Tarot Readings for You for May 28, 2013 Tuesday(c)

Guidance     Women getting together, quietly respecting one another’s turf and one another’s rights, working together, playing together, living together, keeping secrets for one another, sharing a knowing, managing things behind the scenes: That’s the scene we poke our noses in on for this day.

Instructions:

Are YOU here for the first time? People love this place!

Here’s what’s going on. See the pictures? Those are the four Rider Waite Tarot cards that make today’s messages (group messages) for you (and the people around you).

The site is divided into four sections. The first is a summary, an overview. That’s Guidance (above).

The second is the actual one-sentence group readings, Group Analytical Tarot Readings. If you have come just for your day’s trends, you can go now. You pick out the ones you intuitively relate to, and decide whether to seek or avoid that. People relate to these! See their comments, at the very bottom. We would *love* to hear from you. Don’t be shy!

.Answers don’t have a question (or a questioner) to frame them, so, yes, they can be contradictory – especially when one of the cards means ‘not’ or other negative word. The negative can apply to any of the other cards. And many of the pronouns are flexible. Feel free to substitute

The third section, Learn Tarot by Observation, is the reasoning that makes those four cards say the things you just read in the sentences. It’s what an expert would be thinking.

The last section, Learn Tarot by Pictures, is the individual meanings of each card, based mostly on its picture, which you are looking at. Read this frequently, and you remember what some of the cards mean.

High Priestess

Queen of Wands – Justice – Three of Cups

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Oh, no,” I said when I saw these four as today’s. Three ‘women’ cards with Justice in the midst of them. No action. Too much of the same. But I persevered, anyway, despite all.

Justice doesn’t have that many meanings, to be fielding three cards that simply mean women or a woman. It means ‘should’ and anything to do with law. It means entitled, sane, straight, and things being acceptable or okay. That really is about it, except it can be anything legal: lawyer, judge, regulation, regulators, law(s), legal rights, legal ownership or possession, and so on.

Three of Cups is ‘the girls.’ Girlfriends. Having fun. Sharing. Sharing a good time with one another (especially girls getting together and doing this). Being together on something. Celebrating. Sharing a profit, pooling resources. Copacetic, serendipity. Life of the party, and the party, and drinking or toasting.

High Priestess, in our present Tarot Verbatim(TM) company is simply a woman alone, another or the other woman, the quiet or passive woman, keeping quiet, keeping to herself, knowing all and not telling.

Women getting together, quietly respecting one another’s turf and one another’s rights, working together, playing together, living together, keeping secrets for one another, sharing a knowing, managing things behind the scenes: That’s the scene we poke our noses in on for this day.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

Queen of Wands She sits upright, that alert look on her face that mothers have, a flower in one hand and the big stick in the other. Queen of Wands is the wife or manager, so you get ‘legal wife’ when she sits next to Justice. She is the sensible woman, the woman with her head on straight, mama. It’s her house, she runs it in an orderly fashion. She is also the manager of an orderly situation at work.

Justice The scales of justice in one hand, the sword of execution in the other, he sits very upright on his throne with a bland expression.

Three of Cups There they are, still friends, toasting heartily their success in the midst of the harvested pumpkin farm they all invested in profitably.

High Priestess She sits surrounded by Kabbalah symbols, as She Who Knows All, the feminine principle of passivity upon the physical plane and being active on the spiritual plane. High Priestess, in our present Tarot Verbatim(TM) company, is simply a woman alone, another or the other woman, the quiet or passive woman, keeping quiet, keeping to herself, knowing all and not telling.

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In a personal reading, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.
Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers want you to know this!)
Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

Tarot Readings for You for May 27 2013 Monday(c)

Guidance      We have a story that says take action when that is called for; and if no action is called for, take a nap. Sometimes ambition is fulfilled by just joining the people who are already in power. Sometimes you get along at home by not trying to foist your ways upon the folks if they are getting along as things are.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Four of Wands is the people you know, other people, your associates, people around you (coworkers, neighbors, seatmates, etc.) as well as being a house, home and public or private building.

Four of Swords and Ace of Cups are relaxed. Four of Wands means not doing anything, not participating, sleeping, lying down. Ace of Cups is just letting it be, going along and getting along.

Four of Swords does not assert; Chariot is aggressive.

Chariot is you with your hands on the steering wheel, getting where you’re going, Chariot is decisive, ambitious, capable, successful. He chooses. He has an intention. He asserts his agenda. He is doing, and succeeding at what he is doing. He is usually a man, a Marine type. He can be a car, truck, bus – any vehicle that is mechanical – even a boat or airplane.

Put it all together, and we have a story that says take action when that is called for; and if no action is called for, take a nap. Sometimes ambition is fulfilled by just joining the people who are already in power. Sometimes you get along at home by not trying to foist your ways upon the folks if they are getting along as things are.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Ace of Cups means love, unconditional love, peace, no harm or harmless, people getting along, cooperating and going with the flow, peace and quiet. It includes things you love, places you love to be. It mens things like easy, benefit, wholesome or good for you or ‘for your own good,’ healthful and healthy. It also means water, flow, leak and any movement of liquids (like blood vessels, tissue, seepage in rocks).

The illustration of the fountain overflowing in five streams, with the wafer and the dove above it, speaks of divine spirit infusing and flowing through humans’ five senses or five ‘bodily humors’ of Middle Ages dogma.

Four of Wands shows a wedding of leading families, which is a pubic and political event. It speaks of leaders; group of people (family, neighborhood, nation, clan, coworkers, a company, etc.); home, house or building – including public buildings such as a court house or hospital; everybody; being one of those people.

The illustration is a vehicle driven by a very ambitious successful man: Charioteers were the special forces of their day, strategists to the bone.

Four of Swords Before a fellow actually became a knight, he had to pass through a ceremony which included sleeping in the church atop the bones of the saint or hero that church possessed. He was to have a vision of his life purpose as a knight, and report it to the bishop. So that is what this fellow is doing. The card in Tarot Verbatim(TM) is about not doing anything, not participating, taking a nap, peace and quiet, staying or remaining, taking it easy or resting easy, downtime, and of course meditating. Four of Swords doesn’t assert.

Tarot Readings for You for January 23, 2013 Wednesday(c)

Jan 22, 2013 by

Guidance        Who we marry, and how we leave our nuclear family, determines our future.  It is easy to get into a romance and let it develop into something that determines our future as we marry … and much harder to swim out of that tank.  You may relocate to a place away from where you would prosper.

Instructions: Are YOU here for the first time?  Come in!  People love this place!  Our site is divided into four sections: Guidance, Tarot Readings, Learn Tarot by Observation, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.
If you just want your daily look ahead, Guidance and Tarot Readings are all you need.  ‘Guidance’ is a summary of what the cards are generally advising visitors to be aware of that day.  ‘Tarot Readings’ is the actual word for word messages the cards are conveying.  Tarot can come up with a wide variety of sentences (sometimes even completely contradictory sentences!) in a group reading as there is no specific question being asked.  So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself.

Want even more insight and information about a specific situation in your life? Call me, Emily, at 1-800-993-6912 and talk to me personally and have yourself a live, in detail, Tarot Reading like no other you may ever have had before. Your call will support 500 acres of wild life in an animal sanctuary where I live and call home.  Or you can choose an email reading; the tab is above.

Also, don’t be shy about talking to the Community of Users in the comment section below. You’ll find this as the very last thing on this site. Trust me when I say we would *love* to hear from you!

As the family finances get better, he will be a nicer person.

Not too many sentences today, huh?  We have marriage (Four of Wands), a sweet-natured boyfriend (Knight of Cups), a good future (Two of Wands), and times being better than they were (Six of Swords) or leaving the bad times behind for better times.  There are several ways to make a story of these elements, especially with the fairly minor alterations that using other meanings of the cards make.

Both Two of Wands and Six of Swords say the future will be better.  Two of Wands is about the financial future (as well as the future generally), and Six of Swords says things will be better because they have been so awful, that we are leaving the past behind us.

Two of Wands is financial security, and Four of Wands shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life.

Knight of Cups is the good-natured, likeable young fellow … the boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect.

Four of Wands and Six of Swords are about leaving the family and putting it behind, yet also can be better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind.

Who we marry, and how we leave our nuclear family, determines our future. It is easy to get into a romance and let it develop into something that determines our future as we marry … and much harder to swim out of that tank.  You may relocate to a place away from where you would prosper.

Two of Wands    The banker who owns the town (See the world in his hands?) is about the financial future (as well as the future generally), and financial security.  He is planning on how to wring more money from his real estate below as he stands on the finished roof of his castle or whatever.
Four of Wands   shows a society wedding to express security in financial and social life.  It is about a good marriage, being one of the good people (the Establishment, perhaps), and refers to community, company, organization (civil or governmental), and even neighborhood.  It also can be a house.
Six of Swords    Huddled in a shallow open vessel, mother and child are paddled out of the area with just the clothes they are wearing.  Six of Swords says things will be better because they have been so awful, that we are leaving the past behind us.   Six of Swords can be about leaving the family and putting it behind, yet also can be better prospects for the family as it puts some bad times behind.
Knight of Cups is the good-natured, likeable young fellow … the boyfriend and perfect marriage prospect.  He fits into our spread perfectly as the good man of good family with a good future ahead of him.

EXPLANATIONS:

Each and every ‘Tarot Reading’ sentence you see is a literal interpretation of the four Rider Waite Tarot cards drawn and pictured for today. (The literal interpretation is from the illustration on each card.) These sentences are put together by only combining the phrases of what each cards says. In other words, there are NO “filler” phrases added just to make full sentences, and no psychic ability or spirit guide is ever involved.

*Without a question* in a group reading to focus the answer, the four Tarot cards can mean quite contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no,’ ‘never’ or ‘not.’ These negative modifiers can apply to any one of the other cards.
*Without a question* in a group reading, the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) are more flexible. Whenever you see a pronoun in parentheses, please *feel very free* to substitute another pronoun than the one used. I try to drop pronouns when possible, which, if you’ve noticed, can make for awkward phrasing.

Now in an ‘real’ individual reading, the questioner asks a specific question and thereby supplies at least half the information! In an individual situation, the parties are identified and sometimes a time frame is too. Here, in a group reading we cannot do that and so we get a variety of sentences.

Horoscopes are group readings, too. Astrology is based on someone else’s birth data, though, so a ‘solar’ group horoscope never really solidly applies to you! (Astrologers know this!)

Tarot, on the other hand, is perfectly capable of flexibly addressing any group, including all of the visitors that come to this site. It can also address people you might not even know personally, such as all the people at your job who have a say in whether or not you get a raise.

We have been wondering here lately whether the Tarot Verbatim(TM) sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than they are for people who visit this site only once in awhile or for a short time. Would you help us with a comment please, if you have not been a regular visitor? Just let us know if the sentences are relevant to you. So far, people say they do apply.

Return to this site often and you can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim(TM) works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Rider Waite Tarot cards with very little effort.

Tarot Readings for You for January 15, 2013 Tuesday(c)

Jan 15, 2013 by

Guidance        So our main theme is the role that the Unseen has in the events of our lives, its influence in our ordinary lives.  Both Judgment and Wheel of Fortune are about big changes.  We suggest something is afoot in our daily affairs that is ‘bigger than us,’ that represents our fate, that exerts change around us.  The fact that all four of our Tarot cards refer to this sort of things is indeed meaningful.

Are YOU here for the first time?  Come in! People love this place! Full instructions are at the bottom.

Guidance and the Tarot Readings are for you if you just want your daily look ahead.Guidance” is the summary, followed by your word for word     Tarot Readings from the four Rider Waite Tarot cards you see pictured here. Pick the sentences that you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them. Sentences contradict one another because negative cards, in this group reading with no question, can attach to any of the other three cards.

Want more? – keep going to Learn Tarot by Observing, and Learn Tarot by Pictures.

Want even more? – call Emily at 800 993-6912 to get yourself a detailed accurate live Tarot Reading, no information from you, or choose an email reading. There’s a tab for that on this page. You support 500 acres of animal sanctuary in the wilderness where Emily lives.

Great news of a windfall that comes to us  someone else.

They say we can make big money through them.

It’s a coincidence that you were told about the love affair between those two.

A verbal binder covered you for that event.

With luck, they recover from contact with an infectious agent.

Love life is wonderful again after all that interference.

Recovery from addiction when I am with a wonderful partner.

Judgment – Two of Cups – Lovers

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

This is a strange one!  Every one of the cards today shows winged creatures:  two angels (Judgment and Lovers) and two cards that show occult winged creatures (Two of Cups and Wheel of Fortune).

And two of the cards, in Tarot Verbatim(TM) mean interference in human affairs from ‘out there:’  Two of Cups is bad (malefic or infernal) interference, and Lovers is good or divine intervention in human affairs.   The caduceus (the winged lion’s head over entwined snakes) is a malefic symbol from antiquity, and that’s an angel Adam and Eve there.  Both winged beings are between and above the human couple in each case – signifying influence.   (Notice the same configuration in Devil, Card XV.)

Lovers is mainly about contact or connection.  It shows protection from ‘higher up.’  It is about being a couple, being together or on the same side, being partners or associates, connection to God or divine beings – and of course being in love, being lovers, being the lover or loved one.

Wheel of Fortune is destiny or karma, is coincidence, a happening or event, a windfall, anything wonderful, randomness of the kind represented by the bell curve, and luck or lucky.  All kinds of magic creatures, many with books, surround a roulette wheel looking thing that also has symbols at four points, including the four letters of the Hebrew ‘Name of God.’

So our main theme is the role that the Unseen has in the events of our lives, its influence in our ordinary lives.  Both Judgment and Wheel of Fortune are about big changes.  We suggest something is afoot in our daily affairs that is ‘bigger than us,’ that represents our fate, that exerts change around us.  The fact that all four of our Tarot cards refer to this sort of things is indeed meaningful.

Judgment    The idea of the angel blowing the horn and awakening the dead translates to words like recovery, to return to the way things were, a whole new life or level, a big announcement, to say, to make known, enlightenment, anew, again, a second time, and change.

Two of Cups shows hidden third-party influence in any way: byproducts, infection, addiction, mooching, silent partner, propaganda, a dependent person, violation of trust, sexual cheating, taking advantage, deceiving, taxes, embezzlement, being selfish, and so many others. It’s about malefic (bad) influence that is concealed. The caduceus (the winged lion’s head over entwined snakes) is a symbol from antiquity (yes, adopted by your doctor) that is about magic influence.

Lovers is good or divine interference, influence, intervention in human affairs.   That’s an angel overlooking Adam and Eve there. Lovers is mainly about contact or connection.  It shows protection from ‘higher up.’  It is about being a couple, being together or on the same side, being partners or associates, connection to God or divine beings – and of course being in love, being lovers, being the lover or loved one.

Wheel of Fortune is destiny or karma, is coincidence, a happening or event, a windfall, anything wonderful, big changes, randomness of the kind represented by the bell curve, and luck or lucky.  All kinds of magic creatures, many with books, surround a roulette wheel looking thing that also has symbols at four points, including the four letters of the Hebrew ‘Name of God.’

Did you come here just for your predictions?– If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on thefour cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can addressall the people at work who have a say in my raise,’for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a questionto focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a questionalso the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel veryfree to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim ™ works. Regular visitors actually learn to read Tarot without trying. The Tarot Talks tab has some examples for students.

Three of Wands – Ace of Cups – King of Wands

.

We’re all about love again.  Ace of Cups is love, true love, a cozy affection.  Temperance is about a close mutual relationship between two equal people, one-on-one. King of Wands is the husband, the erratic, edgy, passionate, grumpy, angry or irritated or frustrated fellow.  He is also the working man, the average man, the wild and crazy guy, even the macho man.

So we have intimate love and true love and the man marrying.  Pretty emphatic, huh?

King of Wands is the husband, the erratic, edgy, passionate, grumpy, angry or irritated or frustrated fellow.  He is also the working man, the average man, the wild and crazy guy, even the macho man.

Three of Wands says it’s a happening thing, it’s going to happen, it will continue happening:  Ships are coming in, you can watch them sail right up to you.

Then the same four Rider Waite Tarot table mates here address doing business with friends, putting deals together among your friends – you, the ordinary guy, doing that.  You make money with your friends, just the two of you in tandem.  Temperance, the same card that translates as a close relationship between two people is also the kind of business deal that is between friends.  Tarot often equates relationships – love and business are the same thing:  an exchange.

Ace of Cups also refers to things being good, good for you, healthful or healthy, cozy and cooperative.  We dip into that a little in this spread.

Ace of Cups is love, true love, a cozy affection.  It also refers to things being good, good for you, healthful or healthy, cozy and cooperative.  We dip into that a little in this spread.  Its illustration is opaque.  It represents going with God, channeling God’s presence.

King of Wands is the husband, the erratic, edgy, passionate, grumpy, angry or irritated or frustrated fellow.  He is also the working man, the average man, the wild and crazy guy, even the macho man.

Temperance is about a close mutual relationship between two equal people, one-on-one.  Its illustration is also opaque and religious, about diluting wine with water.  In Tarot Verbatim(TM), it is about an exchange, relationship or deal between people who are close.
