Tarot Readings for You for April 11, 2014 Friday©

Guidance      This is a simple reminder that when I have not done something satisfactorily or right to suit someone (or others), and there’s a protest or complaint, it’s a crisis for me.   I am on alert to make it right one way or the other.   Edgy unreasonable people invite me to step outside, determine what works, and do just that, impersonally.   Court proceedings often involve unreasonable people, and unreasonable people find other ways to annoy me too.   It’s my job to not be annoyed so I can focus.   It’s also my job not to be that edgy annoying complainer, isn’t it? This advice even has a few remarks about sexual situations.

Ace of Wands

Six of Pentacles – Judgment – Page of Swords

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

We have two justice cards and two cards that mean ‘threat.’

Six of Pentacles and Judgment        are both legal cards. Six of Pentacles is legal proceedings, service of legal papers, payments to the court (or ordered by the court). It is also doing right by people (particularly employees); paying proper attention; giving a person his due; a commercial transaction; delivery; giving and/or receiving (money or attention, usually). Look for it to mean paying fines and legal fees too. Judgment is a decree or verdict, and an announcement by a judge. It also means a renewal or recovery, a repeat, or going back. It’s a new phase or new life, too – but not so much today. Today it’s an announcement and a surprise.

Page of Swords and Ace of Wands       Page of Swords and Ace of Wands are both threats or threatening. Page of Swords feels threatened – that creepy ‘something’s out there’ sensation we all get. He is all worked up, fearful. He also means to be thrilled, motivated, turned on, excited, etc.

Since, in Tarot Verbatim, cards mean both sides of the scene they depict, Page of Swords is threatening, has a mammoth chip on his/her shoulder, is thrilling or motivating others or creating excitement.

Ace of Wands is to use force, to be a threat or be threatened, to hit, to assert, and to be male. (It looks like a penis.) Oh yeah, it means sex too. Especially today.

So Page of Swords and Ace of Wands are both threats or threatening. Together, they say ‘sexual excitement,’ don’t they?

Six of Pentacles      An employer weighs the money he pays his workers. He is being fair. He is treating them right, giving them their due respect (yeah, never mind that they are on their knees to get their money). The scales of justice in his hand put this Rider Waite Tarot card in the legal category, so it means legal proceedings and, to a lesser extent, prosecution and police subjects.

Page of Swords       Something’s out there that is a threat, an unseen something. He whirls around, weapon drawn and brandished, standing on a knoll in full view of a flat panorama of … vacancy. This Rider Waite Tarot card often refers to threats but also picks up the body state and means motivated, excited, thrilled, and so on.

Ace of Wands      A hand with a club in it. The club is sprouting life. This card stands for the male gender, penis, assertion or aggression, threat, primary or primacy or Number One. The most important. A win or victory.

Is this the first time you come here? Well …

HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you. They are a Tarot analysis of your day’s circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. Some of this information refers to a longer time period. The question is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.” Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day! Some days are ‘keep an eye open’ and some are ‘green lights.’

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.

The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences. It is the favorite of most of us.

Remember to share your experience with a comment here if you have words for it … I spend two or more hours a day writing to you, after all! Say hello back!

Photos of the animals that the people who call me support are in with the articles I wrote for you. Enjoy them too! Stefanie is the one who has posted the few we have here. She did not do much with a hundred or more I sent her. Later!

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day. I analyze business situations accurately too. (Testimonials are on the web site.)

Queen of Wands

Six of Pentacles, Wheel of Fortune, Page of Swords

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread and Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards

Our first two Tarot cards share a meaning of ‘payoff.’ Six of Pentacles is to get paid what you are due (or to pay out what is due).

(That is the Rider Waite Tarot card that shows the employer weighing coins into the hands of kneeling workers in rags.)

Wheel of Fortune is a lucky strike like a lottery payoff. (It shows what looks like a roulette wheel, and has all sorts of occult signs and symbols.)

The Page of Swords is all excited and upset about something. He is on guard.

(This is the card that shows the fellow whipping his head around, brandishing his sword about when no one is around for miles in a circle, and he can see that.) Yes, he is being neurotic at this moment.

Queen of Wands is in charge here today as the Manager and the Wife. As the competent woman, the two cards that refer to ‘payoff’ relate to her mostly – depending on what meaning the Page of Swords is using.

(The Queen of Wands is the very down-to-earth woman who runs things efficiently, no-nonsense … probably no lipstick? She is a cat-person, and a single plain sunflower will do for her.)

Advice is very plain and simple. Being competent creates a chance to be rewarded, but it is just that: a chance. Be on your guard. Maybe your wife will be paying the bills while you develop your opportunity. Maybe it is her opportunity, her chance. Something wonderful is afoot and there’s a tension, an uncertainty, that accompanies that.

TAROT ANALYSIS

Business Perspective:

Exciting opportunity to be paid for her competence.

Manager is anxious about receiving her big bonus.

She is well rewarded for her competence, which engenders jealousy.

She is excited about her big opportunity to be paid well.

The woman who owns the place is paying him a bundle to guard it.

She is paid to orchestrate this exciting event.

Married Life Perspective:

His wife being paid this huge windfall is a big threat, to him – he is angry about it.

He is afraid his wife will cause him to get what he deserves: payback.

His wife supports the excitable neurotic: isn’t he lucky?

Nervous about paying the bills – is lucky to be married to her.

He is a high-strung dude and his wife is so pragmatic (practical): This is his chance to get some respect.

This is his big chance and he is excited about it. His wife can cover their bills.

Our Daily Spread for Jan. 26, 2011

Tarot reading 1-26-11

No basis for anxiety about paying her bills

Queen of Cups
Six of Pentacles, World, Page of Swords

She thinks anxious thoughts about paying the bills but there’s nothing to worry about.
She is anxious about her salary but she has no problem there.
She is afraid he will get what he deserves but she has no part in that.
The court case or litigation will do her no harm but she still feels threatened by it.
She is excited about getting the money – will have no problems after that.

Illustrations:

Six of Pentacles is a money exchange. The employer is paying workers very carefully what he owes them. So the main meaning of this Rider Waite Tarot card is to pay or to receive payment. It also means fair, fairly, justice, process of lawsuit or court action because of the scales of justice illustrated.

World is a complex card with nuances galore. Its main applied concept is to be safe from whatever threat is ‘out there.’ It also means mastery, expertise, no problem or trouble. She is in ‘a world of her own,’ dissociated and unconcerned at times and at times ‘her beautiful body’ is the part that is emphasized. Here, it’s all ‘no problem, no harm, nothing to worry about,’ as well has ‘having no part in that.’

Page of Swords: Well there he is all riled up, anxious, upset, perhaps pissed off, paranoid, and touchy. He feels threatened and is on the alert. He also can be guarding. Turf is likely involved in any of this. Here it is all  ‘anxious, afraid, threatened,’ until you get too  ‘excited.’

Queen of Cups: Here it is just ‘she’ and ‘she thinks.’ The Queen of Cups is a nice lady, She thinks about her man usually. Not so much here. She is the stereotype of what black slang calls ‘vanilla,’ meaning a mild tempered woman.

Well, again I did a second spread. I didn’t feel this said much. And, here we go again, the second spread is very parallel.

Tarot reading 1-26-11b

Anxious about the problem but she has enough money to run her house

Nine of Wands
Queen of Wands, Devil, Queen of Pentacles

She has the money to run the house but is anxious that it’s a big problem.
He is anxious about his wife getting her hands on so much of his money that he would have a big problem.
She is capable of managing her own affairs and living in her house in spite of a disability or disabling anxiety.
A disabled woman is anxious about money to take care of herself, her home.

Illustrations:

Queen of Wands: She runs her place, whether home or business, in a practical down to earth way. She may have a pet: See the cat. She is capable.

Devil: This is an ‘up pops the devil’ kind of thing usually. It means attachment; it means physical – has lots of meanings that are not as ugly as this illustration! (In the Marseilles deck, the devil is more like the playful prankster Loki of Norse mythology.) Often it means, as it does here, a problem. A big problem, real or imagined. It can mean sickness, disability. It can mean an ugly or crass person. Definitely ill tempered, rude and so on. The loose chains suggest a problem of your own making that
you can undo. And of course this card includes black magic, dark occult, dark side subjects.

Queen of Pentacles: She is capable. She has the money. She takes care of her man, her household. She can be possessive. She can be greedy. Right now, she just has the money to run the household, since she is appearing with the Queen of Wands, who is also capable and connected to running a household.

Nine of Wands: He is anxious. He is on guard, the border guard, and he has already been injured. The head wound is sometimes the emphasis.

See the parallels. The Page of Swords in the first spread and the Nine of Wands in the second both mean anxiety. A (big) problem is expressed in the World card in the first (which means the problem does not get to her) and the Devil in the second. The Six of Pentacles and the Queen of Pentacles involve having money to pay household bills – a little different slant on each but they both are in that slot. The Queen of Cups and the Queen of Wands are both good citizen women, domestically inclined women.
