Tarot Readings for You for February 9, 2015 Monday©
GUIDANCE We pass through people, and they pass through us. One minute we are dealing with them, talking with them, and the next minute, it’s on to the next for them and us. Being in the same situation together inflames a connection between me and him or her, but when we move on and the situation is different, we may not find one another, and it’s okay … totally okay. That’s the way it is. We have conversations on the fly, sometimes intimate precisely because we don’t know them and they don’t know us. So sometimes we retire from the relationship field for respite from an overdose of closeness.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you the COMBINED meanings of those!

Eight of Wands – Temperance – Six of Swords
.
.
………………….
…………
………… In the center we have Temperance: relationships, communication [and Eight of Wands echoes that with talk as well as writing], dealing with, exchanges, ‘the two of us,’ partnerships of various sorts, intimacy, as well as buddies and contacts – and healing too, incidentally. To Temperance’s left, we have the talk, repetition, communication, and the ‘quickly’ of Eight of Wands. To the right of Temperance, we have Six of Swords, who says that things get better, who means leaving or getting over something, but also means going to a destination – not just leaving.
We have stories.
………………………….. Eight of Wands is talk of any sort, or any sort of written communication, and it also means ‘quickly’ or ‘a number of things,’ or increasingly – more and more, one after the other, and so forth – and it can be a list of items. The wood flying through the air could better represent all those meanings, but, from the field, we know Tarot Verbatim™’s Eight of Wands means those things, for sure.
………………………….. Temperance’s illustration could also better represent the meanings it calls forth. Its main meaning is closeness, intimacy, and intimate communication. The back and forth flow of the wine and water (That’s what the ‘Temperance’ is all about – the diluting of the wine.) calls forth ‘reciprocating.’ ‘I’ll get back to you,’ we say. A good slogan for Temperance is ‘equal intimate partners,’ and it does mean equals, and it does mean partners, and of course intimacy as well. The angel can be taken literally, and he has a symbol for healing on his chest, so healing is part of Temperance’s dictionary.
..…………….…………. Six of Swords is going away from a place that is a bad scene for you, a place of defeat or loss, to a better future. Although this is a depressing scene on the illustration, the tone of Six of Swords is hopeful. The future is better because anything is better than the past. Six of Swords has a contradiction built into this ‘going from Point A to Point B’ scenario: It means both ‘not anymore’ and ‘from now on.’ Emphasis can be on the getting out, or on the destination.
……….………….
Eight of Wands and Temperance Eight of Wands and Temperance say ‘a closer relationship,’ and ‘heart-to-heart discussions.’ Eight of Wands’ ‘increasingly’ or ‘more and more’ trunk of meanings can put an ‘-er’ ending to nouns or adjectives; and another large trunk of Eight of Wands is talk, speak, chat, discussion, etc. Temperance is close, intimate, and it also means communication back and forth – not just the ‘say-speak-tell’ category. So these two cards in Tarot Verbatim™ say ‘friendly talk.’ (And yes you remembered right: Eight of Wands also makes nouns plural; it can add an ‘s’ to words.)
Here are the sentences that say ‘a closer relationship’:
A heart-to-heart chat.
Getting any more intimate.
A closer relationship.
We become more and more intimate.
More and more, our relationship ….
We are … together.
And here are the sentences for ‘a friendly talk’:
When I am talking with my friend.
Talking about … to be with someone.
Talk to your close friend.
Me and my buddy, we talk about things.
The person you talk to ….
Conversing with someone who repeats the same thing over and over.
This relationship is all talk.
We are texting one another.
Verbal transactions.
Quick exchanges.
A two-way conversation.
And here are the sentences that use Temperance simply as ‘relationship,’ and pick up Eight of Wands’ meanings of : making the other card, Temperance, plural; ‘fast’; ‘some people,’ which is making Temperance plural too; ‘all,’ which is part of ‘We all’ (the ‘we’ belonging to Temperance); ‘a few’; ‘A number of’; a list; and ‘one after another.’ Yes, all those phrases belong to Eight of Wands.
A better _ when you deal with your equals.
We all have relationships.
… of a relationship fast.
Some people you are close to.
You are with a few buddies.
A number of contacts.
A list of people to deal with.
It’s been one relationship after another. x..
……….…………
Eight of Wands and Six of Swords Six of Swords is about things are going to be better, are improving, because we are headed to a better, and moving from this, place (or situation) so the future will be better. Eight of Wands modifies this by ‘talk’ and ‘imminently’ or ‘right away.’ (Imminently is from the ‘fast’ category of Eight of Wands’ meanings, and so is ‘right away.’) Sentences for this ‘improvement emphasis for Eight of Wands and Six of Swords are:
Things improve after a chat.
I am better off when I am talking ….
More and more _ is headed to a better place.
Talk about how your life is better now.
FUTURE WILL BE BETTER
_ all have _ that we are recovering from.
You’re ‘out of the woods’ fast.
… right away, and it will be all right.
… moving away imminently.
Talk about moving away.
We are going places.
Eight of Wands means talk. Six of Swords joins that meaning for Eight of Wands with its own meanings of: recovery; left there; repeats the same thing over and over; all talk; texting; verbal; and conversation, making these sentences:
In recovery, we talk about things.
… you talk to has left there.
Avoid who repeats the same thing over and over.
I give up, this is all talk.
… texting from now on.
No more verbal ….
A conversation while traveling.
Six of Swords is getting out of an undesirable position, situation or place. When Eight of Wands joins it with its meanings of: fast; some (people); a few; a number of; a list of; one after another – together they make these sentences:
Getting out fast.
Phasing out some (people) ….
You are parting with a few _.
A number of _ I am withdrawing from.
A list of _ not to deal with any more.
It’s been one after another, and I’m retiring from the field. x..
………..…………
Temperance and Six of Swords Temperance means ‘our relationship’ or close friends, or just ‘we’ when two people are ‘together.’ Six of Swords, meaning improvement, or ‘better off,’ or even ‘recovery,’ joins Temperance in this category of its meanings to say:
Things improve after a heart-to-heart _.
We are on our way to a close relationship.
I am better off when I am with my friend.
Our relationship is headed to a better place.
… your close friend about how your life is better now.
We are going to a place together.
Me and my buddy, in recovery together.
And Six of Swords is avoiding: That is one of its words. When you depart from an undesirable person place or thing, you are avoiding; and Six of Swords is, for sure departing in that little boat at twilight. Six of Swords means ‘recovering from’ the same way: putting some undesirable state behind. Sometimes Six of Swords is just giving up and leaving with a ‘heck with it’ feeling too. When Temperance joins Six of Swords in this category of its meanings, Temperance uses these meanings of its own: Let’s; relationship; healing; conversing with someone; transaction; contact (noun); you are close to; a buddy; a person you are dealing with – to make these sentences and parts of sentences:
Let’s avoid.
Let’s avoid getting any more ___.
Relationship we are recovering from.
You’re ‘out of the woods’ and healing.
Avoid conversing with someone.
No more transactions.
PHASING OUT SOME CONTACTS
Getting out of a relationship.
Phasing out … you are close to.
You are parting with a buddy.
Contact I am withdrawing from.
Person to not deal with anymore.
… relationship … and I’m retiring from the field.
I give up; this relationship is ….
Temperance is dealing with something, too; and it means dealing with an equal. Six of Wands meets up with this category of meanings of Temperance’s with its meanings, here, of ‘a future’ and ‘it will be all right.’
A _ future when you deal with your equals.
Deal with it, and it will be all right.
Six of Wands is moving away, leaving a place. When Temperance joins this category of Six of Wands’ meanings, it uses its meanings of ‘the two of us’ and ‘to be with someone’ and ‘the person you were dealing with,’ and you get sentences like these:
The two of us are moving away.
Moving away to be with someone.
The person you were dealing with has left there.
Lastly, Temperance means a two-way conversation and ‘exchanges’ in the sense of verbal back-and-forth communication. Six of Swords links to this language with its own ‘on the way out’ and ‘while traveling.’
Exchanges on the way out.
A two way conversation while traveling. x..
.
.
We contrast closeness and withdrawal, intimacy and leaving. We contrast ‘more and more’ with ‘not anymore’ and the stories are about passing through, about where our story takes us, and where someone else’s story takes him or her. We can be close one minute and distant the next as we move and our friends, lovers and contacts move. We are saying ‘That’s the way it is; it’s not a big deal.’

Eight of Wands ……….. Eight of Wands shows boards flying through the air one after the other, looking like lines on a paper … sort of? This expresses its fast and its quickly meanings, and stretches, maybe, to all its written communication (documents) meanings. But one of Eight of Wands’ most common meanings is talk, say, and other such words.
.
Temperance .………… Temperance shows an angel diluting wine by pouring it back and forth with water – hence, ‘Temperance.’ It never means that; never means dilution. Well, almost never. This card is one of the ones that served to protect people who used Tarot from witchcraft – a capital crime – charges in the Middle Ages in Europe. In real use, Temperance is partnership, close relationship, intimacy and intimate communication, us, we, a couple, together, dealing and dealing with. The angel can apply if the context calls for it, and this card can mean healing because there is a symbol for that on his chest.
.
Six of Swords …………..Six of Swords is leaving to live another day, leaving a bad scene, getting out of town in defeat. Six of Swords is going to another better situation or place. These two meanings can clash in some contexts; you have to determine which applies – the ‘not anymore’ or the ‘from now on’ sometimes. This card is one of the most flexible when it comes to phrases and sentences.
