Guidance

Handling losses, handling things we are ashamed of. Lumped together are: turning around losses in business; getting out of bad relationships; going back to a bad relationship to make it work; ashamed of going back to a bad relationship; getting out of a dismal experience and into a rewarding one. We also see that we did our part and still lost out … oh well. There’s a turnaround from a down-point in all these different scenarios, so our ambiance (tone) is upbeat after all is said and done.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Synopsis

In commerce, and in social intercourse whether it’s friendship or love affair, crashing and bouncing back can be a shortcut. A major blunder with a loser … or being that loser … can get you farther – sometimes – than sane steady progress as you develop and unfold like a flower led by the sunshine. Of course, we don’t crash on purpose; we find ourselves in a heap and figure how to get back on course. The fact that we have accelerated our life purpose … well, that’s a happy accident. Or is it?

Knight of Swords

Knight of Swords

Turning things around. Making a quick change, going in the opposite direction. Turning your life around. Knight of Swords is quite often ‘not anymore!’ Adrenalin rush, excitement, great energy here.

The high speed is the constant in Knight of Swords: See the horse fly, and his helmet’s scarf fly? He brandishes that heavy sword upright over the horse’s head as if about to close in on what he is pursuing. Knight of Swords is rushing through, is a sudden strike. Knight of Swords very frequently translates ‘suddenly.’ (He is in that theme, yes.) Knight of Swords today is about going back, changing, rushing through, and about reversals of direction. Two of Knight of Swords’ most common words are ‘immediately’ and ‘instantly.’

Knight of Swords switches and changes – changes sides, switches direction, reverses. Most often, he is either leaving and getting out, or in a hurry to get back in. He is anything but sticking to his momentum!

Three of Pentacles

Three of Pentacles

A general contractor or architect is having a settlement meeting with his clients here, demonstrating to them – with the blueprints – that he has done the work per their agreement. This meeting entitles him to his profit, his last draw or payment, per their contract or agreement. Point is : He has done his part, and they are agreeable to live up to their part of the agreement or contract.

Three of Pentacles’ meanings grow out of this scene: A relationship, a meeting, a deal, agreement or contract in which each party or person performs his/her part. You are allies who have mutual interests and who make plans and deals when you meet up, each person (or party) doing his (its) part fair and square. ‘Fair’ is a major consideration to Three of Pentacles.

Putting our heads together is what Three of Pentacles is all about. This applies even to the most intimate relationships, despite the fact that it’s a contractual relationship that is depicted (pictured) here.

Three of Pentacles is a legal card too: negotiation, proceeding or meeting, settlement. We are putting our heads together. It is a mutually agreed upon plan.

Five of Cups

Five of Cups

You see spilled wine here, a cliché for waste and sorrow, not to mention being sorry and mourning, regrets about the past, being – or feeling like – a loser. Five of Cups is of course also about drinking – drinking as a drain, drinking as a loss: alcoholism, we call his. Five of Cups is feeling ‘lower than a snake’s belly.’

[Okay, Tarot isn’t prejudiced about alcohol: Three of Cups represents the joy of drinking, and so does (less obviously) Nine of Cups.] But this Five of Cups Rider Waite Tarot card isn’t limited to the alcohol issue. It is much deeper, and much more of a downer, than that.

You see a person in black on a very gray day, head bent, contemplating the waste as the water passes under the bridge. Oh God, I wish I had … or I wish I hadn’t. Oh God, I’m so sorry. This is the numbness of grief (See Five of Pentacles for that.)

Now Without The Pictures

We have the deal or the relationship in Three of Pentacles. We have the loss that makes us feel bad in Five of Cups. And – good! – we have the turnaround in Knight of Swords. Our overall story is getting out of a bad situation and into one that is working, one in which we do our part and others do theirs. (Three of Pentacles is famous for that sentiment!)

With Knight of Swords meaning ‘not anymore’ as a result of its change of direction, well, when Five of Cups, feeling like or being a loser, joins him, that makes ‘not a loser anymore.’

Knight of Swords and Three of Pentacles is one of those classics: Leaving the relationship … or pursuing a relationship … or suddenly it’s a mutual deal. Think of Knight of Swords as one of those fellows who cannot make up his mind: He means to leave; he means to come back; he means to leave-and-return (a U-turn on the road sometimes); and he means going back and forth. It’s the fault of the cards around him: consult with them!

This spread applies to every part of life: business, love relationships, friendships, and meetings to settle up things.

Our Daily Spread, May 3, 2011

HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you. They are a Tarot analysis of your day’s circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. The question is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.” Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day!

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.

The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day. I analyze business situations accurately too.

...

Knight of Swords

Five of Wands – Five of Cups – Hanged Man

Five of Wands, which shows fellows whacking each other with boards in some kind of competition (whether sport or combat) refers to intense effort; Hanged Man is an intense idea or inspiration. It shows a fellow with yellow halo emanating from his head while he is upside down: mental energy.

Knight of Swords also involves great energy, the kind it takes to get out of or turn something around. Knight of Swords is in a hurry. His Sword is ready to attack whoever he is after … which reminds us of the fight in the Five of Wands, doesn’t it? … and his horse’s feet are off the ground, his clothing is flying.

And right in the middle of all of this is depression over a regrettable loss in the past, an intense feeling of a different kind from Hanged Man. Guilt, shame, grief, preoccupation with the past in a sad way.

.

.

So the story here, the advice, is to get past a preoccupation with the bad part of the past; to use the bad scene that haunts you to fire yourself up to do something that changes that scene.  Let the torpor inspire you to action.  Get the idea to go back to the fight you lost. We also say failure is a phase: You either get out before you get to that point, or you go on to either do something else or return to battle with new strategies.

.

.
