Tarot Readings for You for December 18, 2014 Thursday©

GUIDANCE       Overnight success is usually the product of persistent unrewarded labor. The pattern is that without cash and connections, sweat equity at least sometimes creates breakthrough success. There is such a thing as the magic moment. The magic moment introduces itself with a premonition: you feel the breeze from the flutter of angel wings, you might say. (It’s true that if what you are creating is a product, rather than a career path, well, then that product has to be useful to *an audience or market* for success to massively swoop in.) We feature the breeze from the angel wings here today. We say (1) either the work is already done and the payoff is at hand or (2) keep at what you are doing because you are following a recipe for the miracle to happen.

Tarot Readings: Miracle Worker (Wheel of Fortune and Eight of Pentacles)

One miracle after another, and you got yourself a victory.

The very best things ever keep happening.

I was forced to do things, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

One event after another makes this the best time of your life.

You have one chance after another to excel.

What you are doing – keep at it and something great happens for sure.

Work is where your chance to be a winner is.

Lucky you, you get that job for sure.

One opportunity comes after another, for sure.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Work You Have to Do (Eight of Pentacles and Ace of Swords)

My work is my destiny; I have to do it.

It’s got to be, so keep at it until it happens.

You gotta keep at it to make a miracle happen.

You have to work so make the very best of it.

I’m working on it, I got to make it happen.

……….…………

Tarot Readings: Making the Best Happen (Wheel of Fortune and Ace of Swords)

It takes an ultimatum, and then it happens like clockwork.

You got a chance to get something done once and for all.

Your orders at work are what you do best.

Make him do the work: That’s the best way.

It’s wonderful how I can force myself to persist at the same thing.

The threat or challenge at work has a silver lining.

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONS is a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

……………….………..………..

Wheel of Fortune – Eight of Pentacles – Ace of Swords

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….…………………… Wheel of Fortune and Ace of Swords are both penultimate achievement: Victory! They say it has to happen … that miracle. Eight of Pentacles says ‘keeping at it’ and ‘working.’ So what you are doing has to produce the very best result, the miracle. Keep at it to make it happen for the best. Today we can taste, smell and feel the potential miracle in the air. So up with your head – don’t miss this opening in the sky.

………………………..    Wheel of Fortune is a hieroglyph that spells out the idea of spiritual forces affecting coincidence in the physical realm. In the center, the four letters that mean Yahweh, the Hebrew word for God, are interleaved with four letters that can be read ‘Taro’ for Tarot, and can also refer to various esoteric systems or myths, Rota meaning Wheel, or Wheel of Fortune and having to do with Apollo, for one. On the wheel is a red lizard I understand to be a bad spirit, and a blue sphinx who also may be. Around the wheel are various magic spirits, some of them looking like good guys, who have books. This gist of all this is that nonphysical creatures affect coincidences, therefore affect happenings, in the ‘real world.’ In application, Wheel of Fortune is luck (usually good), karma, destiny, the windfall, hitting the jackpot, a miracle, wonderful, the happening or ‘It happens,’ and of course gambling, since Wheel of Fortune’s illustration is designed around a roulette wheel.

……………………….. Eight of Pentacles shows a workman at his bench making one after another object. He is persistent at this task, and is skilled. Eight of Pentacles is about the doing of anything: hands-on, making something. It means anything to do with work, labor (including as an expense or in politics) or job – including having a job. It means ‘one after another’ or anything similar to that.

………………………..    Ace of Swords   speaksfor itself. You know (most people) that the laurel crown was a Roman thing that meant penultimate achievement and was usually worn at a massive public celebration of oneself. Here, it is draped over a crown that is atop an upright double-edged sword. So what else could Ace of Swords mean but total victory, winning, high achievement, assertion or aggression, and ‘all one way,’ because a total victory in battle is a total defeat of the opponent. Ace of Swords means force, of course, so it translates ‘make him’ (or any other pronoun, singular or plural) or ‘made him.’ It often translates ‘have to’ or ‘had to’ as well.

Ace of Swords is a simple card, no mystery to it. It is therefore an ‘anchor’ card, which means: Since it has few meanings and they are clear, you look at it before you look at the ambiguous ones, to get your theme. This saves times and favors accuracy.

………..………….     Wheel of Fortune and Eight of Pentacles   Wheel of Fortune and Eight of Pentacles describe making wonderful things, miracles, happen. Eight of Pentacles is doing, working, making something physically, consistent and persistent effort, and anything to do with job or employment or labor. Wheel of Fortune is happening for the best, wonderful, miracle, optimum result. So one miracle after another; the very best things happen. (It’s also destiny, karma and coincidence, but that’s not at the forefront right now.) Eight of Pentacles means ‘keep happening’ and ‘doing one after another,’ so the very best things keep happening, and while you’re doing it something great happens. Then also, Wheel of Fortune is your opportunity, your chance, so you get one chance after another, one opportunity after another. And Eight of Pentacles is a job, so, lucky you, you get that job. Always remember these two cards are advice to ‘Keep at it until it happens.’

……………………     Eight of Pentacles and Ace of Swords   Eight of Pentacles and Ace of Swords combine steady effort with victory. You are a winner at work – Wheel of Fortune is the winner and Eight of Pentacles is the workplace. They also talk about being forced to do things, or forced to work. Work you have to do, as well as ‘ You have work to do.’ Ace of Swords is force of course. This is the pair that says you get that job for sure, because Ace of Swords is a sure thing – guaranteed and absolute are two of its words. Ace of Sword is ‘orders,’ so you get orders at work. You can force yourself (Ace of Swords) to keep at it or to persist (Eight of Pentacles). There’s also a challenge, or even a threat, (Ace of Swords) at work.

We have the lucky break, and we have hard work or persistent effort – together. The lucky break truly is a matter of timing and coincidence. When these two ingredients are both present in the equation, we remind ourselves, miracles, wonderful things, are likely to happen. Be alert to this fact, look for its early signs, and you position yourself right where the spotlight will be when the stage curtain opens.

Wheel of Fortune ……... Wheel of Fortune’s title tells you it’s about luck and chance, and it suggests gambling, bolstered by the roulette wheel looking thing there. There’s a little more to it, though, and that’s the theme that spiritual influences affect our physical reality. The Hebrew word for God is in the center of the wheel, which suggests God’s will of course, and it’s interspersed with four letters that mean wheel (rota) and also mean wheel of fortune in various ancient systems, including Apollo. The creatures on and around the wheel represent various spirit beings from lore and literature, and I think they are both good ones and bad ones – it doesn’t really matter. So Wheel of Fortune is about luck, destiny, karma, making things happen by using nonphysical means. It’s about gambling; it’s about winning at lottery or gambling. It’s about a windfall, hitting the jackpot in any way, miracle (including miracle cures). It means ‘wonderful’ and is about wonderful things, or the best things, happening. As a matter of fact, ‘happens’ and ‘happening’ are its most frequent translates. ‘Optimum’ is a good word for Wheel of Fortune.

.

Eight of Pentacles…………. Eight of Pentacles is an easy card to learn. You see the fellow slaving away manfully hammering out those identical pentacles. Work. You got it. Anything to do with work, job, labor, work site, employment … anything. Eight of Pentacles is also about ‘keeping it up,’ about persistence and being consistent. It often translates ‘doing,’ such as ‘what you are doing.’ If you are looking for a job, you want Eight of Pentacles to show up, because it says you have a job.

.

Ace of Swords …………. Ace of Swords is also an easy card to learn. You know it means victory when you see the crown crowned with laurel leaves, crowing a raised sword. What else would that mean? Of course it means to assert, force and aggression. Simple words like ‘have to,’ gotta, must, and make belong to Ace of Swords quite often. Achievement: a victory is an achievement, and that word comes up for Ace of Swords. It means ‘to oppose’ or to be against. It means total defeat since action goes both ways in Tarot. Ace of Swords actually means ‘all one way’ too because there is no gray zone to total victory, is there?

Wheel of Fortune

Eight of Pentacles, Six of Cups, Sun

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

The first thing that strikes me here is both cards that feature children are side by side: kid alert! Six of Pentacles is childhood, sweet kids, sweet memories, cozy home and cozy home life, and romance, as well as a cozy or quaint house. Sun is the child (boy, most likely) who ducks out of the house and its rules to have some fun in the sun … never mind the wicked pony is going to toss the tyke.

Then Eight of Pentacles and Wheel of Fortune bespeak a grand opportunity at work. Eight of Pentacles is the worker at his bench, hammering out one gizmo after the other. Wheel of Fortune is the lucky break, the grand opportunity, the windfall.

As you can see, the major meanings do not enmesh very well. The lesser meanings mostly take over here. These are some Tarot Verbatim (TM) phrases for the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that appear here:

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Eight of Pentacles A carpenter makes one identical gizmo after another steadily working at his bench. Worker, workplace, labor, working consistently, keep doing, one after another, doing it, being the one to do it, or to do the work.
Six of Cups Little Boy gives Little Girl flowers in front of quaint old buildings. Love, coziness, cozy home, romance, trust, children or child, childhood, being a little boy or girl, gift, sweet memories or nostalgia.
Sun Little brat sneaks out from under whoever is watching him in the home, to recklessly endanger himself naked and bareback on the wicked pony. He is having a fun time – is lighthearted and free of restrictions.

Wheel of Fortune What looks like a roulette wheel and has various occult icons representing ‘out there’ influences such as the Herbrew name of God is this Rider Waite cards’s illustration. Coincidence, luck, chances or ‘a chance to,’ destiny, karma, random distribution, optimum or the best ever or the best possible, lucky or luck, something wonderful happens. Wonderful: that is a very common phrase for Wheel of Fortune.

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions? – If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on the four cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you.  They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can address ‘all the people at work who have a say in my raise,’ for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things,  especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a question also the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible,  especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads.  When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute.  Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing. This tells the thinking regarding the combined four pictures in the Daily Spread –  the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the message.

*Go to Learn Tarot by the Pictures.  This is the meaning of each separate card.  This is how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in this Spread.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

P. S. Call Emily for your personal live reading at 800 99 3 6 9 12 (from Eastern 1 p. m. to Eastern 1 a. m. at least, every day). Emily analyzes relationships in business situations and personal situations accurately from *Tarot, *intuitive, and *practical perspectives. Tarot Reading for Winter Solstice

Tarot Spread for Winter Solstice

Eight of Penticles

Wheel of Fortune, Seven of Wands, King of Swords

At work, it pays off to hold your ground, to stand up and be assertive with a man who has authority. He keeps pushing – stands up like a man – and it happens for the best. The man keeps pushing you away, but it’s going to happen in a wonderful way. The manly man has one lucky event after another when he exerts himself. He pushes himself on the job and it really pays off big. This is the job that is your big break – give it everything you’ve got – with the interview.
