Ace of Cups – In Ace of Cups, we see God infusing (flowing into) a person’s being and influencing other people through that person. Today she even appears as a nanny because she is in a very domestic setting, with love to the left and children to the right. This is a generous, giving, woman, a devoted woman, so today she is taking care of her man as usual, and is taking care of children. Queen of Pentacles – Six of Cups – Eight of Wands

………..……….. .……..…….. We are on the domestic scene here. A woman is a skilled supporter, Queen of Pentacles, the first card. She handles money in the picture there. She is famous for supporting her man, managing his (and her) money, and being family oriented – a matriarch, even. Six of Cups, in the middle, is the children she mothers, and is the love she gives and receives.

Six of Cups is friends too, so we have a woman friend. Eight of Wands makes anything plural, which turns it to women friends. Eight of Wands is talk, which makes it say ‘woman talk,’ ‘things women say,’ and things people say about a woman (or women). Six of Cups is love and romance, so we have love talk. Of course, we also have talk to, and talk about, children. Those two cards (Six of Cups and Eight of Wands, of course) also are ‘things kids say.’

Note that both Queen of Pentacles and Six of Cups are associated with doing favors.
Eight of Wands, the last card, means ‘many’ and ‘all,’ so we have all the kids. Eight of Wands means ‘more and more,’ so she is more and more loved, with Six of Cups being romantic love; she loves more and more; and love talk.

Queen of Pentacles……. Queen of Pentacles – Earth Mother, the keeper of her man, the kids, the books, the whole family business. She is the maven of the clan as well as the domestic engineer. She is skilled, talented, and has some money and some power of her own. Today she is particularly caring for children as well as her man. Today she establishes a loving home life, loving environment due to Six of Cups, romance and trust. She is pictured outdoors surrounded by fertility – all the plants, and the little bunny.
Six of Cups…….. Six of Cups is arguably the most positive – warm and fuzzy – card in the Rider Waite deck. This cozy scene of a little boy giving a little girl a pot of flowers in early Spring evokes sweetness, affection, trust, cozy home life, romance, children, gifts, the good old days, old-fashioned values, and nostalgia. Six of Cups is home-sweet-home, the past, lovingkindness, friends, good memories and nostalgia, giving and receiving gifts. The gifts, of course, come from the little boy giving the little girl flowers. Especially romantic gifts, birthday gifts, and with Ace of Pentacles, an engagement ring. Six of Cups is about a comfortable and safe house and home and neighborhood. It can be a real estate card too.
The children are obviously well-cared-for, and the large building could suggest an estate. These factors suggest prosperity.
Eight of Wands….Eight of Wands shows limbs going through the air, and has meanings the picture does not suggest. A main meaning is communication, verbal or written or any kind at all. It is the card that shows up for texting (lines). It is the card that shows up for a list of any kind. It will say talk, speak, speech, tell – and don’t forget ‘hear’ once in a while too.

This Eight of Wands card has more, and different, effects on neighboring cards than any other. It is a pluralizer (makes plurals) and it also adds suffixes that mean ‘more,’ ‘increasing’ or ‘increasingly’ – suffixes like: er, ier, est, iest. It also drops words into the sentences that do that – lots of different ones – like more, most, moreso, every, all, many, etc. Eight of Wands, along this line, translates: everyone, every one, anybody, another, and even ‘all of us’ sometimes. That is its job. (Ten of Cups more commonly means ‘everybody’ and ‘everyone’ and ‘all of us.’)

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.
