Queen of Wands – Queen of Wands is about household, personal affairs, private life – about all of these being in order, and being kept in order by The Woman. Queen of Wands is the Wife and Mother, and the manager of the business. She runs a tight ship, and is a no-nonsense plainspoken sensible even-tempered woman with ability and talent sufficient to her station in life.

Queen of Wands features the home. She often owns the home even as she owns the turf. So much so that sometimes Queen of Wands translates ‘home’ or ‘the house’ or even ‘at home’ or where (someone) lives. So much so that Queen of Wands is ‘the domestic country’ when your story is international.
Wheel of Fortune – Today Wheel of Fortune applies to the real-life physical world, the home front, and isn’t being its philosophical esoteric self. (So we won’t go into the four letters that mean Jehovah, or the Wheel of Fortune myth, or the otherworldly critters. Google ‘Wheel of Fortune Tarot Verbatim’ to get that information.)

In real life, Wheel of Fortune is the good luck card. We just adore seeing it appear with Nine of Cups. Its two most frequent translates are ‘wonderful’ and ‘happen’ and the variants of these words. It means ‘miracle.’ It applies to luck, destiny, fate, karma, being fortunate, hitting the jackpot, a payoff, having money to splurge. Its phrases often add ‘for the best’ or ‘the best.’

Wheel of Fortune is opportunity and grand opportunity, a chance, your big chance, and chance itself – meaning coincidence. ‘It just happened, and it’s great,’ Wheel of Fortune says.
Four of Pentacles – Shutdown. Stifle yourself. What’s this illustration, anyway? – You see a fellow sitting in the road with his back to the town in the distance, clutching his money and himself, staring into space all alone. The sky is as gray as the ground. This illustration gives rise to this sort of concept applied all kinds of ways. Elsewhere I have written more comprehensively about Four of Pentacles, but today his scope is narrow, so there’s no need to go into his whole story.

Today in particular, Four of Pentacles means five main things. First is being quiet: not admitting; stifling; keeping the mouth shut, keeping a secret.
