Tarot Readings for You for October 19, 2013 Saturday(c)

Guidance      Women’s lives: We find parallels in sex life, spiritual life, being knowledgeable at work, and getting out of the house for some fun. You could say these are empowering? Strangely “Knowledge is power” is expressed by the same two cards that say “Sex with the Other Woman.” Knowledge is power and spiritual knowledge is freedom. Women who stay home have to get out of the house and celebrate their freedom. And then we find a sexy fella who delivers that fun sex to them if they don’t get out of the house.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Ace of Wands

Queen of Wands – High Priestess – Sun

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

. Queen of Wands drops in again!  She and High Priestess are both woman who stay in one place, both competent and knowledgeable – Queen of Wands about practical things and High Priestess about theoretical, scholarly or spiritual matters.  Queen of Wands is the hands-on mama or manager; High Priestess is bookish. Queen of Wands is a married woman, and High Priestess appears as ‘the Other Woman’ and as single although she doesn’t specifically and necessarily mean ‘single.’

Now here comes Sun to liven things up (or to be a child). Sun is enjoyment, fun, freedom, ducking out for vacation time. Then we have the idea of getting out of the house, getting away from serious things and being free, having fun … even being reckless. This immediately suggests these ladies getting out for a night on the town.

Queen of Wands (the sensible woman or mama) and Sun say “The sensible woman and her fun fella” or “The kid ducks out of the house rules.” Queen of Wands and Sun also say the wife gets out of the house for some fun.

Lastly is Ace of Wands, another regular visitor lately, who means sex, primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline.

Today Sun is situated as ‘boy toy’ with the penis next to him and two women on the other side. Sun and Ace of Wands say “You have to get out and have some fun.”

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Queen of Wands rules her domain, is in command at work, is a practical common-sense hands-on married woman … your mama. Maybe a nurse or schoolteacher. She is depicted having a big stick in one hand and a sunflower in the other, a cat sitting as upright and looking as alert as she does in front of her.

High Priestess is an expert, knows more than she admits to, and quietly stays in one place.  She is feminine and mysterious, the quiet type.  This card stands for the feminine principle as the Magician stands for the masculine.  She tends to be alone, therefore is often single. She shows up as the Other Woman partly because she is associated with waiting since her main meaning is to be alone in one place.  The illustration on this Rider Waite Tarot citizen has Kabbalah symbols on it.

Sun The boy is a free spirit having reckless fun in the summertime, unhindered by any rules including those of common sense.  He has left the house to play naked on a pony who is taking a very dim view of his frolic.  Today he is situated as ‘boy toy’ with the penis next to him and two women on the other side.

Ace of Wands, another regular visitor here, is associated with male gender and with sex since it has a penis look to it the way it is drawn in our Rider Waite deck.  Primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline are also part of Ace of Wands’ dictionary.

Tarot Readings for You for June 21, 2013 Friday(c)

Guidance     A cat-fight, they call it, when women go at one another. Girls don’t fight fair, you know; they can be sneaky and they can be more forceful than guys who think fighting is sport. When the boss – whether it’s the wife and mother, or whether it’s the manager – is faced with defiance or covert trouble-stirring, she must make order out of disorder.

We got some ladies in an family fight, or we got workplace rivalry involving females. That is just about the only story here, folks – variations on a theme.

In the middle is Ten of Pentacles, the dysfunctional family or group of people. Trouble stirred, malcontents in the tribe, rivalry and power struggle in the human clan. This is the Rider Waite-Tarot Verbatim(TM) take on Ten of Pentacles. Other decks and other Tarot maestros have a different perspective on Ten of Pentacles. In Rider Waite, look at the picture: It’s a family dispute. And in Tarot Verbatim(TM), we take the picture literally and apply it. So there.

On either side of Ten of Pentacles are two woman, both homebodies: Queen of Wands and High Priestess.

Queen of Wands runs a ‘tight ship’ of a household: She keeps order. She is The Mama … got a flower in one hand and a big stick in the other. Got that alert look you expect from mama. She is of course the wife as well.

High Priestess sits there with a book in her lap. She is well-read, knows all, and is quiet about her expertise. She is in the background, associated with being alone, staying in one place, being single, being ladylike and quiet – passive. These meanings arise from her position as the female principle in Tarot, as Magician is the male principle – esoteric perspectives from the magic department. So she is secretive and behind the scenes, and even behind things that are happening: possibly even an instigator.

And at the head of our Tarot table today sits Ace of Wands, dominance, defiance, dealing strongly with something, assertive action. It often means ‘must,’ ‘have to’ and such terms. It can be a smackdown, since the hand with the club in it is what’s illustrated. Here, in present company, that is more likely than usual.

EXPLANATIONS: [Use the arrow at lower right to skip this and go to Comments.]

All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim(TM).

In these group readings, there’s no question (and no Questioner) to limit what the four cards can mean, so they can mean opposite things.

When there is a negative-meaning card (a ‘negator,’ I call them), the readings contradict one another because that card can make any of the other cards in the spread negative. Negator cards mean things like: no, never, not, end, can’t, etc. Never be queasy about the number of ‘bad’ card because it takes two bad cards to say ‘not dead’ and only one to say ‘dead.’

Without a question or a Questioner, pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, they, etc.) are very flexible. I leave out pronouns in writing this as much as possible – awkward to do that sometimes. When I put them in parentheses, feel very free to change them around to suit yourself.

Now in a ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question which provides at least half the information! In an individual’s reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading, we cannot do that and so we get more variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot successfully addresses the group of visitors, whoever they are. It provides useful information that applies to their daily lives: They tell you this in the comments, for three years now. Tarot can tell you things about people you don’t know personally – such as whoever on your job has a say in your raise or continued employment there, whether that is one person or many. Visitors report that the information is equally accurate for new visitors as it is for the family of regular visitors.

Do you want to read Rider Waite Tarot, yourself? Start with Learn Tarot by Pictures to get the day’s cards’ individual meanings; then read Learn Tarot by Observation, which gives you the thinking those four cards inspire in a qualified reader. Next, Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading is the various things those four cards can say (without a question to guide them). Then, Guidance is a summary.

In this way, your intuition allows you to learn to read the cards without much effort if you come often enough. Regular visitors can just put it together.

Our Daily Spread for October 19, 2011 Wednesday©

Advice has interesting parallels.  Sex lives,  spiritual lives,  and being knowledgeable at work are on the same track in this reading!  ‘Knowledge is power’  is expressed by the same two cards that say  ‘Sex with the Other Woman.’  Knowledge is power,  and spiritual knowledge is freedom.  Women who stay at home have to get out and have some fun sometime.  And we have the sexy fella who delivers to them if they don’t get out.

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Our Daily Spread for July 24, 2011 Sunday

Today’s question is: How to get ahead, what to do. Advice about ‘How to get ahead’ is esoteric today mostly. It mainly says ‘Wise up and get on with it before it’s too late.’ How important it is to determine your priority and act upon it! The main emphasis is on leaving the kind of life that is going in all directions behind for what is important to you in your private meditation–and to have that private meditation. Avoid out-of-control people and aggressive people. ===================================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

========================================================= MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD Seven of Cups is about out-of-control, and Ace of Wands is about being in control. Seven of Cups is confusion, and High Priestess is wisdom. Seven of Cups is everything falling to pieces, and High Priestess is being is peace alone. Both these cards can refer to occult knowledge and practice, but not today. Seven of Cups is being confronted with a situation beyond your control, and Six of Swords is escaping that sort of thing. High Priestess is being in peace alone, and Ace of Wands is threat or force, or threatened force. Obviously, our story is about wising up before it’s too late! MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS Seven of Cups is seriously out of hand, out of control – chaos and confusion confront. Its story is Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. A terrible shock, and nothing you can do about it, no warning probably. The black figure is the magician who made a mistake and conjured up bad stuff he can’t put back in the bottle or box. Six of Swords is getting out while the getting is good, in the Tarot Verbatim ™ system. Leaving with help. Putting the chaos behind and quietly getting out like a refugee to avoid a worse situation. It suggests the future will be better than the past they are escaping, but better because almost anything would be an improvement. Illustration in Rider Waite shows a woman and child escaping in a boat, a friend operating the humble craft. Ace of Wands impels, compels, forces, is assertive and aggressive, is Number One. It can be macho aggression, since the illustration in Rider Waite is reminiscent of a penis. It often simply means ‘the most important’ as in the most important factor or vitally important to do. High Priestess is the wise woman, is spiritual, knowing, to wise up, being in the background, sitting or sedentary, knowing and not acting, waiting, being alone, a woman alone, being a secretary or bookkeeper, occult knowledge, or anything to do with study because of the book in her lap. The appears as ‘the other woman’ too. The illustration shows a seated woman with the equal-armed cross on her chest and symbols of the Kaballah behind and around her.
