Wheel of Fortune – Although Wheel of Fortune has its deeper level, its esoteric applications, in real Tarot life, it mostly serves as a good luck card, as Nine of Cups does – so much so that when you see those two paired, uh, your exact wish is granted upon a silver platter.

Today Wheel of Fortune uses its most common and most real-world words and phrases. These are: luck; ‘hitting the jackpot’ phrases like ‘make it,’ wealth, money, profit, a fortune; wonderful; big chance, and opportunity; happen (all forms of that word); chance, (in the sense of ‘the odds’); best; miracle. Which is odd, because one would think Seven of Cups’ influence would get Wheel of Fortune to use some esoteric language.
Nine of Pentacles – Nine of Pentacles has the life: There she is in the comfort of her own turf, a well-appointed vineyard, exercising her falcon at midday dressed casually, the snail at her feet indicating she does things in whatever time she pleases. Nine of Pentacles is content in her comfortable life.

Nine of Pentacles is about being the entrepreneur, about having the life that makes you content, about being competent or even expert in some niche. She can be a businesswoman, and she is very definitely private. She minds her own business and she has a business to mind.

Nine of Pentacles is a homebody or home-based business. She is no-nonsense and sensible. Is unavailable like quite a few of the female cards in Rider Waite. She is the single-woman version of Queen of Pentacles. Although she can be the wealthy self-made dame, Nine of Pentacles isn’t necessarily well off: She can be queen of the ghetto, or a homebody bookworm who loves to cook.
Seven of Cups – He bit off more than he could chew, invading the boss’ operations like that, calling the spirits by all the wrong names and now they outnumber him and are swarming all over. Yes, things are thoroughly out of control, as in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. And out of control is the main concept for Seven of Cups. Today it brings us market crashes, shit hitting the fan, insane times crazy world, and a mess. Note that these all apply to situations.

Seven of Cups can apply to things, as well as to situations. It can say: damage, in pieces, debris, shattered. It also applies to a cloud, fumes, dust in the air, pollution – those sorts of things, too.

And Seven of Cups can apply to living beings: confused, shook up, losing it – everyone losing their minds.

Seven of Cups also brings miscellanea: a lot of little things, all sorts of things, all kinds of ways, everything, everything else, and ‘all at once.’
