Tarot Readings for You for February 26-27, 2018 Monday-Tuesday©

GUIDANCE        I do some things for the sheer joy of it. It’s a silly activity but here I am doing it publicly again and loving every minute of it. A competition for a shapely woman amounts to fighting over stupid stuff, but those bulls sing their hearts out and engage one another again and again. He is intensely involved in loving that fine cow, and he keeps doing it with all his energy.

.

Star A number of religions both ancient and modern have ceremonies that involve bathing or doing a ceremony in water. That is what Star depicts. Star is singing and pouring water into a pond, a nude shapely woman. Since she is singing, Star is a card for music, for performance. Star belongs to the speak/tell/say Tarot tribe too. Naturally Star is also about a beautiful woman, or about a woman being beautiful, shapely, or voluptuous.

.

Star is all about enthusiasm, being upbeat, even been a cheerleader or proponent – and that extends to publicity and advertising, as well as including inspiring speech or inspired feeling.

.

Star also means to be in robust health, to ‘feel good all over’ health-wise as well as emotionally.

Five of Wands One writer in social media sometime back speculated these guys are taking down a tipi. Five of Wands is about physical activity, particularly intense physical activity. The main categories for this are: sports; exercise; fighting. Sports brings in a category about competition, which doesn’t have to involve anything physical – sometimes it’s competition from suitors, or companies competing. Exercise brings in anything that works up a sweat or involves intense activity. ‘Activity’ is one of Five of Wands’ words. And this category brings in a common translate for Five of Wands you might not think of: intensely involved. It also brings Five of Wands a ‘high energy level’ category of phrases.

.

Fighting is a main meaning for Five of Wands, and fighting also includes being against, and includes resisting. The word ‘hard’ gets involved here as well, since Five of Wands is about putting all your energy into something – anything, really. Watch for Eight of Pentacles and Eight of Wands to mostly say ‘hard work,’ for instance.

Two of Pentacles Two of Pentacles has two sets of meanings that are opposite from one another. These are based on the illustration. In the background, ships are in a very unstable situation, tossed on gigantic waves. In the foreground, a skilled juggler dances while he moves items back and forth, in and out, up and down – not to mention sideways. Two of Pentacles is a performer (as is Star), which brings in some more meanings. One of them is ‘routine,’ which also arises from the cycle, the regularity, of what he is doing onstage. Another word Two of Pentacles gets from the moves he is making is ‘rhythm’ and its synonyms.

.

Quite apart from all that, Two of Pentacles’ attire bring this card meanings like: silly (mainly), goofy, antics, stupid stuff, etc.

.

Two of Pentacles is one of those ‘continuing’ cards: continuing action, keep up or keep doing, keep trying, over and over, every once in a while one after another, ongoing, on and on, constantly – and Eight of Pentacles shares these directly, while Three of Wands echoes the ‘continual’ part. Two of Pentacles also represents whirling or circular motion (even translating ‘circular’ when it isn’t about movement). Today, for instance, we have ‘ stir up.’

.

Movement is a large source of meanings for this Two of Pentacles Tarot card. Not only individual movements found in the first paragraph here – and more – but phrases that combine movement with the regularity Two of Pentacles also means: gets things going; keeps going; must go on.

.

An unexpected application of Two of Pentacles is its either-or, so-so, and something else translates. You rock your hand when you intend ‘kinda-sorta,’ which is the movement Two of Pentacles is making. You will find yourself getting creative with words for this Two of Pentacles card once you are used to its applications, maybe having it say ‘fits and starts’ and such.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

                     LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..

.. ….. …       .

Star and Five of Wands are about giving it all you got – throwing yourself into an activity with gusto, with enthusiasm.

.

Star and Two of Pentacles are each, separately, about a performance, both as on-stage performance and the word ‘ performance’ or ‘ perform’ itself. Star specifically is about a sung or spoken performance, which includes sales pitches, publicity, advertising, and enthusiastically endorsing something or missionarying for recruits. This concept waters down to merely speaking: Star is a card-carrying member of the speak/tell/say Tarot association.

.

These three cards call up a number of common phrases when they are paired. Sports fan is Star being enthusiastic, cheering, and Five of Wands as sports or competition. Exercise regularly is Five of Wands as exercise, and Two of Pentacles as regularly. They also say ‘ keep moving’ or ‘in constant motion.’

.

And Star with Two of Pentacles says ‘ The show must go on’ and ‘sing a silly song’ as well as ‘ keep talking’ or ‘chatterbox’ or even ‘drones on.’

.

The three cards you see here say a number of things I did not include in our one-sentence readings. Here are two examples: Exercise regularly to feel good’ and ‘ A performance with fast or aerobic movement.’

Remember those times you had to give it all you got enthusiastically because the activity was some kind of ceremonial, official, contest that you really didn’t care about? Public speaking is a silly competition I make an aerobic effort to perform. We make kids recite things for relatives or strangers, and it feels as phony as swearing your plea bargain was not suggested to you by either the prosecutor or your attorney – that it was all your own idea, and you swear to it.

Tarot Readings for You for April 28, 2013 Sunday(c)

Guidance      So what have we got to say, overall, here? It boils down to sometimes you get things going the way you want by talking, saying, explaining, presenting your case, and then again, sometimes you should shut up or not say anything in the first place. That sounds simplistic, but it is about timing, and timing is the turning point in our histories, isn’t it?

.

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

These answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute.

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING

Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Tarot Readings: Not Talking; Not Wanting to Hear (Star and Four of Cups)

Tarot Readings: Talking, Keep Talking (Star and Two of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Happy About What Didn’t (Star and Four of Cups)

Tarot Readings: And Sometimes I’m Not (Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles)

Tarot Readings: Keep Trying and You’ll Get It (Nine of Cups and Two of Pentacles)

.

Tarot Readings: Not Talking; Not Wanting to Hear (Star and Four of Cups)

Over and over, I get exactly what I want when I don’t say a thing.

I’m not going to repeat myself: I told you what I want.

I don’t want to hear the incessant propaganda.

Not going to keep telling (them) what (they) want to hear.

Don’t talk so much; it is NOT to your benefit!

Keep refusing to say what they want you to.

I have always wanted to NOT run off at the mouth.

I don’t want to explain this over and over.

Didn’t want to say that, it just slipped out.

Didn’t get around to saying it the way I wanted to.

Tarot Readings: Talking, Keep Talking (Star and Two of Pentacles)

I want to keep talking and (they are) refusing to hear me.

Yeah, you want to go on and on, and I don’t want to hear it.

I keep telling you what I want and you do not respond.

Someone talks incessantly about not being happy.

Over and over, what I say falls on deaf ears.

Keep asking when they aren’t forthcoming with what you want.

Silly talk cheers us up when things are not going our way.

I don’t want (him/her) to say one thing and then the other.

Tarot Readings: Happy About What Didn’t (Star and Four of Cups)

Sometimes I am happy that I didn’t get what I prayed for.

Sometimes we are happy when we do not get what we want.

So happy, so grateful, about the things that are NOT going on.

If you keep getting everything you want, you are not a cheerful person.

Tarot Readings: And Sometimes I’m Not (Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles)

If you want to be a happy camper, say ‘No’ sometimes.

I manage to please everyone I want to, but sometimes I don’t want to.

The show must go on even when we are not in the mood for it.

Sometimes I am grateful for all that I have, and sometimes not.

He keeps coming around but doesn’t want to be crazy about you.

Doesn’t want to bathe regularly.

Tarot Readings: Keep Trying and You’ll Get It (Nine of Cups and Two of Pentacles)

I am not performing well, but I keep trying until I am satisfied.

Not quite the confident upbeat cheerleader I want to be yet, but I’m turning into one.

When I’m not erratic, I will be pleased with my performance.

No more ups and downs, be as happy as you want to be.

Can’t say what I really want; I’m being indecisive.

.

Two of Pentacles

Star – Nine of Cups – Four of Cups

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

First thing that hits you in the face looking at these shiny Rider Waite Tarot faces who have shown up at our table for today is Star and Nine of Cups … totally happy and thrilled. Star is enthusiasm, feeling great, thrilled, a fine performance. Nine of Cups is things going exactly the way you want, getting everything you want, feeling satisfied and gratified. Being grateful and being pleased are an undertone of the convergence of these two in Tarot Verbatim(TM).

Four of Cups is a naysayer here. It doesn’t go through, or it isn’t what you want, or that isn’t what was said.

Two of Pentacles is a very flexible Tarot card that is often about cycles: off and on, up and down, sometimes and sometimes not, and it also means continuing, on and on, keeps being or doing. It also means silly and indecisive.

So Four of Cups and Two of Pentacles can converge into ‘sometimes and sometimes not’ and ‘isn’t continuing’ and ‘Don’t be indecisive.’

Both Star and Two of Pentacles refer to performances. Star is singing or speaking. Two of Pentacles is juggling and dancing. Together, they say ‘The show must go on.’

Much of what we interpret here today is Star and Two of Pentacles along the lines of ‘keep talking.’ They combine with Four of Cups to say ‘Don’t keep talking,’ as in ‘Don’t drone on.’

So what have we got to say, overall, here? It boils down to sometimes you get things going the way you want by talking, saying, explaining, presenting your case, and then again, sometimes you should shut up or not say anything in the first place. That sounds simplistic, but it is about timing, and timing is the turning point in our histories, isn’t it?

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Star We see a ceremonial ablution (bath) here. She pours one pitcher into the water and one onto the earth while she sings, or maybe talks (chants?). So Star’s main branches of meanings are about the performance and the talking or expressing. It also means joy, to enjoy, to love and say ‘I love you,’ to feel great, to have good health, and of course a bath. I think of Star as singing in the shower because that is its mood, you know?

Nine of Cups ‘Best card in the deck’ is his reputation: Your wish is granted is his main message. Negatively modified, it may – and only may – mean not getting what you want. Very powerful focused meaning, here. Being pleased and gratified or pleasing someone. Satisfaction. He can be excess, greed, wanting it all or gluttony – and he can mean being content and satisfied with what you do have. He is less influenced by other cards than usual, but, yes, other cards do modify his applications. The illustration shows a fat fellow with a abig grin on his face and nine empties behind him.

Four of Cups This illustration denotes ‘most all of his meanings. There he sits with arms and legs crossed, looking down, as yet another cup is offered by the hand in the sky. ‘Ain’t havin’ no part of that.’ To refuse, to not go through or get through, to say ‘No’ and mean it.

Two of Pentacles A fellow in a goofy costume with a dunce hat juggles pentacle plates while he dances around, an eternity sign connecting them, as ships are tossed up and down on crazy waves in the background.

The idea of motion is clear here: round and round, up and down, back and forth, spinning.

The idea of continuing is clear to. The either-or, which we express by rocking our hand from thumb to pinkie, is less obvious.

Two of Pentacles is a very flexible Tarot card that is often about cycles: off and on, up and down, sometimes and sometimes not, and it also means continuing, on and on, keeps being or doing. Less often, this Tarot citizen means silly and indecisive.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Our Daily Spread for October 5, 2011 Wednesday©

He loves you,  is crazy about you,  is coming back,  is pursuing you.  He calls you when he is passing through.  That’s it. Never have we had such a simple message.

… …….  …. … .…………………………

Knight of Swords

Two of Pentacles – King of Cups – Star

Is this the first time you come here?  Well …  what to do:

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say to you.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific, accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a  ‘real’  individual reading supplies at least half the information!

DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.   He is in Love and Tells All Affectionate man keeps coming back because he is crazy about you. Emotional man is in a hurry to confess his love over and over again. Whenever he is passing through,  he talks to you about his affections. He feels silly babbling on emotionally about how he is crazy about you –  again. The gentleman comes around to tell you he is back and he loves you. He is very calm as he says repeatedly that he is coming back to you. He is on an emotional roller-coaster running after the love of his life. He is very emotional as he keeps talking about how he will be back.   Serial Lovers Out with one sweet boyfriend and in with another,  they love the girl. One loving man after another confesses his love to her and leaves her. He is crazy about one woman after another in quick succession. Each of the women that he has loved is more beautiful than the last. He is very emotional as he keeps talking about how he is leaving. Such a good loving man but he talks one way and then another,  on and on.   Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little,  or a lot,  about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Observation of the Spread section below.  This tells about the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together to mean things.

*Go to Meanings and Illustrations:  Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards.  It is what each of the four cards,  by itself,  has to say.  It describes how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works.

Say hello back!  Comment! I spend two hours a day or more writing these to you.  Remember to share your experience about our experiment here if you have words for it.  Read others’ comments.

And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day. (3-6-9-12 like a clock.  It makes a pattern on the phone as well –  easy to remember.) I analyze business situations and personal relationships accurately from both Tarot and practical perspectives,  and even make it fun. (Testimonials are on the web site. https://emilysinsight.com.)

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD Two of our four mean  ‘to come back’  (but also mean back and forth) and two mean  ‘He loves you.’  What can I say?  It’s a very emphatic message.  Amazed to make that that many sentences out of it …  confess they are similar. Two of Pentacles and Knight of Swords both mean to return.  Two of Pentacles means  ’round and  ’round,  over and over.  Knight of Swords means to switch back and forth,  as well as to pursue.  It also connotes  ‘passing through town in a hurry’  sometimes. King of Cups is the warm fuzzy affectionate gentleman,  the man who feels,  who is emotional.  Star is to be crazy or enthusiastic about –  to confess those feelings of affection. So the Tarot message is very clear.   MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS Two of Pentacles shows the juggler with the balls going  ’round and  ’round incessantly,  shows ships tossed up and down on waves over and over.  Repetitive motion and maybe a roller-coaster effect. King of Cups is the emotional man,  the loving warm fuzzy dude a gal can be very comfortable with,  the gentleman.  He is shown with the water that means emotion surrounding his throne, and the ship in the distance is on calm water. His expression leads me to believe he drinks. Star enthusiastically confesses feelings – usually of love (and for sure of love here!). Star acts out, sings and performs. Star is crazy about you. Illustration is a singing-in-the-shower type thing.  Zippity-do-dah. Knight of Swords rushes and pursues.  He is passing through town in a hurry.  He is after you.  See him run.  His horse is in a lather,  his sword is brandished forward as he leans forward.  Here he comes. .
