Two of Cups makes Eight of Pentacles ‘work under the table’ and ‘games people play at work,’ ‘workaholic’ and ‘workaround.’ These two cards also say ‘tricks of the trade.’ Another thing these two say is ‘disloyal employee.’ They could be an employee who is a spy or an embezzler, too.

Two of Cups is sexual attraction because it means an unseen influence, and because the couple there is announcing their engagement, so they are in love. Two of Cups, with its other meaning of disloyalty or getting taken advantage of, and self-interest, will also mean a cheating lover, a love affair in which one (or both) party is ‘out to get’ the other, or use the other for, say, social climbing or financial benefit, or even revenge.
