Guidance

Whether we decide to get out, or decide to get on with it, we decide fast and do the move fast. We are also taking on the responsibility to do several things at a time – to multitask. We even are on the road getting somewhere faster by over-the-road transport. Rush is the keyword for the moment – but we are getting there, we are accomplishing the task.

You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

Knight of Wands

Knight of Wands

Knight of Wands is obviously about movement and about hurry – about being on the road in a hurry too (speeding). You can see great energy in the racing horse. Getting ahead, being on the fast track, rush jobs, rushing through.

Eight of Wands

Eight of Wands

Main meanings of Eight of Wands in our spread today are: one after the other, many, a lot of, fast and quickly and hurriedly and rush. Eight of Wands, though, often is about communications of any sort – verbal and written of course, but this Eight of Wands could be smoke signals or telepathy. The picture doesn’t relate to that, but this shows up in real Tarot practice.

Chariot

Chariot

First, the chariot is a vehicle, so it is any transportation. The Charioteers in their day ran the war show, and their strategies were responsible for victory. So Chariot is in charge of getting the job done, is the project manager. Chariot is getting it done by any means possible, which is expressed by the fact he uses magic wands to get (his vehicle) ahead, and it’s magic sphinxes he has hitched to his chariot. Today he is all about getting it done, about responsibility, about deciding and accomplishing. Chariot is purpose, aim, success and ambition, commonly. He can simply be the manager in some spreads.

Now Without The Pictures

Two cards that mean fast (Knight of Wands and Eight of Wands), and one that means a vehicle and getting ahead and getting something done(Chariot). So obviously we are all about getting something done in a hurry.

We are about taking charge, being responsible, when you know Chariot is the manager – the project manager, the strategist.

A small factor is that Eight of Wands means many, more, a lot of, a list, one thing after another, as well as talk (or any communication). It’s ‘many’ category of meanings, when it joins with Chariot who gets it done, says ‘multitasking,’ which is kind of unexpected. But it does.

Knight of Wands and Chariot is a speeding vehicle. These two Rider Waite Tarot cards say ‘deciding (Chariot) to get ahead (Knight of Wands).’ They are also on the fast track (Knight of Wands) to success (Chariot). Knight of Wands and Chariot are ‘decide to leave’ too.

Knight of Wands and Chariot BOTH mean ‘to get ahead’ and BOTH also mean ‘fast,’ which complicates the task of assigning cards to the phrases in the sentences.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.

*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

.……………….………..………..

Knight of Wands – Eight of Wands – Death

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………   In this spread we come to a stop at full speed, you could say. See the skid marks. Knight of Wands is obviously speeding on the road, and in a hurry. Eight of Wands can also mean speed, although it has some other more dominant translates for itself. Death means stop, the end, and any negative modifier. Speeding on the road (Knight of Wands) in the same spread as the card labeled Death is cautionary: Drive carefully today; the speeder may not be you.

………………………..   Knight of Wands is usually fleeing, running away or ‘getting out of Dodge.’ His rearing horse, the discombobulated look on his face, and even the way his weapon is at rest suggest he is not pursuing. However, this card can mean pursuit – especially ‘hot pursuit,’ strangely enough. He comes up for being I a hurry, and for rush and rush jobs, more than his twin the Knight of Swords. This is a card for ‘on the road’ too, for the traveling salesman.

………………………..    Eight of Wands means talk, any kind of communication, one thing after another, more and more (which makes Knight of Wands say ‘faster,’ not just fast), and quickly or any synonym of quickly. This is the card for documents, and the only hint of that in the illustration is the flying limbs look sort of like lines on paper.

..……………………….   Death is one of the simple cards in Tarot Verbatim. If it’s not serving up a negative modifier to another card, it usually means the end, stop, or some such word. Rarely in Tarot Verbatim does it mean the end of one thing and the beginning of another, as if should with ‘The kind is dead; long live the king’ going on in the illustration. Meanings in Tarot Verbatim are from the field, not attributed or assigned.

……….…………    Knight of Wands and Eight of Wands   Knight of Wands and Eight of Wands both are going fast. Eight of Wands, it’s not the leading meaning; Knight of Wands, it is. Knight of Wands is getting out in a hurry, leaving town, is a rush job, and is hot pursuit – common meanings. Eight of Wands more often means communication (say, tell, announce, text, written documents, a list, etc.) and means plurals – words like many, all, everyone, all sorts of, several – and it puts an ‘s’ on other cards. So the two of them are about rush and speed and hurry and faster.

Going nowhere fast: Knight of Wands says going fast, and so does Eight of Wands, so when you add Death as ‘nowhere,’ Knight of Wands and Death mean ‘Going nowhere fast,’ and adding Eight of Wands is redundant. But they could say ‘Everyone is going nowhere fast’ – which Knight of Wands and Eight of Wands do NOT say. Every once in a while you will encounter redundancies in your Verbatim Tarot™ spreads. Eight of Wands is also redundant for Knight of Wands to mean ‘fast track’ it just echoes the fast, or makes it say ‘faster’ other times.

Knight of Wands is also leaving, so Eight of Wands is leaving in a hurry or getting out of there fast. Knight of Wands is putting something behind him, so Eight of Wands makes that plural. Eight of Wand is talking so ‘Announces he is on the road’ when you add Knight of Wands. We also have ‘Tell him to leave’ that way. x..

……….…………    Knight of Wands and Death   Knight of Wands and Death is the ‘Speed kills’ phrase. With Death as the negative modifier, you have ‘not so fast’ phrases like: It’s not a rush job; don’t go fast; going nowhere fast; you didn’t because you were in a hurry; can’t run fast; in no hurry to.

Knight of Wands can’t get out of town with Death around; and he isn’t leaving; and he isn’t getting on the road, and he isn’t the man that got away. x..

……..…………    Eight of Wands and Death   Eight of Wands and Death puts a negative to words that mean talk or say, or puts a negative to words that mean fast. So we have phrases like: It isn’t just talk; not so fast; don’t go faster; some things cannot be; not one of those; not right away; didn’t say what I had to say; announces he is not or says he is not; not talking; don’t talk; could not express in words; without saying anything; not talking about.

Eight of Wands, as the plural, means ‘everybody’ sometimes so we have ‘Everybody can’t be’ when you add Death.

Eight of Wands means written and write. With Death, we read: You didn’t write it down. It could also say ‘not in written form’ or even ‘the end of the document.’ x..

We are running away from it and we are not talking about it. We are in no hurry about something. Everybody can’t be on the fast track, either. We are even leaving without saying anything. The psychology and the scenarios of haste and rushes are today’s concern.

.

HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS

……….…………    Knight of Wands and Eight of Wands   THE FAST TRACK Everyone on the fast track.* It’s the talk: He is on the fast track. One of the rush jobs. So fast – you are in a rush. Speed _, they say. Go faster. Write it down because you were in a hurry. Going fast on the road to _. Run fast to get out out town. Some things can be rushed. Many of us are leaving. Putting some things behind me. Announces he is going on the road. Says he is leaving. In a hurry to talk about this. Talks so fast. Express myself in words, and leave. Depart saying …. Tell him to leave.Talking about the man that got away. x..

……….…………   Knight of Wands and Death   Can’t be on the fast track. It isn’t just _; he is on the fast track. NOT SO FAST It’s not a rush job. Not so _; you are in a rush. DIDN’T LEAVE or LEFT AND DIDN’T …. … of us are leaving. Not leaving. Not one of those ‘just passin’ through’ guys. In no hurry. In no hurry to get out. Not to leave. Left, and didn’t …. I cannot run fast. Putting _ behind me: The End. He is not going on the road. He is not leaving. In no hurry to. Don’t _ so fast. Could not … so I left. Depart without ….***… it’s over – to leave. .

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Knight of Wands  …….. Knight of Wands is obviously in a hurry. Several clues point to his leaving or fleeing rather than pursuing. His rearing horse and the look on his face suggest panic. His weapon by his side, rather than extended suggest he isn’t engaging in battle. Nevertheless, this card says ‘hot pursuit’ once in a while, and means pursue. Just like Knight of Swords, who is obviously pursuing – blade extended, leaning over his horses neck, horse flying – also means fleeing. (I don’t make meanings up; they occur and are taken into account, and not all of them are ‘what you would think.’)

So Knight of Wands means anything regarding hurry, rush, leaving, getting out, moving to another place. But watch for the other meanings too. Obviously, other cards will say which direction this one is heading.

.

Eight of Wands ………….  Eight of Wands’ meanings don’t correlate with its illustration very well. The lines the flying limbs make look like lines of writing, which is as close as all its text and communication meanings come. It frequently means talk, and such words. You can see all the ‘quickly’ meanings: The boards are flying through the air. You can see all the plural meanings (and the fact it puts S’s on other cards’ words): One on top of another, they add up.

.

Death  …………. Death in Tarot Verbatim™ is largely a negative modifier. I haven’t seen another system this is true of. The illustration – the bishop taking possession of the crown of the dead king, to crown the next one – suggests succession, the end of one thing and the transition to another. You find this in other systems, some of them. Not here except once in a while, and the other cards will lead with that thought, this one just supporting the theme, whenever that happens. In Tarot Verbatim™, Death means no, never, not, won’t, don’t, etc. and ‘end’ or ‘stop.’ And not much else.
