Justice – Should, right, and supposed to: Justice’s favorite terms. Justice is getting what you deserve, what you are entitled to, and giving them of course. Supporting words to these are: straight, sober, real, sane, normal and okay.

Justice also represents the whole judicial system from top to bottom: the courts, the police, and all the people involved great and small. Justice translates ‘legal’ any day in any context, including making ‘legal marriage’ of marriage cards, and ‘legal husband’ and legal wife’ out of cards that are saying ‘husband’ and ‘wife.’
Eight of Wands – Its meanings are few and focused, this Eight of Wands. Flying through the air, the wands make these main meanings: communication, fast movement, increasing, one after another, and plurals – lots of anything.

Communication is a big thing with Eight of Wands – any form, any angle. It translates say, tell, talk, words, hear, text, written, report, and anything in between. Sign language, telepathy, the communication of trees, birds and animals.

Fast movement, and movement generally, belong to Eight of Wands – without direction. It translates ‘rush’ and ‘quickly’ today, as well as ‘says he is going’ and ‘everything is going.’

‘Increasing’ and ‘increasingly’ belong to Eight of Wands in very flexible ways: more in number, longer in time, even an increase in slowing down or losing! Eight of Wands can put suffixes like ‘-er’ and even ‘-iest’ onto neighboring cards (and do nothing more than that).

One after another, a step at a time, items on a list (or the list itself: Anything sequential can belong to Eight of Wands. In the illustration, the wants one above the other suggest this.

Plurals, and a number of anything, are another category of Eight of Wands. It can simply add the plural form to a neighboring card. It means plural words like everything, anything, and ‘all.’

Four of Swords – Knights are made, not just born. They serve an apprenticeship at the court of a knight other than their father, and then there’s a ritual of tests to determine whether they are worth. So our fellow lying on the saint or hero’s coffin is taking a test. Here, he meditates overnight in the church building on his life purpose to have a vision to report to the bishop. So Four of Swords can mean meditation.

Refraining from action is the general meaning of Four of Swords, and there’s quite a scope to that. Here are some of the words and phrases Four of Swords can bring you in this regard: not doing, lazy, time out, hold your peace, wait, staying, not responding, indifferent, pays no attention, not care, unconcerned, and sleep or sleeping – including ‘sleeping it off.’
