Our Daily Spread for January 19, 2012©

Advice  There’s a level of life experience, and there’s a level of spiritual expertise, that makes trouble avoid you.   Your instincts direct you away from the charming and the reckless as the muggers’ instincts direct them away from you.   When you have the perfect comeback, no one makes the remark any more.   When you have handled and overcome the conflict and chaos within your personality, the conflict and chaos without subside remarkably.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice (above ) which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Group Analytical Tarot Reading below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out and decide whether to encourage or suppress them.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Hermit

Sun – Strength – Eight of Cups

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT READING

Control my Wild Impulses (Sun + Strength)

When I am wise enough to supervise my reckless uninhibited impulses and nip them in the bud …

I did not look where I was going, and someone put a stop to my fun.

Wisdom comes swiftly on the heels of risk-taking as I get things under control.

Seeing things as they are prevents some fun but I do have a grip.

Looking for a quick way out or I will have to put an end to the playboy’s fun.

Can see this isn’t going to be a fun outing, and I put a lid on it.

Leaving this party early, I can see, is a preventive measure.

Seeking to control my own wild impulses before I take a detour.

Learning to quit being impulsive and take charge of the situation.

Just Do It Yourself (Sun + Strength)

The way you learn to do it is: One day you just do it.

Found another way, just did it myself on the spur of the moment.

I can see how it is done so I jump the gun and just do it without forethought.

Premature child goes to physician but mother does the hand-on care.

The doctor is out so mother treats the child.

Mother does it herself, no pediatrician (baby doctor) for her.

Mama Doesn’t Allow the Kid (Sun + Strength)

Mama don’t allow the kid to go out lookin’ at night.

She knows instinctively how to make the child quit doing that.

I lay my hands on the brat when he ducks out and I go out hunting for him.

She puts an end to his childish escapade as he looks for a quick way out.

She makes it very clear there will be no children.

What she does to prevent children has failed: Examining the situation.

No more babies; she goes to the doctor to prevent that.

Looking/Searching for a Way (Hermit + Eight of Cups)

I look for ways to prevent self-control and be spontaneous.

Night search for a brat who ran away before mama could discipline him.

Mugger takes one look at (her) and goes the other way: She was going to enjoy meeting up with him!

Search for someone who ran off the road driving recklessly, to fix him/her up.

Searching for a way she can have children; she miscarries.

Other

Preventive medical care isn’t happening for babies

The doctor dropped everything to handle this baby.

Take one look at this maverick handle him by walking the other way.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day.  (3-6-9-12 like a clock.  It makes a pattern on the phone as well –  easy to remember.)   I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives.  You enjoy it.  (Testimonials are on the web site.  https://EmilysInsight.com.)

Hermit

Sun – Strength – Eight of Cups

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Sun and Eight of Cups are both leaving abruptly – very different stories (Sun, impulsively ducks out of the house for a little fun, recklessly; Eight of Cups, a detour or change of direction on a trip, probably for good reason or cause).

Next thing is that in both Strength and Eight of Cups something isn’t going to happen. In Strength, it’s deliberate prevention; in Eight of Cups it’s a detour.

Next is all the cards are outdoors and three of the four are traveling. Sun is just in the back yard; Eight of Cups is on a pilgrimage; Hermit is out on the road looking for travelers in distress.

Both Strength and Hermit have spiritual overtones and are people of self-control and considerable life experience. Strength overcomes (including his/her own weaknesses) and Hermit is the celibate and patient monk. (Make that ‘monogamous man’ these days.)

Sun is a child and Strength is discipline. Hermit is on the road and Eight of Cups is a going out of his way. Sun is a dumb kid and Hermit is a wise old man.

LEARN TAROT BY THE PICTURES

Sun Baby boy has snuck out of the house, against the rules, and is having a great time nude on the wicked pony. Whee, this is fun: He even carries a huge banner in his left little hand. He is obviously oblivious to what the pony is about to do; he is having fun in the sun like a playboy who never heard of child support. Color him a drunken driver or bungee cord jumper.

Reckless, spontaneous, uninhibited, impulsive, brat, child, childish, childish escapade, playboy, leave the house, outing, fun, sunshine, daytime, vacation.

Strength An experienced combatant knows the moves instinctively and is confident about handling yet another martial exercise. This confidence telegraphs itself to would-be attackers. The same is true of social conflict and spiritual conflict. Bullies of any level or department of existence have a sense of smell and they are cowards. They are often friendly to people or entities they even suspect can handle them. Professional courtesy.

Strength exemplifies the concept that when you know how to handle it, it does not present itself. When you have the perfect comeback, no one says that to you anymore, drat it.

Eight of Cups To go the other way. To detour or go another way. To leave early, drop out, quit, change the way, depart from the way (run off the road), to change direction. It’s over before it begins. Abandon or abandoned.

Illustration is a traveler who is forced by the terrain to change direction.

Hermit Out looking, hunting or searching for. Take a look. Looking where you are going. Travel, night travel. Seeing things as they are. You can see. Seeking, learning, and wise or wisdom. A paramedic, physician, doctor or healer of any kind. To be on the path, be spiritual or be sincerely religious (any religion).

Illustration is a monk searching for people to give aid to at night. He carries a lantern which can stand for enlightenment.

Tarot Readings for You for May 13-14, 2020 Wednesday-Thursday©

It’s not always a person you fall in love with. Wild enthusiasm can focus on a thing, an idea, a feeling, an activity, a movement, an ambition, and even oneself – and this focus can be just as extra-rational as love. The love bug is only one of many other bugs, but he gets all the publicity, all the press, most of the attention. Myself, I have been smitten by a few of these, and mostly recovered before it was over. How about you? Are you infecting anyone these days?
