Tarot Readings:  Things as They Should Be (Justice)

Tarot Readings:  What’s Fair, Being Sane(Justice)

Tarot Readings:  Focus, Obsession, Priorities (Knight of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings:  The Future, Having a Plan (Two of Wands)

Tarot Readings:  Financial Security, (Two of Wands)

Tarot Readings:  Lawsuit (Justice)

Tarot Readings:  Things as They Should Be (Justice)

I will not always know what I should.

He aims to get it done right or not at all.

Focus mainly on things as they should be, rather than on what is ahead.

A man should be tough; it’s not just about having money.

Things are going to be the way they should be if it’s the last and only thing I do.

Our focus is on how things should be, and what isn’t going to be that way.

Things are not going to be as certain as they should.

There’s no one sure way to have the future we should have.

Tarot Readings:  What’s Fair, Being Sane(Justice)

He will be fair, and not serve his own interest.

There’s no one sure way to be sane.

Hey, I am not even considering life being sane or secure.

The future isn’t going to be fair, that’s for sure.

Tough guy will not intend to do right by you.

You will not always know correctly.

Life isn’t fair:  That’s one sure thing.

Tarot Readings:  Focus, Obsession, Priorities (Knight of Pentacles)

It’s okay to be obsessed, just not all the time.

He feels he should put and end to it, and he aims to do just that.

Going to straighten something out if it’s the last and only thing I get done.

I don’t let myself obsess about what my future should be.

Tarot Readings:  The Future, Having a Plan (Two of Wands)

First, (we) should have a plan, and (we) don’t.

I should not be obsessed about what’s going to happen.

A man should have a strong body, or there’s no future for him.

The lawsuit is in the planning stages, it is not first priority now.

Tarot Readings:  Financial Security, (Two of Wands)

I am entitled to financial security, and I know for sure that I don’t.

He/She is entitled to financial security, and that’s the one thing he/she doesn’t have.

Looking at it from only a financial standpoint isn’t the right way at all.

A person is unbalanced who thinks only of finances.

It’s not right to think only of how much money is in it for you.

Tarot Readings:  Lawsuit (Justice)

The lawsuit is in the planning stages, it is not first priority now.

Keep in mind that a lawsuit isn’t a sure thing.

He intends to sue the bank before this is over.

.

Today’s four Rider Waite citizens have nothing in common, so they are simply elements in stories and observations.

Justice in this spread uses its ‘should’ and fairness meanings, with a sprinkle of ‘sanity’ and a tad of lawsuits.

Knight of Pentacles is his usual tough- or rough- guy self, and he focuses upon or is obsessed about some things here that he aims to … either put an end to (Death) or make it right (Justice).

Two of Wands is a plan, the future, financial security, finances in general, and an overview of things.  Its meaning is trimmed back in its present company

Then there’s our negative modifier, Death.  That is most of what it does in Tarot Verbatim(TM), where it seldom means some things other decks bequeath it.  It puts and end to things and adds words like: no, never, not, don’t, won’t, isn’t, and so on.  Today it creates fewer contradictions than usual.

Justice in this spread uses its ‘should’ and fairness meanings, with a sprinkle of ‘sanity’ and a tad of lawsuits.  This is one of the most attractive Rider Waite illustrations.  The red robe, the purple wall hanging behind it, the scales .. imagine it in stained glass.

Knight of Pentacles is his usual tough- or rough- guy self, and he focuses upon or is obsessed about some things here that he aims to … either put an end to (Death) or make it right (Justice).  He is a short sturdy muscular intense dude, and so is the horse he rides in on.

Two of Wands is a plan, the future, financial security, finances in general, and an overview of things.  Other meanings are eclipsed today.  You see a banker atop his parapet patio, surveying his real estate empire with plans to make more profit.  He has the world in his hands.

Here’s our negative modifier, Death.  That is most of what it does in Tarot Verbatim(TM), where it seldom means some things other decks bequeath it.  It puts and end to things and adds words like: no, never, not, don’t, won’t, isn’t, and so on.  Today it creates fewer contradictions than usual.

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions?– If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on thefour cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can addressall the people at work who have a say in my raise,’for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a questionto focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a questionalso the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel veryfree to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combinedfour pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. This is the meaning of each separate card. This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

Our Daily Spread for July 5, 2011

Advice is about the kind of balance that involves using the factors that are for you and the factors that are against you to serve your purpose and fuel your achievement of your goal (‘Tacking against the wind’ in maritime). Two of the four Rider Waite tarot cards involve this subject. Two of them also say this kind of achievement is not just about physical but about ‘out there’ (spiritual) expertise and skill. ===================================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. Comment or call if you have a suggestion for a question.

(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

==================================================================== High Priestess Death, Knight of Pentacles, Chariot DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. Death-High Priestess Perspective He is obsessed with cars, not with women. She is not waiting for the guy, his success is his only interest in life. She is no lady, she is going to be on top by any means. Death-Chariot Perspective He decides not to choose the other woman. She decides to stay at home and not be ambitious. She thinks only of not having a car. Staying here, she knows she will not succeed. He is fascinated with any woman he might not succeed with. He is so macho and she is so ladylike he doesn’t have to be controlling. Realizes he has not mastered the ladies/the lady. She is quiet about her grim determination to get it done and put an end to it. She is determined to succeed in the end. She is passively determined to not be responsible, not be in control, not to be a success. She is not waiting for the guy, his success is his only interest in life. All she thinks of is his death in a vehicle. Death-Knight of Pentacles Perspective He isn’t focused on his achievements but on his expertise. His main interest is not material achievement but spiritual expertise. She is determined not to have a vehicle. He isn’t interested only in cars and girls anymore. He has achieved not being obsessed with the other woman. ====================================================================

========================================================= MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD The first thing to notice is the Death card. It is the main negator or negative modifier, so the spread is going to have diverse meanings, depending on which card the negative is attached to. This is why I divided the sentences into which card the death card modifies. (The death card also means other things, of course, like ‘end.’) Knight of Pentacles and Chariot are very ambitious men, driven men. Chariot is a success. Knight of Pentacles is determined to ‘make it.’ The remaining card is the lady, High Priestess, who is passive, who has spiritual expertise, who is quiet.  Her spiritual and other-plane expertise are echoed in Chariot, in his ability to use the black and the white together to accomplish his purposes. (World is about that, too.) You could say Knight of Pentacles is to Chariot as High Priestess is to World.) Both Chariot and High Priestess express the idea of balance. He in the black and white steeds, she in the “B” and the “J” of the Kaballah. MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS Death is your negative modifier or negator. Without a question, the meaning of a spread will vary very widely depending on which card the negator modifies. People get upset when they see “The Death Card” but when it modifies a ‘bad’ card’ the two negatives make a positive. Keep that in mind if you read cards yourself. The illustration is of the crown held by the bishop when a king dies before the new king is crowned. Hence, a change of regimes, a shift of power. Knight of Pentacles is driven, determined, ambitious, focused on a main interest, obsessed. He is macho, a tough guy, a very physical guy, is strong of body. He aims to get the job done; whereas Chariot has done the job and is in control of the situation. His illustration in the Rider Waite system shows the tough looking dude on a tough-looking horse, staring at this one thing he has in mind. His ambition is about himself, whereas Chariot’s is about accomplishing the project, meeting the goal. Chariot is the leader. He has achieved, he has got the job done and the situation under control. He is skilled at using both factors that favor his success and factors that are antagonistic to his achieving it to fuel his arrival where he wants to be. A self-made man. Depicted in the Rider Waite system as the charioteer who has the black steed going left and the white steed going right, and he gets a forward movement out of that. It’s called ‘tacking against the wind’ in maritime lingo. This energy is not self-promoting per se; it is goal oriented and about a project being accomplished. High Priestess is passive, has spiritual expertise, is quiet. In Rider Waite, she sits on an invisible throne, with the “B” and the “J” that mean mercy and severity or justice. The tree of the Kaballah, with pomegranates for its bases, is behind her. She wears the cross and has the book of knowledge in her lap, not looking at it because … she wrote it. She knows, she understands, she is camouflaged. She is the lady, and the other woman, in practical application. Her spiritual and other-plane expertise are echoed in Chariot, in his ability to use the black and the white together to accomplish his purposes. As I said above, World is also in this category, moreso: World has arrived. You could say Knight of Pentacles is to Chariot as High Priestess is to World.
