GUIDANCE        Today we look at being responsible and being irresponsible; at downfall and success; at creativity unleashed with discipline; at cheering up when you feel awful; at a person who is so masterful at handling highly stressful things that they are child’s play to him or her. We are taking control of our dark side, and also doing the wrong thing because it’s fun. I think the point is that we humans are not that consistent when it comes to willpower and mastering the near-impossible. (Present company excepted, of course?)

Sun What fun the impulsive little boy is having. He got out of the house into the yard nude and free. No one out here to tell him what to do, so he somehow mounts the disgruntled pony bareback. He has a huge banner unfurled as he unleashes himself, arms nowhere near the neck of the horse. Sun concentrates on these themes and ignores the hazard: the child; play; joy and fun; getting free of restrictions – house rules, of course; freedom. Sun is all about the impulsive, reckless, uninhibited, irresponsible nature on display here.

.

The ‘play’ expands to include ‘playboy,’ which also embraces bratty behavior. Sun can be the callous guy in a romance.

.

Sun also refers to daytime and sunshine.

.

You will find Sun saying ‘relief’ too, which grows out of the kind getting out from under the restrictions of the house.

Chariot Here’s the story: The drivers of chariots were the generals in war, the strategists in the battles, the leaders and decision-makers, and were responsible for the success of the mission and the fate of the nation. This card reflects all that and also has an occult application: Notice his steeds are evil sphinxes, and that he has a magic wand instead of reins. Various occult symbols are on him and his vehicle. A charioteer is the field commander who is a master at handling whatever comes up.

.

A chariot is a vehicle, so Chariot often is a car, truck – even a boat, airplane or lesser means of transport. Anything. Chariot can say ‘truck’ and ‘truck driver,’ as it does today.

.

Chariot is being in command. Today’s words for that are: mission; in control; run the show; in command; master at; taking control; handling.

.

Chariot is strategy. Chariot is choice and deciding, as well as choosing and being decisive.

.

And Chariot is success. That’s a very very common word for this Tarot card. Chariot is responsible and responsibility too.

.

Easily overlooked is that Chariot represents the personality traits of the other meanings: willpower, discipline, determination, and the ability to use obstacles to advantage.

Moon Moon (similar to Devil) can mean any awful horrible terrible thing, and will also say cuss words in your spreads if you are listening. It means some innocuous and even some nice things: creativity, and night time, for instance. And ‘lost,’ which may refer to your car keys.

.

Like Devil, Moon can translate ‘problem’ and ‘trouble. Like Devil, Moon can translate ‘vice’ and any vice you can think of. Moon can translate milder forms of this sort of thing, like, today, ‘misbehavior.’ Moon often represents a mistake or blunder, especially ‘the wrong road’ and the word ‘wrong.’ Wrong anything. Wrong decision, for instance, with Chariot. And Moon is the main card for lie, liar, and lying.

.

And here are today’s heavies, for Moon: wrecks, hell, crippling debt, f*** up, a lemon [car], it stinks, a tragic event, dark side, addiction, downfall, hates, delusion, horrible, feel awful, obsessed with.

.

I get screams of protest when I name Tarot Verbatim’s Moon meanings. Here’s why (at least in Rider Waite) Moon means these things: It represents the road to hell, literally, in antiquity. The twin towers were a real landmark, and they were considered to be the border ‘where dragons lived.’ A person took his life into his hands if he walked past those towers. And it seems to me that the notion of hell is more Hellenic than Hebrew, but I won’t argue it.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

…………..…………. …………………….

At first glance: Moon is a wrong road; Chariot is a vehicle; Sun is reckless. If you get these three cards in your Tarot reading, drive carefully and sanely. You may pick up on ‘ freedom of choice’ if you know Sun to be free and freedom, and Chariot to be decision and choice. The same goes for ‘ wrong choice’ since Moon is wrong. What I immediately gravitated to is the theme of taking charge and taking control of any sort of really bad situation in Chariot ( mastering) and Moon ( any awful thing). Then I saw a kid, Sun, running the show, Chariot, being a baad move, Moon. All of these are stories these three Tarot cards potentially tell.

.

Sun and Chariot are opposites, in that Sun is a reckless feckless young brat and Chariot is a very serious and responsible skilled adult on a mission.

.

These cards are not seen together. There are 3,003 possible two-card combinations, and my (Emily’s) site has nearly 2500 posts, so we cover any likely pair. If you Google two cards and Tarot Verbatim™ doesn’t have them, they are a rare pair. And in this spread, Sun and Moon have only one post in the archives, and Chariot and Moon don’t have any. Sun and Chariot are well-populated, though.

.

Moon See the two towers there? Two towers appear in several myths, always associated with evil. The face on the moon in the illustration is one hint. The dog and coyote (natural enemies) as pals is another. The lobster about to start a land journey, with arms raised in self-defense should make you wonder.

.

The two towers in our illustration are from the myth that started the whole two-tower scandal. Believe it or not, hell is a Greco-Roman concept, and it had a geographical location – yes, a certain given address. Hell was home to dragons and evil spirits, and the two towers marked the entrance.

.

So you are looking at ‘the road to hell’ here. This is why Moon is sometimes referred to as ‘the worst card in the deck.’ It can translate words like: worst, terrible, horrible, hideous, scary, fear – especially in the company of other ‘bad’ cards. Here is the worst Moon gets today: wrong thing, scandal, wrong way, wrong, bad place, bad stuff, bad, curse (meaning cuss), not legal, hate the way that, fear of, wreck, disabled, troubles, a mess, a lie, and crazy.

.

Today Moon is in good company. So Moon is behaving better than usual. Page of Wands is one of the specific good-guy cards, and Eight of Pentacles of course is work and doing the usual thing(s). Moon translates: dirty, potty, nasty, mistakes, is a big mistake.

.

Moon can be muse-like inspiration, can refer to the physical moon, can indicate nighttime, can indicate swampy land, and will even show up for two dogs. Not all its meanings are unpleasant.

Page of Wands Pages were apprentice knights who lived in a stranger knight’s home and learned the trade from him, so they were typically eager to fit into their new role. Page of Wands and Page of Pentacles reflect this. They each have meanings they do not share, of course. Page of Wands has three main trunks to his meaning tree besides the ones he share with Page of Pentacles.

.

Page of Wands is a proud (one of his words) card-carrying member of the Tarot speak/tell/say tribe. In our spread here, about half his translates are from that category: talk, words, to say, telling you about, gossip about, told you, mouth, yakking, remarks, they say, public speaking, and ‘he says he is.’

.

Almost as many of Page of Wands’ today words are about identity, about being a type of person, or are pronouns. Examples of these are: he is; I; he … all by himself; who I am; myself, I am; person being his best self; you’re the type of person; such a clean cut guy; a good guy like you; the good guy.

.

Page of Wands means ‘physical’ and also means ‘body.’ Those are once-in-a-while translates. He also fairly often is Prince Charming, is handsome or good-looking, and/or is young. The words ‘well-dressed’ and ‘well-spoken’ also come up once in a while because Page of Wands can refer to a fellow who is well-dressed, or is foppish (metrosexual), or even is vain and (too) proud of himself. In the same way, Page of Wands can be the favored son or worker, the ‘fair-haired boy,’ teacher’s pet.

Eight of Pentacles A carpenter keeps hammering, it’s his job. Those two things (job and being consistent) you can see in the illustration, and they are the two main categories of meanings of Eight of Pentacles. ‘Job’ refers to work, job site, task, ‘shop,’ employment, working on, and other phrases like that. It also refers to ‘labor’ in various ways.

.

One after the other, sequentially, over and over: This Eight of Pentacles card means that without it necessarily referring to the doing of something. And, separately, Eight of Pentacles does refer to doing, refers to being the one who is doing, refers to the hands-on part of a task (the field man, not the desk-job fellow).

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

           LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

…………..…………. …………………….

Three cards who have no meanings in common commonly make stories. (What else can they do?) When you see that your cards are not grouping along some theme, you next look for them to be grouping in contrast.

.

Today in our three-card spread we have the apprentice, a good guy, Page of Wands, and we have work and the usual routine ( Eight of Pentacles) – and we have the oops to that: Moon is mistake, something destroyed, something impossible, wrong, nasty – something bad in some way. ( Moon and Devil are both cards that mean a lot of bad things in general, including illness and bad feelings.)

.

Remember that a card in the speak/tell/say Tarot clan can soften the bad side of another in the spread. Page of Wands is such a card, so he can reduce any bad news from Moon into merely talking about whatever that might be. For example, we have “ Gossip about a scandal at a job site” instead of the scandal at the job site.

.

Moon in today’s spread applies to the speaking of Page of Wands as cuss words, talking dirty, the wrong thing to say, and even fear of public speaking, since Moon means ‘ fear.’

.

And Eight of Pentacles can soften a harsh word from Moon by adding ‘ like always’ or ‘ as usual,’ since Eight of Pentacles has those meanings in his dictionary. We could say the new guy ( apprentice, Page of Wands) is making the usual ( Eight of Pentacles) mistakes ( Moon).

.

We could also say he is proud ( Page of Wands) of doing ( Eight of Pentacles) an impossible ( Moon) job ( Eight of Pentacles).

.

Another example of Moon not being scary is Moon’s meaning ‘ dirty’ and Eight of Pentacles as work: dirty work.

.

Empress She’s all about female sexuality, whether from the perspective of the female or her ‘admirers.’ Just remember, this Tarot card rolls all the fertility goddesses into one entity. Fertility goddesses are the ideal woman and are the slut, and are always pregnant. Empress represents the vamp or diva and also represents the passive-victim ladies. Empress is the Jezebel or diva or femme fatale, and Empress is his dream girl, trophy woman, ideal woman … whatever. A physically gorgeous dame as the perpetrator or as the victim, really. Empress is also the goddess and the inner goddess.

.

This Rider Waite Tarot card can simply translate: female, girl, woman.

.

And this is the … THE … card for pregnancy, for being pregnant and getting pregnant. (It can remind you to take your Pill if you are a female.)

.

The fertility concept expands to being resourceful, to being productive (‘a productive life’ today).

.

In her illustration, Empress is the Beloved, the pregnant lady who is being spoiled while she incubates a new human family member. See all the cushions, and her tiara? She is comfortable and is taking it easy, and lives in the lap of luxury without doing anything … because pregnancy is in itself productive.

Ace of Wands Ace of Wands is the male drive, the male instincts: sex, aggression, being number one, having only one focus (obsession or priorities), must (top priority on the to-do list), being a threat or being threatened, overcoming, certainty (‘for sure’ frequently) – achievement, excelling, challenge. Think of Ace of Wands as the Herd Bull if you know your animal husbandry (interesting phrase, that!)

.

Ace of Wands equally applies to the dispenser of all that raw aggressive energy as it does to the receivers of it. It can just as easily translate ‘threat’ or ‘threatening’ as it can ‘threatened,’ for example. Like Ace of Swords, the win is one-sided: On the other side is unmitigated defeat. So Ace of Swords, without feedback from the other Tarot cards or the question (or the story that has already developed), can tell you that you win … or that you lost. This reality is why we ask precise questions!

Moon Moon card has much in common, in Tarot Verbatim™, with Devil: It means just about anything awful. Why? See those two towers? – they are actual landmarks in an actual place in Greco-Roman times that was the border to hell, and to ‘dragons live here.’ Yes, hell is a Greco-Roman concept. Why else? – the lobster, colored purple, is undertaking a land journey, and the dog and coyote (enemies) are palling together. Not to mention the moon is frowning on the scene! So this is why Moon isn’t just another pretty Tarot face, at least in Tarot Verbatim.

.

Today these ‘bad’ translates for Moon are: trouble, terrible, a bad time, peril, difficult, problem, terrifying thing, terrible place, nightmare, bad, evil, been through hell, my dark side, revenge, disease, obsession, worst.

.

Why else? – Moon is the Left-hand Path, a/k/a The Road to Hell. (Ace of Pentacles is the Right-hand Path.) The Left-hand Path is the wrong way, the evil way, esoterically – hence the wrong road. Hence, being lost. So Moon stands for mistake, blunder, and wrong, wherever those concepts fit in, in the story you inquire about.

.

But Moon has its bright side. It means inspiration. It is psychic work, psychic experiences. It is about the spirit world, and not just the bad side of it.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

…………..…………. …………………….

.

These three cards have strong links along one story line: Empress is the sexy lady (the beautiful lady, trophy woman, dream girl, vamp, diva, Jezebel, etc.). Ace of Wands is sex and the male sexual drives. Moon is the twisted bad side of things. So we could have a sexually perverted vamp gal (but I did not go there). Moon means trouble, difficulty, problems; and Ace of Wands (with the Sexy Woman introducing it) means sex or sexual. So, trouble with sex, sexual problems, or even sexual perversion. A more common phrase Ace of Wands and Moon make is ‘ absolutely wrong.’

.

The story equally applies to the problems a sexy beautiful woman ( Empress) has with things sexual ( Ace of Wands), or to the problems the male ( Ace of Wands) has regarding things sexual with the beautiful sexy woman ( Empress). So, depending upon the Question and the established story, the female or the male can be the bad-guy, the perp, in this spread. Note that Empress and Moon can be ‘ she done him wrong’ or ‘ she was done wrong,’ and that Ace of Wands and Moon can be ‘ he done her wrong.’ And it could be (but seldom is expressed that way in my experience) ‘ he was done wrong’ or ‘ He was hurt.’ Since Ace of Wands is such an active card, it would seldom appear in the passive voice.

.

In a similar way, Empress and Ace of Wands can be ‘that evil assertive woman’ or can be ‘the battered woman.’ The action goes either way in Tarot work.

So, depending upon the Question and the established story, the female or the male can be the bad-guy, the perp, in this spread. After a routine kidhood, you are suddenly a budding diva, a gorgeous dream girl that all the male beasties will overreact to, in various ways that you are the mostly-innocent victim of – at least at first. It’s a nightmare being the most beautiful woman. Having a productive life in this terrible place is an achievement. Your inner Goddess is your biggest problem, Girl. And pregnancy is a sexually transmitted disease that outlasts the body it infects. Being resourceful, you overcome a bad time to be a beautiful person as well as a beautiful body.

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.

GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.

LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.

WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.

WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) our subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.

PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.

The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’

Bon voyage!

Hierophant – Two of Swords – Moon

Tarot Readings : Hierophant and Two of Swords

Usually not too bad.

Safe, not dangerous.

Normal, no contagion.

Neither right nor wrong.

Legitimate, not fraudulent.

Middle-of-the-road, not extreme.

Is in church so as to not feel guilty.

Not doing the right thing was a mistake.

It’s the way things really are, not a bad dream.

Tarot Readings : Hierophant and Moon

Impossible to clean it, so you don’t.

Fear of being ordinary if you stop that.

I’m straight – the addiction is no more.

A physical disability: can’t see at night.

The way things are is a nightmare I shut out.

You should have gotten infected, but you didn’t.

The good side and the bad side cancel each other out.

Tarot Readings : Two of Swords and Moon

Won’t accept being disabled.

That pervert is not respectable.

Have no fear of being ordinary.

A wrong that cannot be righted.

Sinners aren’t welcome in that church.

There’s nothing wrong with being well-behaved.

Doesn’t acknowledge the dark side of respectability.

Get lost and end up where you’re not supposed to be.

Synopsis

Hey, it’s all right to be all wrong once it’s all over! All those respectable people who are no longer the great sinners! On the other hand: Those lost years are what keeps me from being pedestrian; I am not dull because I have suffered, in other words. The worst is over anyway and we are here in the real physical world.

Hierophant

Well, as most of you know that’s the pope in the bright red robe. (I searched one time; he doesn’t wear that, it said.) And a lot of Hierophant’s meanings are what you would expect. All the ones we use today for Hierophant are. So words like these appear: right and righted, legitimate, straight, doing the right thing, you should have, the good side, respectable and respectability, well-behaved, supposed to, and clean – and church, of course.

The pope and his helpers are doing a ritual, which is what they ordinarily and routinely do, so words like that belong to Hierophant: usually, safe, normal, middle-of-the-road, ordinary and ordinarily, the way things are.

Hierophant translates words like ‘physical’ and ‘real-world.’ You could say this is because what is pictured is the mundane ritual, the physical aspect of a spiritual reality. Today Hierophant translates ‘accept,’ arising from its ‘acceptable’ category of meanings.

Two of Swords

Negators like Two of Swords tend to have few meanings, and similar ones. Like ‘no’ and ‘not,’ which Two of Swords today translates close to half the time. Negators attract apostrophes: don’t, didn’t, won’t, don’t, can’t, aren’t.

Two of Swords, from its illustration, is about blocking and shutting out. No go. Counterbalance. Phrases along that line today are: doesn’t acknowledge; aren’t welcome. Today Two of Swords says ‘cancel each other out,’ for instance. The illustration also says ‘can’t see’ sometimes.

‘Stop’ and ‘end’ are also Two of Swords words. Also ‘end up’ and ‘is no more.’ And ‘roadblock.’ Occasionally, Two of Swords is ‘The buck stops here.’

Moon

A lobster is purple. A dog and a coyote are pals. Full moon over a swamp. The illustration is a scene the ancients knew as the road to a literal physical hell where the dragons lived. Those two towers were real towers you could look at in a real place, and everyone knew where the place was and did not go there.

Moon is the Left-hand Path as Ace of Pentacles is the Right-hand Path. The Left-hand Path is associated with black magic and a debauched way of life.

Illustrations rule in Tarot Verbatim™, so Moon is about bad doings, bad feelings, problems, difficulties, limitations, sickness, disability, being lost, contagion and infection, the impossible and the extreme. Moon translates words like: bad, wrong, fraud, pervert, sin, dark side, dangerous, contagion, fear, guilt, nightmare, mistake.

Moon isn’t all bad, but other cards must coax its good side out. Inspiration and The Muse are its main good side.

Now Without The Pictures

Good and bad, in Hierophant and Moon, you immediately see, if you have a little Tarot experience. So you know our readings are contrasting those. When you have a ‘nasty’ like Moon on deck, you quickly check for ‘rescue cards,’ cards that negate, or at least lessen. And there’s Two of Swords, a classic negator.

But since Two of Swords can negate either (or both, potentially) the good or the bad, this immediately gives you contradictory readings along the lines of ‘not good but bad’ and ‘not bad but good.’ Context is king at moments like those: What is the question?; What is the history? Today these three cards can say ‘Get lost and end up where you are supposed to be,’ or you can double-dip Two of Swords and end up where you’re not supposed to be. Context rules. (And sometimes you should ask another question.)

Directly connecting Hierophant and Moon (leaving out Two of Swords) calls for using the alternative meanings of at least one of them because otherwise you are welding together phrases like ‘a decent pervert.’ Some of those make some sense, of course (How about ‘hates church’?). So fewer of the one-sentence readings are Hierophant and Moon.

Now We Show You Where Each Phrase In Each Sentence Comes From

Tarot Readings for You for May 22-23, 2017 Monday-Tuesday©

Here is an email reading a client kindly gave me permission to post. It is a good example of how explicit Tarot is when it says ‘It’s over.’ It’s also a good example of the cards that express a disturbed or even mentally unwell person – in different aspects: Ten of Pentacles, dysfunctional personal lives; Five of Swords, combative attitude (or actual combat); Page of Cups, confused; Seven of Swords, to violate others’ trust or to double-cross; Moon, to be deranged or mentally ill or a ‘lost soul’; Four of Pentacles, feeling inferior; Five of Cups, depression and regret. (Not all these cards say those things in this spread. Nevertheless, they show a pattern that this fellow is disturbed.)

Two of Wands He owns the buildings below his rooftop patio. That globe in his hands suggests he owns real estate, right? (It can also translate ‘global.’) The story here is: He is planning his future income and profits from his holdings. He is rich, is living well, is financially stable, has financial security (and other security of course). He is an investor. His outlook is long term. Below are his investments. He has an overview of them. These underlined words belong to Two of Wands, especially including the word ‘future’ and the ability to put your sentence into future tenses. Two of Wands also expresses future tense by what grammarians call ‘gerunds,’ which is the ‘-ing’ form of a verb, so that Two of Wands can turn ‘has’ into ‘is having.’

.

Other common translates for Two of Wands are: plan, ahead, control (in control, under control, etc.), for sure and certain and certainty.

Moon Moon is when things go wrong … or you do. Another general concept for moon is crazy and out of control, which can be applied in a serious way or in a lighthearted way, depending upon the Tarot neighborhood Moon finds itself occupying.

.

Today Moon has upbeat companions, so today, here, Moon contrasts good financial times with bad, and speaks of obsessing and being driven crazy (by the beautiful dame Empress). Making money from disasters can refer to crisis investing or capitalizing upon a loss.

.

While Moon speaks of the disaster, the downside, the problem, the trouble, the dark side, bad times, or having a difficult time, being messed up or deformed, the worst, and scary, today that applies to money and women – mostly from a guy’s perspective. We even have the femme fatale in Moon and Empress, and a fellow’s obsession.

.

Moon has its good side. Today we use ‘inspires.’ Moon is the Muse – something to remember.

.

Here in fine print is the background of Moon, from my archives:

Most of the time, Moon translates ‘wrong’ and ‘mistake.’ (It can stand in for cuss words too.) Put all the right cards around it, and it’s about the Muse, inspiration, psychism, nighttime and dreams. Those towers are evil in some story. Ace of Pentacles is ‘the Right Hand Path’ or the straight and narrow; Moon is ‘the Left Hand Path’ or the road to hell. People in ancient times believed the earth was flat. They believed it ended in a certain place where these two evil towers were (see), and the dragons lived just past the towers. That place was hell. And The Left-hand Path is about dark magic.

.

Nature’s gone awry: a purple lobster starts a land journey, dog and coyote, natural enemies, are together. Put some heavy cards next to Moon, and bad words appear: The worst. Wrong. Insanity. Sickness. Evil Incarnate, corrupt, perverted, dirty, nightmare – maximum fuckedupness. Naturally, an illustration that involves the road to hell has some of Devil’s same meanings.”

Empress Empress is emphatically female. This card represents fertility esoterically speaking, because it’s the 3 of the first Major Arcanae cards. Think Mother Nature. So Empress is all the fertility goddesses rolled into one. Fertility goddesses were Femininity itself (back in the days before political correctness and gender equality, you know). They, and she, therefore are the ideal woman, the sexy doll, the beloved, the spoiled girl/woman, the slut, the pregnant woman, the easygoing laid-back kind of gal, the casual barfly kind of lady, the femme fatale, and whatever other female lifestyle you can think of. Except the businesswoman, unless the business is some form of sex or glamour.

.

The symbol on her shield – the valentine-looking thing at her side – is actually a graffiti you see carved in stone in Celtic areas from ancient times that represents the backside view of the genitalia of a bending-over female.

.

And Empress is the pregnant woman. Lying around being beautifully productive whilst taking life easy: that’s an Empress concept. That’s how – sitting upon cushions – she represents the life of leisure, the beautiful life, the comfortable life, the gal with the casual relaxed laid-back personality.

.

Other meanings for Empress are ‘resource,’ which includes ‘resourceful.’ She is the resource supporting a man (or others). ‘Resource’ expands to include resources of any kind. Ask about ecology or investing, and Empress may pop up to say ‘resources,’ such as unmined minerals or a forest.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.. ….. …     ..

.

Two of Wands and Empress belong together – two peas in a pod. Both reflect wealth; both are secure. (Two of Wands owns the world, there; Empress is sitting at ease on those cushions.)

.

Moon, you have to make room for; it isn’t native to the other two cards’ turf at all. Moon is losing it all; Two of Wands is having it all; Empress is the enjoyment of it all. We do have a tad of commonality, though, in both Moon and Empress meaning ‘spoiled.’ But Empress’ ‘spoiled’ is more positive than Moon’s. Someone worships the ground Empress walks upon, whereas Moon is spoiled rotten.

.

When all is unscrambled, we have making money from bad situations, and we have men’s stories about a sexy lady. We have aside-mentions of a problem pregnancy, her inner-Goddess getting her in trouble, and getting control of an out-of-control situation, but these are off-road digressions, not the mainstream stories.

Straitlaced but sometimes crazy.

I’m healthy now but I was dizzy when I was sick.

I look fine, but I’m a part-time mess.

Getting back to normal after a bad time.

I go to church regularly when I am feeling guilty.

It’s kinda scary, but so far so good.

I put the best face on the worst part of my routine.

Keep trying to right the wrongs.

Scared straight … almost.

There’s the right way, there’s the wrong way, and there’s a little of both.

Keep finding humor in the dark side of respectability.

My middle-class life was kinda stagnant.

The winding road to hell has its good parts.

Made it through the night and everything’s all right.

.

Hierophant You can think of good ol’ Hierophant as the late Moral Majority. Hierophant is about reality really being okay and safe and normal and decent, about ‘what you see is what you are getting.’ What you see here is the pope doing a routine ritual that means something to him and his fellow professionals that the public doesn’t get. So he and those monks or priests are the incrowd.

.

Dig a tad deeper, and Hierophant is all about that unspoken unacknowledged understanding – I call it a treaty – that we all as individuals and as collectives (groups, organizations, families, believers in this or that, etc.) present to one another and agree to abide by … when we all know better in our heart of hearts. It’s called ‘face,’ and sometimes ‘keeping a straight face.’

.

Ripping the clothes off this figurative emperor has dire penalties. Doing that, you are a maverick, no longer entitled to the benefits of membership … such as they are. There’s a feeling in your gut when you are about to pull off one of these daring acts. The fear often is a guilty feeling combined with the heady thrill of getting away with something forbidden. Some people are born to dare. Most cows stay in the conservative fence where the grass has fewer weeds, with a straight face.

.

Today Hierophant lives in a story about good and bad, dangerous and safe, so its meanings for now are about that. Here are some of Hierophant’s words and phrases that express that dichotomy (that difference) : healthy now; look fine, go to church; the mean, the being okay; so good; perfectly acceptable; ordinary time; doing the proper thing; put the best face on; straight; the right way; middle-class life; safe; where we are supposed to be; just the usual; perfectly normal; has its good parts; everything’s all right.

Two of PentaclesHow does Two of Pentacles come to mean – commonly – both regularity like clockwork, and silly instabilities? Easy. The ships tossing behind him are dancing on crazy waves, while the juggler in the foreground is dancing while he juggles. All those movements make Two of Pentacles commonly mean almost any movement.

.

Today Two of Pentacles is concentrating on his iffy meanings because to his left is the pope and to his right is the road to hell, and here he means ‘could go either way’!

.

So here are the phrases that, under these odd circumstances, Two of Pentacles comes up with: sometimes; dizzy; part-time; getting back to _ after; regularly when; the cycle goes from _ to _; kinda _ but so far; once in a while; ups and downs; every time; the part of my routine; keep trying; almost; a little of both; keep finding humor; kinda; one after another; swings; an occasional; winding; made it through.

Moon It’s always good to see Moon in such good company. Moon can be a whiff from the sewer. Look at Ace of Pentacles: It is ‘the right road,’ ‘the right path,’ the straight and narrow, and it suggests that good living is rewarded with success or even money. So Ace of Pentacles is The Right-hand Path, but Moon is The Left-hand Path or the road to hell. (The pagans got hell before the Christians did, by the way!)

.

People back then who believed in the flat earth believed it ended in a certain place where these two evil towers were (see), and the dragons lived just past the towers. That place was hell. And The Left-hand Path is about dark magic.

.

So Moon means anything awful, sick, scary, perverted … any kind of a mess. It can simply mean disorder, dirty, or a bad dream – and if you put the right cards around it, it is about poetic inspiration – The Muse. Which seldom happens.

.

Here are today’s Moon meanings: crazy, sick, mess, bad time, feeling guilty, awful, scary, to fail, crazymaking, feels all wrong, the worst part, the wrongs, scared, there’s the wrong way, the dark side of, stagnant, a dangerous road, mistake, wild, disability, road to hell, the night.

To the left is the pope, representing respectability. To the right is the moon, representing depravity. In the middle is: It could go either way, or both ways, represented by the juggler. So we obviously have a study in contrasts, and stories about right and wrong, good and bad, normal and crazy,

safe and dangerous, etc.

The main message here is that whatever trouble comes your way is not a big deal, and has a good chance of being a blessing in infernal disguise – that failure is part of where you are going; that you’re healthy in spite of sickness; that you function all right with whatever that disability is.

We are here to acknowledge the stuff we usually file under ‘Don’t look now.’ When you get past the rotten spot, you see a lighter side, maybe even a humorous side, to the stressful cycle. You even see some benefits you gleaned from the glom. It wasn’t so bad in retrospect, so here I am hitching my foresight to my hindsight to get better mileage.

.

LEARN SINGLE TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES.

GET A SINGLE CARD’S MEANINGS: TYPE ITS NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE

.

Six of Pentacles The main meaning, expressed here in the picture, of Six of Pentacles is a scrupulously fair exchange, especially an exchange of money for services, which expands a little to paying or receiving a fair price for anything. Note that ‘exchange’ includes paying and receiving, so Six of Pentacles equally applies to either end of a transaction.

.

Then Six of Pentacles expands to exchanges of anything else – in which case the ‘scrupulous’ requirement may be waived. Here are the most frequent non-money transfers Six of Pentacles will appear for: Giving and getting attention, being treated fairly or treating others fairly; giving or getting medicine (suggested by the small objects going into the hand of the kneeling people), which also expands to other medical type treatment that is dispensed. Passing germs from hand to hand is another exchange Six of Pentacles fairly often appears for. You will also find ‘reward’ as a Six of Pentacles exchange.

.

Of course Six of Pentacles means ‘paycheck’ and ‘making money’ or ‘get paid for that.’ It will also translate ‘financial.’ It generally means ‘to pass it on,’ re anything (even news).

.

Six of Pentacles emphasizes fairness and legal matters because of the scales in its illustration. Getting paid fairly, getting the attention you deserve, and even righting a wrong or paying a fine belong to Six of Pentacles.

Moon The picture here is meant to be scary and evil. The two towers mark the end of the flat earth ‘where dragons be’ in Rider Waite’s Moon. The road is the road to hell which in non-Christian myth is marked by those towers. (Non-Christian hells abound – Wikipedia gives sketches of them.) A combination sliver- and full- moon contains a frowning face. Lobster, purple, is going on a land journey. A coyote and dog, natural enemies, howl at the moon together. This depicts chaos and evil in a scary way. So Moon can mean anything bad, and means ‘bad.’

.

The picture is ‘the Left-hand Path’ of black magic as Ace of Pentacles pictures ‘the Right-hand Path’ of goodness and success.

.

The redeeming-value meanings of Moon come from its separate tradition of being inspiring, The Muse, and poetic experience in general. It therefore today translates ‘far-out ways,’ ‘imaginatively,’ and ‘very weird.’ (Bizarre is a Moon word.)

.

Since the road goes the wrong way (or to the wrong place) in Moon, ‘mistake,’ ‘lost’ and ‘wrong’ are very frequent translates for it. Synonyms of these today are blunder, the worst, the worst time, dirty, hazards, error. Moon today also is chaos, impossible, crooked, disability. Moon’s presence invites cuss words in your sentences: Today, payback is ‘a bitch.’

.

My mental shorthand for Moon is ‘maximum fuckedupness’ because it modifies surrounding cards that way. It signals serious illness and disease, and is one of the black magic theme cards.

Knight of Pentacles In Knight of Pentacles, physical strength and energy meet mental focus and thinking. Like Page of Pentacles, Knight of Pentacles pays intense attention. Each of them stares a that pentacle. In Knight of Pentacles, focusing on one thing, and having one priority, combine with drive.

.

You can think of Knight of Pentacles as growing up to be Chariot (the driven ambitious skilled ‘get it done any way you can’ man who has arrived at being the manager of a major endeavor or project).

.

Words and phrases for Knight of Pentacles are about focus on one priority, thinking, looking, an idea, aiming to achieve, being a tough and strong guy, and even obsessing. Knight of Pentacles often translates ‘for sure’ like Two of Wands, and ‘one thing for sure’.

.

Both Moon and Knight of Pentacles refer to obsession – Moon as an ill state of mind, Knight of Pentacles as intense focus on one thing.

.

Six of Pentacles is being fair and doing right by others; Moon is doing wrong, so it means the opposite.

.

Moon is mistake, error, blunder – doing it wrong. Six of Pentacles is getting what you deserve. So we have payback; we have the consequences of a blunder. These three cards are a story about someone dead set on revenge, payback (Six of Pentacles) for a wrong (Moon). However – in typical Tarot fashion – the same cards express a reward for a blunder, because Six of Pentacles isn’t just ‘justice’ but is about receiving the reward (of one’s labors, usually).

.

Six of Pentacles is money and Moon is troubles, problems and chaos or a mess. These two cards say money troubles, financial chaos, paying bills in the worst of times, and even dirty money – because Moon is of course ‘dirty.’ They also say ‘a creative way to finance’ because Moon is creative. And they also say ‘righting a wrong.’

.

The thought for the day here, the main one, is to look for ways to profit from bad times and bad things. ‘Most every problem contains a business opportunity if you look at it that way. (Six of Pentacles can say ‘business.’)

Looking back, I can see how, if I had not royally screwed up at some point, I would not be looking at this really good life I’m into now. This isn’t just about benefiting from hard lessons, but also about the lines of coincidence that make up our destiny. I took a bad job but it led to a new and better career as I made lemonade from the lemons of life. I encountered such bullying when I was very young that I am a world-class expert on people who take advantage and how to foil their inroads.

Tarot Readings for You for July 23, 2015 Thursday©

GUIDANCE     Making the best of the worst – transmuting, say, the worst parts of ourselves into something presentable – is the business of life, to those of us who are grownups. It’s called ‘working on yourself’ by some people. The flip side of this, conversely, is that a really evil-intentioned person is going to have to look good. So, we overcome our bad side, and we can be overcome by people who camouflage theirs.

TAROT READINGS: MAKING THE BEST OF THE WORST (MOON AND PAGE OF WANDS)

I’m okay now with the very worst part of myself.

In good shape for the bad shape I’m in.

Overcome my fear of speaking.

Proud of myself for overcoming my vices.

Being a decent person in a place where evil wins out.

I am the person I am now because I overcame something terrible.

You conquer the impossible in your physical body.

This sick person is looking the very best he/she will ever look.

In such a nasty place, he is such a nice guy.

Being a good person while enduring extreme pain.

He looks bad, but is so much bigger than that.

………..……….

TAROT READINGS: MOST EVIL (ACE OF SWORDS AND MOON)

He is a ‘most evil’ Prince Charming.

Appearances are absolutely deceiving.

When you’re really a bad person, you have to look good.

This good-looking fellow is Mr. Wrong, for sure.

A scandal is a threat to his reputation.

………..……….

TAROT READINGS: WE HAVE TO TALK (ACE OF SWORDS AND PAGE OF WANDS)

You are forced to give a wrong name for yourself.

Has to confess it’s his mistake.

I said it all wrong.

A speech impediment is his challenge.

The alcohol made me say that.

I hate talking about my challenges.

Such a clean-looking guy can outright lie like that.

We are being told upfront about dire peril.

He said it was for sure, and he was mistaken.

The dirtiest people talk the nicest.

Young fellow makes nasty threats.

You have to talk about the most difficult part.

TAROT READINGS: LOOKS ARE IMPORTANT (ACE OF SWORDS AND PAGE OF WANDS)

Surgery for a physical deformity.

Think of this cutie as a weapon of mass destruction.

A handsome man is a winner, whatever his faults.

Looks are very important when you’re ugly.

Ace of Swords – Moon – Page of Wands

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.………..………. .……..…….. A study in contrasts here. Moon is the worst, the downside, the shadow side, the most evil, ugly, wrong … think of Moon as ‘maximum fuckedupness.’

To its left is Ace of Swords, which represents an extreme (the most), means ‘have to’ and ‘must,’ and also represents a threat. As a naked blade brandished, Ace of Swords also represents surgery and a weapon. You really don’t like to see this naked blade of force next to Moon, the crime and the ‘something terrible.’ Those two could be about a murder – and Page of Wands is a body! (No, I didn’t include that in the readings.) Redemption comes in that Ace of Swords also means to overcome, to be a winner. Overcoming is the main theme of today’s readings – overcoming evil, overcoming something really challenging, threatening, or bad.

To its right is the good guy, good-looking guy, and talk – young Mr. Page of Wands. Now we have a clean-cut fellow who’s evil (Moon), and who’s a threat (Ace of Swords). We also have the challenge (Ace of Swords) of being clean, we have overcoming (Ace of Swords again) and looking good. We also have ‘have to look good,’ because Ace of Swords is ‘have to,’ remember?

Since Page of Wands also means talk, we have ‘talk dirty’ or ‘potty mouth’ when Moon joins in. These two (Moon and Page of Wands) are also evil looking good, and evil talking respectably, since Page of Wands is also the respectable image. Now, with Ace of Swords being the extreme of anything, and Page of Wands being the handsome man, and being the body in good shape, well, you have the most handsome man, and you have being in the very best physical shape … but not with Moon hanging around in today’s spread! Looks are important, these two also say, with Ace of Swords, of course, being important, and Page of Wands being the looks.

FOR A DEEP LOOK AT A SINGLE CARD’S MEANING, TYPE THAT CARD’S NAME AND ‘TAROT VERBATIM’ INTO GOOGLE, AND GET A FULL REPORT FROM THIS SITE’S ARCHIVES.

Ace of Swords……. You just know the main meanings of Ace of Swords, looking at a picture of a hand holding a big double-edged sword straight up, and the sword is crowned, and the crown is crowned with a victory sprig of laurel leaves. Anybody sees victory, force, being a winner, and a challenge there. And probably anybody would also see the whole ‘overcoming’ theme Ace of Swords owns. And of course Ace of Swords does mean all of those things.

From there, Ace of Swords spreads out to mean ‘have to’ and ‘must,’ along with its ‘force’ meanings. It also is a threat (no kidding). A hand with a knife in it also represents a weapon (‘armed’), and surgery.

Ace of Swords, which represents an extreme (the most); means ‘have to’ and ‘must’; and also represents a threat. As a naked blade brandished, Ace of Swords also represents surgery and a weapon.

One of the main meanings for this Ace of Swords card is overcoming – to overcome anything, and overcome it definitively, as a winner. It is an accomplishment like that, and can translate ‘accomplishment.’ Remember that Ace of Swords also translates as the challenge – faced with a challenge. When it means ‘challenge,’ there is a presumption of overcoming that challenge, usually. Ace of Swords can also be invincible, the unstoppable force.

Moon…….. Here ya go, ‘the worst card in the deck,’ the evil one, black magic, things scary or even terrifying and terrible. Fear. Nightmare. Hate. It translates ‘terrible’ and ‘worst,’ often. But, it can also just mean ‘ugly,’ can just mean ‘mistake,’ and sometimes is the inspiration of The Muse, or psychism. Moon is such a general card that what’s awful is usually represented by neighboring cards. So Moon is not an anchor card (a lead card), for sure.

You really don’t like to see Moon in tandem with any kind of dangerous-influence card, like Ace of Swords here today. The best those two can say is ‘overcoming evil.’ The worst (and Moon translates ‘worst,’ remember) would be, say, ‘weapon of mass destruction.’

Moon’s illustration bears explanation. First, those two plain-looking ordinary towers are fearful things in various myths. They are landmarks of ‘the end of the earth,’ back in the days when the earth was flat and that was the most terrifying place. They are also evil. Beyond them lay dragons and unknown terrors.

Next, you’re in a swamp, and there’s a path reminiscent of the golden one in Ace of Pentacles (which is the Right-hand Path), but it goes past those towers that mark ‘here lie dragons’ territory. This is the road to hell or the Left-hand Path. Note there’s no symbols of progress like the lilies, for purity, in the beginning of Ace of Pentacles’ path, and the rose arbor at its end, for victory.

So what does Left-hand Path mean, anyway? It is backwards evolution. Life forms are supposed to, and destined to, become less dense, less physical, and that is evolving, according to esoteric wisdom. To become more dense is to head toward evil, therefore – to devolve. (So people are supposed to have a spiritual life, and to remove from their personality the dross elements of it.) Demons are spirits that are headed to being as dense, as physical, as they can. That is why the blood sacrifices; the demons use the terror and the fumes of the blood to get themselves more into physical form.

In more than one myth, the road beyond the two towers is the road to hell. And, yes, ancient religions, more than one of them, have hell. Apollo is associated with one of these sagas, and there is a hell in Norse theology, run by a lady named Hela, where you sit naked on ice.

Next, you have that purple lobster about to embark on a land journey on that road to hell. That’s all wrong, and Moon means ‘wrong.’ And you also have a coyote and a dog howling together at the moon; and dogs and coyotes are enemies. (By the way, ‘enemy’ is one of Moon’s meanings.)

Page of Wands…...And here comes that fresh-faced young fellow, in the company of such heavies! Page of Wands is the good-looking person, usually a handsome fellow, all dressed up with good things to present and tell us about. Page of Wands is about image, being a particular kind of person, one’s name, one’s reputation. He is Prince Charming and ‘the fair-haired boy,’ every mother’s favorite son.

As a Page, he is an apprentice, at the stage of finding his place in society, so he is making an effort to be as attractive as he can to everyone, and to fit in. He is the acceptable person, the one who has the right look (for whatever is the subject).

Page of Wands is one of the say/talk/tell theme cards. He means to say what he really thinks and feels, to stand up for who is is, to state his position clearly – the honest upfront upright person.

.

.

I state my position unequivocally, clearly, even when it’s wrong for the place I’m in. I am who I am even in a setting that is diametrically opposed to that. Having overcome my vices, I am proud of myself. I admit my mistakes when I am wrong, too. When you have overcome the worst of times, you have respect because of who you are.

.

Tarot Readings for You for March 29, 2015 Sunday©

GUIDANCE      Into each life comes difficulties. What we do with them enlarges or shrinks them, or makes them a turning point. I like to read this fellow who says shorting stocks in a market crash gets him rich. You can do that in social and spiritual and mental life and even in your physical life too. You just have to have that glint of strategy in your eye, and maybe be light of foot and thick of skin, depending upon the flavor of the difficulty. Whining spoils that party, big time. You make money looking for troubles and selling the fix, and you make happiness that way too. Capitalizing on difficulties is today’s study.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings.  It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Wheel of Fortune – Moon – Ten of Cups

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

………………………     Here’s Moon lite again. Today Moon, a miserable card (hey, it means that, even!) is sandwiched between grand opportunity and happily ever after (Wheel of Fortune and Ten of Cups respectively). Wheel of Fortune is grand good luck, miracle, wonderful thing(s) happening, and Moon is disaster and awful things happening. Ten of Cups breaks the tie with ‘Everybody’s happy about that.’ So we are making a rainbow out of the cloud, capitalizing on a loss, coming out of the trouble smelling like a rose.

………………………..     Wheel of Fortune is usually good luck: miracle, wonderful, scoring, opportunity, reward, the magic moment or optimum moment, coincidence, best, big break, paying off, winning at gambling, jackpot, the best thing that could ever happen, windfall, moneymaker … and more. Those are its frequent translates. It means destiny, fate, and karma too. It often says ‘happens.’

Wheel of Fortune can be about interference of spirits in human affairs too. That is what the complex illustration demonstrates. The red lizard is a bad-guy spirit, the sphinx is suspect, the critters with wings and books, I dunno, but they aren’t planetary citizens. At the center of what looks for all the world like a gambling wheel is both the name of God in Hebrew and a word from myths (one of them having to do with Apollo) that means wheel or wheel of fortune. The fifty-some names of God in Hebrew are extensively used in magic and in secret societies.

……………………….. Moon is infernal – the path to hell in Greek and Roman myth or myths. (Yes, they had hell too.) The two towers are the tip-off to that. They marked the end of the earth for unsuspecting travelers, lest they encounter the dragons that live there, or walk off earth’s ledge. So it can be just about any awful thing, and it is one of the heavy cards unless it is in polite company like we have here.

Lobster (purple, yet) goes on an overland journey. Dog and coyote are seen together. The crooked path through the swamp. The full moon. Those are also big hints that this is a very not-nice card.

Moon would create bad luck, infernal luck, misfortune and so on with Wheel of Fortune if Ten of Cups were not standing in the way of that.

Moon means evil, horrible, terrible, miserable, cancer and sick, fear, hate, death, dementia, addiction, out-of-control or chaos, wrong, bad scene, sin, haunting, fester, dank and filth, etc., hazardous, bad road, impossible, drastic … you can fill in the rest.

But Moon also means simple things like mistake, worst case scenario, dream (not just nightmare), in disrepair, guilt, a mess, counterfeit, lie, ugly, consequences, hurt feelings. In just the right setting, it can mean The Muse.

……………………….. Ten of Cups is simpler than the other two of today’s Tarot cards. Everybody calls it ‘happily ever after.’ The stereotype dream life: the couple’s estate with the rainbow over it, two perfect kids prancing happily about, couple embracing. Its meanings are about the respectable moneyed people being the good people. Think the Moral Majority of a few years ago. It typically is about marriage, couple, spouse, people who are a group or have some thing in common, family, neighborhood, happiness, being accepted, being a member. It stands in for any respectable group of humans from mama and papa to international. It translates ‘everybody’ easily, and phrases like ‘we all’ or ‘all of us.’

Today takes both the highs and the lows in stride, and levels them into ordinary everyday reality. Yeah, there’s the divine and the infernal aspects to my life, but, you know, but I’ve got dishes to do and I have to be up to go to work tomorrow, so, latah with all that.

Wheel of Fortune……….. Wheel of Fortune stylizes the idea of interference in human affairs by both good and bad spiritual influences (including God). On the rim of the wheel is both God’s name in the Hebrew alphabet and a word that means wheel and ‘wheel of fortune’ in myths, one involving Apollo. The Hebrew alphabet is extensively used in secret societies and magic, and this Tarot card is very much involved in magic, as you can tell by the evil red lizard, the blue sphinx, and the various winged critters with books.

Wheel of Fortune is all about coincidence, luck, destiny and fate, miracles and wonderful things happening – winning. It often translates ‘happens,’ and is almost always a ‘good’ card.

.

Moon…………. Moon, you would rather not see in your spread. In real life, it seldom lives up to the doom it depicts, though, unless it is in the company of other bad-boy Tarot cards. Today Moon is in a jolly strait jacket between a miracle (Wheel of Fortune) and happily-ever-after. Today with Wheel of Fortune Moon is bad luck a lot. With Ten of Cups, it’s a bad marriage. It is the worst happening with Wheel of Fortune’s ‘happening’ meaning. It is difficulties, disrepair, the cloud, desperate, miserable, problem, things going wrong, a bad situation, disaster, danger, criminals and gambling. (It yearns for worse.)

.

Ten of Cups………….Ten of Cups is innocent of all this otherworldly drama; it is about having a nice home in a nice neighborhood, with a nice spouse and some good kids, you know. Ten of Cups brings its Tarot neighbors down to earth (literally down to earth!). Ten of Cups is the good life, happily every after, any group of okay people of any size from a couple to international. It is a house as well as a home, so it’s a real estate card similar in application to Six of Cups. Ten of Cups is normal people. This card suggests that when you are good you are prosperous and happy.
