GUIDANCE     A good recipe for a stable family life is the sensible skilled lady-wife in charge of the money, policing the family. And she’s legally wed to the family, of course. While we are at it, we are seeing this kind of established order as a good recipe for a stable national life as well, but ‘sensible’ isn’t native to that climate; it has to be grafted in by the families that operate that way.  So we gotta get married and live happily ever after, you hear?

Queen of Pentacles – I think of her as the Italian Matriarch because Queen of Pentacles perfectly fits a stereotype about being the proud family woman, being fiercely loyal and devoted to her people, her husband, her kids, often being devoted in a possessive way, being the woman who backs and supports her man’s business or endeavors.

.

Holding that coin and fondly looking at it, surrounded by signs of fertility (including a bunny), suggests Queen of Pentacles handles and manages finances, and she does. That scene also shows being in possession, which is another theme of this Rider Waite Tarot card. This card translates ‘in possession of’ at times. Queen of Pentacles can be a bookkeeper, and is often the investor, contributor, or backer of other people’s enterprises. She can be ‘the angel investor.’ But she has money of her own too; she ‘has the money to pay for.’

.

Queen of Pentacles is famous for taking care of other people, being nurturing and supportive, and supporting financially. Sometimes she supports her man financially.

.

if you are researching this Queen of Pentacles card, Google ‘Queen of Pentacles Tarot Verbatim’ because I have written descriptions of the personality of Queen of Pentacles in other posts.

Four of Wands – The picture shows the public wedding of a public person, so we have a theme of marriage, of important people, of public interest. Four of Wands primarily is about house, home, marriage, family. The justice card makes Four of Wands say ‘legal marriage.’ Very important for romance inquiries: it can promise Lover marries you, or warn you that he is married. It will translate ‘spouse’ which of course amounts to ‘husband’ or ‘wife,’ even while it also can mean ‘husband and wife.’

.

All the marriage cards in Tarot Verbatim™ enlarge to any size human group, from the couple to the family to the neighborhood, city, county, district, state nation, international. All the marriage cards can be caught saying ‘people’ and plural pronouns like ‘we,’ ‘they,’ ‘them,’ and ‘us,’ too. Four of Wands particularly refers to companies, organizations, interest groups, public affairs and public gatherings. You see a public gathering in its illustration.

Justice – Of course justice refers to the whole justice industry, the legal cartel from the regulators to the police and all the policing agencies to the politicians and all their inspectors and collectors, the judges from municipal court to supreme court, the jail system, from the building inspector to the Attorney General. That’s a lot of paychecks you support there. So Justice will translate any and all of them, even to saying ‘Establishment,’ a word that usually belongs to Hierophant, and Justice will of course translate: legal, legally, law, legal affairs.

.

Justice habitually translates ‘right’ in all its senses: right meaning ‘correct’; right meaning ‘a right to’; right meaning entitlement; right meaning fair. Justice can translate ‘deserve’ and ‘deserving’ as part of this ‘right’ complex of words.

.

Note that this ‘fair’ and ‘entitled’ category of Justice’s meanings can be from the perspective of the person or scene you are asking about: a mooch thinks the loot is ‘fair,’ that “It’s not fair” when his supply is cut off. A bully thinks it has the right to intimidate and annoy, and a victim who deprives him of his sport is ‘unfair.’ Reminds you of the divine right of kings, doesn’t it? – Daddy knows best.

.

‘Should’ and ‘ought’ are very frequent words for Justice – very frequent, right after the ‘right’ complex. The scales give Justice a category of words about balance. Today, Queen of Pentacles is the bookkeeper, so the books are balanced. Along with things being the way they ought to be comes ‘sane,’ ‘sensible,’ and ‘sanity,’ which also is part of the ‘balance’ concept of Justice.

…………..…………. …………………….

.

Whenever you see Four of Wands and Justice or Ten of Cups and Justice, you think ‘legal marriage’ first. The other card in our today-spread is Queen of Pentacles, the woman who takes care of her folks, is devoted to family, is the backer, the woman who supports, handles the money, and/or has the money. We have a domestic scene of a stable marriage with a strong skilled lady-wife. Queen of Pentacles with Four of Wands translates ‘the lady of the house,’ for instance.

.

Queen of Pentacles and Four of Wands pictures a woman caring for and devoted to the family and/or spouse – or even being devoted to some organization such as a political party or church – because Queen of Pentacles does support causes, you know. This pair of Rider Waite cards also depicts handling other people’s money or supporting other people. It also shows a woman well-paid by a company for her talents. Queen of Pentacles also depicts investing in real estate or investing in a house, maintaining the house, paying for the house or even being paid for the house (say, rent, or selling it). Four of Wands and Queen of Pentacles also tell of a woman who handles the marriage well.

.

Queen of Pentacles and Justice right off the bat say ‘the right woman’ and ‘the sensible woman.’ Even without Four of Wands to indicate a household, the household is in her capable hands … and she’s right about whatever-it-is. She handles the money fairly too: She balances (Justice) the books, because Justice is balance, and the money in her lap makes her a bookkeeper-card. She also handles legal matters, makes the right investment, and deserves the money she possesses. Queen of Pentacles’ contribution is things being as they should be.

.

Justice is also the whole police state industry, and Four of Wands is an organization, so we have any kind of police or policing organization, and we also have a law firm, which of course is part of the justice industry. We also say ‘sensible people’ or ‘the right kind of people,’ which includes the right party or other organization. Take any meaning of Four of Wands and add ‘right’ to it for Justice, and you have a list that would include things like legal affairs in your marriage, the house that’s right for you, deserving people, being in the right company, a rights organization, what the family should do or be, the marriage you deserve (hopefully in a good way), marrying right, should have a home.

A woman who’s talented and sensible can make the right kind of home life and have the right kind of marriage because she has the ability to manage, and the ability to handle, people. Note we said she can; we are not putting the whole responsibility of the family’s well-being on her shoulders because we haven’t met them yet.

Our Daily Spread for Jan. 20, 2011

Tarot Reading 1-20-11

He isn’t married but feels he should be

Two of Swords
Four of Wands, Justice, Page of Pentacles

He cannot picture himself legally married.
He is not legally married.
He is the one who is putting a stop to his marriage, legally.
He contemplates ending his marriage legally.
He doesn’t think this marriage is right for him.
He sees himself legally married and that’s all.
He thinks of himself as a married man and that’s it.
He can’t think any farther than getting himself legally married.
He should marry, he knows he hasn’t done it.

Well, here we are. Marriage again. Legal marriage is Four of Wands with the Justice card. There it is, the first two! Justice means ‘should’ as well. The Page of Pentacles is ‘him’ and ‘he thinks’ and ‘he is.’ And then there is the brake, the 2 of swords, to stop him. The tone of this spread is his interest in marriage. Although it can easily read ‘He does not think of legally marrying,’ statistically speaking, this spread seldom would mean that. REMEMBER: We don’t have a question that limits and specifies the meanings, so we widely interpret what they COULD mean.

Our Daily Spread for Jan. 8, 2011

Tarot reading 01-08-11

She knows so she can make it happen right/legally

Strength Queen of Cups, Justice, Four of Wands

She has taken charge of her situation:  She knows he is legally marrying her. She thinks of how to get him to get married to her. Nice girl asserts herself to make him marry her. She knows he is legally married but she can handle this. Her knowledge about how to get things done makes her the expert in the law firm. This little lady keeps the family members straight. She has the hands-on knowledge to make things be the way they should be in the company. She is knowledgeable about family law:  She wins. She handles the company’s lawsuits – she knows how. This sweet lady is the one who deals with legal departments assertively. She makes companies comply with the regulations that she knows. The girl knows the house rules are enforced by a strong woman. This is her family, she should solve their problems. She knows that bossy woman is pressuring him to marry her.

This is about being assertive when you know your stuff, that that is the way to have the right result. Getting him to legally marry you is done through strength of character plus knowing HIM.
