Tarot Readings for You for August 3-4, 2017 Thursday-Friday©

GUIDANCE   So today we have a hard-headed assertive woman, maybe an edgy dame even, who ‘has a head on her shoulders’ about budgeting, financial planning, even about her future pension. He is a fine young man because Mama held him up to her standards, and he will do well. And the old lady did without to secure her position in life.

.

Queen of Swords Queen of Swords is the only negative female card in the Tarot Verbatim system, although other female cards have their bad side here and there. The illustration shows a woman grieving a dead baby. That was very common years ago, as in the Colonial days in America when women had lots of kids so a few would survive. See the baby carved into her chair-throne. That is how Queen of Swords gets her aggrieved, put-upon suffering meanings. She can be missing anyone (or ‘most anything). She can be a widow.

.

Queen of Swords is the woman who gets no respect, who isn’t getting her due, who is doing without, who is sacrificing. She can be a negative nag, the mama or old lady. She can be a stern and strong woman, an assertive or aggressive woman who does not put up with ‘lip.’ The female drill sergeant or the whining energy vampire. She can be angry and aggrieved, or she can be a victim (real or imagined).

.

Watch for Queen of Swords to be the older or old woman; it is the only card for that.

.

Another side of Queen of Swords is militant. Here, she is hard-headed, assertive, strong-willed, and a strong woman, a woman who holds other people up to her own high standards (and is usually disappointed and dissatisfied). She is the stern mama who is ‘hard’ on her kid(s). Mama is mad, or Queen of Swords can just be your mama.

.

This militant side of Queen of Swords extends all the way to being the only bitch card in the Rider Waite Tarot deck in Tarot Verbatim’s ™ pantheon of personalities. Here, she is critical.

Page of Pentacles Page of Pentacles is one of the identity cards, similar to Page of Wands. They both mean – literally  ‘type of person.’ Page of Pentacles often just translates pronouns, especially ‘he’ or ‘him,’ ‘I’ or ‘me’ and pronouns ending in ‘self.’ It also translates ‘self.’

Page of Pentacles is is one of the ‘good guy’ cards in Rider Waite. It means ‘person’ as well as ‘guy’ but is usually male gender.

Page of Pentacles often translates ‘I see,’ ‘I am looking at,’ or just ‘looking at’ or ‘see,’ and ‘I think.’ That’s because he is staring at that pentacle, studying it. Figuring things out is similar to think, so that belongs to our Page too.

Two of Wands Two of Wands would make a good ‘guide card’ for the Tarot lessons I am writing: It has well-defined meanings that relate easily to any of the cards. Most of its meanings relate to future time, which comes about because our property-owning mogul in the picture is planning what to do with his holdings below his castle roof he stands upon … with the world in his hands. (Remember, Two of Wands owns ‘plan’ and its synonyms and forms.

.

Words that belong to Two of Wands’ future category fall into two main categories: tenses that are future, and any word that refers to ‘future’ or to the future. Here, for instance, are some of these today: I’m going to be, going to get, is going to be, going to, always, long term, the future, it’s his plan for the future, plans to, for-sure future, fore- (as part of ‘foresight’).

.

The real estate mogul brings financial terms like: financial future, financial plan, investment, financial security, bottom line, profit, budget, pension. This is one of the real estate cards, and it can be a mortgage broker, a banker, financial adviser, etc.

.

Two of Wands is in control. Two of Wands is also stable. Not to mention ‘sure,’ and ‘a sure thing.’

.

. ….. .      .

Queen of Swords is doing without and Two of Wands is definitely not; Two of Wands has financial security and even wealth.

.

A three-card spread with Page of Pentacles is going to be about the other two cards because Page of Pentacles means things like: know, think, feel, look, figure out, and mostly male pronouns along with ‘ man’ and ‘ guy.’ These meanings give him a back seat; he isn’t star material.

.

So we are left mainly with themes regarding Queen of Swords’ (all her meanings) future and Queen of Swords’ finances because future and finance belong to Two of Wands. Luckily, Queen of Swords spans several different meanings, so we have stories about these things: how she misses someone (mainly Page of Pentacles, of course); about her being the old or older woman; the hard-headed woman, assertive woman, strong woman, strong-willed dame; about her being the mother; about her being critical or even bitchy; about her doing without or not having or even sacrificing; about her being a victim or a widow.

So we have stories.

Guidance   We look at control today … at too much of it and at too little. When the world around you is mad, your vision must be clear and your nerves under control. When the world around you is powermad, it is up to you to control yourself and your own part of it.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead. “Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Headings [So you can choose which belong to you]

Tarot Readings: We are in Control of Ourselves (Page of Pentacles + Two of Wands)

Tarot Readings: A Man Who Is a Grownup (Page of Pentacles + King of Swords)

Tarot Readings: Authorities, Enforcement, Police (King of Swords)

Tarot Readings: Out of Control Controlling Person (Seven of Cups + King of Swords)

Tarot Readings: We are in Control of Ourselves (Page of Pentacles + Two of Wands)

A guy who knows who he is can handle anything at all.

The people in power are crazy, but we are in control of ourselves.

When law enforcement is out of control, you are your own security.

When the police are out of control, being in control of ourselves is our whole future.

It’s my lost years that make me sure I am strong enough to lead.

I am so confused but I will be taking charge of this situation.

Let’s get an overview that makes sense of our chaos.

He is just the kind of fellow who can pull off this madcap plan of his.

He is the man whose analysis of a broken system results in a secure one.

The bartender knows the police, so this dive bar is a safe place.

He finds self-discipline by losing it and getting back in control.

Things went to hell, he came in and looked at it all and took control.

Looks like I’m the man in charge of a permanent mess here.

Tarot Readings: A Man Who Is a Grownup (Page of Pentacles + King of Swords)

After all this craziness, I’m looking for a man who is a grownup from now on.

He is all man, and there’s some chance he is in my future.

A thinking feeling man’s man is one in a million.

I’m thinking of all the things a man has to be in control of himself about.

Financial security in times of turmoil is a matter of a man’s discipline.

His plan is to be *what he defines as manly* in every possible way.

The outlook is fantastic, all because of this one man.

A man who is disciplined has things under control even when they are all over the place.

He is in charge of a far-flung enterprise.

A man who knows himself is secure in an insane world.

I decide, now that things have gone to s***, I am the man here.

Tarot Readings: Authorities, Enforcement, Police (King of Swords)

Enforcement will be looking into all sorts of seemingly unrelated things.

Will be examining some bizarre police matters.

The authorities shatter our idea things are under control.

The authoritative opinion is: The outlook is anybody’s guess.

Tarot Readings: Out-of-Control Controlling Person (Seven of Cups + King of Swords)

The idea of being in control puts him totally out of control.

He’s got this bizarre idea he is the king, he controls everything he surveys.

His delusional plan to be a dictator.

His notion that he rules is shattered for sure.

He thinks he can take over control during the mix-up.

 Two of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Both Page of Pentacles and Two of Wands are looking at and considering something. Page of Pentacles thinks about, contemplates, considers; Two of Wands plans and has an overview. The difference is that Two of Wands is the solid citizen in control of what he views, and Page of Pentacles observes – is more the young person or student.

Seven of Cups is disparate items, unrelated and unassorted stuff or debris, and is about anything out of control, disorderly and scattered.

Two of Wands is in control. So is King of Swords: He is the dictator, the strong man, the soldier or man of discipline – or policeman. Sometimes, the coldhearted tyrant.

Our story revolves, therefore, around control: Three of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards, in Tarot Verbatim (TM) involve that concept. The overall saga is a man handling an out-of-control situation so that things are secure. It also is about a man whose controlling nature is out of control.

Page of Pentacles ‘I’ as in ‘identity’ and being the viewer, the one who thinks and sees, are what Page of Pentacles is about. This is the person starting out in life and looking for where he or she fits in, aiming to be part of the world on the threshold of young adulthood.

Seven of Cups This are shattered, fractured, broken up, scattered and disparate, unassorted … out of control, mainly. The illustration fits both Pandora’s Box and Sorcerer’s Apprentice stories. The bad spirits are out and mischief is afoot.King of Swords Is the leader of the man pack, the strong man. He can be the disciplined soldierly type or he can be the coldhearted controlling dictator. He is enforcement too, of any kind – not just police. He is the ‘tall dark and handsome’ man of lore. Two of Wands has the world in his hands; stands on the ramparts of his castle roof contemplating what he will do with his real estate empire below. These days he is the banker we love to hate. This is your pension. This is the solid citizen. This is global anything.

I N S T R U C T I O N S  &  Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives. She tells you what is happening and what to do about it to make it happen best. (Testimonials about this are on the web site https://EmilysInsight.com and here under its Tab, and in Comments.)
