Tarot Readings for You for March 4, 2014 Tuesday©

Guidance       I am not anything anymore, so I have nothing much to be against.     It’s one thing to be for-or-against something and another to identify with being for-or-against it.     And that’s our story for the day: identifying or not identifying myself with some particular flavor.     That’s it. When you get into being against one party or the other, I tune out.     I tried so hard in this union thing, and one day I dropped out.     I don’t even acknowledge the effort I put into avoiding marriage.     It’s a combative corporate culture; I didn’t have to decide to leave it.    The company abandons people who make that big effort for it as if they never existed.     After a struggle to disenfranchise myself from this and that, I am free of membership itself.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

Tarot Readings: Duck out of the Family (Eight of Cups and Four of Wands)

Be free: Quit trying to be accepted as one of them.

Drop out of family fights: Don’t even keep track.

A violent family life to abandon and begin anew.

When people get into being against one or the other member, count me out.
It’s no effort on my part to forget my roots.

Not having family means not having anyone to fight with.

I don’t acknowledge the effort I put into not getting home on time.

The struggle to be free of the clan is a done deal.

I forget how hard it was to get me out of the church.

Tarot Readings: Free of Being Married (Four of Wands and Fool)

Big effort to get out of a marriage and be a free person.

Did not go through with marrying – too much effort for me.

Does not want to be part of a combative home life – left.

I tried so hard in this union, and one day I walked out and forgot about it.

The struggle to be free of the spouse is over.

Getting the marriage out of my head was no struggle for me.

I’m not the type to be a couple; I just don’t try.

I try so hard to ignore that I am not the marrying kind.

I don’t acknowledge the effort I put into avoiding marriage.

I’m not going to be there for a partner; when it’s difficult I just leave.

It isn’t a marriage anymore when there’s violence.

Leave a violent spouse without thinking.

Violent episode just before the wedding means no wedding.

Tarot Readings: No longer with the Company (Eight of Cups and Four of Wands)

No longer active in that organization, I got over it.

No longer actively involved with the company anymore.

It’s a combative corporate culture; I don’t have to think about quitting.

The Company abandons the people who made that big effort as if they never existed.

Tarot Readings: Leaving it All Behind (Eight of Cups and Fool)

I am not one of anything anymore, so I have nothing to be against.

It is a huge effort to be free and avoid membership.
The struggle to be free of ‘being one of them’ is over.

I avoid going there: What an effort getting that out of my head!
The struggle to be free of the citizenship is over.

After a struggle to disenfranchise myself, I am free of membership itself.

Just quit trying to be a good (whatever) and forget about it.

I’m simply not cut out to be a (whatever); there’s no use trying.

I quit being against Them and don’t even think about it anymore.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL SIX 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Fool

Eight of Cups – Five of Wands – Four of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Eight of Cups and Fool      This is new territory. Right off, two of the four are about abandoning, being free, leaving, having no ties – in different ways. Eight of Cups abandons course, is out of there, is disenfranchised, is taking a detour or dropping out, changing course abruptly, possibly not voluntarily but because of circumstances. Fool was born free, isn’t identified with or entangled or a member, isn’t even thinking that way. Fool is the exception, is fearless and not involved, has no past and no future, has a clear mind and doesn’t care … doesn’t care who you are and what you are doing and what you are up to. In fact, Fool isn’t even present … doesn’t exist, there’s no such thing … isn’t any of that, isn’t there. You could say it represents reality before the big bang. That is why it also means the inception, the beginning, to start anew.

They make quite the pair when you apply them!

Five of Wands and Four of Wands   So what does this apply to? Five of Wands is a struggle, an effort, is being for or against in a fight, competition, or struggle. Four of Wands is anything or any group or category that has members or parts: couple, marriage, family, organization, company, neighborhood, any size political entity from village to world, any thought-community (as in all those distinctions scholars make) or religion or party. Four of Wands, you could say, is membership itself.

Now, Four of Wands is the closest we come in this spread to meaning something or standing for some idea. So Four of Wands is the focus of the other cards’ energies. Hence, each of our categories revolves around what membership-group is being left, forgotten, struggled or fought for or against … et cetera. And that’s our story for the day: identifying or not identifying oneself or himself or herself or myself or themselves with some particular thing. That’s it.

Eight of Cups      You can’t get there from here, so you turn off and go another way. The terrain doesn’t allow your intention. Those mountains are in the way, so let’s detour around them. Give up, drop out, it’s over with before it begins. I’m not there anymore, not a (whatever) anymore. An abrupt change occurs, no notice, and you find yourself doing something else. In a month, things will be different without notice.

Five of Wands      Why are those guys whacking those logs together – a big effort? They are struggling or competing or fighting, are very much involved in whatever the sport or war or game is. A lot of effort and energy expended … maybe aerobic exercise? From an observer’s perspective, the activity seems pointless, but not if you’re involved in it. Could this be about the activity of life itself?

Four of Wands      Belonging. We do a lot of that. It’s our family, our spouse, our religion, our work, our affiliations for and against causes that we identify with. Because it’s one thing to be for-or-against something and another to identify with being for-or-against it.

Fool      was born free, isn’t identified with or entangled or a member, isn’t even thinking that way. Fool is ‘doin’ my own thing.’ Fool is the exception, is fearless and not involved, has no past and no future, has a clear mind and doesn’t care … doesn’t care who you are and what you are doing and what you are up to. In fact, Fool isn’t even present … doesn’t exist, there’s no such thing … isn’t any of that, isn’t there. You could say it represents reality before the big bang. That is why it also means the inception, the beginning, to start anew, incipient. Its placement or number in the deck in Rider Waite is Zero. The cipher whose movements make the numbers nervous. It’s illustration shows a person blithely about to skip off a cliff with his dog beside him on a fine sunny day, carrying a flower and no provisions for the pilgrimage. Nothing bad can happen to him; he is in the zone.

Our Daily Spread for July 2, 2011

This weekend’s question is: Tell us something good, something we have to work with. (Note: a few negative sentences are not on here because we asked for ‘something good.’ Advice is “Take a good hard look at who you are and where you live” when we ask “Tell us something good, something we can work with.” Not just one spread, but tomorrow’s too! These ARE the good old days we were looking for! The way life will get better is by developing what we have right now to work with. Live your own life, not your parents’ marriage or some other family: yours, now. For two days, we repeat this. Five of Wands Four of Wands, Queen of Wands, Page of Pentacles =========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. Comment or call if you have a suggestion for a question.

(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

======================================================================== DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. Family Life Perspective Take a good hard look at who you are and where you live. The person you are trying so hard to be is the person who lives in your house. Resist the family ideas and have a life of your own. Remember mama’s marriage and home life of discord. When someone has in mind to quarrel in your house, you have house rules. You strive to have a house of your own that you are in charge of. You are putting your energy into your home, your private life. Be on the lookout for the family fighting at mama’s house, and stay home. Other She is trying so hard to be a married woman, it’s all she thinks about. She is competitive enough to have established herself in the company. He is a student living in mama’s house. Women compete to marry him, he thinks. Mama’s boys try hard to have a family of their own. The women of the family compete in sports. ======================================================================== Now, Part Two,

Four of Wands is Company and Queen of Wands is Manager. Page of Pentacles is identity, thinking and focus upon. Five of Wands is try hard, resist, fight. Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards Four of Wands is the family, the marriage, the Company. The Rider Waite illustration is meant to depict a wedding of a VIP family. Queen of Wands is the wife, the married woman, the manager, the woman in charge, which can be expanded to person in charge, depending. Illustration is a sensible looking woman sitting upright on a throne with sunflowers and a cat – definitely not a glamor puss. Page of Pentacles is a young fellow studying the object in his hand. He is meant to be a student, a person who is finding who he is, an apprentice. Five of Wands in Rider Waite Tarot shows five fellows go at each other with boards – either for fun or sport. It is about fighting, competition, trying hard.
