Tarot Verbatim
GUIDANCE To be married with children is her dream. She longs for her own domain; she is born to manage. She runs the household like an enterprise, and she runs a business like a good mama superintends the domestic scene. He is grateful to his mama for his childhood; he thanks her. Her style is so natural the company she works for doesn’t think to reward her for it, though, and she is more maternal than entrepreneurial.

.
Queen of Wands – Some people are born to excel in the physical world; they are the sensible ones who manage the rest of us admirably. I keep an eye open for these skilled individuals and don’t forget their doings. Queen of Wands is such a person. She is one of those people whose kids behave, whose pets behave, whose bills are paid, because she is so ‘no frills’ about everything. So sensible is Queen of Wands, in fact, (Shall we say so Virgoan?) that she is resented by some of her associates, and there’s an air of disapproval concerning her, as skilled as she is. Queen of Wands is competent, and Queen of Wands is organized. Queen of Wands is Wendy in a world full of Peter Pans.
.
Queen of Wands is the married woman, the wife, the mother, the woman whose home this is: That is Queen of Wands’ main meanings. Queen of Wands is closely associated with home, but just as closely associated with being the manager and the sensible one. She is often a homeowner.
.
Nine of Cups – Now here’s an anchor card for you! The chubby fella with the big safunsified grin and the tableful of empties behind him says ‘I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.’ Everyone (in every deck that’s worth considering) calls Nine of Cups ‘Your Wish is Granted.’ It usually translates ‘want’ in some way, or ‘got.’ “I got what I wanted“ is the mantra of Nine of Cups. Nine of Cups is the dream come true, or it expresses the dream itself. No, you noticed that: It does not always indicate possessing what you want right now.
.
Nine of Cups’ other meanings are just a step away from the want, the dream. Here are today’s: fulfills; makes her happy; happy boy; as much as he pleases; profit; would love to have.
.
Nine of Cups also means to enjoy – and Sun means that too. Today that’s expressed as ‘she loves to.’
.
Easily overlooked is Nine of Cups’ pleasing or wanting to please, or being grateful. Today it even says ‘Thank you,’ about gratitude to Mother.
.
Nine of Cups fairly often says forms of ‘satisfy,’ especially ‘satisfaction.’ Its picture expresses the emotion of deep satisfaction when you have what you want and things are going your way. That is contentment, so you may very well translate Nine of Cups as ‘content’ upon occasion.
.
Nine of Cups also translates ‘profit’ and ‘reward’ or ‘rewarding.’
.
The shadow side of Nine of Cups is of course greed, and ‘too much’ or some kind of excess. Once in a while it represents that ‘I got mine’ attitude of people who are entirely too satisfied with themselves.
Sun – Sun is one of those Tarot guys who are all-purpose and scattered; Sun erupts meanings, yet it strangely leaves an obvious one neglected (at least in my practice).
.
It’s a beautiful sunny day, and someone’s brat escapes the house, with its enforced good sense, to play recklessly. The pony the nudist mounts is not having a good day. Somehow the darling child has acquired an oversized banner on a long pole. Bareback and rein-less, his left hand occupied with the banner, his right hand waving free. the youngster enjoys the time of his life. This is how Sun gets to own ‘playboy’ in its directory.
.
The pony grows up to be the horse in Six of Wands.
.
This is a reminder that Sun and Six of Cups are the children cards. They otherwise have very disparate meanings: You could say Six of Wands is the good kids, and Sun is the bratty ones. So Sun interprets as: baby/babies, kid(s), children, happy childhood and childhood, brat, youngster and young, and of course Peter Pan – especially when we have Wendy (Queen of Wands) in the spread.
.
Sun is also your vacation card. It means fun, enjoy, happy, happy boy, happy camper. Florida’s slogan (very briefly because it got to be a joke) was ‘The rules are different here’ and Las Vegas’ slogan still is (I think) ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.’ Sun has this same vibe of ‘no restrictions on your behavior.’ Today Sun is saying: who doesn’t restrict him; once you get out from under; be free; is as free as; escape from; let his hair down; he can be as reckless.
.
Note the boy has snuck out of the house with its rules. Now put this in the back of your mind, with a tab for ‘leaves the house’ and ‘leaving’ because Sun is a card-carrying member of the Leaving tribe in Tarot Verbatim™. Sun comes up for just pulling out of the driveway, for leaving for work in your vehicle, for the ‘leaving home’ of a divorce or separation, for leaving the scene behind that you find restrictive at work or in family life, for escape of any sort, for getting free of anything or being let loose from anything … like the police let you off easy, for instance.
.
.
.
.
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..
… .. ….. … .
.
Queen of Wands is the sensible woman with the orderly house and its rules. Sun is the brat who escapes, nudely, from those sensible rules to cavort bareback and hands-free upon a grumpy pony.
.
Does this scene remind you of those click-bait photos with ‘click here to see what awful thing happened next’? Well, Sun doesn’t report that part of its story: Consequences are never mentioned in its entire dictionary, in all the years of my experience. Go figure. The closest it came, many years ago, was being the ‘ attractive nuisance,’ a legal term
.
No, Sun is about the fun, the sunny day, leaving those restrictions behind, being a kid, childhood, being young, being uninhibited, being on vacation where anything goes, fun, a thrill, the ‘ just wanna have fun’ callous attitude, being a happy camper or a playboy.
.
Leaving, and leaving those restrictions behind, is Sun’s main turf. Liberated. Libertarian. Sun is all about freedom, escape, getting out from under, and being uninhibited and spontaneous – ‘l letting your hair down.’
.
Both Nine of Cups and Sun are enjoying themselves, and look how differently! You could say deep satisfaction is contrasted with thrill. Sun’s fun is often associated with being young and spur-of-the-moment. Nine of Cups is finally having it all.
.
So our main story is the satisfaction of being free of other people’s limitations on us, and having a place of our own where we make the rules. There’s a moral to this somewhere.
. ….. . .

Guidance Women’s lives: We find parallels in sex life, spiritual life, being knowledgeable at work, and getting out of the house for some fun. You could say these are empowering? Strangely “Knowledge is power” is expressed by the same two cards that say “Sex with the Other Woman.” Knowledge is power and spiritual knowledge is freedom. Women who stay home have to get out of the house and celebrate their freedom. And then we find a sexy fella who delivers that fun sex to them if they don’t get out of the house.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Ace of Wands
Queen of Wands – High Priestess – Sun
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
. Queen of Wands drops in again! She and High Priestess are both woman who stay in one place, both competent and knowledgeable – Queen of Wands about practical things and High Priestess about theoretical, scholarly or spiritual matters. Queen of Wands is the hands-on mama or manager; High Priestess is bookish. Queen of Wands is a married woman, and High Priestess appears as ‘the Other Woman’ and as single although she doesn’t specifically and necessarily mean ‘single.’
Now here comes Sun to liven things up (or to be a child). Sun is enjoyment, fun, freedom, ducking out for vacation time. Then we have the idea of getting out of the house, getting away from serious things and being free, having fun … even being reckless. This immediately suggests these ladies getting out for a night on the town.
Queen of Wands (the sensible woman or mama) and Sun say “The sensible woman and her fun fella” or “The kid ducks out of the house rules.” Queen of Wands and Sun also say the wife gets out of the house for some fun.
Lastly is Ace of Wands, another regular visitor lately, who means sex, primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline.
Today Sun is situated as ‘boy toy’ with the penis next to him and two women on the other side. Sun and Ace of Wands say “You have to get out and have some fun.”
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
.
Queen of Wands rules her domain, is in command at work, is a practical common-sense hands-on married woman … your mama. Maybe a nurse or schoolteacher. She is depicted having a big stick in one hand and a sunflower in the other, a cat sitting as upright and looking as alert as she does in front of her.
High Priestess is an expert, knows more than she admits to, and quietly stays in one place. She is feminine and mysterious, the quiet type. This card stands for the feminine principle as the Magician stands for the masculine. She tends to be alone, therefore is often single. She shows up as the Other Woman partly because she is associated with waiting since her main meaning is to be alone in one place. The illustration on this Rider Waite Tarot citizen has Kabbalah symbols on it.
Sun The boy is a free spirit having reckless fun in the summertime, unhindered by any rules including those of common sense. He has left the house to play naked on a pony who is taking a very dim view of his frolic. Today he is situated as ‘boy toy’ with the penis next to him and two women on the other side.
Ace of Wands, another regular visitor here, is associated with male gender and with sex since it has a penis look to it the way it is drawn in our Rider Waite deck. Primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline are also part of Ace of Wands’ dictionary.

Advice has interesting parallels. Sex lives, spiritual lives, and being knowledgeable at work are on the same track in this reading! ‘Knowledge is power’ is expressed by the same two cards that say ‘Sex with the Other Woman.’ Knowledge is power, and spiritual knowledge is freedom. Women who stay at home have to get out and have some fun sometime. And we have the sexy fella who delivers to them if they don’t get out.

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Ace of Wands
Queen of Wands – High Priestess – Sun
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Queen of Wands drops in again! She and High Priestess are both woman who stay in one place, both competent and knowledgeable – Queen of Wands about practical things and High Priestess about theoretical, scholarly or spiritual matters. Queen of Wands is a married woman, and High Priestess appears as ‘the Other Woman’ and as single although she doesn’t specifically and necessarily mean ‘single.’
Then we have the idea of getting out of the house, getting away from serious things and being free, having fun … even being reckless. Which immediately suggests these ladies getting out for a night on the town.
Then we have the Ace of Wands, another regular visitor lately, who means sex, primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Queen of Wands bosses her home, is in command at work, is a practical no-nonsense hands-on married woman … your mama. She is depicted having a big stick in one hand and a sunflower in the other, a cat sitting as upright and looking as alert as she does in front of her.
High Priestess has command of knowledge and stays in one place. She is feminine and mysterious, quiet. This card stands for the feminine principle as the Magician stands for the masculine. She tends to be alone, therefore is often single. She shows up as the Other Woman partly because she is associated with waiting since her main meaning is to be alone in one place. The illustration on this Rider Waite Tarot citizen has Kaballah symbols on it.
Sun The boy is a free spirit having reckless fun in the summertime, unhindered by any rules including those of common sense. He has left the house to play naked on a pony who is taking a very dim view of his frolic. Today he is situated as ‘boy toy’ with the penis next to him and two women on the other side.
Ace of Wands, another regular visitor here, is associated with male gender and with sex since it has a penis look to it the way it is drawn. Primacy or being boss, command, ultimatum, ‘have to’ and meanings like clout and discipline are also part of Ace of Wands’ dictionary.

Four Card Spreads, Tarot Verbatim
Today’s Question is Tell us something about our main problem.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a group question? Phone me up. – Emily
Advice, when we ask about a main problem, is about women not having enough money to rear children. It is about women not being able to get out of the house because of a kid they cannot afford a babysitter for – grandma, even. It whispers that women don’t have or abort babies they can’t afford to support. It also speaks of immature men who are kids themselves, and women who are bitchy due to this stress.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”
The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days.
(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)
*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread
The first spread of our weekend was about the husband, King of Wands, and the family, Ten of Cups. Today’s, the second day, is about the wife, Queen of Wands and a child. We asked about main problem(s). There is not much to this spread, I stretched as far as I could to get us some sentences. We have the wife, the child, not enough (money, usually) and then the edgy, unfulfilled or bitchy/angry woman.
Queen of Wands and Queen of Swords could be an older woman and her adult daughter.
Queen of Swords is missing, mourning, deprived, even bitter and bitchy. Four of Pentacles is to not have enough, or not be enough of.
Queen of Wands is associated with the house, and Sun is getting out of the house.
Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards
Queen of Wands is the wife, the sensible woman, the woman of the house – the house mother. She is in charge, things are in order. She is happy with her cat and her sunflower on her lion throne, a very even-tempered good neighbor.
Sun is a kid having fun, is leaving the house, is a brat, playboy or immature guy. A child, often a boy.
Illustration is a child who sneaked out of the house to play, nude, on a wicked pony. Kid has a huge banner that someone his age could not handle anyway in his left hand, and his right hand is also outstretched. One of the meanings of this card is, of course, ‘reckless.’
Four of Pentacles is short of money, is short changed in some department, is inhibited or withdrawn. This is all about ‘not enough.’ Illustration shows a fellow holding onto his money for dear life.
Queen of Swords doesn’t have enough; she is deprived. Her baby died, and she is missing him, is feeling very negative about this. Even angry. Unfulfilled. Illustration shows a stern-looking woman with her left hand out and in her right a huge sword upright and clutched so as to balance it.
