Tarot Readings for You for March 3, 2015 Tuesday©

GUIDANCE      We describe what it feels like to seek and not know, and to find out and be surprised or skeptical. Always looking for something, and we may not know what it is until we find it, and even then we are not so sure. A friend helps. Our point is: This is the way it is, nothing unusual – this is the status quo. There’s no anxiety here about this at all.

.

Are YOU here for the first time?   Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

I don’t know whether this new consciousness is practical.

I didn’t know what I was looking for until I found it.

I have a friend who enlightens me when I don’t know.

You find out the truth and wonder still!

You wonder if it’s true, you seek the facts, you find out.

You go from doubting to being surprised by the facts.

Look again when you are in doubt.

A sincere search seems to open up a whole new vista.

Asking myself whether I’m on the right track for enlightenment.

Question what you are told – look for yourself.

I seem to be morphing into being a seeker!

I have encountered a puzzling new consciousness on my path.

Honestly asking myself whether to change.

An objective inquiry into a whole new perspective.

A religious person questions his revelation.

Am I sincere in seeking enlightenment?

…..…..

Tarot Readings: Recover with a Doctor (Judgment and Hermit)

The doctor’s questions changed my life.

You recover when the doctor asks you questions.

What if you go looking for your own recovery?

Will I recover with this doctor?

Tarot Readings: Asking Again (Judgment and Seven of Pentacles)

Not so sure about being a friend again.

Considering being honest next time.

I think I can get sober again.

I think I am going back there to check it out.

I think I’m right this time.

Whether to tell the truth.

I seek an honest response to my question.

Can I go back to being devoted?

Did he tell me the truth?

What did the old man say?

.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Judgment – Hermit – Seven of Pentacles

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

………………………      It’s almost the scientific method: We go from doubt (Seven of Pentacles) to searching for the facts or the truth (Hermit) to discovery (Judgment). The story of my life is, I am always hunting, looking (Hermit), wondering (Seven of Pentacles), and then I find a new perspective, a new phase (Judgment). The point is, yes, that’s the way it goes. We ponder (Seven of Pentacles) and we learn (Hermit), and then we discover a conclusion (Judgment).

………………………..    Judgment is the Aha moment. Judgment is the new life, the revelation or enlightenment that makes the next phase, the discovery that gives us new life. Its illustration shows people returning to life who died: That’s recovery. That’s a new phase, a new perspective, a re-do … lots of ‘re’s there. The discovery, news, and revelation categories of meanings for Judgment come, of course, from the angel’s horn that awakens the dead. (Naturally, the angel can apply literally.)

With all this application to life path and salvation, it’s easy to ignore the mundane applications of Judgment, such as to return, to go back there, to realize or remember something, the musical instrument (horn, but it can be any instrument), even an alarm clock waking you up. Apply the concept of waking up and going back and redoing to anything at all.

………………………..   Hermit is out looking to help people, so he is out looking, and he helps people. He is coming to another person or people; he is looking for or seeking (anything); he is a friend; he is a doctor or counselor (or other healer) because that is what doctors wore back then. A doctor on the road can be a paramedic or ambulance personnel – not today. Hermit is an old or older man, is a wise person, and is a friend – especially a friend who helps. Hermit is also a pedestrian, and a person who is going from one place to another, traveling. He can represent a search on roads.

………………………..   Seven of Pentacles  represents those times there’s no way to know right now, times when not knowing is perfectly acceptable, because no one else would know either. This man has planted, weeded, watered, and is wondering whether his cucumber plant will bear, because it is one of those gendered plants. Seven of Pentacles is a ‘Duh’ card. ‘Duh’ is a gear in our brain when we either really don’t know and wonder, or when we slip into that because we don’t really want to know. Since we are confused, we can’t tell the difference, and that is what Seven of Pentacles is all about. Today, he has a friend who enlightens him.

……….………….   Judgment and Hermit  are both potentially religious and spiritual cards. Hermit is seeking, is the truth, represents virtues, is a friend, is sincere, is even a religious person, a monk (but it means ‘practical’ and has a ‘factual’ category of meanings). Judgment is new consciousness, new perspective, and enlightenment, is life-changing, is even a revelation. Here are the sentences for this theme:

This new consciousness is practical.

I have a friend who enlightens me.

You find out the truth.

You seek the facts, you find out.

Being surprised by the facts.

A sincere search to open up a whole new vista.

Whether I’m on the right track for enlightenment.

Morphing into being a seeker!

I have encountered a new consciousness on my path.

Honestly to change.

An objective _ into a whole new perspective.

A religious person’s revelation.

Sincere in seeking enlightenment.

what I was looking for until I found it.

Judgment is a ‘re-‘ word; it means again, go back to, next time, the second time around, etc. Hermit represents virtue, as I said, and here are some: a friend, honest, sober, being right, being devoted, and checking things out. Here are those sentences:

Being a friend again.

Be honest next time.

Get sober again.

I am going back there to check it out.

I’m right this time.

Go back to being devoted.

Hermit is looking; Judgment means ‘again’ and also it is a speak, say, tell word – that theme. Here are those sentences:

Look again.

what you are told: Look for yourself.

Hermit is the truth, and Judgment is speak, say, tell, etc. Here are those sentences:

Tell the truth.

_ happens … tell the truth.

Tell me the truth.

Hermit is a doctor and Judgment is recovery, and here are those sentences:

Most of us most of the time are looking for something, wondering about something, and what we learn surprises us, often, on these missions. It’s not just finding our keys in the refrigerator; it’s discovering along the way about the meaning of life, to us personally, in our own context, as we go along our way, and experiencing those shifts in perspective and that widening of the spectrum of our vision as we see more and more (uh, and get older).

.

Judgment ……….. Judgment is the place in the story where you find out what it was all about. Judgment is the revelation, the announcement, the news, the discovery, and the awakening. There’s a hint of ‘well, now that I know’ to Judgment. Judgment is recovery and a new life, physically, in the same way it is discovering the truth on your life path and going on from there. You see the angel awakening the dead on Judgment Day, which makes this one of the legal cards, with his horn, which makes it one of the music and performance cards. Combine ‘realizing’ with ‘happening again,’ and you get ‘flashback’ for Judgment.

.

Hermit …………. Hermit is looking to help. Hermit is any kind of search, from ‘the meaning of life’ to where I put my keys, or an organized search involving many people. Hermit also represents most of the virtues, since he is a monk: chastity, honesty, being helpful, being a friend, coming to someone who is in need. Hermit is on the road, which makes it one of the cards about traveling, especially on foot. Less obvious is Hermit meaning ‘the facts,’ factual, practical or pragmatic … ‘real,’ genuine. Watch for Hermit to indicate that what you need to know comes to you. It means a friend brings you information sometimes.

.

Seven of Pentacles …………. Seven of Pentacles is ‘I wonder.’ It says ‘What if.’ It means doubt about the outcome because he cannot know whether his plant will bear, after all the work he has done; he just has to wait. That makes Seven of Pentacles one of the ‘Duh’ cards – one of the cards that means either a person doesn’t really know and is wondering and pondering, or that the person is in what I call ‘Duh Gear,’ pretending – maybe even to himself – that he doesn’t know, ‘acting innocent, as we say. Seven of Pentacles turns your sentence into a question, very often.

Advice      When we are told a truth,  or when the news is scary,  we get upset;  but we also calm down … or are calmed down by a caring friend … and we look for ways to change our situation,  or to change ourselves.  An older friend tells him something about himself that upsets him.  A handsome young man who is celibate realizes this is getting on his last nerve.  The good-looking fellow comes to you;  he is back and you are nervous.

…….. …....…..

Nine of Swords

Hermit  – Page of Wands  –  Judgment

Is this the first time you come here?   Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It  is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions?  –  You are done now  – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little,  or a lot,  about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Observation of the Spread section below.  This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread  –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together to mean things.

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment!  I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day.  (3-6-9-12 like a clock.  It makes a pattern on the phone as well  –  easy to remember.)  I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives,  and even make it fun.  (Testimonials are on the web site.  https://emilysinsight.com.)

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Two of these Rider Waite citizens refer to speaking or an announcement – Page of Wands and Judgment.  And they each also mean a good person.   Page of Wands is to speak or tell,  simply.  Judgment means a formal announcement,  speak loudly,  news,  to sound an alarm.

(Page of Wands also means young,  good-looking or handsome,  well-dressed,  a good-guy or good reputation and to  ‘speak up’  or  ‘stand up,’  as well as name or identity.)

(Judgment also means change,  to return to a former state or condition,  new life,  realization,  wakes up,  to appear unexpectedly (pop up),  sudden,  to go back to,  and  “re”  words:  resume, recover, restore.)

100 sentences could be written in a jiffy here.  This is a good spread for learners of Tarot.  Here are some examples of common phrases and concepts from two-card combinations contained in this spread (and these are just a few):

Hermit is old and wise,  Page of Wands is young and immature:  “his friend who is older and wiser.”    Hermit is wise and Page of Wands is words:  words of wisdom.   Hermit is a friend who helps and Page of Wands is tells;  so this means a wise friend talks to you,  or you tell your wise friend something.  (Since Page of Wands is self and one’s image,  the conversation could be personal.)

Judgment is change and Nine of Swords is something to worry about or that is scary (so  ‘afraid of change’  or a scary change).  Judgment is news and Nine of Swords is scary (really bad news announcement).  Judgment means recover and Nine of Swords is stress or insomnia (recover from stress or insomnia).  Judgment is to wake up,  and Nine of Swords is a bad dream.  (I could go on!)

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:

INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Page of Wands A nice young man,  well-dressed and well-spoken  –  the  ‘fair-haired boy,’  if you please  – speaks up.  The meanings for him include self,  speak,  good person,  name,  identity,  handsome or good-looking,  young,  to stand up,  to be yourself,  optimist,  honest.

Judgment depicts resurrection day (one of the cards inserted in the Middle Ages to keep the deck from being something evil) with the angel blowing the trumpet to wake the dead.  The meanings for him include to speak,  change,  announcement or declaration,  verdict,  return to a former state or condition,  new life,  realization,  sudden,  speak to the dead,  resume,  recover,  restore,  unexpected appearance,  goes back to,  alarm,  awakes.

Nine of Swords You don’t need to be told;  the illustration says it all:   A person in a nightgown sits up holding his/her face in the classic  ‘What am I going to do?’  stance.  The meanings for him include nightmare, worry,  up nights or can’t sleep, crying,  fear or afraid,  insomnia,  anxiety,  upset,  grief,  gets on (his) nerves,  wake up in the middle of the night,  stays up late,  scary.
