Tarot Verbatim
Guidance Our face is in the back of our mind if we are like most people. As normals in the human herd, we vest part of our self-confidence and part of our self-respect in how successful we look financially and socially. We know we are rewarded financially and assessed socially based on the image of success we project, no matter what our level of spiritual sophistication is, no matter how brilliant we are. Since it’s the sizzle, not the steak, that is to be rewarded, it behooves us to define and redefine our doings and our trappings as success, in the same way public companies rename columns of figures to be attractive to investors. You can profit from a down market in personal life as well. Success isn’t diagnosed in its early stages, so you will know before the world does that you have made it anyway. Act that way. Sizzle!

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

.
………………….………… To the left is devastating disaster; to the right is spectacular success; and in the middle is a long hard think, contemplating. No action cards but still we have stories. The theme is obviously perspectives (Page of Pentacles) regarding success and failure.
………………………….. Ten of Swords is that terrible moment when you are betrayed, ruined, or victimized. It is the lowest low point – devastation, disaster, all is lost, bankruptcy, even being murdered, assaulted or wounded. It can translate as ‘the traitor,’ identifying a culprit. Keep in mind that the disaster need not involve actual damage (although it certainly can); Ten of Swords describes despair even from being dumped by a cute fellow if that is what brings on actual despair. Ten of Swords can also be mere humiliation, pain and suffering, or a dramatic wallow in self-pity.
………………………….. Page of Pentacles is perspective, a view, to think, opinion, to know, looking at, pondering, having a good image, good looks, and pronouns like: you, him, her. Page of Pentacles is one of the ‘identity’ cards like Page of Wands. It can translate ‘definition’ as in ‘his definition of __ is.’ It is about your role, about playing the part, having the look for what you are doing. It can suggest being appropriately dressed. It can also be a cute young fellow, as Page of Wands is.
………………………….. Ace of Pentacles depicts the esoteric concept of ‘The Right-hand Path,’ so it’s ‘the right road,’ ‘the right path,’ ‘the right way’ in any context. It is success, money, reward, possession. It means ‘yes’ and ‘correct’ too. Ace of Pentacles equates having money with being on the right course: Lilies begin the road, and a rose arbor of victory ends it, and the hand with the gold is above it. It also means a winner and winning itself.
Rarely do you have a spread that has one subject, as this one does. We have several perspectives, angles, on success and failure, but we stay on that path. These three cards are focused.

Ten of Swords ……… The bleeding body with ten swords in its back, under a black sky. The meanings of suffering, betrayal, low point, disaster, devastation, painful experience, failure, and loss, losing and loser are apparent. The drama and the emotion of the picture expand those meanings to just feeling humiliated, ruined, or devastated. Ten of Swords shadows Nine of Swords in spreads – one of the fascinating instances of Tarot’s violations of the Laws of Random Distribution. Ten of Swords describes bankruptcy sometimes, and once in a while shows up for acupuncture or piercings if you watch for it. You can also find it describing the martyred drama queen type person.
.
Page of Pentacles …………. This card is very similar in its meanings and in its illustration to Page of Wands. Both show young men who fit in and are likable. Both are about identity, being young and good-looking, being dressed appropriately, and identity itself. Page of Wands is about talking, and Page of Pentacles is about thinking. Page of Pentacles is perspective, opinion, view. It translates: he thinks, he sees, he understands, he knows, and he is. Also, ‘his definition is.’ Look for it to mean: himself and his, myself and my, herself and her, as well as you and him. Page of Pentacles often means looking at, pondering, contemplating, studying – as Knight of Pentacles does. Page does not go as far as Knight in this spectrum: Knight can be single-minded, obsessed. Page of Pentacles is dressing the part, having the appropriate affect (personality and manner and appearance) for the role.
.
Ace of Pentacles ………. resonates success, money, and being right. Its illustration equates these things and the possession of them. The hand with the gold is suspended over the gold path that begins with purity, lilies, and ends in victory, an arbor of roses – so it also equates being right (good guy) with being a winner. It translates ‘win’ as well. If it appears as the first card in the Celtic Cross layout, the Self card, it means ‘yes.’ It will translate ‘correct’ fairly often too.

Guidance We are so used to the culture and the circumstances that formed who we are right now that we often don’t see the obvious. This day’s messages present different scenarios along this line. How one goofball can get rich with one idea. How on earth did you miss where your money was going? How you become some standard-issue idea of success and feel like a clown. Things like that.

GROUP ANALYTICAL TAROT CARDS READING Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. Headings [So you can choose what fits you.] Tarot Readings: Success and Failure (Ten of Swords + Ace of Pentacles) Tarot Readings: Money (Ace of Pentacles) Tarot Readings: Right (Ace of Pentacles) Tarot Readings: Feeling Bad, Down, Pain and Suffering (Ten of Swords) Tarot Readings: Road ( Ace of Pentacles) Miscellaneous Tarot Readings Tarot Readings: Success and Failure (Ten of Swords + Ace of Pentacles) Realizing … damn … would I have got all this if I had not dismally failed at all that? The ideas I get out of failures seem to bring me my successes. What works makes no sense; what makes sense doesn’t work. I clearly see the road to success, so why am I failing at it? An inspired madman successfully wrecks things. An inspiration to see the funny side whether you’re in good times or bad times. Don’t you just hate it when you see you are a success and you feel like a clown? You know how it’s suffering souls who are a success as comedians. Perception being skewed can lead to failure or success. One idea is a loser, and one idea is a winner. It looks like we hit bottom. Are things really going to be all right? Visualizing your doom, can you still succeed? I realize that whenever I suppose I failed, I have passed. Tarot Readings: Money (Ace of Pentacles) Yeah, I know it’s a dumb idea, and we could lose; but if we win, we win a lot of money. As stupid an idea as it seems, going bankrupt is the way for you to have money. Intensely curious about making money off disasters. A goofball gets one idea and makes a lot of money … and I fail …. You know about a fool and his money coming to a bad end. Like an idiot I paid them, knowing they wrecked it. So how come psychics fail to be rich? The ideas I get out of failures seem to bring me my successes. You feel intensely you’re an idiot when you pay them money to lose money. How come I didn’t know I was losing all that money? A crushing realization: Where’s my money? It’s a crushing realization that idiots have all the money. So how can I make money off a crash? I know! As stupid an idea as it seems, going bankrupt is the way for you to have money. Mental suffering will get you an outlandish amount of money. Do you feel the money is worth the agony? Tarot Readings: Right (Ace of Pentacles) It takes a trauma to get a fool like me on the right path: I see that. My visions are correct, and where’s this doomsday? The right thing to do about this goofball is: realize he wrecks things. I question whether my insight is right or wrong. The weird idea that if you are persecuted, you must be right. I’m so right when I remember how foolish I was, and it hurts. Am I really doing it right? I feel like I have screwed up. He thinks he’s right when he knows he wrecked. The weird idea that if you are persecuted, you must be right. Is my memory of falling down right? I doubt I’m right, I think I messed up One idea is a loser, the other is the right one. Tarot Readings: Feeling Bad, Down, Pain and Suffering (Ten of Swords) You know how it’s suffering souls who are a success as comedians. You feel intense pain; is that right? I sense you are really down; are you okay? When you feel strongly that you are suffering for a good cause, you are a dummy. What’s so good about it if it makes you feel all that bad? Tarot Readings: Road (Ace of Pentacles) Ask what road the wreck is on, so you know. This is an unfamiliar road, and I sense hazards. I think this road may be damaged. Miscellaneous Tarot Readings The best use of a slip-up is to see the humor in it. Pain seems to be the price of enlightenment. Seems the idea of a wedding ring is shot down.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING Success. (Ace of Pentacles) Failure. (Ten of Swords) Question. (Page of Cups) Realize. (Hanged Man.) Of these elements, is our story today. Don’t we realize how strange it is to have ‘a vivid realization’ and ‘doubt and question’ juxtaposed between total degrading wipeout failure and soaring success? This is what real life stories are made of. Have a feelin’ we could all fit these four together into our life stories in more than one place. . LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES Ten of Pentacles Lying under a black sky face down on the bloody ground with ten swords in your back: This is failure. This is pain and suffering. This is feeling very bad, or is a suffering soul. Sometimes it is one of those dramatic martyred people we know, too. Ace of Pentacles equates the straight life, being on the right path, with success and money. The hand with the gold in it over the ‘straight and narrow path’ (which most religions mention) is the Rider Waite illustration. In Tarot Verbatim, in means ‘yes,’ especially in the first-card Self position. Page of Cups A fellow dressed in women’s clothes, carrying a fish in a cup. Waves are behind him, for instability. Yes, this means ‘Huh?’ and weird and instructs the reader, often, to put the sentence into a question. Hanged Man Your subconscious every once in a while kicks a whole idea onto the middle of the floor of your conscious, unceremoniously. You have that upside-down queasy hair-on-fire sensation as you realize – and that is Hanged Man’s keyword – something. Subconscious has noticed parallels and patterns, and has connected the dots and sent your brain a telegraph. I N S T R U C T I O N S and Explanations (Comments are below this.) Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading. Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that . Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ’all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.) Horoscopes are group readings too. Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.) Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please? Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards. Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety. Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so, *Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. =========================================================================
Is this the first time you come here? Well …
HOW TO USE THE MATERIAL WE HAVE FOR YOU HERE. Read the sentences, the TAROT ANALYSIS, and pick out the ones that seem to apply to you, to the people around you. They are a Tarot analysis of your day’s circumstances. As the day (or several days) unfolds, you may find the information is relevant. Some of this information refers to a longer time period. The question is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.” Often, your adopting the attitude you feel in the blog works for your day! Some days are ‘keep an eye open’ and some are ‘green lights.’
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean even contradictory things. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are less specific, more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. Especially when a pronoun is in parentheses, feel free to substitute.
The Advice section sums up a general meaning of all the sentences. It is the favorite of most of us.
Remember to share your experience with a comment here if you have words for it … I spend two or more hours a day writing to you, after all! Say hello back!
Photos of the animals that the people who call me support are in with the articles I wrote for you. Enjoy them too! Stefanie is the one who has posted the few we have here. She did not do much with a hundred or more I sent her. Later!
And you can call me at the 800 99 3 6 9 12 number from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day. I analyze business situations accurately too. (Testimonials are on the web site.)

Ten of Swords
Wheel of Fortune, Seven of Wands, Ace of Pentacles
Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread
Two of our four are the pinnacle of money and success, one is abject failure, and one is a struggle. So you know the story already, don’t you?
Wheel of Fortune is win-the-lottery time. Ace of Pentacles is money in your hands, success and the right path or right whatever.
Seven of Wands is struggling against the odds. And ‘odds’ brings out the gambling side of Wheel of Fortune, which even looks like a roulette wheel.
And again speaking of odds, Ace of Pentacles is winning it all, and Ten of Swords is losing it all.
Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards
Wheel of Fortune is the lucky win, the lottery jackpot, the big reward (and so is Ace of Pentacles). It is things happening for the best; it is the miracle. It is making the best happen. Its illustration is chock full of occult symbols having to do with destiny, which is obvious even though we don’t know what the symbols are.
Seven of Wands shows a fellow with mismatched shoes and a nightshirt defending his land against neighbors. He is outnumbered but pushing them away. He is winning against the odds.
Ace of Pentacles is money in hand, success, winning, the prize, the best, the right, rewarded. The illustration in Rider Waite shows ‘the straight and narrow’ path leading to a festive flowery gateway, with a hand with an oversized gold coin in it over the ‘right path.’ Corny, huh? It gets the point across.
Ten of Pentacles also gets the point across. A fellow sprawled on the ground with ten swords in his back is, indeed, down and is, indeed, the loser – is humiliated, too.
Advice in the light of our Question (re strategy for success in these times) is to hold out for the best, is to be inspired by the challenge of the struggle against the worst, because that is the way to win: to get your blood moving. We have (1) the contrast between winning all and losing all, (2) the struggle, and (3) the destiny to win; so, people win who pit themselves against the most chance of losing.
TAROT ANALYSIS
Things happen for the best when you face the worst.
A terrible loss challenges you to get on your feet to make the best possible result happen.
You are forced to risk losing it all, to win it all.
He lost so much money, he had to push for a miracle.
When you are down, get up and fight; get your hands on that prize.
Fighting for what is right, you win even when you lose.
When you are facing a humiliating loss, a long shot pays off.
When you succeed in adverse conditions, your struggle is rewarded.
An opportunity is given you to survive the disaster.
You can lose money if you vigorously hold out for that highest point.
Struggling to be on the right path even when you fall is rewarded.
His luck holds out, he wins the money he lost. [or she]
Destiny makes you win where the loss would be overwhelming.
People win who face the worst chances of losing.
