Guidance
|
If you’re keeping track, you may not be on the right track, our advice is saying today. It’s our unselfconscious values, our subconscious reflexive values, that are rewarded on our path. You get the credit when you are unaware of the credit. The gift of not caring … dare we say ‘not giving a damn’ along with Clark Gable? … is hard-won, for most of us. To unhitch our concerns about our individual welfare … that’s a tall order. This ‘not giving a damn’ is a trait shared by great saints and great psychopaths – another example of how the bell curve of Random Distribution is holding its hands behind its back, where the zeroes or one-percents meet.

Synopsis
|
Having not a care in the world: Now, that is a gift. For most of us that ‘gift’ takes a LOT of effort. To be free. To unhitch our concerns about money, getting credit, or where we are headed. Underneath, our spread today suggests that when you’re on the ‘right path,’ you are not keeping track of whether you are on the right path – you just are. Unselfconscious values, this suggests, are the real ones.

Death
Death’s illustration shows the dead king on the ground, the grieving family kneeling, the bishop’s possessing the crown to bestow upon the next head of state, death personified in black armor carrying a black flag with an emblem of a rose. Despite all this, Tarot Verbatim™ persists in using this Tarot card strictly as any negative modifier at all, and meaning ‘the end.’ Since Tarot Verbatim’s™ meanings are strictly derived from experience – field trials, you could say – there’s no arguing with this. Just be aware other systems vary from Tarot Verbatim’s™.
Ace of Pentacles
Ace of Pentacles depicts the idea that goodness is rewarded, that being on the right path brings money. Hmmm. You see the right path in gold, very straight and narrow, lilies (purity) to begin, and a huge arbor of roses (victory) to end. In case you don’t get THAT, a hand with a pile of gold coins is suspended over said gold path. In real life, Ace of Pentacles is money, being correct or right, the right path, a road (any kind), reward or credit, and ‘yes.’
Fool
Fool’s illustration bears some explanation. This young person skips to cliff edge, not looking where he is going, his dog prancing along. He is on a trip on foot with only a small purse, no provisions for him or the dog, and carries a white rose (purity, spirituality) in his hand. (He should meet Queen of Cups.) Fool is the zero, which suggests ‘nothing’ and being a place holder rather than having a real presence.
Fool means ‘to be free of’ and even ‘to be not there’ or absent. It can translate ‘nothing’ or ‘having no.’ The underlying idea is that a person who lives in spiritual reality is oblivious to physical hazards, and is exempt from their harm. (Do not try this at home.)
|
Now Without The Pictures
|
Ace of Pentacles is being on the right track or path, success, money, what’s right or correct; and it means ‘yes’ as the first self card in a Celtic Cross spread. Fool and Death together are tricky because in Tarot Verbatim™ Death is any negative modifier and Fool often means a lack of something since it means to be free, and therefore ‘to be free of’ anything. Death is an end and Fool is a start (since it is the zero). Although most Tarot systems consider death a change – ‘The king is dead, long live the king,’ don’t expect that in Tarot Verbatim.
Ace of Pentacles exemplifies the idea that being good is rewarded, that goodness is associated with money. You see the straight path in gold, lilies at its beginning (purity) and a rose arbor of victory at its end. In case you don’t get THAT point, a hand with gold in it is over the gold path. In use, Ace of Pentacles’ most common meanings are: money, to pay or receive it; being on track or on the path; right and correct; a road, literally; and being rewarded or getting credit for something.
Death is any negative modifier, and it means ‘the end’ or ‘ends up.’ The times it does translate ‘death,’ either death is the subject of the inquiry, or it does not refer to a death that would bring grief, often meaning the death of a thought or a thing. Usually, you see this Tarot card being: no, not, isn’t, can’t, don’t, won’t, and such words, and never. Death is what you love to have in a spread that has a ‘bad card’ because it makes, say, Ten of Swords, mean ‘not a disaste
Fool today is about freedom, not caring, and ‘no reason’ mainly, today.
The illustration bears some explanation. He is on a foot journey without provisions for himself or the dog. He is not looking where he is going, and is about to skip off a cliff.
As I pointed out, you see negative words in Fool’s very positive vocabulary – things like ‘for no reason,’ ‘doesn’t remember,’ being unaware,’ ‘doesn’t know’ and ‘have no idea,’ ‘not there,’ ‘not the one,’ ‘without,’ and ‘isn’t about to.’
When Fool gets together with Death, this makes a reader trip over Death as a negative modifier. A double negative is a positive in English but not in the romance languages – don’t know how that would work out in those – but in English, sometimes you have to do a double take, retrace, look at surrounding cards (if any) to understand what the sentence is telling you.
Fool and Death, when their meanings blend peacefully, say ‘not free,’ ‘don’t forget,’ ‘can’t ignore,’ ‘not openminded,’ ‘no fear of death,’ ‘the subconscious is not,’ and ‘I don’t care how it ends.
Death and Ace of Pentacles is of course ‘not the right way’ and ‘wasn’t on the road. The main thing you expect when these two get together is ‘not correct’ and ‘don’t have the money.’
Ace of Pentacles and Fool are most likely to bring up not caring about paying, being paid, or money. They also mean ‘don’t care if I am (or it is, or someone else is) correct.’ With Ace of Pentacles being reward or ‘getting the credit for,’ these two say ‘Don’t care if I get credit for it’ or ‘not expecting to be reimbursed.’
Note that both Ace of Pentacles and Fool share the concept of being ‘on the right path.’ Fool stresses living in the spirit, living unconsciously (or subconsciously, in the spirit), not paying attention to what people refer to as ‘the cares of this world.’

GUIDANCE ‘A Christmas Eve message, pleeeze, Tarot,’ I pleaded. ‘Tis Christmas Eve, and I was a tad militant in my request. Tarot isn’t culture-bound, so Tarot doesn’t know from Christmas. Previous days, I got no Christmas message – nay, I got rather dismal ones that turned out to be valuable advice to some devoted followers Tarot was talking to. BUT NOW: We have a story of a man who makes all the right moves, of a surprise gift – a ring, even! – a perfect moment, unexpected money, and the man is an instant sensation. Okay, I confess: I beat Tarot up to get this.

Ace of Pentacles – Judgment – Magician

.
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES..
.. ….. …
None of our three Tarot table-mates have meanings in common today. Imagine that! Well, a minor meaning of both Judgment and Magician is ‘to start,’ but that doesn’t really count.
Ace of Pentacles means ‘perfect’ and refers to a road (See the road.) Ace of Pentacles is about possession, so – since our question involves Christmas, which obviously involves gifts – Ace of Pentacles is using its ‘give-receive-gift-pay for’ spectrum. Ace of Pentacles also means: right, road, perfect, possession, success, and money paid or received.
Judgment’s meanings arise from all the factors that the resurrection of dead people at the honk of the angel’s horn suggests. That’s a lot of unrelated meanings. (If you want the full Monte regarding Judgment, just type in ‘Judgment Tarot Verbatim’ into Google.) The main ones we use today are ‘again,’ and ‘surprise.’ A surprise gift is Judgment (surprise, sudden) and Ace of Pentacles (to possess, to give or receive). Doing it again is Judgment (second time) and Magician (to do). Announce what is being done is Judgment (announce) and Magician (what is being done).
Magician translates any form of the verbs: to do; to make – and any form of the verb ‘act,’ as well as the noun ‘action.’ As the male principle, Magician, in Rider Waite, is all about doing, making, acting, taking initiative, and bringing about or creating.
Both Magician and Judgment refer to a start. Magician is to start, to begin, to do for the first time, to bring something about … generally to do or make. Judgment is a new phase, a new life. Judgment suggest a re-start, though – more doing something for the second time than the first. So Magician and Judgment together mean ‘Do it again’ or redo.

Ace of Pentacles The illustration shows ‘the right path,’ straight and narrow as we would expect, and suggests a reward for being on it (the hand with the gold). Being right and being successful go hand in hand, Ace of Pentacles says: Lilies in the front for purity and a victory trellis of roses at the end; the path is golden and the hand over it has a gold coin.
Ace of Pentacles in one of the Self positions in Celtic Cross spreads means ‘Yes.’ If you asked a yes-or-no question, there’s your answer. (And in the same position, Death means ‘no.’ And these can be relied upon.)
Today, with Christmas being our Question, Ace of Pentacles is a gift and a ring. Its common meanings are: right, money, perfect, to pay or get paid, to give or be given, reward, to possess, success, the best, road, path, right road, right path, be correct, prize, bonus reward, having (whatever) in your hands.
Judgment They are alive again when the angel blows his horn. Several unrelated categories of meaning arise from the illustration. Today we actually have a topic, so we are not discussing its whole spectrum of meanings. (To find that, type ‘Judgment Tarot Verbatim’ into Google.)
Today Judgment is a surprise, is to say, is all of a sudden or instant, is an inspiration, is something new, is back to, and is a change. With Ace of Pentacles, Judgment’s change is for the best or better, because that is one of Ace of Pentacles’ main meanings.
Judgment means ‘next’ or the second time; but it also means a new phase. So it can be a start (and Magician also means start); it can be a re-do; it can be the second attempt or second time.
Here are Judgment’s meanings for today: unexpected; surprise; moment; say the word; remember; something new; surprises (her); says; say; instant; overnight; taken by surprise; they say; all of a sudden; inspiration; telling you; to say it; tell someone; a new phase; idea; surprise; a promotion; again – back to _ …; makes a change; instant; name your; a raise.
Magician Magician The male principle is action, and that is what this Rider Waite Tarot card stands for. Conjugate the verbs ‘do’ and ‘make’ and put ‘he’ in front of them, and you have most of its meanings. The illustration shows a male magician with the tools of the trade creating an event. With its emphasis on ‘do,’ Magician owns ‘do it yourself,’ D.I.Y., and any way you say ‘he does’ – any form of that notion. Magician is about taking action, is about activity. Keep in mind that creating an event includes prevention. Magician is associated with willpower (as Chariot, another magic-oriented Rider Waite card, is) because it’s with the Will that he get things done, right?
Magician owns pronouns, of course. Not just ‘he’ and ‘him’ but ‘I’ and ‘myself.’ I explained how he borrows ‘yourself’ too, and sometimes even ‘your.’
.
.
.
.
We tend to get inspired to empathy, to doing things for people, and to spending money at Christmastime – not just giving gifts and getting together as family in as happy a way as possible. Our perspective on this Christmas Eve is financial, and we have a story about a man who ‘makes the moment,’ and who takes it upon himself to do things.

I am reminded to make a payment.
I make a change for the better.
I realize everything is all right, and act accordingly.
Suddenly money is available for you to do it.
You recover when you do what makes you well.
Yes, you are going to be active again.
Tell them how much money you will do that for.
Being active is the best way for you to have a new lease on life.
Next time, do what is right for you.
He gets back to you – he does the right thing.
You do something the second time and succeed.
This time, he does it to perfection.
When I do it again, I get it right.
His sudden success.
Get back on the road you started on.
Make a new life, a new chapter.
Make changes for the better.
Succeed at making a change in myself.
Doing something new and better.

Guidance
|
There’s a change for the better while you aren’t looking. It doesn’t matter whether you say the right thing, or whether what anyone says is right. The new phase is a good thing because we can go back to the way things were any time. Just hang loose and assume this is the right road for where we are going. But people don’t listen when you tell them what’s good for them.
Could This Be You?
Picture this: You look at the cards in your spread.
You immediately get an idea because you know a few of them intimately.
AND you know a system that works because you have had a few

GUIDANCE Did you come here for Your Daily Predictions? Good! Guidance provides your predictions in a summary. It is the Guidance received for you through three Rider Waite Tarot™ cards, using Tarot Verbatim™.
GROUP TAROT READINGS Here are several one-sentence readings that are predictions for you and the people around you for today and the days around it. Here Tarot is talking to you: These sentences express word-for-word, verbatim, the meanings of those three Tarot cards. You choose which sentences apply to you, and you choose whether to encourage them or not.
SYNOPSIS Located right after the Group Tarot Cards Reading sentences, is a deeper expression of today’s Guidance. Read this too for your predictions. Here you complete your predictions experience. The rest of the page is more about learning to love and learn Tarot Verbatim™.
LEARN TAROT CARDS BY PICTURES Are you ready to begin learning Tarot Verbatim™? Here your in-depth meanings come alive for each of the three cards! In Tarot Verbatim™, pictures make the meaning, so each card is like a person you know and remember.
WITHOUT THE PICTURES For the true seeker of Tarot knowledge, here is what you need to know about how the three cards in today’s spread affect one another, and how to apply Tarot Verbatim™. Here too the cards come alive, together.
WHERE EACH PHRASE COMES FROM At a glance, with a color for each card, your subconscious picks up on how the sentences of GROUP TAROT CARDS READING came to be. You feel how individual card meanings reach out and blend, unite, into a sentence. (You can learn this – yes, you!) Your subconscious awareness sees the image and its feeling and your conscious awareness sees the language meaning, the text… so your two minds focus together to see 3D, three dimensionally, the same way your two eyes see depth that one eye does not.
PHRASES FOR ALL THREE TWO CARD COMBINATIONS Are you ready for the final step of this revolutionary Tarot Verbatim™ technique? Now to make it exceedingly plain and simple, we list the expressions each pair of cards makes. We list them in paragraph form rather than itemized so that they flow, and your subconscious clicks into place and ‘gets it.’ You may even find flashes of dreams or intuitive realities as you read these, at times.
The Rider Waite Tarot™ deck is a data bank in mass consciousness that your subconscious can communicate with. Tarot Verbatim™ is the Rosetta Stone that makes that communication easy because it is a bridge between conscious and subconscious thought. When both your levels of awareness focus together, you think intuitively in real time in ‘the real world.’
Bon voyage!

Ace of Pentacles
is one of the moralistic cards. Like Ten of Cups, it shows good people are prosperous. The hand with the gold is suspended over the straight and narrow path. Ace of Pentacles is the way, the path, and the literal road. (Eight of Cups also has a literal road theme.) So Ace of Pentacles’ main applications are ‘right’ and ‘money,’ besides this road theme.
Here are Ace of Pentacles’ words and phrases for today: the price; what’s right; money; right; the straight-and-narrow; what’s good for them; right; what’s right; you get; get it; on the road; are right to; the straight-and-narrow; pays off; ‘You’re right’; is right for me; it’s correct; is right; on the road; to pay; to give you that; on the road; That’s a good thing!; the right; it’s rewarding; you’ll be okay; the way it’s supposed to; going straight; for the better; to do right.
Judgement
The story in Judgement makes for meanings that are dissimilar. The angel waking the dead; the dead returning to life, recovering, and having a whole new phase ahead of them; the loud noise, which can also be an alarm. Those are the meanings we put to use today.
Judgement is also about revelation, epiphany, breakthrough; seeing the light and soul change. Sometimes the angel is literal. We are not using this trunk of Judgement’s meanings but – if that’s what you are looking for here – you can Google ‘Judgment Tarot Verbatim’ and get the whole Judgement profile.
Here are Judgment’s words and phrases for today: they tell you; suddenly; unexpected; say the word; suddenly; when you tell them; you told me; people tell me; suddenly; tell (them); someone honks; go back to; news flash; a whole new life; just say; I’m outta here; it’s publicity; what you are told; again; reminding; again, again, instantly; words come; a whole new level; the news; change; recovers; things have changed; reminding.
Fool
You see a youth and his pup taking a hike about to skip over a cliff. Fool has no baggage for his journey and is dressed lightly. Here’s Fool’s back-story: When you live ‘out there’ because you are that spiritually inclined, you don’t pay attention to the down-here realities, and they don’t apply to you like they do to the real citizens of the physical world. (Yes, there is some truth to this concept, but ‘Don’t try it at home.’) One’s connection to ‘out there’ is largely subconscious, so Fool represents things sub- and super- conscious. This is where we get the freedom meanings, the not-present meanings, and the oblivious ‘oh never mind’ meanings for this Fool.
Fool means ‘open to’ or open mind and also means not listening or ignoring. Fool is one of those cards I could write a book on. Its meanings, its applications. Fool means to assume and also to not care. It is an optimism card but also means oblivious. No, Fool is no anchor card; it is the chameleon zero that slides into the equation and invisibly rocks everybody’s value.
Here are Fools words and phrases for us for today: forget the whole thing; I had forgotten that; frees you up; without even knowing; somehow finding myself on; they pay no attention; I ignored you; I just assume; what you never thought of before; (they) don’t get it; not paying attention; to forget the whole thing; no one is; yourself free; let it be; being on the loose; who cares; just assume and go about your business; don’t know where I’m going; forget about; forgot; feeling free; clearing my mind; when you aren’t thinking about it; open my mind; just don’t listen; without you; maverick ways; you aren’t aware; forget about.

Now Without The Pictures
|
Serendipity: Things just happen to happen for the best without any outside help. That’s today’s story. Just say the word and it’s yours – who’d-a-thunk-it.
An unexpected goody when you aren’t looking.
Ace of Pentacles is the goody – see the hand with the prize money? Judgment is the unexpected – see the folks getting up from their coffins? And Fool is without you doing anything – is when you’re not looking.
Both Fool and Judgment suggest a new life with optimism, a clearing of old mind and a blank slate. Judgment and Fool are both about freedom – a breath of fresh air in each.
You don’t need a book to tell you Judgment is about a new life: People are raised by the dead in the illustration. Judgment is a change, a shift, a new perspective, a sudden awareness. The horn of the angel is announcing, so Judgment also takes on all the say-tell-speak meanings. Combine the ‘new phase’ and ‘second time around’ meanings with speak and Judgment now is also a reminder.
We are on the road with Ace of Pentacles, which turns the angel’s horn (which means alarm for waking up those dead people) into a car horn, possibly the kind of honk that is an alarm.
Fool means ‘nothing.’ Fool isn’t there. Fool forgot. Fool doesn’t know you. Fool is living in his free world. Fool is the maverick you don’t interfere with, and who doesn’t interfere with you. Switch ‘I think therefore I am’ to ‘I don’t think, therefore I am not.’ Fool isn’t a member, isn’t affected. Fool is ‘water off a duck’s back’ and not caring one way or the other. ‘On the road again,’ a song, catches Fool’s vibe.
So both Fool and Ace of Pentacles are on the road.
Fool has a lot of meanings that spread out from this main puddle. He means optimism; youth; to assume; being personally free – a free spirit.

Three of Wands – Ace of Pentacles – Judgment
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
This is a free credit card from the cosmos, people! The genie from the bottle is knocking on your door.
Judgment means a change, a sudden shift, a new consciousness.
Three of Wands and Ace of Pentacles and Empress, the other three cards, all refer to having money, two of them, Ace of Pentacles and Empress, specifically meaning lots of it. The remaining one, Three of Wands, means a continuing flow of money.
That’s your report in a nutshell.
So Three of Wands is income and money coming to (you);
Ace of Pentacles is a large sum of money and possessing it (and success, and ‘on the right track’);
Empress is being comfortable in an abundant life, having it all. She is gorgeous, beloved, relaxed and grateful. She can be pregnant, too, along with the other forms of ‘fertility.’ She is kind of the female Nine of Cups, plus she has all these overtones of being beautiful and fertility. This card is a roll-up of all the fertility goddesses.
Three of Wands and Ace of Pentacles So money and success are on their way to you, and …
Ace of Pentacles and Empress … so good times are on their way to you, the good and comfortable life
Ace of Pentacles and Judgment … and you possess this by realizing it. (So let’s realize, right now!)
Three of Wands and Judgment Here we have the second coming of money and the future being good again. It is also news of the coming of prosperity or profit.
Three of Wands and Empress And here your life is going to be easy, comfortable and cozy. Or there’s a love goddess ahead … which could be you if you are a lady of that inclination, and could be the way someone sees you whether you are (in your opinion) or not, and could be a fellows ideal woman and/or a gorgeous girlfriend. All these ideas are underlined and amplified by
the fact that Ace of Pentacles and Empress – with Ace of Pentacles meaning both ‘perfect’ and ‘in possession,’ indicate this lady is the perfect woman, the ideal girlfriend, and even the sexiest gal around, since Ace of Pentacles also means ‘the best’ or ‘the most’ and Empress is the sexpot of the Tarot deck.
Your beauty returns. Which means a woman is great-looking again, or a fellow’s best girl comes back to him. These two Rider Waite Tarot cards in Tarot Verbatim™ also mean you are comfortable with your life again.
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
.
Three of Wands Your Ships Are Coming In is the obvious meaning just looking at it. He is waiting, eyeballing the ships and knowing confidently he will have his merchandise and/or his profit.
Ace of Pentacles … has the money. Enough, or a significant sum, and having it is the result of being on track, being on the right path. Success generally in any category including spiritual. This Rider Waite Tarot card links spiritual path to having money and to success. It is the cover of the free book I wrote.
Judgment The resurrection story has several elements which are the core meanings of the Rider Waite Judgment card. A sudden change, a shift of consciousness, recovery or revitalization (‘re-‘ anything), a new life or new phase, a return to a former condition, and suddenly. There’s also: again, return, come back, and the second time around. It also refers to an announcement, news or publicity, a loud sound or shout.
Empress ‘Sitting Pretty.’ Luxury. Comfort, cozy. Abundant life, Lady Bountiful. Fertility principle. Beautiful woman, beloved. Pregnant. All these meanings are in the illustration in Rider Waite Tarot as usual. She has everything and she is gratefully enjoying it on soft cushions.

Tarot Verbatim
Guidance parallels having the right idea financially and succeeding with having the right path in life and succeeding. Tarot frequently parallels love relationships and business deals. These messages parallel spirituality and finances. Focus is key to success in both spiritual and financial life, we are saying. The reward is a sure thing to those who are right – the reward being a new lease on spiritual life and/or financial life. Say what is on your mind that you are entitled to be paid.

Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,
*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here. It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.
*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures. It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say. It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.
You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.
This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.
Knight of Pentacles
Hierophant – Ace of Pentacles – Judgment
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
Both Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles mean ‘right.’ Hierophant means what everybody accepts – the usual surface aspect, official reality, ‘the way things are.’ Hierophant is ‘pope.’ Ace of Pentacles shows ‘the right path’ and means ‘right’ very often. Both these cards will translate ‘correct’ at times. On the other hand, Hierophant is mundane reality, physical life, and Ace of Pentacles means financial success often, so Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles say ‘worldly success.’ This is where our twin themes of spiritual success and money success come from. Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles also say finances are normal or ‘enough money’ or even ‘the usual price,’ which would probably refer to retail price. Hierophant means ‘entitled,’ So these two cards say ‘entitled to the award’ or ‘entitled to the money.’
Judgment is to speak or make a big announcement. Knight of Pentacles is to know one thing for sure. Together, Judgment and Knight of Pentacles are about telling people what you know, saying what is on your mind, publishing your view(s).
With Judgment meaning ‘returning to a former state’ and Knight of Pentacles being a sturdy, vigorous man, Judgment and Knight of Pentacles say ‘restores his vigor or strength.’
Now, going back to the first and main meanings we gave for these pairs:
When you add Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles to Judgment and Knight of Pentacles, you get: openly speaking up for what you know to be right. That is one of our themes.
Now for the religion theme:
We have the pope (Hierophant), then the right path (Ace of Pentacles), then an angel (Judgment) – the angel that announces the resurrection. Obviously, this is about religion. These three Rider Waite Tarot cards are followed by Knight of Pentacles, who is focused on one belief, thing or priority. Hierophant and Ace of Pentacles say ‘the right religion.’ Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles describe belief in one religion. They also describe someone who is convinced what he thinks is right, since Hierophant, of course, also means ‘correct, right, and accepted.’ Can you see ‘the usual viewpoint’ is Hierophant and Knight of Pentacles?
Hierophant and Judgment are a religious revelation or discovery, or religion changing one’s life – and also to return to religion, since Judgment means to return to a former state (i.e., resurrect). These two Tarot cards also translate ‘say the right words,’ what you say is so right-on,’ and ‘return to normal.’ With Hierophant meaning an official paper or certificate, when you add Judgment, you have a document that officially says something – a legal document, especially a decree, judgment or even verdict.
.
Now for the lawsuit theme:
We have ‘entitled’ in Hierophant (pope), money in Ace of Pentacles, a court judgment in Judgment – followed by Knight of Pentacles, who has one thing – the decision – in mind. This is easily about a lawsuit.
LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES
.
Hierophant shows the public face of a religion, distinguishing what is presented to the public from whatever else – so Hierophant is about ‘face.’ It is about surface appearances – good behavior as perhaps distinguished from a good heart; morality as perhaps distinguished from decency; reputation as distinguished from character; the ritual as distinguished from the concept behind it. It means the official story we present our public about who we are, and the official story governments and businesses present to their public (us) about who and what they are. It refers to a decent, harmless, normal person. It is about the usual routine, the daily protocols. As ‘official,’ it is about documents and certificates and ‘papers.’ Hierophant also means ‘entitled’ as part of its ‘rightful’ meanings. It translates ‘should’ often.
Ace of Pentacles The illustration shows ‘the right path,’ straight and narrow as we would expect, and suggests a reward for being on it. Being right and being successful go hand in hand, Ace of Pentacles says: Lilies in the front for purity and a victory trellis of roses at the end; the path is golden and the hand over it has a gold coin. It means success and money, and will translate as ‘correct’ and as ‘financial.’
Judgment shows the resurrection angel making its Big Announcement, and people coming to new life as a result. Often, it means ‘again’ and ‘the second time.’ Its other meanings are publicity and announcement, the decision of a court or jury in a lawsuit (because of the word ‘judgment’), a shift or change, sudden or suddenly, revelation, discovery, surprise or alarm. Judgment is one of the cards that means ‘return’ because the bodies are returning to their former state: being alive. To restore, revive, review … many words beginning in ‘re’ that infer ‘again.’ Yes, it means ‘again’ often, too.
Knight of Pentacles depicts the man with one thing on his mind. He is sure. He has decided. His attention and energy are concentrated and focused on one thing – often his ambition. He is obsessed, sometimes in a bad way. He is a physical man, often a strong man, even a punk. Put him next to a female card, and the likely meaning is ‘He has eyes only for her.’

Tarot Verbatim
Guidance I have to do things right the first time to succeed against the odds. When I succeed the first time, well, I have to do it right the second time too. The challenge could be in my love life, my business life, my internal life … any arena whatsoever. There’s a price for success, and, then, there comes a time when I name a price for what I am doing because I am worth that now. The hard part in some endeavors comes after I qualify as a candidate.
Are YOU here for the first time? Come in!

Tarot Readings: Make Himself (Magician and Seven of Wands)
This guy is coming back and doing the right thing in spite of himself!
Being faced with a challenge in which your success is against the odds makes you do things for the first time.
He goes back to make it perfect this time, no matter what.
Making myself act just right the second time around.
Next time he is going to make himself do it right.
Push yourself to do it again perfectly.
Being told that doing it the hard way is the right way.
Tarot Readings: Financial Struggle (Ace of Pentacles and Seven of Wands)
It’s a struggle to make one more payment.
Insist on a raise. What you are doing is worth a lot more.
It’s hard to name a price for doing (that).
It’s difficult, but you make a large sum of money quickly.
The big news is: having the money to get started with a big push.
It’s news that he was that aggressive to make that much money.
Tarot Readings: Succeed at Getting It Done (Ace of Pentacles and Magician)

It’s a challenge to do that but the reward is immediate.
You get publicity (glory) when you do something so against the odds.
Succeed at getting started in a whole new challenge.
The best way to ‘get ‘er done’ is to barrel through, he said.
Tarot Readings: Break Through the Block (Judgment and Seven of Wands)
Get back on the road that you started on, that was blocked.
It says ‘No entrance’ on that road, but you break through anyway.
Getting word that you are accepted, and now begins the hard part.

Seven of Wands
Ace of Pentacles – Magician – Judgment
LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING
.
Doing what it takes to break through the blocks and succeed. That’s what this says to the immediate observer.
Magician is ‘doing.’ Here, Magician (or he) is doing what it takes.
Judgment is breakthrough or breaking through
Seven of Wands is the block.
Ace of Pentacles is success, to succeed.
Ace of Pentacles is the road; Seven of Wands is the block. Together, they suggest succeeding where there is a block. Ace of Pentacles and Seven of Wands also say ‘success against the odds’ because Ace of Pentacles, as you know by now, is success, and Seven of Wands is ‘against the odds,’ as you can see from the picture there. By the way, it is assumed in this illustration that Seven of Wands does win the struggle he is in.
Magician and Seven of Wands are both males who are engaged in an effort. Magician is doing something, and Seven of Wands is resisting something. In a spread, Seven of Wands could be against doing something, or against what is being done.

Ace of Pentacles Illustration shows the straight and narrow path, the lilies in front and the roses in the rear, the hand with the money in it suspended above the path: This is the perfect ‘Prosperity Theology’ illustration. Magician does. He is the male, the male principle. Action. There he is with the tools of his trade on the table, making something happen (or not happen) with his brandished wand. His main phrases are any form of the ‘do’ or ‘make’ verb you can imagine. To initiate, inaugurate, begin or start belongs to him too. He also stands for a reference to ‘he’ in any way. ‘Myself’ is another of his words. Here are today’s phrases for him:

Judgment also begins or inaugurates a new phase, but it rather means a redo of anything, since the illustration shows the resurrection. The resurrection is a sudden unexpected event, so there ya go: Its meaning embraces suddenness and ‘unexpected’ too.
Yes, this is one of the Middle Ages cards that was in the deck to deflect criticism of the religious. It especially means to come back, to return. The angel’s trumpet is announcing, so there you go: It means to announce, to say, to declare, publicity – that sort of thing. Here are the phrases it makes today:

Seven of Wands defends himself in the struggle, defends his position against them all, against all the odds, no matter what, in spite of himself. It’s difficult but he is aggressive enough to make himself do it. Here is a fellow whose neighbors have come against him to intrude on his property, who got only one shoe on, he was so taken by surprise. But there he is fighting them, and the presumption is that he wins. Here are the today phrases this Seven of Wands gives rise to:

Advice Continue on your current course and you will come to a realization that everything is all right and you are fine as you are. The abundant life is not a goal but a path, and you have it when you are grateful for what you already have because you see your situation as a continuum. Money is available suddenly that gives you a comfortable life (partly because you are comfortable in the knowledge you have enough).

Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Three of Wands – Ace of Pentacles – Judgment
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
This is a free credit card from the cosmos, people! Judgment means a change, a sudden shift, a new consciousness. The other three cards refer to having money, two of them specifically meaning lots of it.
So Three of Pentacles is income and money coming to (you); Ace of Pentacles is a large sum of money and possessing it (and success, and ‘on the right track’); Empress is being comfortable in an abundant life, having it all. She is grateful. She can be pregnant, too, along with the other forms of ‘fertility.’ She is kind of the female Nine of Cups, except she has all these overtones of being beautiful and fertility.
So good times are on their way to you, and you possess this by realizing it. (Think! Think!)
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Three of Wands Your Ships Are Coming In is the obvious meaning just looking at it. He is waiting, eyeballing the ships and knowing confidently he will have his merchandise and/or his profit.
Ace of Pentacles … have the money in his possession, a significant sum. This is the result of being on the right track or path. Success generally in any category including spiritual. This Rider Waite Tarot card links spiritual path to having money and to success. I chose it as the cover of my Ebook I wrote a few months ago.
Judgment The resurrection story has several elements which are the core meanings of the Rider Waite Judgment card. A sudden change, a shift of consciousness, recovery or revitalization (‘re-‘ anything), a new life or new phase, a return to a former condition (or ‘again’) and suddenly. It also refers to an announcement, news, a loud sound or shout.
Empress ‘Sitting Pretty.’ Luxury. Comfort. Abundant life, Lady Bountiful. Fertility principle. Beautiful woman, beloved. Pregnant. It’s all in the illustration in Rider Waite Tarot as usual. She has everything and she is gratefully enjoying it on soft cushions.

Advice parallels having the right idea financially and succeeding with having the right path in life and succeeding. Tarot frequently parallels spirituality and finances. Focus is key to this spiritual and/or financial success; and the reward is a sure thing to those who are right – the reward being a new lease on life (spiritually and/or financially). Say what is on your mind that you are entitled to be paid.

Knight of Pentacles
Hierophant – Ace of Pentacles – Judgment
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
These are interesting. Both Hierophant (the pope) and Ace of Pentacles mean ‘right.’ Judgment is to speak or make a big announcement. Knight of Pentacles is to know one thing for sure. This is about openly speaking up for what you know to be right.
We have the pope, then the right path (Ace of Pentacles), then an angel in Judgment (the one that announces a resurrection) followed by the Knight of Pentacles idea of ‘one thing in mind.’ This is easily a story about religion.
We have ‘entitled’ in the Hierophant (pope), money in Ace of Pentacles, and the idea of a court judgment in Judgment – followed by Knight of Pentacles, who has one thing – the decision – in mind. This is easily about a lawsuit.
MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS
Hierophant shows the public face of a religion, distinguishing what is enacted for the public from whatever else: the ritual as opposed to the actual concept or teaching. It means the official story, the good behavior (perhaps as distinguished from the good heart), morality (perhaps as distinguished from actual decency). It is reputation.
Ace of Pentacles suggests a reward for being on the ‘right path.’ Being right and being successful go hand in hand. Lilies in the front for purity and a victory trellis of roses at the end; the path is golden and the hand over it has a gold coin.
Judgment shows the resurrection angel making its Big Announcement, and people coming to new life as a result. Its meanings are publicity and announcement, the decision of a court or jury in a lawsuit (because of the word ‘judgment’), a shift or change, sudden or suddenly, shift, revelation.
Knight of Pentacles depicts the man with one thing on his mind. He is sure. He has decided. He attention and energy is focused, and focused on one thing – often his ambition. He is obsessed, sometimes in a bad way. He is a physical man, often a strong man, even a punk.

Four Card Spreads, Our Daily Spread
Advice says being faced with a challenge in which your success is against the odds makes you do things for the first time. The second time around, he has to do it right, whether ‘it’ is romance, business or whatever. It is a struggle to do ‘it’ one more time. There is a price for what you are doing, a price it is worth: Name it! The hard part begins after you get the word that you are accepted as a candidate.
Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Advice above which is a summary of the Messages. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.)
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below . One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Intuitively pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct .

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
Both Magician and Judgment refer to beginning. Magician frankly means to inaugurate, start or begin; Judgment’s ‘whole new phase’ echoes that. Aces, vaguely, are beginnings too.
Ace of Pentacles is the road, and Seven of Wands is blocked. Ace of Pentacles is success, and Seven of Wands is against the odds.
Magician and Seven of Wands are both males who are engaged in an effort.

His main phrases are any form of the ‘do’ or ‘make’ verb you can imagine. To initiate, inaugurate, begin or start belongs to him, too. Judgment also begins or inaugurates a new phase, but it also means a redo of anything, since the illustration shows the resurrection. The resurrection is a sudden unexpected event, so there ya go: Its meaning embraces that too.
Yes, this is one of the Middle Ages cards that was in the deck to deflect criticism of the religious. It especially means to come back, to return.
