Let the Type A’s roar the motors of their poor Porsches; we shall purr along the roadway being kind to our ride, and we shall arrive in such good shape, such good mood. Ace of Swords – Eight of Pentacles – Six of Cups

.

.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING and

              LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.………………. .……..…….. Our main sentiment is glaringly obvious. In the center we have the routine day, what you do all the time, the workplace – Eight of Pentacles of course. To his left is the imperative Ace of Swords, who says what must be done. To his right is the very mellow, even loving, Six of Cups – the good old days and sweetness galore. They say: Make a deliberate effort to have a warm fuzzy day as often as can be.

.

Ace of Swords……..Ace of Swords, which sports a brandished weapon crowned with a crown, which crown in turn is crowned with laurel leaves, can be about a battle, about a hardwon victory. Today, in the company of Six of Cups – sweet mellow experience, and Eight of Pentacles – whatever is ordinarily and routinely done, Ace of Swords uses its achievement, its ‘the best’ or ‘superb’ gear, its assertion meaning, its ‘total’ or all-one-way words, it’s ‘the most’ or ‘number one’ phrases. It also uses, slightly, ‘challenge’ and ‘threat’ today. An offshoot of Ace of Swords’ force meaning is the ‘have to’ or ‘got to have’ variants; and then there’s all the ‘make (fill in pronoun or name)’ ones.

Eight of Pentacles……….Eight of Pentacles Here’s a carpenter at work making one piece after another. Eight of Pentacles applies to anything about work, workplace, labor, job, having a job, and the actual hands-on doing of a task. Then it applies to continual actions like ‘keeping at it’ or ‘keeps doing.’ It means ‘one after the other.’ Eight of Pentacles is also persistent and consistent.

Six of Cups……….Six of Cups is the main card that the other cards modify. Today, Six of Cups does not refer to the past, as it often does. This Six of Cups card has more meanings, and more categories of meanings, than most.

The illustration of a well-dressed little boy gifting a well-dressed little girl with flowers immediately brings up tender moments, gestures of affection (giving her flowers), children, childhood, sweetness, a good neighborhood, an old or quaint cozy dwelling, innocence, trust, romance and love and affection, giving or receiving a gift. Six of Cups is friends who trust one another. It can translate the single word ‘trust,’ even meaning that financially – you know, the family trust. Here are some other words it makes today: love, someone to love you, have always been, be good to people, mellow.

.

.

Why leave the tone of our ordinary day to chance, we ask ourselves, when we can apply ourselves to the project of Having a Good Day. Sound like a plan? I think so. Be kind to your circumstances. Cultivate the human resources around you so that they are disposed to accommodate you as you accommodate them.

.

.

Now we show where each of the phrases in each of the sentences comes from:

Now, Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined three pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these three cards get together in your mind to make the messages. HERE ARE PHRASES FOR ALL THREE 2-CARD COMBINATIONSis a stream-of-consciousness bridge to your subconscious if you use it regularly – people report.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the three cards, by itself, has to say.  It shows you how that illustration makes that card’s meanings in today’s Spread. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Word-for-word Tarot Verbatim™.

You can put all this together and intuitively see yourself how Tarot Verbatim™ works.

This is a group reading, with no Questioner and no Question to limit what the cards say, so there’s more variety – even contradictions – and also the pronouns are more flexible. If it feels like it’s yours, and it says ‘he,’ and you’re a ‘she,’ feel free to adopt it anyway.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

……………….……………………  To create an environment that is inviting and based on trust is such a challenge; it requires such an effort! Today, we look at this situation, and we say, no, it is not really impossible if you keep at it.

………………………..   Ace of Swords is both the challenge and the victory. If something is next to impossible, and you do it, by golly, you have won; the victory is yours, and you get to wear that laurel wreath before the crowd. The glory is yours. That is what Ace of Swords is all about. You see the upraised sword crowned, and the crown is crowned with the ultimate symbol, public symbol, of victory – that laurel wreath.

………………………..   Eight of Pentacles is the work, the hands-on steady consistent unheralded effort behind every great work. Eight of Swords is unsung, is everyday mundane routine labor day in and day out. They call it sweat equity in the courtroom, you know? Eight of Swords is the work, the worker, the workplace … and is labor as an expense, as a political party or movement. Eight of Swords is ‘shoulder to the wheel’ time.

………………………..    Six of Cups is trust and children and home – nostalgia for the past values, for the personal past that was better days than now. The good old days. Six of Cups is making a good life for your kids, which, yes, can get the best of a person, which can take you over.

………..…………..   Ace of Swords and Eight of Pentacles  Ace of Swords and Eight of Pentacles say you must (Ace of Swords) work at it (Eight of Pentacles); it requires constant effort; working on mastering something; necessary work, or work is necessary or ‘I have to keep doing (something) or I have to work; I have work to do; have to keep trying. These two also say ‘forced to do it’ and ‘get their chores regularly.’

………..…………..Ace of Swords and Six of Cups  Ace of Swords and Six of Cups are really about working on love, and love is paramount. These two say things like to have trust and love, you must; to be a close friend (Six of Cups) requires (Ace of Swords) …. They say ‘mastering the art of romance’ and ‘I shall be sweet to the one I love.’ They say ‘make this home as wholesome as you possibly can.’ ‘Making an affectionate environment is a challenge, these two Rider Waite Tarot cards inform us. They also describe how sweet memories – the nostalgia of them – get the best of me. They say things like ‘Old friends (Six of Cups) are Number One (Ace of Swords).’ They say you have to (Ace of Swords) be sweet (Six of Cups). They say a safe neighborhood (Six of Cups) is a must (Ace of Swords). They also describe spoiled kids in ‘The kiddos (Six of Cups) rule him (Ace of Swords). They say ‘My love for the children (Six of Cups) comes first.’

……………………  Eight of Pentacles and Six of Cups   Eight of Pentacles and Six of Cups combine ‘work’ and ‘love,’ so they say ‘working on love.’ Six of Cups is trust along with love, so these two say ‘To have trust along with your love, work at it.’ They say being a close friend (Six of Cups) requires effort (Eight of Pentacles). They suggest being consistently (Eight of Pentacles) sweet to loved ones (Six of Cups). They say ‘I am making’ (Eight of Pentacles) this home wholesome (Six of Cups).’ They even say ‘I have been in love (Six of Cups – love and the past) so many times (Eight of Pentacles). They say this is a mellow (Six of Cups) workplace (Eight of Wands). They say working on (Eight of Pentacles) the past (Six of Cups). They say ‘Keep (Eight of Pentacles) sweet (Six of Cups). They say work (Eight of Pentacles) is a blessing (Six of Cups). They say ‘to work (Eight of Pentacles) on old houses (Six of Cups).’ They say ‘a safe neighborhood (Six of Cups) that’s working-class (Eight of Pentacles).’ They say ‘He works because of his kids’ and ‘when I was a kid, I had work to do.’ They say ‘work (Eight of Pentacles) with children (Six of Cups). They say both ‘Kids (Six of Cups) have chores to do (Eight of Pentacles)’ and ‘Keep trying (Eight of Pentacles) to have children (Six of Cups).’

Aiming to make your corner of the world, your individual reality which is set within the circumstances you find yourself in, wholesome, based on trust, affectionate and real … well, you’ve got your work cut out for you. Ace of Swords……… Ace of Swords is about total victory, and totally defeating whatever the challenge you faced was. Ace of Sword is an order, a mandate, a ‘must.’ You see the naked blade held aloft, upright; you see it crowned; you see the crown crowned with laurel leave which are a symbol of total victory. You cannot miss the meaning of Ace of Swords.

.

Eight of Pentacles …………. Eight of Pentacles is the unsung daily hourly consistent shoulder-to-the-wheel effort, the work. It is about the worker, the work-place, being working-class, keeping at it. It is routine, mundane reality. You see a carpenter hammering out on identical gizmo after another. (If you have ever heard a professional carpenter hammer, you will remember it.)

Tarot Readings for You for December 6, 2013 Friday©

Guidance      centers around the importance of trust in a business deal or relationship.   The more trust there is among the people who get together to make a business, the more likely the enterprise is to succeed.   This is true of a couple and this is true of a family.  Even a nation whose leaders reflect the values and lifestyles of citizens functions better.   A person who has the ability to get people to work together trusting one another is a person whose enterprise succeeds.

Now,  Part Two,

Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim™ thing works? If so,

*Go to Learn Tarot by Observing section below. This tells about the combined four pictures in the Tarot Readings – the pictures above here.  It explains how these four cards get together in your mind to make the messages.

*Go to Learn Tarot by Pictures.  It is what each of the four cards, by itself, has to say.

High Priestess

Ace of Swords – Six of Cups – Three of Pentacles

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

.

Six of Cups and Three of Pentacles are both about real estate. Six of Cups is an old or quaint house, a safe neighborhood. Three of Pentacles is a real estate closing.

Ace of Swords and High Priestess Ace of Swords is assertive or aggressive; High Priestess is passive. Together they can describe a quiet lady with an iron will who makes people do (whatever), can say ‘make the lady,’ and ‘passive aggressive.’

Ace of Swords and Six of Cups and Three of Pentacles say: You have to trust the people you deal with: You have to trust the people you deal with . High Priestess would add ‘You have to know and trust the people you deal with.

HERE ARE THE COMMON PHRASES FOR THE SIX TWO-CARD COMBINATIONS FOR TODAY’S SPREAD:

Ace of Swords and Six of Cups Very assertive kid. The very best love affair. The most romantic. A must-have love. Has to, he/she is my childhood sweetheart. Has to trust. Assertive young (person) is in love. Makes (you) be sweet. Asserts rights as the beneficiary. Given an achievement award. Makes the kids.

Ace of Swords and Three of Pentacles A must-have relationship. Have to get together. Relationship is an achievement. Controls the relationship. Enforces the contract. Enforceable contract. Has to agree. Has to pay as agreed. Have to do (your) part.

Ace of Swords and High Priestess A quiet achievement. Lady controls. Has to __ the lady. She has to. An assertive lady. The very best she has ever had. The expert has to be. The woman’s victory. Have to know. She won.

Six of Cups and Three of Pentacles Trust one another in our relationship. Meet up with childhood sweetheart. Beneficiary of the agreement or document (will or contract). Get them trusting one another. Relationship with children. Contract about children. Child support agreement. Deal with your childhood. Fiduciary relationship.  Dealing with the past.  Dealing with childhood.

Six of Cups and High Priestess Is passive in this love affair. Love a lady. She trusts. Girlish lady. Be sweet to her. Give the woman. Woman who knows kids. Expert on kids. Passive when she was young. Stays home with the kid(s). Know about your childhood.

Three of Pentacles and High Priestess Relationship with a lady who does her part. Meet a lady. Lady meets. In this relationship is passive. She knows how to get people together. Is paid for what she knows. Know who you’re dealing with. Dealing with the high planes.

SOME LEGAL PHRASES

Immediately apparent are legal phrases like fiduciary relationship ( Six of Cups and Three of Pentacles) which I did not use, enforceable contract or agreement ( Ace of Swords and Three of Pentacles), beneficiary to a contract ( Six of Cups and Three of Pentacles), which also reads ‘agreement re child support.’ Three of Pentacles is a contract or agreement and is also court proceedings, as well as a real estate closing. Ace of Swords is to enforce, and is an order. Six of Cups is trust (fiduciary) and also giving an award.

Anytime you see Six of Cups , there’s romance and/or children. Six of Cups + Three of Pentacles = Romantic Relationship. And here’s High Priestess , the Lady as well as the Other Woman, the quiet one who knows all and is unassertive (except Ace of Swords might impinge on that as assertiveness).

Then High Priestess is spiritual or the spiritual plane , Three of Pentacles is dealing with and Ace of Swords is power . You get power when you deal with the spiritual plane.

LEARN TAROT BY PICTURES

.

Ace of Swords Foremost, absolute, total or totally, must, force or make or order, enforce, assert, achieve or win a victory or ‘aced,’ conquer or dominate, discipline or willpower, take matters into your own hands, and a weapon.  Ace of Swords owns that groove, and its very fitting illustration in Rider Waite Tarot is a hand grasping a sword which is crowned with a victory wreath.  Of course with total victory comes total defeat on the opposite side, and once in a while that is the meaning, but not often unless there is a theme that establishes that meaning. Ace of Swords is black-and-white, no gray zones.

Six of Cups has a few main meanings, more than most. Romance, children, childhood, being good, childlike, innocence, the past, nostalgia, sweetness and the good old days, history and olden times. Gives, a gift, receives, trust and fiduciary, beneficiary, benefit. Then it speaks at times of real estate too – an old house, a quaint house or cottage, an apartment building.

All these meanings arise from the little boy giving the little girl flowers in front of a quaint-looking large building, and the kids are dressed in clothes from the olden times.

Three of Pentacles Very pronounced main meanings for this Rider Waite Tarot citizen. Relationship, meeting, deal, agreement, mutual, contract, negotiate, each party doing his/her/its part, get together. Those are the main ones. Incidental ones include an inspection, (final) payment, real estate closing, get along with.

Pictured is an architect doing an inspection of his work with his clients who have the blueprint in their hands. The final draw, the largest payment which is the profit, is his when this inspection is approved.

High Priestess represents the feminine principle of receptivity and deep knowledge. A woman is seated between the pillars of justice and mercy, key thoughts to the Kabbalah, with the sliver moon beneath her feet. In real life, this Rider Waite Tarot card means lady, ladylike, quiet woman, keeping quiet, she knows, she knows and isn’t acting on it, she knows and isn’t divulging, the other woman, feminine, sedentary, passive, knowing the unknown or the secret, expert, the spiritual plane, spiritual, the mental plane or mental, book, bookkeeper, unassertive or passive, to know about.

He must be a decent man, he works for a living.

He is the world champion sweetheart, always doing something.

He works at being the best man he can possibly be.

Doing what he is doing, he will always be feeling absolutely mellow.

At your job, for sure, the man who is your guy will come.

You will be working with the most calm man that ever was.

I will still do this routine to make myself be patient.

Tarot Readings:  Working for a Living (Eight of Pentacles + Three of Wands)

If you are going to be working here, you have to be a quiet polite man.

You have to work to make money, be nice about it.

No matter what your weak point is, you work and you have an income.

(He is/I am) going to make myself be calm at work.

You have to keep working for the government.

I am going to keep being calm and polite if it kills me.

You will have to drink as long as you work here.

In this job, you will have to be mild-mannered.

He is a good man, he will get a job for sure.

I/He will have to work in spite of my weakness.

This gentleman will have to work.

Miscellaneous Tarot Readings

Government mandates how each thing is to be done.

Be patient, keep at it, and you will win.

Just persisting will make an ordinary person a winner.

Just keep patiently at the routine you are doing, and you will be a winner.

So emotional you are forced to take it one step at a time for a while.

I will have to keep doing the same thing over and over, and be quiet about it.

LEARN TAROT BY OBSERVING

Eight of Pentacles is about work.  Three of Wands is money coming in.  So the two of them translate ‘work for a living.’

Eight of Pentacles is to keep doing the same thing, and Three of Wands means ‘for some time in the future,’ so the two of them often translate ‘will be doing.’

Ace of Swords is a mandate, and is the winner or the victory.  It often translates ‘have to’ or ‘must.’  It is also the champion (the laurel leaves).  Imperative.

Then here is King of Cups back again.  He is the quiet patient man, the mellow man, the decent good man, the gentleman, and even the drinking man.

So our story today is about doing whatever you are doing, your routines, be okay with it, this is what makes you a winner, what makes you victorious.  Working for a living, even if you are plodding, makes you a champion of sorts.

King of Cups is here as the ordinary no-frills man, the quiet patient man, the mellow man, the decent good man, the gentleman, and even the drinking man.  He is emotional:  That is his main ingredient.  He is a sweet guy (your honey).  The water around where he is sitting represents his emotionality.

Eight of Pentacles is about work.  Eight of Pentacles is to keep doing the same thing, whatever you are doing, your routines, be okay with that.  You see the carpenter at the work bench hammering away at yet another identical item.

Three of Wands is money coming in.  Three of  Wands means ‘for some time in the future’  so it can put a nearby card into future tense. It is also about waiting for that money, or anything else, to come to you.  It also indicates a continuing process into the future:  now and for some time to come.  You see a well-dressed merchant eyeballing his ships coming in, waiting for them.

Ace of Swords is a mandate, what makes you a winner, and is the winner or the victory.  It often translates ‘have to’ or ‘must.’  It is also the champion (the laurel leaves).  Imperative.  The commander.  Something you gotta …. A sword is held aloft, and the crown atop it is garlanded with laurel, representing the champion, the winner.

I N S T R U C T I O N S & Explanations (Comments are below this.)

Did you come here just for your predictions?– If so, you are done when you finish reading the sentences of Group Analytical Tarot Cards Reading.

Each Tarot sentence is a literal-interpretation reading of the scenes pictured on thefour cards you see. Only what each of the cards says – phrase by phrase – no fillers – no psychic ability used. The readings are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. Tarot, all by itself, talks to you. This is a demonstration of that .

Tarot will address any group flexibly, as it does here of ‘all the visitors.’ (It can addressall the people at work who have a say in my raise,’for instance, without you knowing who or where those people are.)

Horoscopes are group readings too.

Astrology has to be based on someone else’s birth data, though, so it does not solidly apply to you just because of where the sun was when you were born. (Astrologers know this.)

Emily wants to know whether these sentences are more accurate for regular visitors than for people who have come only a few times. Would you help with a comment, if that is who you are? Please?

Without a questionto focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things, especially when the Spread has a card that means ‘no, never or not.’ That negative modifier can apply to any one of the cards.

Without a questionalso the pronouns (you, him, her, me, us, them, they, etc.) in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel veryfree to substitute. Notice how, as much as possible, we drop pronouns, which makes for some awkward phrasing.

The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information! In a ‘real’ reading, the parties are identified (including the gender of the questioner!), and so is the time frame if there is one. In this group reading, we cannot do that, so we have variety.

YESTERDAY’S MESSAGE DID NOT GET POSTED ON TIME AND IS MISSING ITS ILLUSTRATIONS, PLEASE READ IT! I worked on it for days! The story is there. Todays’ will miss its illustration until Billijo comes in, in the late afternoon.

===================================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.”

The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. Comment or call if you have a suggestion for a question.

(Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

Meanings and Illustrations: Observation of the Spread

Both Ace of Swords and Two of Wands mean ‘certain’ or ‘for sure.’ Ace of Swords is about ‘absolute’ or ‘absolutely.’ Two of Wands is more ‘for sure in the future,’ or something that is a certainty, and its real focus is ‘looking forward’ and security.

Two of Wands and Eight of Pentacles link work and money or financial security, as in ‘secure job.’

Hanged Man and Two of Wands are both about foreseeing. Hanged Man is a realization or vision, and Two of Wands is about a projection or plan.

These four cards are rich in phrases. It would be fun to list them, but would go on forever. You can sense how it would be from reading the sentences.

Meanings and Illustrations: Individual Rider Waite Tarot Cards

Hanged Man, a eureka realization, is about how upside-down things are when you first see them from a non-material standpoint, how upside-down you feel at the beginning of spiritual thinking. It is about consciousness, awareness, feeling and sensing, brainstorming, ‘getting it.’ The illustration has an upside-down man with a yellow halo of ‘brain-on-fire’ awareness.

Two of Wands shows a rich man who ‘owns the town’ standing with the world in his hand on top of his finished flat roof and planning what he is going to do for even more profit on his real estate empire below. This gives it a panorama of meanings.

Two of Wands is about the future, about security, profit, and financial security. It is about a plan or planning. It is about foreseeing.

Eight of Pentacles keeps at it, is working or is a worker, so employment subjects and efforts are featured. Repetitive actions, persistence, keeping at it. The carpenter is banging out one identical pentacle after the other. Ever heard a professional carpenter driving nails? You will never forget it, but will want to!

Ace of Swords is one way, no choice, must – it’s an order, a requirement, even a threat. Ach-tung. That hand has a sword and has already won the victory: See the crown atop the blade?
