Guidance |
So our story is that we reach peace within ourselves by getting upset and getting over it. We also say you can tell someone all about it, and they will still head into the nightmare that is going to wise them up. Sometimes, our happiness comes from what aggravates us leaving the scene. You feel so good when you quit hitting yourself on the head with the hammer.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

Six of Swords
Mother and child are paddled away from some dreary existence like refugees by a friend who helps them out. It’s a gray day as they huddle in the shallow little boat. Times will be better because they have been so bad. The worst is over. Leaving this place for something better. Getting over the hurt. Washing that man out of her hair. But most of all, things are looking up.
Nine of Swords is up nights crying, is having nightmares, is upset, worried, distraught, sitting bolt upright in bed in the middle of the night, holding his or her head in the classic pose of grief.
She who has been there and done that and therefore is just staying here as the all-knowing expert who need do no other thing but occupy her space beautifully. He has the wisdom that is hidden, she knows the secrets, and she is calm, content and sedentary. She is the feminine principle of passivity on the physical plane, which qualifies her to mean ‘lady.’ She also comes up as ‘the other woman.’
Star feels good all over, is singing in the shower. Star is spilling your guts, confessing, doing a sales pitch, performing. Star is healthy. Star is the good news. We see a woman performing a ritual bath (ablution) in a pond, pour from two pitchers into the water, and singing.
Now Without The Pictures |
In the middle, we are so upset, anxious, stressed out, up nights not sleeping over some grief – Nine of Cups. To the right, we are at peace and wise about life – High Priestess. To the left, we are getting over it for better times ahead – Six of Swords. Over it all, we are happy, there’s good news, we are healthy, and we are telling about it – Star.
Both Star and Six of Swords are saying things are looking up.
