Page of Pentacles – You see a young man dressed well concentrating and focusing on something. He is a page, and pages are apprentices – apprentice knights of course. Page of Pentacles is a fine young man, like three out of four of the other pages in Tarot. He is a good clean person, usually a young single man.

So he is focusing on who he is and how he fits into the situation he finds himself in. So the main meanings (almost the only meanings) of Page of Pentacles are about thinking, knowing, feeling, believing, and focusing – one category.

The other category is identity, self, who a person is. Here you find simple phrases like: I am, you are, he/she/it is, one of those people, the type of person that, be yourself, what your interest (or his or her or even their) interest is. You often find this Page of Pentacles card interpreting a simple combination of pronoun and verb (often an auxiliary verb. That’s the ‘I am’ examples given earlier here.

Ten of Cups – Ten of Cups is ‘We’re all one big happy family here.’ All the good people. It is one of the two positive marriage cards (with Four of Wands whose illustration shows a public wedding celebration). Ten of Cups is family, is marriage, is married people, a couple or a happy couple, and married with children. All the marriage cards expand to mean groups of people, organizations, and positive relationships of all sorts in Tarot Verbatim™.

Groups of people: Ten of Cups often translates ‘everybody’ and ‘some people.’ Ten of Cups today says these things too: people, with people, being happy with someone, one of the people, one of those people.

Ten of Cups is a member of the ‘together’ Tarot tribe – it often translates together in various ways. This includes getting along together, getting together, living together, getting along with people.

Ten of Cups also is a card-carrying member of the prosperity Tarot clan. It associates happy respectable people with people who live in that fine home that’s pictured.

Today Ten of Cups is not a house or a neighborhood, but those concepts are solidly in its dictionary. Today’s spread says ‘Looking for my ideal house’ and similar sentences, but those are sentences I discarded when I was writing this.
Wheel of Fortune – Coincidence is the core concept for Wheel of Fortune. It represents the idea that both good and bad spiritual forces affect events in our lives. A frequent meaning for this Tarot card is: It happens.

The Wheel of Fortune is a concept in the Apollo myth, associated with bad spirits and the Left-hand Path which leads to the precipice at the edge of the flat earth which is the habitat of those dragons and evil spirits. Where hell is. This was a specific locale on maps in the Hellenic (Greek and Roman) culture. The Moon card shows this road, the Left-hand Path that is the road to hell, and its meaning revolves around this concept.

The Greek word for this Wheel is ‘Rota,’ and you can see those letters alternating with the four Hebrew letters that mean Jehovah or Yahweh in English. ‘Rota’ is the root word for ‘rotate’ in English.

Okay. But the emphasis in Wheel of Fortune, as it actually functions on your Tarot table, is about luck – always good luck unless another card overcomes the message. Although you have the various funky-looking bad spirits all over Wheel of Fortune, God’s name is there too.

Wheel of Fortune looks like a roulette wheel, and the card is heavily about gambling, taking a chance, getting a chance, being lucky or fortunate, long shots that pay off big, things happening for the best, and the words ‘wonderful’ and ‘miracle.’ ‘Opportunity’ is also a frequent favorite word of Wheel of Fortune. Your big chance, your lucky break, lucking out, and Lady Luck herself.

A similar concept is destiny and fate. These words also belong to Wheel of Fortune.

Often, Wheel of Fortune translates ‘best’ in various ways. Today we have: what’s best, for the good of all, best, best ever, your best, the ideal, best interest and ‘the greatest.’

Page of Pentacles A young person, well dressed and good looking, contemplates. This is about self-image, who I am being, and one’s view of anything – perspective on anything. It means to think about or thinking, a knowledgeable person, a person with knowhow, an idea, to consider. It means identity or to identify with.
Six of Cups Little Boy gives Little Girl flowers in front of a large house or apartment buildings. The sweet life, the secure childhood and/or home life. Loving romance. Child or children. A gift given or received. Memories, nostalgia, the good old days, a love of the past. Old-fashioned. An old house or cozy house or house in a nice safe neighborhood.
King of Wands is the common man, the impulsive impetuous uninhibited fellow with the temper who feels entitled to assert himself as a male mammal – the primitive type. He is also the Husband card because Queen of Wands is the skilled housewife-manager. He is also the married man. He can be angry, frustrated, can be a redneck type. He is also the working man, both politically and as to his know-how.
The illustration shows salamanders (which means temper and fire from an old-lore perspective) and red hair (same). He has a bit of a loutish look on his face (I think).
Wheel of Fortune is destiny (karma), coincidence, randomness, chances (and chances are), opportunities. Windfalls, jackpots, miracles and the optimum happening is its strongest influence. It shows the Hebrew ‘Name of God’ in the center, the letters interspersed with ROTA, also reading TARO. Rota means something I intend to learn about someday. Just when a young student is looking at getting married or living together, a windfall happens like a tailwind to a sailboat. So we have real estate, income, windfall and happily-ever-after. Keep thinking of having the good life and it will happen.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Wheel of Fortune and Ten of Cups refer to a wonderful whatever. Wheel of Fortune means that directly, and Ten of Cups is the ‘happily ever after; it’s a wonderful life’ type thing. When each of these cards happens in your life, you get the ‘finally I arrived’ feeling.
Three of Wands and Ten of Cups refer to prosperity. Three of Wands in ‘ships come in,’ income; Ten of Cups is happiness and prosperity, the good life.
The remaining card is a person (usually young male) and it means to think or contemplate. It is also a student.

Three of Wands screams “Your ships are coming in.” The illustration shows a well dressed figure just waiting for the ships he is watching to come in with his money and his merchandise. Wheel of Fortune The name says it all, and the roulette wheel gizmo with the occult symbols on it are another big hint. Page of Pentacles We see a young person thoughtfully concentrating on the pentacle, neatly dressed, good posture, the low-mileage face of youth. Meanings for this Rider Waite Tarot card are: to think or contemplate, concentrate, look at, idea, self, student, young person, your, his, he, envision.
Ten of Cups The Walt Disney or Forties movies idea of marriage and community and family: The house in the suburbs with the rainbow over the roof, the couple hugging sideways while the requisite boy and girl prance around … without the dog? Meanings for this Rider Waite Tarot card are: family, happy, happy family, marriage or marry or marrying, a couple, happily-ever-after, togetherness or together, everybody, everybody gets along, community (or any group in a usually positive way), celebrate, married with children, home, house in the suburbs, single family house, all the ___ people, utopia, the good life, unanimous, the good people of (whatever). We begin with two Rider Waite Tarot cards that refer both to a man thinking and feeling and to a good man. Page of Pentacles’ main meaning is to think, to know, to feel, and to be a good person. Often a male card. King of Cups is the emotional man, the good man, the man who feels affection, often romantically. King of Cups with the succeeding card, Three of Cups, both refer to drinking.
Next, we have Three of Cups which in Emily’s Tarot Verbatim™ system means to share life and good times, to share profits, to celebrate, and to have a romantic date. It stands for ‘the girls’ or The Girl.
THEN we cap this all off with the Wheel of Fortune, which is destiny, a stroke of luck as in hitting the jackpot, ‘It happens!’ and a miracle occurs.
These are elements to the story of this four-card Rider Waite Tarot spread. Consider this an invitation to put these pieces together in some of your own ways, which will be just as valid as these sentences are.
Advice is to strike while the iron is hot both for romance (to get together and share a wonderful evening and perhaps a wonderful life) or for business (the deal is sealed with champagne for all).
Meanings and Illustrations:
Page of Pentacles: Page of Pentacles’ main meaning is to think, to know, to feel, and to be a good person. It’s often a male card, and often has the general meaning of ‘an idea’ or a feeling. It tends to refer to image and once in awhile to a person who is learning as an apprentice. The illustration shows a young person studying an object he holds at eye level and contemplates.
King of Cups: This is the quiet, low-key gentlemanly calm man, often a bureaucrat or paper person. He is emotional, which could be along the lines of being affectionate, warm and fuzzy and/or along the lines of being passive-aggressive, whiny, a drinking man – a weak personality. The illustration makes that point by surrounding his throne with swirling water, ships tossed on waves in the background, and having his right hand in a loose limp grip on a big cup.
Three of Cups: The girls win. The girls are having a girls’-night-out. The girl is on a date. This is a happy celebration at harvest, and harvest is a shared one. Raise your glasses high! These are ‘party girls’ as well, when a guy is down to the titty-bar where the pole dancers are, so they can be performers.
Wheel of Fortune: If you could have one card to live in, this is where you would move. I once heard a competent youngish lawyer, who was established in his practice, say ‘If I had my choice between being a brilliant lawyer and being a lucky lawyer, I would choose being a lucky lawyer.’ This is the big win, the stroke of destiny, the finally-happening event, and the word ‘wonderful.’ Once in a while the destiny is a not-good event, but a preponderance of other cards is what it takes to make Wheel of Fortune mean anything less than the best thing that ever happened.

Romantic Perspective:
He is obsessively aware of such a strong sexual bond that he is your/her love partner.
He is your true-lover because all this very physical guy thinks of is sex, which is true love for him.
They are sexual counterparts of one another, he is sure of that.
The couple is intensely aware of a soulmate level sexual attraction.
He is in love with only her; he has to be her love partner.
His idea is to make her be his lover.
He aims to force himself on a female partner.
He forces himself to be affectionate to be her lover.
This manly dude has an overwhelming receptivity to being her lover.
Great sex is the main thing that makes him love her/you.
He is so in love that he has to be your lover.
This man-woman love connection is all-engrossing to him.
He is obsessed with hooking up with his sexual counterpart.
He relies on divine protection in his sex life.
Business Perspective:
Either the easy way or the hard way he will make partner.

God comes first in his thinking, he has that much of a contact with God.
Connecting with a God that is bigger than himself, that is what he intends.
I could go on. There’s a lot here in these four! The God theme is in the Ace of Cups, the presence of God and channeling God through the Holy Spirit indwelling, and is in Lovers, a connection to God, divine protection and angelic protection.
Both the Knight of Pentacles and the Ace of Wands are male cards and are about ‘the most important’ or being number one, being aggressive, making/forcing, and so on. Knight of Pentacles with Ace of Wands is focusing on the most important factor, sexual obsession, rough sex, even ‘dick head.’ Got to be Number One.
Ace of Wands with Ace of Cups is a prime male-female sexual connection, the soulmate or counterpart connection that gets a man’s attention and cements a love relationship. When you put the Lovers card with it on one end (love partners and ‘connecting’) and the Knight of Pentacles, a guy with ‘one thing on his mind’ on the other end, you have a love layout (pun intended) par excellence. You have what my deceased husband calls ‘lovefucking.’ You also have ‘the easy way or the hard way’ and ‘putting God first,’ and ‘make him/her cooperate.’ You could also have ‘dominate the female’ as well as ‘women first.’
Knight of Pentacles with Ace of Cups is the dude totally in love. It is also a rough dude being mindful to be receptive, to cooperate, to be ‘soft.’
Ace of Cups with Lovers is connecting with God or ‘divine connection’ or divine protection phrased redundantly. It is also true lovers, phrased redundantly.
In business perspective, the ambitious man is the Knight of Pentacles, that focus on the most important factor again. Ace of Wands, to make or force, with Lovers, the partner and the connection, brings out such language as ‘make partner’ and ‘make yourself the equal.’
Advice is ‘Tonight’s the night.’ Lovers doing what lovers do. The guy ‘gets it,’ has ‘one thing on his mind,’ and that’s – redundantly phrased on only four Rider Waite Tarot cards – making love.
Regarding business, a stubborn man gets the idea he has to cooperate to be ‘in.’
Regarding spirituality, connecting with a God that is bigger than himself.
Meanings and Illustrations:
Knight of Pentacles: To focus on one thing. He has one thing on his mind. He has one aim, is ambitious. He is a rough energetic possibly low-class dude. His horse is too. Very Aries.
Ace of Wands: Of prime importance, first, must or ‘got to.’ Make or force. The male, the aggressor, or the aggressive approach. Numero Uno. The hand with the board in it, get their attention by bashing them in the face. The penis personified, so to speak.
Ace of Cups: The loving cooperative receptive approach, characterized by water and illustrated by five flows that represent the five senses. Very female.
Lovers: Connecting. Partners. Divine oversight, divine protection, angelic protection. Sexual energy is expressed by the volcano between a naked man and woman.
