Our Daily Spread for October 30, 2011 Sunday ©

Advice is about women in the family,  with the emphasis on women who are related who get along in an extended family situation.  The family is emphatically a close,  good and happy one.  We have the wife and her mother or mother-in-law.  Children are part of the story.  Being his wife means a close relationship with his mama.  His wife deals with his ex-wife for them as a couple.

(At the time of production,  there’s no way to correct the lack of spaces after punctuation.  I am writing around it now!)

=========================================================================

Is this the first time you come here?  Well … what to do:

*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages.  (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below.  One or more of those sentences has something to say to you.  Intuitively pick those out.  They are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it.  (It  is a group message like a horoscope,  except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data,  so it can be specific,  accurate,  detailed and direct.  Our experiment here is ” How much more accurate is it?”)

Did you come here for your predictions? –  You are done now –  See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer,  four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards.  Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses,  feel very free to substitute.  The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS  Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

Marriage Perspective

He is really happy in this marriage,  this Wife is a strong woman and a partner.

She is his wife and the mother of his children,  still a partner as his Ex.

She is his intimate companion and keeps everyone in the family happy by accepting no less.

In a happy marriage,  you are close to your Wife even when she is being a bitch.

He balances a wife and family and a mother,  being close to everyone.

His Wife’s mother is close to their family.

Now that he has a strong woman as his life partner and Wife,  he is happy.

The Difficult Woman

The Ex,  the bitch,  is why he has a close relationship with his current Wife in a happy marriage.

So he married the bitch he was in a close relationship with and lived happily ever after with her as his Wife!

She expects the relationship they are in means she is going to be his Wife in a prosperous happy marriage.

She is expecting to jointly own the house as his Wife.

It is because she is demanding that she is a happily married woman in a close relationship.

The bitch wife feels their home is her house.

His wife deals with his ex-wife for them as a couple.

Two Women are Friends Together

Two women together (the manager and the older woman) occupy the home in the suburbs

The two women are close friends like family.

The two women’s families get along with one another happily.

The two women’s families get together enjoyably.

Mother and Daughter

She is happy to be home with her mother.

The older woman sacrifices to have her married daughter live with her.

A happily married woman has a close relationship with her mother.

Mother has a close relationship with her married daughter.

Mother-in-law

Being his wife means a close relationship with his mama.

She lives in a beautiful home with her spouse and his cranky mother.

This is a big close family even for mother and daughter-in-law.

This is a close loving family that the widow and the woman who married into it are part of.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Well,  we are talking about relationships with women,  for sure. Here are two women,  Queen of Wands who is the main Wife card and also associated with a house,  and Queen of Swords who is the demanding strong woman who expects,  who is the bitch and/or strong woman,  who is associated with being the Ex,  the mother-in-law or (possessive demanding) mother.  Mama Bat sometimes.  To engrave the theme indelibly,  the other two Rider Waite Tarot cards are Ten of Cups,  the marriage,  spouse or tribe and Temperance,  the close relationship,  partner,  or dealing with and balancing out a relationship or relationships.

You look at this and know it’s going to be Johnny-one-note today.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS:  INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Queen of Wands Wife,  Manager,  boss of the home-front,  woman who owns the house.  She is an assertive competent woman,  sometimes a nurse,  who is very practical and hands-on.  This is not the scholarly dame as a rule.  This is more Erma Bombeck than Gloria Steinham.  She sits on the edge of her throne with that alert look on her fact that you associate with mothers of young children,  her big stick in one hand and a sunflower in the other.

Ten of Cups is happily ever after,  family,  (good) neighborhood,  the good people (even the Moral Majority),  community,  everyone,  everyone getting along,  keeping everybody happy.  You see the suburban house on the golf course type thing,  the couple with one arm around one another and the other toward heaven,  two happy dancing children and even the rainbow … WHERE’S THE DOG?

Temperance The close relationship,  intimate partner,  balancing,  dealing with another person.  You see an angel mixing liquids by pouring from one cup to another,  a healing symbol on its chest,  feet in water,  irises and sunrise.  The meanings the card stands for do not match its picture,  and it’s the only card like that.  Go figure.

Queen of Swords Truthfully,  she shows up whenever there’s a bitch.  Her other meanings are demanding woman,  woman who expects (as in ‘Now would be good’ expects),  woman who isn’t getting what she longs for and deserves,  widow or mother of a dead child,  bitter woman,  angry woman.  Illustration shows a grumpy-looking woman with her hand extended in that ‘Now would be good’ gesture, her sword upright. The child on the throne indicates the dead child. (I read that.)

Advice today is about how the devil can live in utopia, how people can get together over any grievance, any nasty ugly thing and enjoy the success of managing it; and conversely how the perfect storybook family or community could be made up of petty hateful folks. The perfect wife and mother who makes everyone happy hates her life. To some, even a perfect marriage is a problem. The worst people have the money.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Remember the ‘spoiler card’ we used to talk about? Well, nirvana was going on here until I drew the last card … the pluperfect spoilsport, the Devil. Devil is an ambiguous card, meaning it has a lot of different meanings. Not all of them are terrible, or even bad. It can mean something is attached to a document, for example, or simply mean ‘physical’ or sex. But it can also mean just about anything nasty, awful, diseased or problematical. And here it is over this …

A spread that just at a glance means the perfect wife in a perfect marriage or a perfect house for the wife and family. Ace of Pentacles is perfect, the best, the right whatever.
Queen of Wands is the sensible woman, manager, wife and/or mother, who is competent at almost anything and who is in charge of her house. And Ten of Cups is happily ever after, the prosperous happy family, the house in a good neighborhood … except when the Devil shows up to modify it. Queen of Wands and Ten of Cups are about houses and/or homes.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Ace of Pentacles is right, best, perfect, the right course or path, money (as in money in hand), perfect, possesses, success or successful as well as things like ‘set straight,’ and ‘things are fine.’

The illustration that neatly brings these meanings together shows the proverbial straight and narrow path with proverbial white lilies in front and the garland gate of roses at the end of the path, with a hand with a lot of gold in it poised above.

Queen of Wands is the woman in charge, the manager, the wife and mother who has house rules, the competent woman, the solid citizen, a no-nonsense plainspoken woman who is connected, often, to a house and home. She has her own home-place. The picture shows exactly that: There she is with the flower in one hand and the board in the other, sitting upright with an alert look on her face.

Ten of Cups
is also about a house as well as a marriage: a good house and a happy marriage, to be precise. Ace of Pentacles makes it a perfect house. It is about a community or neighborhood, a group of people who get together, about ‘happy’ and ‘people’ and ‘the public.’

Its is another maudlin illustration: The couple embracing and with arms in air, with two kids, rainbow over their golf-community estate … but no dog! Where’s the dog? They must not be Americans! I guess not, there’s no flag either …

Devil’s spectrum is wide. Here are the words and phrases it has made here today:
problems
rude
disagreeable
sex
grievance, biggest
eyesore
difficult
guilty
wrong
hates being
disability
nasty to
dysfunctional or perverted
bad
mistake
worst people.
