Judgment – The dead recover to a new phase of life, enlightened as they hear the angel’s wake-up call. They are changed, renewed, alive again. So they are going back to the way things were but there’s a new regime too. So Judgment means the change, the new phase, and the going back, as well as the ‘again.’

Judgment is one of the speak/tell/say theme cards in Tarot Verbatim™. It especially means an announcement (or a big announcement), an alarm, a loud voice (shout, holler). It is a public announcement too, as well as publicity and press release.

Judgment also represents the new view these rejuvenated people have – new information, enlightenment, vision. It even says ‘bright idea’ because Judgment will appear, as Hanged Man will, for inspiration and inspired notions.

Seven of Pentacles – You lean on your shovel … What now? … and wonder whether that vine will bear fruit. No way to tell because it’s a plant with gender, and you didn’t plant that many. So Seven of Pentacles is a ‘Duh’ card, along with Page of Cups, and both these cards bring questions to your spread: They put your sentences into question form often. They mean doubt, they mean ‘I think,’ and they mean maybe. They also express the contemplation and the wondering and the pondering Mr. Seven of Pentacles is doing here on his shovel.

Seven of Pentacles translates words that express musing – words like ‘somehow’ and ‘seem.’ Sometimes Page of Pentacles will say ‘I guess.’
Knight of Wands – Here he comes and there he goes, in a hurry heading off or heading away. He should mean fleeing (leaving ran off, going out of town, running, getting out) more often than pursuing because he has the look of ‘getting out of Dodge,’ which is a phrase he owns, and because his weapon is not extended.

Today, though, he is more pursuing, in the company of Judgment’s ‘new life.’ Today he is getting on with it, going with it, pursuing this course, going fast, making fast progress. Today he simply says ‘my ways,’ which is unusual.

But Knight of Wands doesn’t have to be heading one way or the other; he can simply be speeding, hurrying, going fast, or just be faster than (whatever).
