Tarot Readings for You for November 2, 2013 Saturday(c)
Guidance Some of our best ideas, inspirations and realizations occur because we are in urgent need of something we lack. Necessity truly is the mother of enlightenment, sometimes. When we arrive at a new level of awareness, we realize how lacking we were back then, and may feel sorry for others still in that territory. Major realizations are like sudden bright lights in the dark. They disorient a person temporarily, don’t they? But why be sorry for a person who now knows how to change?
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

Strange changes in your brain exhaust you, deplete you.
Psychic awareness is a sudden disruption that makes you feel weird and even inferior.
The switch feels strange as you realize those were the bad old days back there.
Sudden recovery from illness, as your awareness is heightened, feels strange.
A strange new idea strikes you about what is lacking.

A new concept or inspiration makes you feel sorry for the poor fools left behind in your dust.
‘Dark night of the soul’ brings a new level of ‘who’d a thunk it’ awareness when it’s over.
I feel like a poor old fool with each new level of awareness.
Just when I need a bright idea, a really silly one strikes me.
We feel intensely sorry for fools rushing in.
.
Tarot Readings: Getting Out of Poor Times (Knight of Swords and Five of Pentacles)
Feels weird when you realize how fast you can get out of poor times.
Realize that stupid idea is what got us out of heading for bankruptcy.
When you are homeless, you see things in a different light and change your attitudes.
It happened so fast it feels intensely strange not to be poor anymore.
Why is it when you hit bottom that you get the flash of inspiration?
In desperate times, any old escape that gets you out is a great idea.
Lack of inspiration makes for foolhardy changes.
Realize desperation makes (you) rush into something inappropriate.
What would inspire you to get going when you are numb with despair?
.
Tarot Readings: Don’t You Get It? (Page of Cups and Hanged Man)
I understand I let that idiot get me down, and now I’m over it.
Why feel sorry for yourself when you know you can leave?
(He) knows how to change, so why feel sorry for him?
Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Do you know how inappropriate for you that is?
Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Hanged Man

Page of Cups and Hanged Man are both about awareness, and both mean ‘weirdness’ in different ways. Together, they mean things like ‘mindboggling inspiration’ and ‘Don’t you get it?’ ‘Realize I am insane’ would be another phrase for these two.
Page of Cups can be a misfit weirdo sort of person, and can be about feeling out of place, inappropriate, or strange. Page of Cups is a strange notion, a bizarre situation or funny-looking contraption. Page of Cups is also that ‘What-the-fuck’ experience. It is one of the ‘duh’ cards that can make its sentence a question.
Hanged Man is about one’s brains being scrambled by a realization, eureka experience, deja vu experience, an inspired or bright idea, a new concept or new perspective. It’s that ‘coulda had a V8’ experience.
A change: That is what Knight of Swords is about. Knight of Swords is in a hurry, a headlong rush into something. He is also getting out, leaving – or is the escape route, the way out. So it appears for a switch, for ‘coming and going’ or ‘got us out of being headed for’ or ‘turned back’ or ‘doubling back’ or ‘turned around in midstream.’ It is also a strike or a raid. Sometimes it translates ‘quit,’ often when the quitting is pulling out of or pulling back from something.
There’s energy to this Tarot card, so some of his words and phrases are: suddenly get over it, sudden recovery, rush in, how fast you can get out of, it happened so fast, propelled, headlong, get going. Since he is so flexible, you don’t look to him first for the main meaning of your spread; you find a more definitive Tarot card, and he will fit in.
Five of Pentacles is another spiritual mystical card in Rider Waite. It depicts ‘Dark Night of the Soul,’ a spiritual exhaustion that occurs after a peak experience. Its meanings arise, of course, from the picture of a wounded, crippled, mother and son in rags in a snowstorm who are so numb they don’t notice that’s a cathedral, where they could sleep in a warm bed and have a warm meal. (Back then, that was true.)
Five of Pentacles is doing without, poor times, misery, feeling sorry for yourself or someone else, a lack of something, bankruptcy, numbing out from stress or grief, being homeless or on the street walking. Snow and snow storm. Benighted (lacking insight). And of course dark night of the soul.
Knight of Swords and Five of Pentacles together mean such things as: a way out of poor times or misery, changes exhaust or deplete you, sudden recovery from illness, get out of the doldrums or self-pity, ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ brings a new level of, just when I need it, got us out of being headed for bankruptcy, not poor anymore, desperation makes you rush into.
Knight of Swords and Page of Cups means things like: it happens so fast it makes your head spin, suddenly you feel weird or strange, a strange new idea strikes, dizzying changes, that stupid idea is what got us out of being headed for, see things in a different way and change, rush into something inappropriate, what would get you going, I’m over that idiot, why leave, exit the dummy, quit because that’s inappropriate.
Knight of Swords and Hanged Man are: changes in your brain, change your mind, awareness is heightened as you recover, a new idea strikes, realize how fast you can, see things in a whole new and different light, change your view, it happened so fast it feels intensely, taking leave of your mind, inspired to get going, propelled into the realization, realize you can just leave or get out, I understand and now I’m over it.
Five of Pentacles and Page of Cups say such things as: miserable for a silly reason, poor fool, who would have thought that ‘Dark Night of the Soul,’ poor times feel weird, when you are homeless you see things in a different way, do something inappropriate out of desperation, why feel sorry for yourself.
Five of Pentacles and Hanged Man make these phrases: It strikes me ‘I’m broke now,” when you are homeless, you see things in a different light, enlightenment when you have been in the dark, illness brings enlightenment, illness heightens awareness, an inspiration about what is lacking, need a bright idea, when you realize poor times, realize it’s a lack of, feel intense sorrow.

Knight of Swords shows a fully armed knight leaning over the rushing horse’s neck, arm extended, clothes and mane whipped in the wind. His expression is intense in pursuit. But the Rider Waite Tarot card can also mean fleeing as well as going back and switching directions back and forth. It suggests a strike sometimes as well. It often means change, and hurrying or a rush.
Five of Pentacles Depleted, exhausted, lacking what you need, numb with despair and homeless or bankrupt: Poor times, this Rider Waite Tarot card screams. A mother and wounded, crippled child in rags pass on foot by a cathedral where a hot meal and warm bed await – because they are so tired it doesn’t register as shelter!
Page of Cups Silly, inappropriate, awkward, strange or weird, foolish, see things differently, foolhardy: That is the fellow wearing women’s clothing and carrying around a fish in a cup. This can mean inspiration just as Hanged Man can. It suggests putting the sentence in question form, and also expresses humor at times.
Hanged Man most often means ‘realize’ or ‘realization.’ An idea, concept, inspiration, eureka experience, “Get it” or understand, intense experience, intense awareness … to know. Telepathy or psychic experience. The Illustration depicts how ‘upside-down’ you feel when you suddenly realize something – maybe ‘something you knew already.’
