Our Daily Spread for September 28, 2011 Wednesday©

Advice is about serving the boss –  whether it is a health caretaker and her patient –  whether it is a skilled bookkeeper and the federal agency she works for … or works for its contractor to get paid.  She lovingly cares for the cagey old man. It is even about serving God with one’s talents in the same skilled devoted way.  In each of these scenarios there is more than meets the eye,  there is something undeclared.

(At the time of production,   there’s no way to correct the lack of spaces after punctuation.  I am writing around it now!)

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is  “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say to you.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)  Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Emperor

Queen of Pentacles –  Six of Wands –  Ace of Cups

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:   OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

So, are you wondering how we get crooked bookkeeping for a government and channeling the presence of God out of the same four Rider Waite Tarot citizens?

As I have pointed out,   four unrelated cards can produce varied stories.   That is what we have here.   Ace of Cups can mean the presence of God and channeling that presence.   Emperor can mean any ultimate authority –  hence God the Father,  or God  …  or a federal agency or federal level of government.   Ace of Cups is also innocent or innocence.

Six of Wands is duplicitous and is chicanery.   It is about tricking and about seeming to be something it is not.   It is about impersonating or misrepresenting oneself.   And Queen of Pentacles –  with the money in her hands and being the woman who takes care –  is both the bookkeeper and the health care giver.   Picking up the Ace of Cups,   she is loved for her fancy figures or is devoted to or loved by our boss card,  Emperor.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:   INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Queen of Pentacles could be the stereotypical loyal Italian matriarch sort of a wife and mother who is a partner in her man’s fortunes.  She takes care and is the caretaker.  She is skilled,  talented and competent.  Queen of Pentacles –  with the money in her hands and being the woman who takes care – i s both the bookkeeper and the health care giver.

Six of Wands is duplicitous and is chicanery.  It is about tricking and about seeming to be something it is not.  It is about impersonating or misrepresenting oneself.  Tricky.  Ins and outs.  Go along with.  Suckers.  Cagey.  Undue influence.  These are some of its phrases today.

Six of Wands’ illustration shows the story of the betrayal of King Richard III.  It is of course one of the cards that joined this deck in the Middle Ages.

Ace of Cups in Rider Waite is a Roman Catholic citizen.  It shows the wafer, the dove as the Holy Spirit,  with five flows of water representing five body fluids and/or five senses.  So channeling the presence of God or the Holy Spirit is right up its alley.  Its main meaning has to do with cooperation,  a flow,  innocence and devotion and true love.

Emperor is the boss,  the ultimate authority whether in a bar or in a castle.  That is how he can be God or the government.  He is an old or older man –  often rigid and dictatorial. He is daddy.
