Tarot Readings for You for September 20, 2014 Saturday(c)
Guidance Sometimes I wonder how far I can trust reality. Is it real, or is it just real in my own context, and I’m not part of the bigger picture that would see this situation in a whole different light? This is not a contemplation for a sober person, if you know what I mean. It’s a contemplation for a person who can make a hypothesis (a theory) and isolate it for ‘later’ as soon as the morning sun comes up. Today Tarot talks like this, about keeping to yourself and not fitting into other people’s games, about insulating yourself from the general scene. Is she just playing hard to get, and am I really minding my own business? We talk about how people gang up on a person they know little to nothing about. If you don’t have agendas, you aren’t interesting to anyone, we observe. Everybody is minding my business but me, it seems.

Tarot Readings: Playing Hard to Get (Six of Wands and World)
If a gal is by herself, a guy is wondering how to get to her.
She isn’t in his circle, so he is thinking up excuses to contact her.
He wonders why shapely women get to him like this.
Is she just playing hard to get?
Tarot Readings: How Can You Take Yourself Out of the Picture? (World and Seven of Pentacles)
If you don’t have agendas, you aren’t interesting to anyone.
People wonder what you’re up to when you isolate yourself.
Everybody is minding my business but me, it seems.
How can you fool somebody who isn’t paying attention?
Nothing gets to her, or does it just seem that way?
How can you not play a part in what’s going on around you?
What is he up to? – he cannot influence a maverick like her.
It’s everywhere, so it’s unlikely you can totally avoid exposure to it.
Tarot Readings: I Don’t Know What’s Real (Six of Wands and Seven of Pentacles)
I don’t know whether it’s real or not – who cares?
I am not interested because I question your motives.
Why should I play a role when I don’t fit in, or want to?
I don’t think it’s an act: She really does dance to a different drummer.
Does it just seem that cutthroat? – I don’t know; I block it all out.
Why wonder who you can trust when you don’t have to know anyone?
You think you’ve got her persuaded, and she’s off in her own world.
Don’t join anything, because you never know what you will get into.
I thought I was minding my own business; maybe I’m faking it?
Tarot Readings: Miscellaneous
The puzzle is how to market to people we are not reaching.
They assume her skill level is not really a fact.
Tarot Readings: Intrigue in the Absence of Contact (Six of Wands and World)
There doesn’t seem to be anything we can pin on her or blame her for.
We doubt our informant can get anywhere near that woman.
Sleazeballs like him don’t seem to take notice of that type of person.
He isn’t what he seems, and no one seems to care about that.
He is some kind of political animal, I think – I have nothing to do with him.
We have our guard up when phonies like So-and-So are around, don’t we?
You’re having nothing to do with someone who betrays you … right?
People you don’t know ask you trick questions.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

Six of Wands – World – Seven of Pentacles
.
.
………………….…………………… In the center is World in a world of her own, shutting out the outer world so skilfully that it doesn’t know her. She is a master at that, you know. She is not influenced, period. To her left and right are two cards that are both about seeming. Six of Wands only seems to be whatever, and Seven of Pentacles speculates whether things are as they seem. Drama today is Six of Wands’ attempted invasion of World’s iron defenses. Six of Wands’ subversive or seductive influence is aimed at a person who acknowledges no influence.
…………………………. . Six of Wands is deceitful and deceptive. It is about being involved in a campaign (maybe a loyalty or belief system) that is designed to entrap you, about a Pyrrhic or false victory that happened to King Richard III. He won a battle against Arabs but they kidnapped him and the next in line to the throne of England arranged the whole thing: betrayal, unbridled hateful self-interest, and things being not as they seem. Six of Wands is advice to mistrust the environment. It is also strongly about pretenses, and things virtual, false images and such. Ephemeral. Interpretations and codes. Such things as that.
………………………….. World knows about mistrust of environment; she, the Master of Both Worlds, insulates herself from interference by reason of her expertise …. She has been there and done that. All of it. This is the martial artist the street punks duck, operating on all planes (master of both worlds). She isn’t interested, isn’t available, doesn’t answer the phone or door, doesn’t know ya (similar to Nine of Pentacles).
World represents filters and barriers generally, too. It can be the immune system – or a seawall in an inquiry about a hurricane, for instance. It translates ‘can’t get through to’ often. Its most common concept is ‘to shut out’ or ‘to be shut out.’ It is about a superior person, a spiritual person, the highest level of skill … and a curvy woman. (Voluptuous dames ignore guys on the make reflexively.) It is advice to isolate yourself, be private, and shut out the world.
……….………….. Six of Wands and World The drama today is Six of Wands’ invasion of World’s ironclad border. Six of Wands is a sneaky nosy bastard, the frenemy in your camp, maybe a Richard Nixon schemer type. He or she is often a mooch of some variety. This is the creep who seems to always get people on his side like a politician (and he does show up for politics in your spread – any kind of politics).
World is being detached from whatever is going on around you in such a way you are invisible to schemers like Six of Wands. World is ‘I don’t live in my skin.’ World lacks self-interest, ‘has no pony in the race.’ That wreath is not just the guard we put up when we feel defensive about something or someone; it also represents the disregard *a person who is dedicated to something else* has for pests and for mundane routine things in general. Think Einstein or Beethoven and the landlord.
World does not counter the attack; World does not acknowledge that it is an attack. It’s like arguing with someone who ‘doesn’t get it’ or doesn’t speak the language. She is not playing the game, so the gamesters count her out. She is a sophisticate to Six of Wands’ gutter mentality. World, yes, represents power.
……………..………….. Seven of Pentacles is the audience, the bystander here. He wonders, he asks questions, and he is not involved in the story. You could say he is a simpler and partial reflection of World. Seven of Pentacles is a ‘Duh’ card. He doesn’t get it (either). It represents doubt about an outcome due to a factor that is unknown: will I get cucumbers on my bush, when I don’t know whether both genders of the plant are present?
………..………….. Six of Wands and Seven of Pentacles Six of Wands and Seven of Pentacles describe questioning someone’s motives, or questioning the realness of a situation. These two Tarot cards are getting that ‘must be up to something’ feeling. The thought in the back of your mind about ‘Is she just playing hard to get?’ or even ‘Am I really minding my own damned business here, or not?’
Both Six of Wands and Seven of Pentacles involve ‘seem’ and ‘seeming.’ Six of Wands is not what he, she, it, or they seem; Seven of Pentacles translates ‘seems to me’ or ‘it seems’ frequently.
………..…………… World and Seven of Pentacles World and Seven of Pentacles are saying “I don’t know and I don’t care.” Seven of Pentacles doesn’t know, and World doesn’t care.
Wherever you are, other humans are going go butt in, get in the way, and pretend to be on your side when *what they are interested in* is your dinner. Shortsighted ignorant self-interest is the nature of the human beast. Today we contemplate resigning from the drama by resigning from your interest, your part, in whatever is going on around you. If you don’t have a pony in the race, you don’t care who wins the race, and you don’t have to show up for it. The central idea is that when you no longer are vested in other people’s business, you have the energy, the time, and the resources to dedicate to your own. It boils down to focus.

Six of Wands ……… represents an intent to seduce or to influence. Six of Wands is about consequences of being part of something. It is about getting drawn in to a campaign, circle of people, belief system – anything at all – and getting hurt as a consequence. No individual lemming wants to kill itself. The illustration is the story about King Richard’s victory in a battle with Arabs, in which the second-in-line to the throne of England arranged for him to be kidnapped by the enemy. A cause he was part of trapped him inescapably. Six of Wands is about influencing people, about propaganda and loyalties and causes. Oh. And bloodsucking. Remember the action described in each card applies both (or all) ways, so Six of Wands can represent duping someone, or being duped.
.
World …………. represents being beyond and above all that, being not influenced. World is on a level of its own, focused on something on that level, and completely disinterested in what’s going on outside the window. World’s illustration pictures shutting out the outer world so skilfully that it doesn’t know you’re there. World is an expert or master at a skill, in readings. This card’s most common phrases are ‘to shut out’ and ‘to be shut out.’ Spiritual expertise gives one power, and World represents this concept. World is an expert, a superior person, a disinterested party, a voluptuous woman and someone who is unapproachable in readings, often. This card can be advice to cut connections, isolate yourself, be private, mind your own business, shut out interference … shut out the world.
.
Seven of Pentacles ………. is when you don’t know something that applies to something you are concerned with. He is wondering whether his labor is going to be rewarded with a crop, whether there are male and female plants to make fruit. This is a card that puts the sentence into a question, a ‘Duh’ card. Seven of Pentacles shows up for asking a question or being asked one.
