Tarot Readings for You for November 23-24, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

Nov 22, 2017 by

Today we have two romances to look at. The men have similar things to say in our Tarot report. One is unlikely to act upon his intentions and feelings, and one has the ‘intestinal fortitude’ to do as he says and feels. Together, the two suggest that a deep examination of a lover’s behavior is in order if you are serious about a long term or marital relationship.

.

You know you can Google any one card, or any pair of cards, and get the meanings from the archives of Tarot Verbatim™, if you have been here a few times. You see how consistent the meanings are, reading after reading, in the Tarot Verbatim method. This site gets 9,000 page views a day from people who come here to use those consistent meanings. With no promotion whatsoever. And now you have a chance to learn the system directly from Emily with Tarot Email Training. There’s the bar over there that says ‘Get Them Now.’

.

Are you wondering about something or another? For a very small price, you can delve into whatever it is with an illustrated email reading like the ones you see here. I have 800 pages of them, going back some years, and everyone is pleased with them.

.

Watch here for some new Tarot products and services besides the lessons, phone readings, email readings. Right now some good people are working up an app that delivers the Guidance paragraphs selected by the astrology of the day. That should be interesting. So stay tuned.

.

.

Question: My guy has emotional barriers due to past relationships. Will we eventually be able to be fully close and affectionate?

.

Judgment – King of Pentacles – Nine of Cups

The charismatic sexy man comes back because he wants to.

.

.

King of Swords – Nine of Wands – Strength

He is anxious as the big man about all the influence you have on him.

As The Manly Man, – King of Swords

he is anxious – Nine of Wands

about all the influence a woman has on him. – Strength

.

.

Eight of Pentacles – Four of Wands – Ace of Cups

He is making a close loving marital relationship.

What he is doing is making – Eight of Pentacles

a loving – Ace of Cups

couple, a home life. – Four of Wands

.

.

Ace of Swords – Ace of Wands – Empress

He must be the dominant man with the trophy woman.

He must be – Ace of Swords

the dominant male – Ace of Wands

with the most beautiful sexy woman. – Empress

.

.

Star – Ten of Cups – Two of Swords

He loves you, crazy about gorgeous you, but doesn’t want to marry.

He loves you, is crazy about beautiful you, – Star

but he just can’t do – Two of Swords

this Happily Ever After marriage thing. – Ten of Cups

.

.

Fool – Two of Cups – Five of Wands

He struggles to be free of the close love-bond.

He struggles – Five of Wands

to be free – Fool

of the bonds of love and sex. – Two of Cups

.

King of Pentacles is the sexy man. Empress is the sexy woman. Ace of Wands is sex. Star is ‘crazy about’ and ‘the shapely lady.’ Two of Cups is the grand sexual love affair. Two of Cups and Five of Wands say ‘sexual energy.’ He is resisting the true-love-and-marriage (Ace of Cups and Four of Wands) because the woman has such a strong influence on him (Strength).

.

Client Writes:

Hi Emily, thanks for the reading.

Do you get the feeling that he’ll never be able to commit or that this feeling that “He loves you, crazy about gorgeous you, but doesn’t want to marry” is forever?

Many thanks

.

.

Emily opines:

To me his profile is Peter Pan. I have known more than one such type fella who referred to himself as ‘The Kid.’ In today’s America, a dude does not have to grow up: He will still have the benefits of adulthood as an immature fledgling wet behind the ears. Such men, some of them, become really good companions, and commit, when they are in their seventies.

That’s Emily’s experience and Emily’s opinion, of course.

.

And since this is such a prototype description, may I use your reading as a post on the site if I need one. (They ‘buy time’ because they take far less time than the analytical 3-card spreads … and I’m working on several other Tarot projects, including the lessons, which REALLY take some time to create.

(By the way, the lessons are superb, and the book that comes with subscribing is worth at least the first month’s charge, if you do your own spreads.)

.

.

Client graciously responds:

Thanks Emily, yes of course, use the reading as you please.

Tarot Readings for You for November 22, 2017 Wednesday©

Nov 21, 2017 by

Oh, here we have the old story of the ‘dance-away lover,’ as Cosmopolitan magazine dubs it. Today’s readings for the lady in the story draw a profile consistent with, maybe, a fella who thinks of himself as ‘the Kid.’ There’s no doubt of the attraction, here!

.

You can have a reading done just like this one for whatever you might be wondering about. As you can see, it’s pretty clear. And you can Google any of the cards and demonstrate to yourself that we got ourselves a system here of meanings that work.

.

You can learn the method you see demonstrated here – yes, you can. Check out the story of Tarot Email Training at the ‘Get Them Now’ bar over there.  There’s some descriptions of what it’s all about there.

.

And watch for new Tarot products upcoming here. I’m working on a few with some good people who are a team.

.

Have yourself a really decent Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Emily

.

.

Knight of Swords – Knight of Cups – Ace of Swords

For sure, your boyfriend comes back.

For sure – Ace of Swords

your boyfriend – Knight of Cups

is coming back. – Knight of Swords

.

.

Sun – Queen of Wands – Fool

He left Mama’s house impulsively – no thought behind it.

He impulsively left the house and its rules – Sun

Mama’s house – Queen of Wands

without thinking at all. – Fool

.

.

Judgment – Three of Wands – Four of Pentacles

He isn’t saying a thing but he will be back.

He is keeping it a deep dark secret – Four of Pentacles

but he will – Three of Wands

be back (suddenly – big change, unexpectedly). – Judgment

.

.

Six of Swords – Chariot – Three of Cups

It’s all his choice to put his past behind and share your life with you.

It’s all his choice (He takes charge) – Chariot

to put his past behind and go ahead to – Six of Swords

share life and good times with The Girl. – Three of Cups

.

.

Four of Wands – Five of Pentacles – Two of Swords

You two are Family (like married): He can’t live without you.

You two are like married, like Family – Four of Wands

He can’t possibly – Two of Swords

live without you (misses you). – Five of Pentacles

.

.

Here’s your reading.

The main meanings of the cards are what is expressed, which means it’s likely to happen that way.
.
Client writes:
Thank you Emily! I’ve been doing readings for myself and have been getting the same cards, I’ve just been interpreting them in a grimmer light. It’s nice to have someone who can put it into clear sentences. This is very helpful.
.
Emily replies:
Yes, being aware of the lighter meanings for the heavier cards as they interface with others is something you learn with experience. .
Tarot Email Training shows you these things; lessons aren’t just about card meanings, at all.

Thank you for that endorsement. Would like to use your reading and your comment for a site post, if it’s okay with you.

.

Client writes:
Yes, please use my reading on your site. Just don’t use my real name. Ill take a look at the endorsement link.

.

Emily replies:
I especially like that you said ‘I get the same cards,’ because that is very common when I do readings for people who are using Tarot Verbatim™ for themselves.

.

Client writes:
Is it possible for the tarot to predict timing? Like when will he come back?
I’ve been getting the lovers, strength and magician for that question.

.

Emily replies:
“Put time in the question,” which turns it into a yes-or-no question. So not ‘When will’ but ‘Will it happen in the next (whatever, 3 months). OR ‘Will it happen while I still want it to?’

Briefly, Tarot is a data bank in mass conscious accessed via your subconscious. Time doesn’t exist wherever that is, and time is the movement of planets, which is irrelevant to ‘out there’s’ point of view or perception.
.
Lovers – Strength – Magician say You influence him to take initiative to be your love partner.  You influence him (Strength) to take initiative (Magician) to be your love partner (Lovers.

Emily

Tarot Readings for You for November 13-14, 2017 Monday-Tuesday©

Nov 12, 2017 by

Today we are doing an Email reading. Here we have someone who chooses not to identify gender, and the cards assume the person is male and potentially a family association.

.

You can go to the Email Reading tab and get a reading like this for something you wonder about. Right now I have a lot of Emil readings to do, so there’s a wait. Yes, they are a wonderful bargain, and more people are taking note of that.

.

As you probably know, you can research the meanings of each of these cards, or pairs of them, by typing the name or names into a Google search bar. Lots of people do this, around 9,000 page views a day now, just from the content you see here.

.

NEWS Next adventures at Tarot Verbatim™ are an app that randomly brings one of the many Guidances or Advices to you, and a service you can access when you are doing your own spread and are stuck or want more information about those three cards you chose. Emily will take your question, or issue, or subject, and the three cards you chose, and give you her answer or answers. That will be under six dollars, and of course may involve some wait because Emily is still just one person.

.

.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Friends and social situations

My question is:: I’ve called this person my best friend for 8 years now. I want to know, does this person even like me?

.

.

Emily remarks:

The instructions ask for gender. I will answer without it.

.

In English, ‘he’ is the default pronoun, and Tarot seems to go with that.

.

.

Question: Does this person even like me?

.

King of Cups – Magician – Three of Pentacles

Doing his part, his role, in the relationship as the wishy-washy fellow he is.

As the kinda fellow I really am (emotional), – King of Cups

I am doing (my way) – Magician

my part in the relationship we have. – Three of Pentacles

.

.

Sun – Ace of Swords – Page of Cups

A weird idea I gotta be free of the restrictions or rules.

A weird idea – Page of Cups

I gotta – Ace of Swords

be free of the house rules, those restrictions. I’m fun-loving. – Sun

.

.

King of Swords – Ten of Pentacles – Five of Cups

Fails to be a disciplined strong person/man, and messes up the relationship.

Fails to be – Five of Cups

a disciplined strong leader type – King of Swords

and makes trouble in our family-style relationship. – Ten of Pentacles

.

.

Queen of Swords – Eight of Pentacles – Four of Wands

She puts me to work being family with her.

She (the slave-driver) makes me – Queen of Swords

work at – Eight of Pentacles

being family (good family) with her. – Four of Wands

.

She expects me to always be a solid citizen.

She expects me – Queen of Swords

to always be – Eight of Pentacles

one of those solid citizens, and family. – Four of Wands

.

.

Strength – Six of Swords – Two of Pentacles

Some of the time I avoid her because she won’t let me mess with her (oppose her).

Sometimes I just – Two of Pentacles

avoid her (head in another direction) – Six of Swords

because she keeps me from interfering with her. – Strength

.

Her influence is so strong I stay out of her way when I’m being silly or unstable.

Her influence is so strong – Strength

I stay out of her way – Six of Swords

because I’m unstable, goofy. – Two of Pentacles

.

.

Emily Emails Client to ask:

.

So hello to you, and I have a favor to ask:  May I publish this reading of yours?  It expresses an attitude Tarot-style really well.

Emily

.

.

And Client simply replies:

Sure.

Tarot Readings for You for November 1, 2017 Wednesday©

Oct 31, 2017 by

Here it is Email Wednesday again, and I am bringing you two email readings.

.

First Email Reading:

We have a lass who seeks to end a stalemate regardless. Enough of this anteroom cooling-my-heels stuff, she is thinking: “Bring it on!” Fish or cut bait, as fishermen put it.

She writes: “The fellow and I didn’t end up going out. I am getting frustrated and I want to give up. What can I do to either release this or bring this into physical form? Is this going to even turn into a relationship? I have already sent my payment.”

.

.

.

Question: What can I do to either release this or bring this into physical form?

.

Devil – Eight of Pentacles – Four of Cups

It’s one after another rude behavior on his part, and you won’t put up with it.

You refuse to have anything to do with – Four of Cups

his constant – Eight of Pentacles

rudeness. – Devil

.

.

Three of Pentacles – Ace of Cups – Ace of Swords

Order him to do his part and cooperate in this love relationship.

You give an ultimatum that – Ace of Swords

he be loving, and cooperate – Ace of Cups

in this relationship. – Three of Pentacles

.

.

Page of Cups – Justice – Five of Swords

“Fool, how do you justify your low-class smart-ass behavior?”

“You are making an ass of yourself – Page of Cups

“jerking me around like this: – Five of Swords

“and I’m laying the law down here.” – Justice

.

.

Ten of Cups – Knight of Cups – Six of Swords

He either makes both of us happy as a boyfriend, or he leaves.

“Make both of us happy – Ten of Cups

“you being my boyfriend – Knight of Cups

“or you’re outta here.” – Six of Swords

.

.

King of Swords – Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Wands

Confront him with the trouble he causes in this relationship, and he’s responsible as a grown man.

Confront him with the fact – Seven of Wands

he is a responsible grownup – King of Swords

and look at the mess he makes of the relationship he is in. – Ten of Pentacles

.

.

Hierophant – Two of Swords – Eight of Wands

Tell him “Be decent or else.”

Tell him: – Eight of Wands

“Be decent – Hierophant

“or else.” – Two of Swords

.

His behavior is not decent in any way.

His behavior – Hierophant

is not – Two of Swords

decent – Hierophant

in any way. – Eight of Wands

.

.

This is logical. “Ship up or shape out,” as the old-timers would put it, is exactly the way you feel, and this is the best move to get him to do one or the other. It’s not just the words as you deliver them, but the passion in the tone of voice, that prompts him to act. The problem is, he may do both. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode.

.

.

Second Email Reading:

And here’s a woman who wants to know whether the romance will happen, whether she has a future with the fellow who interests her. It’s one of those long distance ones when it’s hard to tell, so she asks Tarot.

.

You can ask Tarot whenever there’s something you wonder about, and get a report illustrated like the one you see here. Look up at the navigation tab labeled Email Readings; it’s inexpensive.

.

Google any one, or any pair of the cards in her answers, and see in further detail how they say what they say here. Visitors do that to train themselves to have a two-way chat with Tarot.

.

.

Email Reading

The category of life is:: Love

My question is:: I am currently in a long-distance relationship and I am wondering if anything will come of it in the future ... Will we have a successful romantic relationship?

.

Knight of Cups – Five of Swords – Ten of Cups

Bad boy is being your sweet guy, like a happy marriage.

Bad boy – Five of Swords

is being your sweet guy – Knight of Cups

Ike a good marriage (we have a lot in common). – Ten of Cups

.

.

.Knight of Swords – Ten of Pentacles – Seven of Wands

He switches to resisting that marriage as trouble for him.

He switches – Knight of Swords

to resisting – Seven of Wands

that marriage as troubled (trouble for him). – Ten of Pentacles

.

.

Judgment – Lovers – Two of Swords

He announces you two are partners in love, then shuts down.

He formally declares that – Judgment

you two are partners in love, are a couple – Lovers

then denies it, shuts down: No! – Two of Swords

.

.

King of Wands – Page of Cups – Justice

Being your legal husband? (“Should I be a married man?”)

Should I be – Page of Cups

a married man, – King of Wands

your legal – Justice

husband? – King of Wands

.

.

Seven of Swords – Knight of Wands – Seven of Cups

He flees from that peril, and things are ‘up in the air.’

He flees from – Knight of Wands

that peril – Seven of Swords

and things fall apart, are up in the air. – Seven of Cups

.

.

Hierophant – Six of Swords – Queen of Wands

He drifts toward committing to you as his wife.

He drifts away from that, and toward – Six of Swords

committing to – Hierophant

you as his wife. – Queen of Wands

.

.

This describes the phases of romance that Cosmo years ago dubbed ‘the dance-away lover.’ Off and on. And the longer that continues, the more he wears down and commits. You named ‘the future’ as the time in your question, so that’s what this covers. Outside interests as distractions that make this relationship less important will come in handy if you decide to stick with this romantic story.

.

You can Google any one, or any pair, of these cards and get more information about these – but this story is pretty straightforward.

Client emails Emily:

Thank You Emily! I have read many of your posts and I like your interpretations which is why I asked for a reading. Yes, you may use this if you would like.

Also, I am aware that this man has some commitment issues. According to our astrological charts and numerology charts, he is a Soulmate so the going back and forth sounds pretty accurate.

Out of curiosity, can you give me a time-frame on this? I know that I didn’t specify when I asked the question, but I have been told that Tarot readings don’t generally go too far into the future.

Lastly, if I have additional questions can I call to have them answered?

Thank You SO Much,

.

.

Emily replies:

rule of thumb is 3 months, unspecified, but that’s next to useless.

Let me explain why Tarot (and other divinations) don’t tell time. The story line is in one place, and it’s about interactions and existing situations, and what grows out of that.

Time is the movement of celestial bodies. The two, from ‘out there’s’ perspective, are unrelated. It’s like I’m telling you a story and you ask ‘Was the moon balsamic then?’ Irrelevant.

Another factor readers miss (partly out of choice) is that if you ask what is best for you to do, and you don’t do that, the time prediction isn’t applicable.

In this particular case, we have a back-and-forth cycle which creates a ‘yes’ over and over that is revoked over and over: where does it stop?

Advice: Push the clutch in, and disconnect that racing motor from the where the rubber meets the road. If you think of it that way, it helps.

Thank you for the permission. Does it also embrace our chat here, which enriches the reader’s experience of the post?

Client responds to Emily:

Emily,

Thank You again for the reading and for your quick response. I believe I understand what you are saying. The reason I asked about timing, is because I wasn’t aware of all of the aspects here. He hasn’t expressed much about his feelings so I was a little surprised that marriage had even come up in the reading.

If I understand correctly, you are saying that I should put my foot down and not accept the wishy-washy behavior. Is that the correct assumption based on the car analogy?

He had mentioned living together a couple of times but we never seriously discussed it. Interesting …

Yes, you can use the conversation to enhance the post.

Emily responds:

Thank you again for the kind permission.

Yes. ‘Where do you stand?’ is a fair question.

.

The mention of marriage is not so much any intent to settle down on his part as it is a validation that, yes, he is serious, and it’s what he fears … that slippery slope

High Priestess A complex card, one of the occult or esoteric ones. She is surrounded by Kabbalah paraphernalia, even wears the crown of Egyptian royalty. In short, the fact this is the number two card of the Major Arcanae makes this the female card, not doing anything but knowing. (Being the number one card of the Major Arcanae gives Magician the opposite meanings and makes him the male card, the one who takes initiative and acts.) High Priestess represents the spiritual plane – thus spirituality. Magician represents the physical plane. The spiritual plane controls the physical in some sense, so High Priestess is the power behind the throne. And these concepts help us ‘get’ the core meanings of these two cards, so we can apply them more flexibly.

.

In real life Tarot practice, this is the lady, the passive party, a person who does not act, who stays put, who knows all and knows secret(s), the expert, a data bank, and even the Tarot deck, the book in her lap. Sometimes High Priestess represents the mental plane. The book in her lap can say ‘bookkeeper.’

.

High Priestess can translate ‘behind the scene.’ So she is the behind-the-scenes person – which stretches to being ‘the other woman.’ Yes, ‘the other woman’ is an odd meaning, but High Priestess regularly shows up for that. Besides being quietly behind something, she is alone by herself, associated with secrets, and waiting without taking initiative herself.

.

High Priestess is very much associated not only with being quiet, but with peace-and-quiet itself. The quiet lady. Privacy. Patience. The sedentary life. Being receptive. A desk job, a secretary.

.

Rare and odd meanings for High Priestess: Occasionally, if the story involves a person in a wheelchair, High Priestess will show up for that – and Chariot may too. The pictures themselves bring that about. Another rare meaning you may find is a person in some way associated with the moon, because she has the moon at her feet. Today we have the phrase ‘passive-aggressive’ with High Priestess and Ace of Swords.

.

This is a quote from another blog post, but it succinctly reviews High Priestess Meanings, so I drop it in here: “In real life, this Rider Waite Tarot card means lady, ladylike, quiet woman, keeping quiet, she knows, she knows and isn’t acting on it, she knows and isn’t divulging, a secret, the other woman, feminine, sedentary, passive, knowing the unknown or the secret, expert, the spiritual plane, spiritual, the mental plane or mental, book, bookkeeper, unassertive or passive, to know about.”

Ace of Swords How many times have you heard someone say ‘He aced it.”? Ace of Swords is about that kind of stellar accomplishment. The illustration screams winning and victory, what with the crown on the sword which is itself crowned with the traditional laurel leaves of victory. Ace of Swords goes beyond that: It means totally. All one way, no compromise, no gray zone, no ifs, ands, or buts. It’s total victory for one side, total defeat for the other. And it’s a challenge.

.

Ace of Swords is also about the drive to achieve or accomplish. Must. Got to. The will to do, no matter what. Those are very common Ace of Swords words. It means ‘orders’ and it means ‘ultimatum.’

.

Of course, Ace of Swords is about force, about threat: It’s a weapon being displayed, after all. It translates assertive, abusive, and aggressive. It is all about power, dominance and dominating, being The Boss. It means to oppose, and it also represents the opposition you face.

.

To overcome is very Ace of Swords, whether it’s overcoming the opposition or overcoming a challenge, or some kind of personal internal overcoming.

King of Wands Well here’s your common man. Got some street in him, as Cher would say. Every group is known by its least members, so it falls to King of Wands to be the lout, to be Archie Bunker, to represent men who have little or no class. He is rash, hotheaded, has a temper, is angry and mouthy, a ruffian at times. Edgy. But its guys like Seven of Swords and Knight of Pentacles who are the deliberate punks. King of Wands is the Country Boy, the good old boy; and he is the workingman, working with his hands (associated with Eight of Pentacles). King of Wands is what some Christians call ‘the natural man,’ a derogatory title.

.

This is the uninhibited and impulsive man: Watch those words come right up to him. And here is where his meanings take a turn: King of Wands is the passionate man. Romantically and in other ways too. He can also be the maverick, the guy who does what other guys only think of doing. You tend to stereotype this Tarot card as lower middle class, but the impulsive uninhibited maverick side of King of Wands can be a rash stockbroker, lawyer, or businessman. Just think Donald Trump.

.

King of Wands is the main card for husband and married man, mainly because Queen of Wands is the domestic engineer who runs and organizes the household or the business – the Wife. So King of Wands translates ‘married man’ just as Queen of Wands often says ‘married woman.’ Watch for King of Wands to pop up in a story about dating to imply the dude is married.

.. …..       ….

.

Lots of material for stories here, especially about domination between a woman ( ladylike, most likely, with High Priestess, or wise – or even the other woman’) and a man ( Archie Bunker: the common man, the passionate man, the husband, or the loutish ill-tempered type).

.

Ace of Swords is the domination of course, and it leaves no room for compromise: It’s all one way, whatever it is – often, total defeat paired with total victory. “ All or nothing at all” is Ace of Swords’ song. Getting the best of (whatever). Ace of Swords is aggression, assertiveness, getting control of, clash, willpower, mastery, overcoming. It also translates ‘ certain’ and ‘ absolute’ or ‘ absolutely.’ Ace of Swords means ‘ must’ or ‘ got to’ and also is victory or achievement.

.

Ace of Swords is ‘ acing it.’ Achieving something definitive, something major.

.

Anything that threatening, or anything with supreme power, is not likely to be challenged, so Ace of Swords (like its counterpart Ace of Wands) is to be Number One. But remember: Ace of Swords also represents the challenge itself.

.

Ace of Swords and High Priestess: Ace of Swords is assertive or aggressive; High Priestess is passive. Together they can describe a quiet lady with an iron will who makes people do (whatever). We have all met quiet tyrant females. Since ‘the action can go both ways’ in Tarot, Ace of Swords and High Priestess also describe the lady being intimidated, being forced into passivity (or whatever the story is). Today Ace of Swords and High Priestess say passive- aggressive. Remember that, because it happens every once in a while.

.

High Priestess and King of Wands are story material: the quiet little lady and her loudmouth lout, or the passive woman with the aggressive husband. Here we have Archie Bunker and Guinevere, a beauty-and the-beast pair. Here we also have the husband with the other woman, or the lady’s man being a married man.

.

Ace of Swords and King of Wands make stories about an edgy ill-tempered combative guy and the combat. Could be putting the upstart in his place decisively. Could be the man with a bad temper threatening someone or something. It could be even the passionate man’s challenge (that quiet little lady, maybe, who is his roommate in this spread?). Could be the abusive husband, since Ace of Swords can be ‘ abusive,’ of course. Could also be the victory of the proletariat, the common man. Could be a man is very angry about being forced or ordered around, or about being prohibited or opposed in some way.

.

Like I said, we have stories with these three cards.
