The two Tarot cards that in Rider Waite mean relationship and mean deal are here. Those are Three of Pentacles and Temperance. Have you noticed that Rider Waite Verbatim Tarot ™ has this propensity to speak of relationships and deals with the same complexes of card citizens? So there’s no doubt we are speaking of relationships in cash and relationships in love.
Three of pentacles is an agreement – is a fair deal in which each or all parties perform their parts – is a meeting, often of three people – and is putting our heads together and coming to a settlement satisfactory to all. It is the pluperfect real estate closing card because that is what is depicted in its illustration.
Temperance is being close partners whether in love or business or both. It can be a couple but does not have to. This is trust – this is “one hand washes the other.” This is about equals and about closeness.
These two sit right next to “Your Wish is Granted” – the famous Nine of Cups. Nine of Cups is your dream come true, is having it all, is getting whatever you want most.

He means you get what you want, things go your way, you make money or someone does what you long for them to do. Temperance is about close relationship, is about a deal – usually a deal with a trusted person or partner. It is about communication. That is what it is doing here today. It has some rare meanings, not to worry today about them. The illustration shows an angel pouring liquid (wine) from one cup to another, standing in water.
