Tarot Readings for You for March 17, 2014 Monday©

Guidance         Today we investigate making good money legitimately.   Take creative advantage of the lay of the land and keep your mind on the physical scene where it intersects your talents and your interests, because money is made on terra firma (solid ground).   Whatever your goal is, put your energy and intention there.    If your goal is finding Mr. or Mrs. Right, the strategy is similar.   Things happen for the best in love and in finance when you make sure you are okay with yourself.   Focus first on a chance to make the best of what already is. Being decent for its own sake is a reward in itself.

Tarot Readings: Honest Money (Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles)

With luck, I aim to have enough cash.

Look for financial opportunity in established ways.

A normal ability to concentrate can make wealth happen.

Being a risk taker who looks only at what’s real, you succeed.

He knows the rules: You get the money when you make things happen.

Money happens to people who are paying attention in the real world.

It happens for sure: You pass with a high score.

A chance for success by ordinary means is uniquely yours.

His strong physical body is the key to his success.

Look straight; be straight; focus on things happening the best way.

Visualize a chance-of-a-lifetime; be perfectly okay when you get it.

Tarot Readings: Things Happen for the Best (Ace of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune)

Things happen for the best when you make sure you are okay with yourself.

Funding is the number one way to make things physically happen .

What a modest sum of money it takes for this one miracle to happen.

Focus first on opportunities to make the best of what is.

Being decent for its own sake is reward enough.

This miracle belongs uniquely to you; it’s got your name written on it.

I am looking, but I chance upon the proper road by luck.

He makes sure an uneventful road trip happens.

Wonderful, safe place is all mine.

He keeps his eye on what happens in church that could benefit him.

Major good luck with money for a stubborn fellow who behaves himself.

Perfect Commitment (Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles)

On his mind is a wonderful ring to show his commitment.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Hierophant The illustration of the pope with monks kneeling refers to official ritual, the public face, the historical narrative they teach you when you’re in school:  Things that are legitimate, acceptable, considered respectable.  Hierophant means ordinary, mundane, physical, and official, including officially in your name, as a title, say. It also means benefit without harm, harmless and honest.  Things are definitely kosher and legal and above-board (no matter how filthy they actually are).

Ace of Pentacles Being on the straight and narrow makes you rich. That’s a very Protestant idea.  The hand with gold in it over the straight and narrow (gold) path that begins with lilies for purity and ends in a rose trellis for victory gives rise to the meanings of ‘right’ and ‘correct’ as well as anything financially sound. Cash in hand, it says, ever so clearly.

Wheel of Fortune You hit the jackpot.  What a stroke of luck.  Karma and destiny join in.  On a deeper level is the idea that randomness has intention, and all sorts of entities with books out there are having their two cents in what happens where we live.  The (Hebrew) Name of God is in the center of the circle that looks like a roulette wheel.  So is TARO and ROTA.  The red lizard is demonic  (Edgar Rice Burroughs).  Not sure about the sexy blue sphinx.  This Rider Waite Tarot card often means  ‘It happens’  or happening.

Knight of Pentacles is a stereotype: The short and sturdy, maybe loud and pushy tough guy, ‘muscle.’  He can also be a self-interested boyfriend. You see him stare at the pentacle: He is about focus or even obsession.  This Rider Waite Tarot card refers sometimes to concentration, to knowing one thing or having one thing in mind.  Sometimes, he is the guy who has only one girl in mind.

.

Men. Success and money. Children and romance and home sweet home. Is there anything else? – we have it all right here.

Ace of Pentacles and Knight of Pentacles talk about the top, the most important, about having a goal and achievement. Ace of Pentacles means success, the best, high dollar, and being on track. Knight of Pentacles means to focus with all your might on one priority, and to have an ambitious goal. Ace of Pentacles is more the subject, and Knight of Pentacles is more the person – usually male. (Knight of Pentacles often comes up for a black animal too: See that horse?)

Magician and Knight of Pentacles have a very strong male energy to them. These guys are doing something, are engaged in a project of their own. Magician means he does it, he brings it about. Knight of Pentacles means this is his only or main interest,  his top priority that he is riveted upon.

Ace of Pentacles Success, money, top dollar, the right way, the best, to give, to receive, to possess. This is a great design. I chose it for my book cover. It shows the ‘right path’ or ‘right hand path’ with lilies afore and roses afoot, a hand with gold suspended over the path. It links spiritual and financial success, obviously.

Six of Cups stylized quaint little boy gives little girl flowers in front of a quaint old estate building or apartment complex. The good old days. Kids. Sweet love. The good life. Romance. A gift, giving or receiving.

Magician The male principle is action, and that is what this Rider Waite Tarot card stands for. Conjugate the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make’ and put ‘he’ in front of them, and you have most of its meanings. The illustration shows a male magician with the tools of the trade creating an event.

Knight of Pentacles aims to get it done. His attention is riveted upon the priority. He is a rough tough guy, the stereotype being the short dark fella with a lot of energy who is focused on his one interest. Driven. Determined. His horse, in the illustration, is just like him. I love it.

Tarot Readings for You for November 6, 2013 Wednesday©

Guidance parallels having the right idea financially and succeeding with having the right path in life and succeeding.  Tarot frequently parallels love relationships and business deals. These messages parallel spirituality and finances. Focus is key to success in both spiritual and financial life, we are saying. The reward is a sure thing to those who are right – the reward being a new lease on spiritual life and/or financial life. Say what is on your mind that you are entitled to be paid.

Tarot Readings: You Got the Right Idea (Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles)

There’s a sudden shift in what you think about:  You should go with it!

Refocus on only the right and reputable things.

The best way to have a new lease on life is to be mindful of daily reality.

All of a sudden you know one thing for sure: You’ve got this right, by golly.

Yes, you have the right idea about what turns things around for you to succeed.

You know for sure you are on the right track when suddenly things go the way they ought to.

You are right, you know you are right, now you should say so.

He clearly states that this is the one idea he is certain is correct.

Tarot Readings: Get the Reward You Are Entitled to (Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles)

You are the one entitled to the promotion and raise.

What you say is so right-on that you are the one who is rewarded.

You are looking at a promotion and the pay grade that goes with it.

There’s an official notice offering it (to you) for sure.

Worldly success comes quickly when that is all you put your energy into.

The right regimen restores his vigor or strength.

You are looking at finances going back to normal.

Say what is on your mind that you are entitled to be paid.

Concentrate on the physical part of your number one priority to make a quick change.

You should refocus just on your own path.

Tarot Readings: Money Judgment (Ace of Pentacles and Judgment)

The judgment says you are officially entitled to the award on the main issue.

The money judgment that is officially published is emphatic and clear.

A document says one thing clearly: You get the money.

He says in his decision one thing is certain:  You are entitled to be paid.

Tarot Readings: Focus is on Money (Ace of Pentacles and Knight of Pentacles)

You should focus solely on money to change your situation.

All of a sudden you know one thing that will make money for sure, and you’re right.

Re-monetizing is the right thing to focus on.

Make sure this money they are talking about is clean.

Make sure this is the one with the good reputation that will give the money back like they say.

Tarot Readings: Idea About Religion (Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles)

You get a new idea about religion that is correct.

Refocus on what is accepted as the right way.

The main ideas we accept, we say are the right way.

Believes he has discovered the one right religion.

A religious person believes what he is officially told is right.

A religious person concentrates on revelation of the right path.

When he speaks ex cathedra, what the pope says is correct.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Knight of Pentacles

Hierophant – Ace of Pentacles – Judgment

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Both Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles mean ‘right.’ Hierophant means what everybody accepts – the usual surface aspect, official reality, ‘the way things are.’ Hierophant is ‘pope.’ Ace of Pentacles shows ‘the right path’ and means ‘right’ very often. Both these cards will translate ‘correct’ at times. On the other hand, Hierophant is mundane reality, physical life, and Ace of Pentacles means financial success often, so Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles say ‘worldly success.’ This is where our twin themes of spiritual success and money success come from. Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles also say finances are normal or ‘enough money’ or even ‘the usual price,’ which would probably refer to retail price. Hierophant means ‘entitled,’ So these two cards say ‘entitled to the award’ or ‘entitled to the money.’

Judgment is to speak or make a big announcement. Knight of Pentacles is to know one thing for sure. Together, Judgment and Knight of Pentacles are about telling people what you know, saying what is on your mind, publishing your view(s).

With Judgment meaning ‘returning to a former state’ and Knight of Pentacles being a sturdy, vigorous man, Judgment and Knight of Pentacles say ‘restores his vigor or strength.’

Now, going back to the first and main meanings we gave for these pairs:

When you add Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles to Judgment and Knight of Pentacles, you get: openly speaking up for what you know to be right. That is one of our themes.

Now for the religion theme:

We have the pope (Hierophant), then the right path (Ace of Pentacles), then an angel (Judgment) – the angel that announces the resurrection. Obviously, this is about religion. These three Rider Waite Tarot cards are followed by Knight of Pentacles, who is focused on one belief, thing or priority. Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles say ‘the right religion.’ Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles describe belief in one religion. They also describe someone who is convinced what he thinks is right, since Hierophant, of course, also means ‘correct, right, and accepted.’ Can you see ‘the usual viewpoint’ is Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles?

Hierophant and Judgment are a religious revelation or discovery, or religion changing one’s life – and also to return to religion, since Judgment means to return to a former state (i.e., resurrect). These two Tarot cards also translate ‘say the right words,’ what you say is so right-on,’ and ‘return to normal.’ With Hierophant meaning an official paper or certificate, when you add Judgment, you have a document that officially says something – a legal document, especially a decree, judgment or even verdict.

.

Now for the lawsuit theme:

We have ‘entitled’ in Hierophant (pope), money in Ace of Pentacles, a court judgment in Judgment – followed by Knight of Pentacles, who has one thing –  the decision – in mind. This is easily about a lawsuit.

.

Hierophant shows the public face of a religion, distinguishing what is presented to the public from whatever else – so Hierophant is about ‘face.’ It is about surface appearances – good behavior as perhaps distinguished from a good heart; morality as perhaps distinguished from decency; reputation as distinguished from character; the ritual as distinguished from the concept behind it. It means the official story we present our public about who we are, and the official story governments and businesses present to their public (us) about who and what they are. It refers to a decent, harmless, normal person. It is about the usual routine, the daily protocols. As ‘official,’ it is about documents and certificates and ‘papers.’ Hierophant also means ‘entitled’ as part of its ‘rightful’ meanings. It translates ‘should’ often.

Ace of Pentacles The illustration shows ‘the right path,’ straight and narrow as we would expect, and suggests a reward for being on it. Being right and being successful go hand in hand, Ace of Pentacles says: Lilies in the front for purity and a victory trellis of roses at the end; the path is golden and the hand over it has a gold coin. It means success and money, and will translate as ‘correct’ and as ‘financial.’

Judgment shows the resurrection angel making its Big Announcement, and people coming to new life as a result. Often, it means ‘again’ and ‘the second time.’ Its other meanings are publicity and announcement, the decision of a court or jury in a lawsuit (because of the word ‘judgment’), a shift or change, sudden or suddenly, revelation, discovery, surprise or alarm. Judgment is one of the cards that means ‘return’ because the bodies are returning to their former state: being alive. To restore, revive, review … many words beginning in ‘re’ that infer ‘again.’ Yes, it means ‘again’ often, too.

Knight of Pentacles depicts the man with one thing on his mind.  He is sure.  He has decided.  His attention and energy are concentrated and focused on one thing – often his ambition.  He is obsessed, sometimes in a bad way.  He is a physical man, often a strong man, even a punk. Put him next to a female card, and the likely meaning is ‘He has eyes only for her.’

Our Daily Spread for November 6, 2011 Sunday ©

Advice parallels having the right idea financially and succeeding with having the right path in life and succeeding.  Tarot frequently parallels spirituality and finances.  Focus is key to this spiritual and/or financial success;  and the reward is a sure thing to those who are right –  the reward being a new lease on life (spiritually and/or financially).  Say what is on your mind that you are entitled to be paid.

(At the time of production,  there’s no way to correct the lack of spaces after punctuation.  I am writing around it now!)\

=========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It  is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Knight of Pentacles

Hierophant –  Ace of Pentacles –  Judgment

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

These are interesting.  Both Hierophant (the pope) and Ace of Pentacles mean  ‘right.’  Judgment is to speak or make a big announcement.  Knight of Pentacles is to know one thing for sure.  This is about openly speaking up for what you know to be right.

We have the pope,  then the right path (Ace of Pentacles),  then an angel in Judgment (the one that announces a resurrection) followed by the Knight of Pentacles idea of   ‘one thing in mind.’ This is easily a story about religion.

We have  ‘entitled’  in the Hierophant (pope),  money in Ace of Pentacles,  and the idea of a court judgment in Judgment –  followed by Knight of Pentacles,  who has one thing –  the decision –  in mind.  This is easily about a lawsuit.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Hierophant shows the public face of a religion,  distinguishing what is enacted for the public from whatever else:  the ritual as opposed to the actual concept or teaching.  It means the official story,  the good behavior (perhaps as distinguished from the good heart),  morality (perhaps as distinguished from actual decency).  It is reputation.

Ace of Pentacles suggests a reward for being on the  ‘right path.’  Being right and being successful go hand in hand.  Lilies in the front for purity and a victory trellis of roses at the end;  the path is golden and the hand over it has a gold coin.

Judgment shows the resurrection angel making its Big Announcement,  and people coming to new life as a result.  Its meanings are publicity and announcement,  the decision of a court or jury in a lawsuit (because of the word  ‘judgment’),  a shift or change,  sudden or suddenly,  shift,  revelation.

Knight of Pentacles depicts the man with one thing on his mind.  He is sure.  He has decided.  He attention and energy is focused,  and focused on one thing –  often his ambition.  He is obsessed,  sometimes in a bad way.  He is a physical man,  often a strong man,  even a punk.
