Tarot Readings for You for March 4, 2014 Tuesday©
Guidance I am not anything anymore, so I have nothing much to be against. It’s one thing to be for-or-against something and another to identify with being for-or-against it. And that’s our story for the day: identifying or not identifying myself with some particular flavor. That’s it. When you get into being against one party or the other, I tune out. I tried so hard in this union thing, and one day I dropped out. I don’t even acknowledge the effort I put into avoiding marriage. It’s a combative corporate culture; I didn’t have to decide to leave it. The company abandons people who make that big effort for it as if they never existed. After a struggle to disenfranchise myself from this and that, I am free of membership itself.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL SIX 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Fool
Eight of Cups – Five of Wands – Four of Wands
Eight of Cups and Fool This is new territory. Right off, two of the four are about abandoning, being free, leaving, having no ties – in different ways. Eight of Cups abandons course, is out of there, is disenfranchised, is taking a detour or dropping out, changing course abruptly, possibly not voluntarily but because of circumstances. Fool was born free, isn’t identified with or entangled or a member, isn’t even thinking that way. Fool is the exception, is fearless and not involved, has no past and no future, has a clear mind and doesn’t care … doesn’t care who you are and what you are doing and what you are up to. In fact, Fool isn’t even present … doesn’t exist, there’s no such thing … isn’t any of that, isn’t there. You could say it represents reality before the big bang. That is why it also means the inception, the beginning, to start anew.
They make quite the pair when you apply them!
Five of Wands and Four of Wands So what does this apply to? Five of Wands is a struggle, an effort, is being for or against in a fight, competition, or struggle. Four of Wands is anything or any group or category that has members or parts: couple, marriage, family, organization, company, neighborhood, any size political entity from village to world, any thought-community (as in all those distinctions scholars make) or religion or party. Four of Wands, you could say, is membership itself.
Now, Four of Wands is the closest we come in this spread to meaning something or standing for some idea. So Four of Wands is the focus of the other cards’ energies. Hence, each of our categories revolves around what membership-group is being left, forgotten, struggled or fought for or against … et cetera. And that’s our story for the day: identifying or not identifying oneself or himself or herself or myself or themselves with some particular thing. That’s it.

Eight of Cups You can’t get there from here, so you turn off and go another way. The terrain doesn’t allow your intention. Those mountains are in the way, so let’s detour around them. Give up, drop out, it’s over with before it begins. I’m not there anymore, not a (whatever) anymore. An abrupt change occurs, no notice, and you find yourself doing something else. In a month, things will be different without notice. |
Five of Wands Why are those guys whacking those logs together – a big effort? They are struggling or competing or fighting, are very much involved in whatever the sport or war or game is. A lot of effort and energy expended … maybe aerobic exercise? From an observer’s perspective, the activity seems pointless, but not if you’re involved in it. Could this be about the activity of life itself?
Four of Wands Belonging. We do a lot of that. It’s our family, our spouse, our religion, our work, our affiliations for and against causes that we identify with. Because it’s one thing to be for-or-against something and another to identify with being for-or-against it.
Fool was born free, isn’t identified with or entangled or a member, isn’t even thinking that way. Fool is ‘doin’ my own thing.’ Fool is the exception, is fearless and not involved, has no past and no future, has a clear mind and doesn’t care … doesn’t care who you are and what you are doing and what you are up to. In fact, Fool isn’t even present … doesn’t exist, there’s no such thing … isn’t any of that, isn’t there. You could say it represents reality before the big bang. That is why it also means the inception, the beginning, to start anew, incipient. Its placement or number in the deck in Rider Waite is Zero. The cipher whose movements make the numbers nervous. It’s illustration shows a person blithely about to skip off a cliff with his dog beside him on a fine sunny day, carrying a flower and no provisions for the pilgrimage. Nothing bad can happen to him; he is in the zone.
