Client’s feedback:

I do want to give some feedback on the reading and this reading really makes me fall in Love with him even more. I Love that he wants to be the best him and not just for me or the relationship but for himself. He’s such a beautiful man. I’ve been waiting for someone like him to share my life with. We’ve just met only 4 months ago but it’s been so much Love already exchanged between us. We are not in a romantic relationship but I’m just loving how this is unfolding before me. Thank you for this it helps a lot (& I won’t be so hard on him now lol).

Tarot Readings for You for October 29, 2013 Tuesday(c)

Guidance      contrasts conforming to the rules and expectations of our setting with rebelling rudely against them.  Conforming to one’s social setting bequeaths upon one a certain dignity, and being confrontational about the norms deprives one of that same dignity.  Be contemptuously silent to the person who is ‘putting you in your place.’ Stand up energetically for the beliefs and values that count.

Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.

‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Tarot Readings: Pressure to Behave (Hierophant and Seven of Wands)

Under more and more pressure to behave like a lady.

He insists these things should be done by her, and she isn’t doing anything.

Better use clean language around the lady.

So many women have confronted him about behaving himself.

She is silent until the pushy guy’s language is decent and respectful.

Silence is her way of forcing him to use decent language.

Here is a list of rules for the unruly guy from the quiet li’l gal.

She quietly stands up to make things more and more acceptable to herself.

The more pressure to push her out, the more entitled she feels to stay put.

He is confronted about his behavior by her and other people.

Keep insisting this is the way it’s done, and she will be quiet.

You can talk to her ’til you’re blue in the face,’ but she knows what’s right.

You are supposed to be passive when a drill sergeant gets in your face and hollers.
.

Tarot Readings: Standing Up, Speaking Out (Eight of Wands and Seven of Wands)

He defends her good name against all comers.

He feels entitled to push quiet girls around.

A nice girl is raising a lot of hell.

He indignantly insists he is a decent guy as she just sits there quietly.

Stand your ground, stay put, and speak up about how things should be.

.

Tarot Readings: Against What’s Accepted (Hierophant and Seven of Wands)

He resists things becoming more and more traditional between him and the girl.

She knows all about it, and they try to push that official story over.

We are talking about what we should do and not doing anything about these intrusions.

You simply don’t argue with what the Pope says ex cathedra.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

High Priestess

Eight of Wands – Hierophant – Seven of Wands

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Hierophant and High Priestess are religious and spiritual, respectively. Hierophant is ‘behaving yourself’ and High Priestess is ‘not doing anything,’ being passive. Hierophant is commonly accepted opinions, and High Priestess is the expert (informed) opinion.

What Eight of Wands and Seven of Wands have in common is words. They each have other (more dominant) meanings, but Eight of Wands means talk, speak, tell, words, as well as written words; and Seven of Wands is insisting, protesting, mouthing off, and standing up for a position.

Eight of Wands and Hierophant combine the concepts of speaking or language (Eight of Wands) and proper (Hierophant), so together they say things like: clean language, proper English, told to behave. Eight of Wands also means increasingly, so these two make phrases like more and more proper and more and more acceptable. Here is where we got ex cathedra, with Hierophant meaning both ‘official’ and the Pope, and Eight of Wands being ‘speaking.’ Ex cathedra is the Pope’s announcing officially that something is to be believed.

Eight of Wands and High Priestess have written material in common. Eight of Wands is written material (often documents) and High Priestess is associated with book learning: She has a book in her lap, see? High Priestess knows (is an expert), so she knows everything; she knows the words, she knows more and more. Eight of Wands is spoken words, and High Priestess is a lady, which suggests girl talk, talking to a lady, and a lady lecturing as an expert.

Hierophant and Seven of Wands combines proper behavior with pressure, so we get pressure to behave and we get stand up for what’s right, and we get against what’s accepted or proper or traditional. These two could also read against religion or against the church or not about to conform. They could also speak of the proper or acceptable way to protest. Here is where we got the idea that a drill sergeant is supposed to behave aggressively.

Seven of Wands and High Priestess combine being pushy, raising hell, mouthing off (Seven of Wands) with a being a lady, being silent, being the one who knows all (High Priestess). Here we get the picture of the lady holding the fellow in contemptuous silence who is in her face insisting. Here is where we get pressure to behave like a lady.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

..

Eight of Wands shows those sticks flying in the air like a barrage of arrows, which gives us the meanings about ‘more and more’ and ‘one after another’ and ‘fast.’  It also means communication, talking, written material or a list. The lines made by the wands in the air suggest written material, I think.

Hierophant is the pope, the chief and official rule maker for a large religious organization. This is, of course, one of those cards added in the Middle Ages to cleanse the reputation of Tarot.  The main idea here is the ritual or ceremony the public, the peons, are exposed to as opposed to the actual tenets and practices of the ones in power. The meaning that arises directly from the pope is ‘the official story,’ the way things look, the way things are supposed to be, the rules, being respectable.

Seven of Wands What’s he doing here?  This is the spoiler card.  This is the story of neighbors coming against a landowner to take his land, or of the landowner defending himself from them.  This is the story of the mouthy adolescent, the hellraiser or drill sergeant.  The illustration shows a person fighting off a group of stick-bearing fellows.

High Priestess is the feminine principle of passivity and also means knowing, pictured as the high priestess of a temple, the keeper of mysteries. The Rider Waite Tarot card shows all sorts of occult symbols of the Kabbalah surrounding a seated lady who has the sliver moon at her feet. This card advises you to stay put and shut up sometimes. She means those two things.

Advice is all about behind-the-scenes influences, undeclared interests, about someone who wants ‘a piece of the action on the q.t.’ Undeclared influences from the dark side include spiritual ones, greedy ones, even the temptress who overwhelms him with his vices. There is expertise in spiritual combat. When you face your worst fear, it is a spiritual plane encounter. Overcoming addiction is spiritual combat.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days if there is one.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

He must not let the relationship with the other woman influence him now.

She is the temptress who overwhelms him with his vices.

Quiet women are the most lustful, are the ones who won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

As hard as he fights that thing he most fears, he is falling under a woman’s spell.

An expert in battling black magic is a calm person.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Three of four of our Rider Waite citizens today relate to the spiritual or occult. The remaining Seven of Wands means to fight off, to resist, to pressure or be pressured.

So our spread is about resisting unsavory influences, and is about the spiritual plane.

High Priestess and Two of Cups are unknown or invisible influence, are behind-the-scenes factors.

Two of Cups and Moon both refer to malefic spiritual influences a/k/a evil spirits, or a simple bad influence.

Moon and High Priestess are directly occult cards. Moon is ‘The Left Hand Path’ in occult parlance, which we normal folk call evil; High Priestess is the spiritual plane itself and the female principle as an occult concept.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

High Priestess as the female principle, receptivity, stays behind the scenes, is associated with the spiritual plane and the occult. Staying, sitting, refraining from activity or being passive, quiet, being the lady, being knowledgeable, wise or expert – these are its associations. It also can be a mystery, as in the occult being the unknown; and further becomes The Other Woman through (I guess) that back door route.

Its illustration of course shows a seated female (passivity or ‘receptive stance’ plus the female principle). Symbols from the Kaballah abound on the card, such as the ‘B’ and the ‘J’ which stand for the opposite pillars of ‘mercy’ and ‘severity.’

Seven of Wands resists the incursion of neighbors onto his land in its illustration. This most frequently speaks of resisting pressure or influence – or, conversely, pressuring or influencing another. Think ‘Get out of my face.’

Two of Cups is the invisible, unknown or undeclared influence or upon a transaction, person or situation – and not a good influence but a sneaky one, a a rule. It is about getting someone to do something that benefits you instead of them, but making them think ‘something’s in it for me.’ The con, in other words. Or a tax. Or an advertisement. Or propaganda. Or a dude who wants a piece of you. Or a kickback or ‘inducement.’

Its illustration shows a couple announcing their engagement (‘pledging their troth’ with the wine, a ceremony out of the Middle Ages) and a symbol of malefic spiritual influence, the caduceus, is above them to indicate one or both of them ‘have a use for’ the union (like marrying for money or whatever). Many psychics miss this symbol and use this card for romance … which it is, but …

Moon is called ‘the worst card in the deck’ because it means ‘evil.’ As I said, it shows ‘The Left Hand Path’ which is magic’s term for evil magic. We civilians just call it wrong or evil. Pictured on the card are some towers that signify that meaning, as well as a lobster, purple, going on a land journey, and a dog palling with a coyote (unnatural, and bad for the dog). The face in the moon shows some kind of pain or concern, ya think?

Our Daily Spread for Jan. 22, 2011

Tarot reading 1-22-11

He marries his sweetheart no matter what gets in the way

Page of Pentacles
Seven of Wands, Six of Cups, High Priestess

When he thinks of committing to his sweetheart, he resists.
He is in love, he is committed, and he is not ready for this.
He is in love as he should be, defending his sweetheart.
His struggle to give her what he should.
Personally, he does NOT want to be friends with lawyers.
He protests in court about what he has to give his children.
He knows what a struggle his kids have just to be normal.
He protests that he is being fair to the children.
His childhood struggles give him the idea to be fair.
His childhood struggles are what made him a lawyer.
His thinking is correct to be against giving the kids that.

The Seven of Wands is one of those cards that: The illustration says it all. Protest. Struggle. Not let. Pushy. No way! Doesn’t want. The next card is about romance, sweetness, children, giving. Then the Justice card which is obvious, and which means ‘should’ and anything to do with courts or with people who are associated with the justice system: judges, lawyers, police – anyone. The last card is ‘thinking,’ self, ‘he,’ ‘his,’ opinion, concept, identity, ‘the thought,’ etc. They go together in the ways I have listed above, and in ways you can imagine further.

Note: Due to some computer problems this post is very late. It would however, in hindsight, be very interesting to see how your day has gone and if any of the possibilities applied to you or someone you know.  — Stef
