Tarot Readings for You for February 3, 2014 Monday©
Guidance Here we parallel a power struggle between two people with the power struggles we have within ourselves. Watching a skilled people-person handle a challenging delicate situation is educational for a novice, isn’t it? A fellow sees a woman poised to lay hands on whatever stands between her and having money of her own. That’s you with your hands over the lion’s mouth there, getting your predators – internal or external ones – to be quiet and purr for you.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!
People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Page of Pentacles
Five of Swords – Strength – Queen of Pentacles
Five of Swords and Strength There’s an obvious power struggle when you see Five of Swords and Strength. Both of these are intimidating presences. Five of Swords is usually taking advantage, and Strength is usually preventing being taken advantage of. Both are assertive, even intimidating presences.
Five of Swords is the bully, the thief, the one who is a smart alec, who takes advantage of friends … who tends to be cruel and snarly even if he is upper class and has some manners. He is the stock broker who cheats you and smirks but greets you with that professional smile.
Strength is a person or woman who has a presence that diminishes and prevents opposition, and a person or woman who has resolved internal conflicts so that external ones are nipped in the bud. The illustration expresses that eloquently: The lion came to attack and has fallen under her spell, her spiritual mastery. She has her hands shutting his mouth and is petting him.
Strength and Queen of Pentacles are both women who handle things beautifully. They are both in control of their situation. They both have influence as one of their words. The emphasis in Strength is quashing opposition; the emphasis in Queen of Pentacles is taking care of, backing, managing an enterprise, particularly her man’s and her family’s affairs, and particularly financially.

Five of Cups Five of Swords has stolen the weapons of his friends (along with their lands or inheritance by feudal custom) by pretending their sparring was a real battle. Ripping off and betraying and stinging people who trusted him, who are friends: That is he! The bully, wiseass, wiseacre, smart alec, the ‘Ive got mine’ businessman. He carries the Cheney smirk as his insignia.
Strength finesses opposition. She has that touch that makes the predator purr in her presence. It’s about character and/or spiritual mastery. Strength is more about that mastery than about a woman: The finesse can be accomplished by fellows as well as gals. The symbol above her head, the white robe with its garland, are indications of the character, the spiritual superiority.
Queen of Pentacles Skilled. She runs her man’s business or his assets, maybe keeps his books. She has money of her own and is a materialistic and possessive person. She can be witchy (See the goat’s head carvings on her throne and the funky horns on her hat?). This is a wise, loyal (to her clan) and sensible but passionate lady, the Italian matriarch ‘type.’
Page of Pentacles checks things out, thinks and feels about things. A people-watcher, a young self-conscious fellow quite often. Can be a girl too, as all pages can. This Rider Waite Tarot card stands for ‘you,’ for a view of a situation (anyone’s), for an image or a role as well. Pictured is a well-dressed young man contemplating his Pentacle with a thoughtful expression.
