Guidance Ever since the human mammal quit being tribal (most of us anyway), factions-to-be-loyal-to have proliferated among us. All kinds of factions with all sorts of labels and bad words for each another. Are you excited? All sorts of seduction and propaganda … maybe some freebies too … to get us to buy into the mind product. No incentive to stay there, usually, though: Inertia will accomplish that, won’t it? We picture opting out of group mentality, and dusting its labels from our coats … or at least inspecting them. We picture sleeping through the schemes of the family reunion. We picture sleeping with your spouse even though it’s boring. A person who is immune to the loyalty bug should lay low and be an unobtrusive sleeper, we suggest. It’s one thing to not believe in God and quite another to not believe in people!

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Two of Cups – Ten of Cups – Four of Swords
.
………..…………. Ten of Cups In the center we have a circle of people – could be friends, family, neighborhood, coworkers or democrats, whatever. They have something in common, and are a tribe of some sort … except Ten of Cups is also the all-inclusive words of everybody, anybody, everyone, everybody else, etc.
……….…..…………… Two of Cups To the left we have mind games, interfering, cheating, getting dragged into or sucked into something, or someone’s agenda. In Two of Cups, we have propaganda, sales and marketing, commercials.
…………………………Four of Swords To the right we have Four of Swords not having any part of it. Four of Swords is inert – doesn’t get involved, isn’t listening, isn’t participating in the scene.
So our theme is the dramas of getting, or not getting, involved or dragged into or sucked into other people’s games or disguised influence upon us. In the middle is the group of people; to the left is getting involved; to the right is not getting involved. Your choice, my choice, our choice, all day long every day.

Two of Cups ………. Tarot Verbatim’s Two of Cups is not anybody else’s Two of Cups. The caduceus, that funky winged lion face with intertwined snakes holding it aloft, is about influence of spirits in physical human relations or transactions. It was used in magic in Egypt, and Moses, who was an Egyptian prince, used it too. It indicates, in Tarot, that one or both parties has a hidden agenda regarding the situation pictured. The situation pictured is a formal engagement , ‘pledging the troth,’ that was binding back then … binding enough that if the guy did not marry the woman, she was ‘marked for life’ and could sue him. So Two of Cups is about being victimized by another’s scheme. Sexual cheating, embezzlement, lying … it covers all bases.
Ten of Cups ………. We’re all one big happy family here, Ten of Cups says. Happily ever after marriage. Everybody. Any bunch of people who have something in common that they identify with – which can be the fellas on the golf course, or the Warren Commission. It is not a sinister group but it can be a hypocritical one … the Moral Majority type thing. Ten of Cups also is a house, neighborhood, home, or all the relatives.
Four of Swords ………. Four of Swords is bored, ‘Count me out.’ This is a person who ain’t interested, who isn’t part of it, isn’t doing anything about it, isn’t responding, is an inert substance, isn’t participating in the scene. Four of Swords is sleeping through it. Sometimes Four of Swords is a vision quest because the illustration shows a knight candidate meditating overnight on the sarcophagus of the cathedral’s saint or hero. It can be advice to rest up, or to get some sleep. If the question is about a coma or a death, it may appear and represent that item per your question.
