Tarot Verbatim
It’s Wednesday again, when we share someone’s donated email reading to demonstrate to you exactly how Tarot talks in sentences, which is something, as far as I know, that only Tarot Verbatim™ does. (You can learn this.)
.
Today’s generous donor also shares our lively correspondence. The Tarot reading here is from the perspective of her love interest, and this presentation is a great example of how one person’s perspective in a relationship can be so self-centered that the other person isn’t in the same relationship at all: two different worlds.
.
An email reading just like this one can be yours inexpensively. The Email Reading navigation tab up there explains it all.
.
We have had another ugly obstacle with the main business phone number, which is now changed to 208 993 1897. (Another long story.) Now would be a lovely time for you to call for a telephone reading, since fewer people are calling as a result of this problem.
.
NEWS: The Tarot Email Training is beginning now the suit of Cups, having finished Major Arcanae. This Friday will present Two of Cups, one of the complex cards. The green ‘Get Them Now’ bar introduces you to this program which gradually trains your subconscious and your conscious awareness to work together as one.
.
Guess what? – we are getting closer to putting the Tarot Email Training lessons for sale individually at $20 for the pair. Of course, that’s just for the ones I have written already: These are detailed, complex reports that you can scan, or you can study intensely, or you can use them for reference material in your readings.
.
And SHORTCUT is also getting closer. Technical pitfalls abound here due to the company that used to maintain the site. We have to find a safe way to present the material to you. (Long story.) And Diana and team have shoulder-to-wheel to move this forward.
.
Thank you for coming here and being part of making Tarot verbatim.
Emily

[This sounds like the perspective of a player to me – a player who at least is thinking about changing.]

Emily to client:
The description of his attitude is so clear here, in its nuances and detail. Would you like to see this on a Wednesday? Let me know if so.
Emily
Client Responds:
Yes I wouldn’t mind
Maybe others can be educated and benefit from my experience.
He is getting old and isn’t exactly player material from the physical perspective.
I am not responding to his advances since he’s continuing to spend swimming time with the ****** *** ***. I informed him on Saturday that I have removed the sign on my forehead that read “I am a godless whore”.
He says he doesn’t know what I am talking about.
No matter, he comes clawing back for sex, and I with weak boundaries, cave in to his romanticism. And it’s not even an effort on his part.
Pitiful! I must grow a pair!
Ugh
To my one and only credit, I have not responded to his last text to me two days ago
You mean your cards are truth, yes?
Emily to Client:
Pretty much, although ya can’t be totally right all the time.
Client to Emily:
Clarify nine of cups, three of swords, set pleas
Emily to Client:
That pair doesn’t appear here, but means:
wants to break up/wants you to break up
wants to break your heart/wants you to break his heart
wants to be hurt/wants to hurt you
heartache is good for (whoever)
Client to Emily:
Ewwww
Emily to Client:
What a great conversation! Here it is copied. What if any parts would you like to leave out of the post that is published on the Tarot Verbatim™ site?
Client to Emily:
Take out the sentence about swimming with the ****** *** ***. Everything else…

Guidance Family strife is our subject, no way around it. The divorce or blowup, the militant woman’s demands. The same situation at work where a walkout or strike – or at least quitting or getting fired – is afoot. Repairing a damaged house is a parallel situation to these – come to think of it! – and Tarot has. She keeps working in this combative environment. A whole family whines about one thing after another until you want to explode. Employees at this company complain about tirades.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!
People love this place! Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need. ‘Guidance’ (above) is a summary of what the cards are telling visitors to be aware of this day.
‘Group Tarot Cards Reading’ (just below this) is the actual word-for-word messages from the pictures of the four cards you see – to everyone. These readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow. The family of commenters here would love for you to join in (the very last thing, at the bottom).

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Four of Wands
Tower – Queen of Swords – Eight of Pentacles

.
Tower and Four of WandsThese two are a divorce in a marriage: Tower is divorce, rejection, splitting, eviction from a home, being fired or quitting, as well as hitting, a tirade, a temper tantrum, to blow up or erupt. Four of Wands is marriage, family, the couple, and then it goes from neighborhood to nation and on from there. Four of Wands is a company, too. So we are about a divorce of a marriage or a split from a company.
Queen of Swords and Four of Wands Queen of Swords fits in here: the disgruntled, dissatisfied angry woman, the nag, the complainer, or the victim, the militant woman … or the whiner. This is the ex, also can be the bitch. She is not getting what she deserves (or thinks she deserves) and she has high standards that someone is not meeting. So these two cards say: ex-spouse, victim in her marriage, mad at the company, picking on her roommate. Mama-bat is the abrasive matriarch (the nasty female clan leader). These two Tarot cards also say ‘the whole family whines.’
Our remaining Rider Waite Tarot card has several meanings, all of which blend well with its neighbors. It means work, job, construction work, one after another, keep doing or being. Watch how it makes phrases with its mates:
Eight of Pentacles and Four of Wands is working for the company, working at home, people you work with, something that keeps happening at home. It’s also construction work or working on a house.
Tower and Eight of Pentacles is employees being fired, walking out, quitting, confronting, striking, erupting in tirades themselves or being subjected to tantrums at work. These two cards even say ‘one disaster after another.’
Queen of Swords and Eight of Pentacles get together to mean disgruntled employees, employees demands, being nagged about work. ‘She is doing without because of his job,’ these also say.

Tower shows lightning blowing down a building and people falling out of it. The crown at the top of the building suggests an overthrow of power. It illustrates the Tower of Babel story, and so means ‘overthrow of evil, and, yes, it is the next card after Devil. It means divorce, rejection, strike, hitting or destroying, explosion, erupting or blowing up in a temper tantrum, combative, outbursts, confrontation, beating.
Queen of Swords is the victim, the bitch, the complaining, nagging, whining militant wench, Mama-bat. She is also the woman who does without, who is sacrificing (an earlier stage?) – and the woman of strong character or strong assertive woman. An older woman with her hand outstretched, palm partly turned upward in that gesture of imperious but importune demand we have all seen … and done.
Eight of Pentacles always doing this over and over. Same routine. Work. Job and job site. Employee. Keep at it, keep trucking. The carpenter is at his work bench intently making one identical object after the other.
Four of Wands is home and marriage, neighborhood and family, the community of upstanding (usually sensible) people. Pictured is a society wedding which invokes the public aspect of marriage, since it is uniting leading families. Four of Wands is any organization or business too.

Advice Sometimes we are all together in the wrong place at the wrong time, and we should not prolong the mutual angst. Some people are toxic (at least in the situation at hand) and they have the gift of arranging the people around them in the worst possible chronic gridlock. Busting out is the plan. You will at least not be part of the hurtful organization yourself.

Two of Wands
Tower – Queen of Swords – Ten of Pentacles
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
Uh-oh, there’s no hope of much pretty coming from these Tarot fellows gathering here! Three out of four refer to major family trouble, or to other confrontational unpleasantness. The remaining card doesn’t negate any of it; it simply means the future, ownership of real estate, global, assets, and a plan.
Tower is a confrontation, blow-up, divorce, rejection. Queen of Swords feels she isn’t getting what she is entitled to and is angry. She may be justified by the facts or not. She is the critical nag, the whining demanding (old) wench. Or bitch, or ex-wife, or mother-in-law or mama-bat. She also feels someone (her fellow, often) isn’t living up to her standards – which, again, may be justified. She may be a victim. Ten of Pentacles are the dysfunctional crew, clan, family, in-laws, organization or company or agency. They are quarrelsome, are in trouble or are trouble. They are those people.
See? No peace here. The only positive is the secure future of Two of Wands can mean that having been through this, a person is stable and has a good outlook, a good future. Nothing like a hellish home life to make one crave peace, eh?

Tower This illustrates the destruction of the Tower of Babel in the histories of the countries we associate with Bible times. It’s one of those cards you don’t have to be told the meanings of: destruction, being thrown out, rejection, explosions and explosive (as in temper or confrontation). |
|
Queen of Swords She never fails to come up for the kind of personality we have all endured: the martyred nagging whining complaining demanding female we call the old bat, our ex, the *itch, who usually acts righteous. Nurse Ratchett. Leona Helmsley (of “The poor pay taxes.”) She is the widow and can be a woman who has lost a child too. |
|
Ten of Pentacles Dysfunction, corruption, conspiracy and crime, not to mention low class troublemakers and wealthy political organizations and families that cause us grief. Oh yeah, politicians too. Pictured is a patriarchal family’s showdown. Grandpa gloating on his throne with dogs paying him homage as son gazes in the distance and does not even face or look at his wife who is trying to tell him something while their child pulls at her clothes, squalling. The family quarrel … except today it goes beyond that due to the other cards. |
|
Two of Wands The financier atop his castle contemplates his real estate empire making plans for more profit. He has the world in his hands. (Pamela Coleman Smith’s joke?) This card means profit, plan, the future, security, financial planning, business, outlook. |

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Oh dear. Right off the bat there’s Tower (divorce) and Four of Wands (marriage). Smack in the middle is the dissatisfied militant woman who is not getting what she deserves (or thinks she does) a/k/a ‘the bitch.’ She can also be the victim. And other other card means ‘this keeps happening.’ That hits you in the face if you have even a little Tarot Verbatim™ Rider Waite experience.
Eight of Pentacles + Four of Wands is ‘work for the company.’ It’s also construction work or working on a house. Tower + Eight of Pentacles is employees being fired, walking out, quitting, confronting, striking or … throwing things, destroying things, or having things thrown at them.
Queen of Swords is the dissatisfied demanding person, so Queen of Swords + Eight of Pentacles is employees’ demands. It could be her constant nagging and complaining, too.
So we mostly have combat or reconstruction!

Advice is describing a woman we have all met, often as mama: The complaining, whining nag; the woman who has a tantrum and persists at that until she is given whatever it is she is demanding. She is associated with divorce here, whether she is demanding it, or whether she is being divorced for being who she is. That’s it.

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. (Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
This is similar to the other brief divorce-themed spread on the 2nd that led me to put two on that day. Since there are few comments on weekends lately, this one will suffice. I believe this theme belongs to someone, maybe someone who regularly chooses not to comment.
You can’t miss one of the divorce (Tower) cards – the one that means a temper tantrum – appearing along with the complaining, nagging, whining woman, Queen of Swords.
Then the other two cards are keep it up, Two of Pentacles, and getting what you want, Nine of Cups.
As you can see, not a lot of stories are going to grow out of the scenario these four Tarot individuals describe.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Two of Pentacles is the either/or fella, is to persist over and over, to continue, to be unstable. We see a juggler with ships tossed up and down on waves behind him as he has the symbol of ‘repeat indefinitely’ connecting the items he is juggling.
Queen of Swords is, in Tarot Verbatim ™ Rider Waite, the complaining, nagging, whining, dissatisfied woman. She does not have what she deserves and is bitter and often vocal. The drawing is true to this concept. Love that hand outstretched ‘Now would be GOOD.’
Nine of Cups is such a lovely card usually, but it is no match for what is going on here; it gets drawn into the scenario. It means your wish is granted – the person who asked the question’s wish is granted. That is called the Querant, a word you will find nowhere else but Tarot material. He ate and drank and is full: end of story for this card. But see how it is used here.
Tower is a blowup, a destruction, a grand mal temper fit, being thrown out of the house, divorce. Pictured is the Tower of Babel, people on fire falling out of windows.
