Tarot Readings for You for November 4, 2015 Wednesday©

GUIDANCE           Other people’s fights are not yours, and joining in as a third party is against your best interest. ‘Let It Be,’ the Beatles sang. Today we sing the praises of Inaction. But we look at the obverse of the situation: Not doing anything while a mooch, or an electrical problem, festers within your walls. So Inaction does not merit our unconditional praise … of course. But I was under the influence, and I slept through a lightning storm!

Tarot Readings: Don’t Bother to Make a Point (Four of Swords and Tower)

Not confronting the internal opposition.

Am indifferent and am rejecting what has strings attached.

Not making an issue of something, to save face.

Not breaking up with the cheater.

Not going to make an issue of the b.s.

Other people’s fights are not mine.

No one confronts the mooch.

They have an agenda of their own; it’s no use fighting with them.

Going along with them and not clashing with them.

There’s an undercurrent of resistance that doesn’t come to a head.

On my best behavior so I don’t get thrown out.

It’s a crooked, crooked world, and it’s useless to overthrow it.

.. …….…… …..

Tarot Readings: Consequences of Inaction (Four of Swords and Six of Wands)

A blow-up is the unintended consequence of not doing anything.

Gets himself fired for not doing something.

It breaks because nothing was done about the underlying (and festering) cause.

Nothing is being done as an electrical fire is brewing.

The mooch is staying until evicted.

I slept through a lightning storm because I was under the influence (inebriated).

.. …….…… …..

Tarot Readings: Self-destructs (Tower and Six of Wands)

Without any action on your part, your cutthroat rival self-destructs.

Their self-destructive agenda requires no response from you.

They don’t do anything until there’s an emergency, and then they misrepresent it.

Tries to get us to go along with the program, and has a fit when we don’t do it.

Oh never mind, just let them blow themselves up.

An ‘attractive nuisance’ that could cause a disaster, doesn’t.

.. …….…… …..           WHAT have we here? Tower always gets attention. It’s the ‘boom.’ And Six of Wands is … ahem … not what it seems, whatever it is seeming. And who else? Well, Four of Swords is advice to not get involved … ‘Count me out.’

We have two main messages today. One is the glories of not fighting a losing battle – not getting involved in conflict. Four of Swords is the ‘not get involved’; Tower is conflict; Six of Wands is about ‘it’s against your interest and it’s not what it seems.’

The other is the opposite situation: not doing anything precipitates a crisis. Four of Swords is the ‘not doing anything’; Six of Wands is the ‘precipitates,’ the festering or brewing behind the scenes – you know, the frenemy, the Fifth Columnist; and Tower is the crisis, the ‘boom.’

One distinction between these two scenarios would be ‘Who’s potential hazard is this: yours or theirs? The gist of our two messages is: Be active when a situation belong to you, and be inactive when ‘it’s not your circus and not your monkeys.’

Tower and Six of Wands both are destructive cards: Tower is overt (in-your-face) and Six of Wands is covert (the frenemy, the friend who hates).

.

.

.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE.

Four of Swords           Four of Swords is not participating, sleeping, indifferent, not responding, inaction (not doing anything). It’s things that don’t happen, which gives it a part-time job as a negator.

This not-participating concept expands to meditation, which its illustration is about. It expands to being laid off, sidelined, time out, retirement, coma, being ‘dead drunk,’ and such things as that.

So, for example, Four of Swords joins Tower to say ‘I don’t get thrown out.’

The illustration is a candidate for knighthood doing his vision quest about his life purpose as a knight, which is part of the ritual by which he becomes a knight. He meditates overnight upon the relic-bones of the church’s saint or hero.

Tower                   Lightning strikes a building, it’s destroyed, and people are blasted out of it. Most of Tower’s meanings arise from these elements. Histories of all the ancient nations in very early civilizations we read about contain this story, just as they do the flood story.

Tower is a disaster, although it has some nonthreatening meanings. Today we use three categories of Tower’s lexicon. First, we have: rejecting, breaking up, thrown out, and overthrow. Second, we have opposition, confrontation or confronts, fighting, clashing, resistance, ‘make an issue of’ and ‘has a fit.’ Third, we have the disaster meanings: blow-up, fired, breaks, electrical fire, evicted, lightning storm, destructs and destructive, and emergency.

If you are looking for a comprehensive report on Tower’s interpretations, just Google ‘Tower Tarot Verbatim.’

Six of Wands           Six of Wands is the kidnapping of King Richard III by Arabs he won a battle against. (The next-in-line-to-the-throne plotted the kidnapping. King Richard spent the rest of his life in captivity in an Arab country.)

Six of Wands has a wide spectrum of meanings, many of which spawn a wide variety of words and phrases. The easiest way to apply this card is: Don’t trust your environment; things are not what they seem. ‘Pyrrhic victor’ or false victory belongs to Six of Wands. Some common Six of Wands translates are: frenemy; against (his) interest; sabotage and self-sabotage; infighting or internal opposition; Fifth Column or traitor or betrayal; agenda; mooch; leads a double life; play the role; virtual reality; unintended consequence; attractive nuisance; own worst enemy; con artist; Munchhausen; hypocrite or two-faced.

Examples of Six of Wands lite are: face; playing the part; pretending to be a better person than I am; put your best foot forward; hypocrite; strings are attached; blarney; misinterpret; hidden cause; faking it.

.

.

.

.

Letting it be, and letting things slide. Hard to tell them apart sometimes. We don’t want to be party to every injustice we encounter, nor do we want to stand by as things get worse undercover. Today we invite ourselves to pay attention to what our part is in situations that are gathering storm clouds. Our question is: Are we involved? – because we don’t want to butt into a conflict that doesn’t have our name on it.

.

Tarot Readings: The Workingman (King of Wands)

Tarot Readings: Vehicle (Chariot)

Tarot Readings: Impulsive, Uninhibited, Passionate Fellow (King of Wands)

Tarot Readings: The Shyster, Cheater, Mooch, Pretending to Be, Doing a Role (Six of Wands)

Tarot Readings: Husband (King of Wands)

Responsible husband; is not cheating or fooling around.

He really aims to be her husband but is acting uninterested in that.

Your virtual husband isn’t interested in any responsibilities.

He decides to act like he is not even (her) husband.

Husband isn’t cheating when he is driving his truck.

Husband isn’t driving there; he is cheating.

Husband did it on purpose, and isn’t pretending he didn’t.

He decides to be her husband so he can retire and live off of her.

It was not his deliberate choice to be her husband, she tricked him into it.

Husband intends to stay, despite his pretenses.

Although he is not the one in control, husband has behind-the-scenes influence.

He acts like he is your husband and doesn’t do anything useful at all.

Husband is out for his own interests, he isn’t doing anything for you at all.

Husband was tricked; he did not plan this action.

Tarot Readings: The Workingman (King of Wands)

He is an ambitious country boy, no pretenses.

I’m a truck driver, don’t pretend to be anything else.

The workingman is the supervisor but he cannot participate due to circumstances beyond his control.

Working man is sleeping in his parked vehicle, but keeping up appearances.

He only pretends to be a sonofabitch, his is laissez faire management.

If only he would no longer be angry and frustrated that he is ‘only pretending to e somebody,’ only seeming to be who he is … he would get ahead and succeed.

Tarot Readings: Vehicle (Chariot)

He is pretending he was not the driver of the vehicle – in an excitable way.

No way to pretend: He is an angry, impulsive and impaired driver.

I’m a truck driver, don’t pretend to be anything else.

When he is a passenger and not the driver, he is frustrated at not being the one in control.

Do not let this edgy guy get control of your vehicle: He is up to something.

Tarot Readings: Impulsive, Uninhibited, Passionate Fellow (King of Wands)

Impulsive macho man is in a position of authority, and I just don’t fit in with these people.

When you are interfered with and not getting through, you master the situation by being the angry loudmouth.

He pretends to be asleep in order to control his temper.

He puts his energy into getting ahead, not just looking like he is.

He is not taking charge of his situation, just letting his impuleses control him.

Things get to him, he isn’t in control.

Took advantage of his passionate nature; he did not do it on purpose.

Without doing anything deliberately, a guy with an edgy personality sabotages himself.

His temper, his loutish macho nature, gets the best of him, and he does not get ahead.

Tarot Readings: The Shyster, Cheater, Mooch, Pretending to Be, Doing a Role (Six of Wands)

He is pretending he was not the driver of the vehicle – in an excitable way.

He hasn’t done anything responsible, but he looks like he has because of his energetic personality.

Since he decided he is going to be your husband, he is acting unresponsive.

When he is made with you, he deliberately acts like your friend and bides his time.

He isn’t impulsive when it comes to a strategy to deal with this supposed buddy.

He, the lout, bullshits his way into being in charge, without being a worker at all.

Do not take responsibility for the redneck’s shenanigans.

He is a scheming bastard; don’t have anything to do with him.

Chooses not to get involved with the angry subversive(s).

Workingman’s ambition cannot be fulfilled because of politics.

He isn’t going to accomplish his purpose because his edgy personality creates covert opposition, or actual undeclared enemies.

Six of Wands – Chariot – Four of Swords

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Chariot is to be in control; Four of Swords is to refrain from (in today’s company, to restrain oneself) and Six of Wands is to be under the control of others. King of Wands is the uncontrolled, impulsive fellow. We are dong life stories.

Six of Wands is ‘up to something,’ is cheating, pretending otherwise, and even covert opposition or false friend. Chariot is responsible and upfront, gets the job done. King of Wands is the workingman. His temper may allow him to be duped or manipulated (Six of Wands).

Four of Swords remains, sleeps through, is retired and does not participate or respond. King of Wands is the excitable live-wire type of man.

Six of Wands means ‘misled,’ and King of Wands is impulsive; Chariot + Four of Swords is ‘did not intend to do that. There’s a story!

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Six of Wands in Rider Waite represents the story of King Richard III’s abduction and captivity into Arab hands via his second in command who ruled in his stead: betrayal, false friend, false victory, being misled or deceived. The sneaky bastard.

Chariot is a vehicle, huh?  Its main theme is accomplishing the purpose. Charioteers were the ‘special forces’ of their day. This is a Rider Waite Tarot card of magic: Note he is controlling his steeds with wands, not reins. The story is: One sphinx steed will go only left, the other only right, and our strategist has hitched them on the opposite site of their chosen proclivity so they have to go straight ahead.

Four of Swords      Time out. Unresponsive. He isn’t having anything to do with (anything. You.) Asleep. Retired. Indifferent. Is staying. Lying around. The knight candidate spends a night meditating in a church to receive his vision, which he tells the bishop, who gets to accept it or not. So this could be a vision quest or meditating. Not today.

King of Wands      Salamanders are ‘fire’ and ‘fiery’ in Middle Ages belief systems. They identify this King as having a temper, being a hothead, being impulsive, brash, uninhibited, passionate, a redneck or blowhard, and so on. He is also the husband card (because the Queen of Wands is the domestic engineer type).

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ’all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures. This is the meaning of each separate card. This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day).
