point and as making a switch from one (whatever) to the other, you will apply it best. Its main application most of the time is being in a hurry, rush, speed, fast, quick, etc. Its secondary application is: turning point, switching from one (whatever) to the other, and even contradiction.
