Tarot Readings for You for December 3-4, 2018
Seven of Cups
Ace of Pentacles – Knight of Wands – Magician
Guidance |
This is about succeeding when things are a mess, when you have been taken by surprise, when you take initiative in an out-of-control situation and, by golly, it turns out well. It is about doing it yourself in a hurry whilst unprepared and there’s no instruction book. Which is what life is. We tend not to think of success as what we are currently doing on the fly; we tend to think of success as something we plan, and as a goal. Well, this says, it’s a process and you’re in it right now while you’re not lookin’. So give yourself credit for those unplanned achievements: Make the lists now.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

Ace of Pentacles
Here’s this hand with the big prize in it suspended over what is obviously ‘the right path’ which has white lilies in front and a trellis of roses for victory at its end. Meanings are obvious, don’t you think? Success. It is also right, correct, the right way or right road, the right path (or path you are on). It’s money, a prize, a bonus, the reward, and possessing, having it in hand. It also can mean ‘Yes.’
Knight of Wands
Here he is, looking a little scared I think, rushing on a rearing (also nervous) horse. He has his club in his hand, and his clothes are whipped by wind. Knight of Wands is fast, speed, getting ahead, making progress, getting away, getting out of town … and energetically.
Magician
Here he is, arm raised with the magic wand that makes things happen (or not happen), the tools of his trade on the table before him. The symbol of continuing action is over his head; it is a math symbol. Magician is doing it, pulling it off, creating. Magician is male energy, the male principle – and hence, a man or male. It means any form of the verb ‘do,’ so it means action and therefore is not limited to male doings. So it means ‘I’ as well, and ‘myself’ and ‘do it yourself’ or ‘do it myself.’
Seven of Cups
Seven of Cups depicts Pandora’s Box or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. A black-robed person is taken aback upon being presented with a motley cloud of mysterious forces. When you know that, you know the meanings are: various unrelated objects or subjects, confusion, miasma and chaos. It is also shock and awe, amazement, being presented with any number of things at once … or in this case (with these particular cards) doing all sorts of things at once. It is also going out of control or losing control of circumstances.
Now Without The Pictures |
Ace of Pentacles is success. It is also right, correct, the right way or right road, the right path (or path you are on). It is money, a prize, a bonus, the reward, and possessing, having it in hand.
Magician is doing it, pulling it off, creating. Magician is male energy, the male principle – and hence, a man or male. It means any form of the verb ‘do,’ so it means action and therefore is not limited to male doings. It means ‘I’ as well, and ‘myself’ and ‘do it yourself’ or ;do it myself.’ It also is any form of the verb ‘make,’ and words like ‘procure’ or ‘bring about.’ You see that as you read the sentences.
The other two cards are what creates all the ‘stories’ here. Knight of Wands is fast, speed, getting ahead, making progress, getting away, getting out of town … and energetically. Seven of Cups is ‘any old how’ – various unrelated objects or subjects, confusion, miasma and chaos. It is also shock and awe, amazement, being presented with any number of things at once … or in this case (with these particular cards) doing all sorts of things at once. It is also going out of control or losing control of circumstances.
