Tarot Readings for You for September 11, 2014 Thursday(c)

by

Guidance     Questions, questions, questions! We go through the day being presented with all these ponderables, don’t we? They’re like flies at times, and enough’s enough already! Is it wrong? Should I have not done it? Can I quit this? Does life have a purpose or is it a waste? What was that dream about? Can I be guilty if I didn’t do it? Was that a wrong turn? Maybe I should just put up with this shit, and let them be dead wrong. If wondering about it drives me crazy, should I quit wondering? We don’t think of telling it to shut up. Oh, to silence the second-guessing chatter, the back seat driver in the back of our minds, how golden that blessed silence would be.

Tarot Readings: Perchance to Dream (Seven of Pentacles and Moon)

Puzzling dreams in deep sleep.

What was that dream, anyway? – it is haunting.

I go back to sleep trying to remember that dream.

Maybe you need that dream state of deep sleep.

Why do I have bad dreams about being unable to move?

To sleep … perchance to dream.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Not as Bad as It Seems (Seven of Pentacles and Moon)

Things are not as awful as they seem.

No, really, there’s nothing wrong with it.

No, the lost animal is not really dead.

Suppose we just let them be dead wrong?

I guess I’ll just put up with this shit.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Meditating on Questions (Four of Swords and Seven of Pentacles)

Meditating on the purpose of my seemingly lost life.

‘Where did I go wrong – or did I?’ – is my meditation.

I ponder deeply whether there was a wrong turn.

Can I quit the addiction?

How sick will I get if I go off the drug?

Meditating on whether life has a purpose, or is a waste.

Maybe you were wrong, but I’ll just let it be.

Wondering about it makes me feel bad, so I just don’t.

No, I’m not driving myself crazy wondering about things.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: When in Doubt, Don’t (Four of Swords and Seven of Pentacles)

In a bad situation, but I figure it’s best to not do anything.

I am withdrawing because of a feeling of dread.

Indecision and procrastinating are my biggest vices.

I get that ‘What if I’m wrong?’ feeling and don’t do whatever it is.

I feel like I’m lost but don’t know what to do about it.

When in doubt that it’s wrong, don’t do it.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: If It’s Wrong, Don’t Do It (Four of Swords and Moon)

Maybe I can not act-out my streak of perversion.

Are you still evil if you don’t act on it?

I didn’t do it, so how can I be the guilty party?

I think not doing anything about this is wrong.

He ponders the sin of omission.

If you think it’s wrong, then don’t do it.

I meditate on anything I might have done wrong.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: The Worst Night’s Sleep (Four of Swords and Moon)

Are you sleeping in a moldy place?

How can I sleep when I’m in such pain?

Sleeping this much, maybe you’re depressed?

Did I pass out drunk?

I guess I’ll just sleep off this drunk.

I think I got the worst night’s sleep ever.

You’re sick; maybe you should sleep.

Why not just sleep through the worst of it?

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Four of Swords – Seven of Pentacles – Moon

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………   In the center, we wonder, which could apply to anything. To the left and right are Tarot cards that in Rider Waite involve sleep. Moon, to the right, means wrong and nightmare, as well as sickness, addictions and perversions; Four of Swords to the left is to refrain from action or participation. Yes, we have stories.

………………………..   Four of Swords isn’t doing anything, which has a variety of applications. Procrastinating, being lazy, withdrawing, not having anything to do with (withdrawing), and failing to have done something (omission). And sleeping.

………..……………….     Four of Swords and Moon   Sleeping is featured in this spread because Four of Swords appears with Moon. Both are night scenes, and both have to do with sleep. Four of Swords is asleep, and Moon means dreams. Put Four of Swords next to Moon and you have dreams in sleep, sleeping off a drunk, sleeping when sick, the deep dream state, a bad night’s sleep, not getting enough sleep.

………..…………….     Four of Swords and Moon With Moon also meaning ‘wrong,’ Four of Swords gets together with it and talks about not doing wrong, as well as about it being wrong not to do something – the sin of omission, procrastinating, laziness.

………………………..   Seven of Pentacles   questions and ponders. Put him next to Four of Swords, which is meditation, particularly meditation on life’s purpose, and you have meditating on whether life has a purpose.

…….……………………  Seven of Pentacles and Moon   Seven of Pentacles gets together with Moon to ask whether it’s wrong, to ask where it went wrong, and even to suppose it’s wrong to wonder about it. These even dare suggest ‘Suppose we just let them be wrong.’ They could also mean things like: What, me be wrong?; I suppose I’m wrong; if I’m wrong; and maybe even ‘So what if I’m wrong.’

If it’s wrong, I guess I just won’t do it. I’m meditating on whether life has a purpose or is a waste. Sometimes dreams haunt me. If you didn’t do it, can you still be a guilty party? Maybe we’ll just let them be dead wrong. Maybe I should just put up with the shit. Wondering about it makes me feel bad, so I don’t. I ponder whether I made a wrong turn, and whether I can get off this drug. Maybe you were wrong, but I’ll just let it be. No! Don’t drive yourself crazy wondering about these things!

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Four of Swords ………   Four of Swords just lies there doing nothing. Amazing how many applications there are for doing nothing. Four of Swords can be about sleep and rest; can be about laziness and procrastination; can be about refraining from an activity; can be about being sidelined or ‘time out’ for contemplation and meditation. Sometimes it is about indifference, sometimes it is about time off. The picture of the fellow in a death pose on a coffin isn’t really about a death (although it is a support card for that, and it can be a coma); it is about a knight candidate meditating on his life purpose, as part of the ritual to become a knight.

.

Seven of Pentacles ………….   Seven of Pentacles is one of what I call the ‘Duh!’ cards. He leans on his shovel and wonders whether his plants will bear because he planted only a few gendered plants in his garden. So he wonders whether his labor will come to something, and he has doubt about the outcome. This is one of the cards whose meanings are few and plain.

.

Moon ……….  Moon is evil wicked mean and nasty, the dark side, the dank moldy swamp. It can even call up dirty language! People call it the worst card in the deck, but there are some I would happily put Moon in lieu of. The illustration is The Left-hand Path: That’s where it gets its reputation. Ace of Pentacles is The Right-hand Path. The two towers are symbols of evil, and Christians would call this Left-hand Path the road to hell. Coyotes consort with dogs (They are natural enemies) and a lobster (purple yet) is starting a land journey: chaos, disorder, insanity. Moon is ruined, warped, perverted, sick. Moon means ‘worst.’ It refers to pain and angst and all things morbid and miserable. I privately call it ‘maximum fuckedupness.’
