Tarot Verbatim
GUIDANCE You ought to be overwhelmed because you are overloaded, but you have taken it upon yourself because you want to, because you love this thankless task. Other people wonder about you. Underpaid, overworked and still chirping. Your job is therapy when you are depressed, even though it’s part of what’s depressing you? Too many kids for your job? The joy of resolving a rotten childhood and shining yourself up? These are our stories today.
.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!
People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.
‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the three cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined meanings of the three cards in the pictures in the Tarot Readings. It explains how these cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – than a personal reading would give you. Also, pronouns are flexible: If the sentence feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ but you’re a ‘she,’ well, it’s yours.
*AND if you write names of any two cards into the Google search bar, it will give you meanings of those!

Eight of Pentacles – Six of Cups – Ten of Wands
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
……………………… Both Six of Cups and Ten of Wands can be about time, not at all in the same way. Six of Cups is a long time ago; Ten of Wands is taking a long time, dragging something out, or long term. Eight of Pentacles, the other Tarot card, relates to constantly engaging, a consistent effort – which is also somewhat related to time. Both Eight of Pentacles and Eight of Wands can translate ‘always.’ With Eight of Pentacles being the lead card for anything work-related, and also capable of translating ‘steady,’ we have various stories about friends who trust one another to keep doing what they have been doing for a long time. With Six of Cups being love and romance, we have doing everything for love.
………………………….. Eight of Pentacles is a carpenter who is production-minded, hammering away making those pentacles steadily one after the other, at his workbench. He is about work, about keeping at it, about being constant and about repetitive acts.
………………………….. Six of Cups branches out to several applications. Little Boy gives Little Girl flowers: friends, romance, gift (giving, receiving, getting). The pastel artwork with curved lines in Rider Waite Tarot suggests warm-fuzzy topics (See Knight of Cups). The kids are well-dressed. They are in front of an estate or large apartment building. Hence, trust, romance, gift, the sweet life, child, children, childhood, the good old days, old-fashioned, trust, old friends.
………………………….. Ten of Wands is doing it all in one load. We all do that. Let’s just get it over with, we say, then we drag along, overloaded and maybe overwhelmed, but drag along we do. Take it upon myself to do the whole thing, whole project: Ten of Wands is about that too. He is presumed (in Rider Waite Tarot) to arrive, so there’s a smidgen of ‘get it all done’ to Ten of Wands too.
She was talking about her childhood to him, and he, a psychologist, said ‘Oh how awful. How could you handle all that so young?’ and she said ‘Huh? I have a perfectly okay childhood.’ One individual finds a reward where others find punishment. Some people have high tolerance for pain, and some have high tolerance for psychic pain. Others need an aspirin and need to be watered to grow. ‘I love impossible jobs, and I love impossible people’: That’s today’s saga.
.
Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

.
Eight of Pentacles ……….. Eight of Pentacles expands the idea of a job or task which is repetitive to anything at all involving labor, even as a political idea, and anything you keep doing, and to simply being constant, consistent, unremitting, ongoing … even ‘always’ as in ‘always does,’ rather than ‘always is.’ The carpenter has no letup in his pounding as he produces one item after another at his work.
.
Six of Cups…………. Six of Cups is the past, dear friends, romance, giving or receiving a gift or tender gesture, nostalgia and the past (which includes ‘used to,’ by the way), old-fashioned as well as the old days, and children or childhood. Six of Cups is also about house and home – a cozy house and home sweet home. You see the boy giving the girl flowers in front of the big house. Trusted dear friends, past loves, memories and reminiscing: These are Six of Cups turf.
.
Ten of Wands…………. Ten of Wands means difficult or hard. Put it by Eight of Pentacles and you have ‘hard work.’ Ten of Wands is overloaded trying to do it all, taking it all upon himself, enduring something onerously depressing long term. I’m in it for the long haul no matter how bad it gets, Ten of Wands is saying. ‘Backbreaking’ suits the picture of a fellow with too many boards on his back – and Eight of Pentacles makes that ‘backbreaking labor.’

Four Card Spreads, Our Daily Spread
Advice embraces money, romance, politics and children as themes … What else is there? The influential man does it all to make it happen for the kids. Big chance for romance with a very charismatic sexy successful man. We will always live with the manipulations of politicians; make the best of it. Live the honest simple life long enough and you are lucky enough to be in control of it. Old families always luck out. (At the time of production, there’s no way to correct the lack of spaces after punctuation. I am writing around it now!) ========================================================================= Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!
============================================================= Wheel of Fortune King of Pentacles – Ten of Wands – Six of Cups DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. Romantic Perspective He is very romantic, he makes the magic moments happen. Big chance for romance with a very sexy successful man. Eventually it will happen: a successful man adoring the girl. He breaks his back to make the money. His reward is the sweet home life. He gives you everything if he can be The Man in Control – that’s his destiny. At last, his big chance to be the hero of the little girl. This studly man is such a romantic soul: What an opportunity for her! He was destined for the romantic role, everything about his is so studly. The successful man is going all out to make the good life happen for his kids. A man whose strategy it is to always have a chance for romance in his life. Eventually the big romance will happen with Prince Charming. Children, Childhood Perspective It is his burden to be a moneyed man to give the children a wonderful life. He has always been very lucky and had money to do things with since he was a kid. Influential politician’s kids will always have a wonderful life. Being a wonderful father to children is a long difficult effort. His wonderful life was handed to him because his father was always well off. These old influential families always luck out. You are a kid forever until you have money of your own to make your life happen. He waited a long, long time to be able to make this opportunity for his son. If you are lucky, your kid will eventually have power and influence of his own. Politics, Power and Money Perspective Being friendly with whoever is in power, you eventually get lucky and cash in. We will always live with the manipulations of politicians; make the best of it. Money men have all the power; you are lucky if you get something from them. ========================================================================= MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD King of Pentacles is a man with money and influence, a strategist, maybe a financier or even a politician. His main concept is manipulation; he makes things happen. I think of him as Al Capone, myself. Along with him we have Wheel of Fortune: Things happen, hitting the jackpot, destiny. Then we have the Six of Cups established family scene with the children receiving the sweet life, who just happens to be also the main romance Tarot citizen. Old times, old friends. Lastly, the long time part is echoed by Ten of Wands, and so is the ‘plenty of” theme. So we interlock here mostly in sub-meanings, not in leading ones. It’s easy to see a well off fella making the good life happen for the kids, isn’t it? MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS King of Pentacles is the manipulator and the strategist, maybe the politician or bankster, the well off successful charismatic studly dude ‘all the girls want.’ Think Al Capone. Think Prince Charming. And yes, this is an Italianesque Rider Waite Tarot card. Ten of Wands speaks of the extreme, of taking it all on all at once, of the difficult and the burdensome process that is slow but does get there in one trip. The depiction of a fellow who is carrying all the logs in one trip says it all well. Six of Cups blesses us with its presence again. This is the sweet old-fashioned honest life, the sweet old-fashioned romance, the sweet old-fashioned person. It about a gift, receiving or giving same. It is about little boy gives little girl flowers. Wheel of Fortune is the stroke of luck, the unexpected winning or boost. Destiny. ‘It’ happens (usually what you want and have hoped for). What reminds you of a roulette wheel is surrounded by all sorts of occult symbols that echo this meaning. Personally I like that goose in the upper right with its foot on the book. MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Today’s theme is caring for relatives, children and the home – and caring both financially and lovingly. Both Queen of Pentacles and Hermit are caretakers. She takes care of her man and her man’s financial affairs as the loyal worldly wife. He is the devoted loyal kind supportive man who is faithful.
Six of Cups is also taking care lovingly and taking care financially. It embraces romance and children. It is also the old home, the family home, the good old days, sweet memories.
Ten of Wands adds ‘a long time’ and ‘very much’ to all this loving care.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Queen of Pentacles takes loving care of her man and her man’s financial affairs as the loyal worldly wife. She takes care of his estate or home. Stereotypically the assertive Italian matriarch. There she is with her hands on the money in the fertile fields (See the bunny rabbit there?)
Ten of Wands is the extreme: it is longer, deeper … more. It goes on forever. It takes on the whole load in one exhausting operation. See him there with all the firewood on his back?
Six of Cups is romance and children, so the illustration is of the little boy giving the little girl flowers. It is about old neighborhood, old times, old house. Nostalgia galore.
Hermit is mature. He is devoted, supportive, loyal, monogamous, faithful, honest, helpful … sounding like a Boy Scout. He is the old man, the grandfather. That is the aspect of him we are using today. He is the counselor and way-shower too. Rider Waite even pictures him as the monk in search of strangers to help in the middle of the night.
