Guidance

Not paying attention to what I am doing as I am doing it: That’s being on autopilot, in reflexive mode, operating subconsciously. That’s a gear in my head, and it’s not … necessarily … just being carelessly inattentive. Because some things you don’t need to pay any mind to. We tend to assume that we are going to be doing, forever, whatever it is we are doing at the moment. Of course, my interior life has a lot to do with my everyday actions: That’s just the good or not-so-good consequence or reward of my habitual behavior.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

I’m often subconscious as I do things.

When you do something over and over, you are doing it in reflexive mode.

You do it over and over until you don’t even know you are doing it.

I haven’t a clue how to get this done, but I’m still at it!

My interior life has a lot to do with my everyday actions.

When I’m on autopilot, I do whatever I usually do.

I am letting loose of everyday reality.

A whole new head as I do the same old routines.

Starting again from scratch.

I am not myself but it’s an ordinary day.

I had no idea I could do that job.

I can do this job with my eyes closed.

Don’t even think about doing that job.

I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m doing it.

You may as well keep up what you’re doing now.

I do things for no reason at all, all the time.

Piece by piece, letting loose of myself.

I forget to do things all the time.

Not knowing what I’m doing is how I am doing it.

We assume that we will always do what we are doing.

I do things involuntarily often.

What you do regularly sinks into whoever you are.

I am working on myself ‘out there.’

What a lot of work I have to do that I’m not even aware of!

He is working on himself at gut level.

You’ve already done it, so it doesn’t matter whether you keep doing it.

Starting a job clears your mind.

I’m not doing the work – let him.

Let the man do the work.

Synopsis

I don’t know why I’m doing this, but I keep doing it. There must be some reason. My interior life has a lot to do with my everyday actions. I am ‘out there’ not paying attention to what I am doing again, what do you know. On autopilot, I do accomplish my purpose, though – I assume!

Fool

Fool

The core meaning of Fool is ‘incipient,’ which means, oh, ‘potential’ [potentiality, actually – and incipiency – for you language buffs] in the sense a seed is a potential plant. It represents the highest, least dense or least reachable, spiritual plane or level or zone. (In religious thought, it represents God in the ultimate sense of not being a created thing but being the instigator of creation.) It is the zero in the deck; and zero as the cipher, the place-holder, determines the value of its surroundings without directly having a value (or, say, presence) itself. Got it? In some sense Fool is not present (often). You could say Fool is the equivalent of ‘the’ in language. (By the way, other languages don’t have the ‘article,’ which is what ‘the’ is called as a sentence part. Maybe no other language – just English?)

Fool can translate ‘un’ as a prefix, and can also translate words that indicate a negative state – words like ‘isn’t.’ That comes from the ‘incipient’ meaning.

Okay, down to everyday practice … which is what Eight of Pentacles represents …

Fool stands for the subconscious – for reflexive mode; for not paying attention; for being ‘out there’ and being free and ‘free of.’ Fool can be that ‘I don’t know and I don’t care’ attitude, or ‘Oh never mind.’ Fool can be the detachment mature people have from immediate situations.

Specifically, Fool doesn’t worry. (‘What, me worry’ mentality.) He isn’t worrying about falling off the cliff there. Fool is free. Fool is unaffected … ‘water off a duck’s back.’ You could say Fool is a Teflon person. Like World. Fool is to assume and to be oblivious too. Fool is not on the same wavelength as the rest of us – is open-minded, is oriented to nonphysical realities. Fool is ‘it just is’ or ‘you just are’ or ‘I just am.’ Fool sometimes translates ‘as if.’ (For example, with Magician ‘act as if.’)

Fool is optimism, faith, and youth. Also the start or beginning of anything. Magician, too, is a start.

Magician

Magician

Guys do things. Magician’s two main meanings are (1) forms of ‘do’ and ‘make’ and (2) male pronouns, and first-person ones. He also represents the -self suffixes along the lines of ‘do it yourself,’ did it myself,’ etc. Today, Eight of Pentacles is pulling him into all his ‘do’ meanings, since the Eight means doing something repeatedly, or repeated action. Magician starts things and does things.

You see him , his right hand with the magic wand raised to the sky to bring down the result he wills, his left hand directed earthward to anchor that result into real-world action. Yes, Magician means action and activity too. Like Chariot, Magician accomplishes his purpose.

Eight of Pentacles

Eight of Pentacles

The picture shows a carpenter making one object after another. Eight of Pentacles refers to continual and constant routine, to what is usual and ordinary, to actually doing something, to being the one who does something – being the hands-on worker, for instance. The carpenter is steadily hammering, making the same object over and over again, one at a time.

Today Eight of Pentacles is a Siamese twin with Magician, all about doing and making and getting it done. Eight of Pentacles is a ‘continual’ theme card, so watch for it to translate ‘keep it up,’ keep (do)ing, always, always does, again, often, frequently, and such words.

Eight of Pentacles is the routine, the everyday workaday world, and anything repetitive. It’s ordinary stuff and ordinary people: You can think of it that way.

Now Without The Pictures

Fool isn’t paying attention. Magician is doing. Eight of Pentacles always does that, does it again, often does it – is doing it over and over. Not paying attention to what you are doing immediately suggests reflexive mode, a very valuable gear in our heads – one that puts conscious activity (Magician is activity.) into subconscious awareness (Fool is subconscious). ‘I can do this job with my eyes closed,’ we say. The same three cards can say ‘He doesn’t know he keeps doing that.’

Today is a study of the distinction between Magician’s ‘doing,’ and Eight of Pentacles’ habitual routine of doing something over and over. It’s the difference between ‘doing’ and ‘eep doing.’ Do you do Tarot? – if so, NOW WE SHOW WHERE EACH PHRASE IN EACH SENTENCE COMES FROM demonstrates this distinction ‘where the rubber meets the road.’

Both Fool and Magician mean ‘to start’ or the start of something, starting up.
