Tarot Verbatim
GUIDANCE We look at the way things are done … and even the way we ourselves are doing them, and ask ourselves … why? Why do we always do it this way? And why do I keep taking initiative, here? Maybe because we weirdos just do weird things, we opine.

They are about today and the days around it. So, go ahead and pick the sentences you feel are yours and decide whether to encourage or reject them for yourself. All the words of each Tarot card reading you see here are a phrase-by-phrase translation of the scene pictured on those cards: no filler, no psychic impressions, no spirit guide. Asking myself whether to do this job.
What am I going to do about this job?
I keep making a fool of myself.
At this job, you do dumb things all the time.
Ask yourself why you keep doing the same things.
I ask myself questions over and over before I actually do the task.

Should you really keep taking the initiative here?
What he does at work makes no sense.
Questioning my habitual behavior.
This is a job for a man, but who?
I’m going to keep doing whatever it is I’m doing.
Asking myself whether I should start a new job.
Just maybe I can do the work.

Why does this goofball keep doing that?
I keep doing dumb things, don’t I?
Am I really the one to do this job?
This is a really dumb way to get this job done.
I don’t know why I do this, but I keep doing it.
You’re a weirdo when you do something weird over and over.

Eight of Pentacles – is what we do routinely, over and over, or habitually, and it’s our job or someone else’s. Eight of Pentacles is keeping at it too. Today the accent is on the ‘do’ because Magician is in our sentence.
Page of Cups – is the question mark of the deck. It puts your sentence into question form, and it is also anything that is strange or questionable. He is locally famous as the goofball. Page of Cups invites you to translate other cards’ material as: should I really; why does this goofball …; who?; whatever it is; just maybe; dumb things; I dunno; you’re a weirdo when you …. Something makes no sense, when Page of Cups shows up. This, yes, is one of the famous ‘duh’ cards in Tarot Verbatim™.
Magician – Male who does: That is the nut of Magician’s meanings. He also starts or initiates or takes initiative. He translates male pronouns (and only that in your spread) fairly often – and also ‘I’ and ‘myself.’ ‘Do it myself’ belongs to Magician. So put him with Eight of Pentacles and he is doing his job, or doing something all the time repeatedly. Put him with Page of Cups, and you ask yourself, or he asks himself, ‘Why am I doing this?’

This is a simple easy-to-read beginner’s spread. Eight of Pentacles has few and reliable meanings: job and work, do and make (same words for Magician, by the way), repeatedly or ‘do over and over.’ Eight of Pentacles is one of those ‘one after another’ theme cards too. Because he is hammering.
Page of Cups is the goofball, and is asking – including (under the influence of Magician as ‘myself’) ‘asking myself why I’ or any part of that quote. Asking myself whether, too. Magician echoes the ‘I’ and the ‘myself’: It would read that way without him. Page of Cups is accompanied by Eight of Pentacles too – who is also doing, and doing repeatedly – so we get all sorts of ‘Why am I doing this,’ and ‘Why do they want the job done this way,’ and doing weird things.

We sleepwalk through a day’s routine without a fresh thought about the entrenched and established norms. Something jars our consciousness, and we ask ourselves ‘What the heck am I doing?’ and ‘What was I thinking?’ Today we invite ourselves to go through the day with a fresh thinking cap on.

Four Card Spreads, Our Daily Spread
Advice speculates “Is there a different right way to be getting this done?” Changing the way I am doing these things may be the right way to go. We are invited to ask questions about how it’s always been done, to be open to a different and maybe better way, a way that seems strange or silly. People who always did the right thing can change, and so can the ‘suspicious characters.’ Run over there, apply for that job!
.
Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:
*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. One or more of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)
*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.
The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days if there is one.
Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!
DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS
Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.
(This spread, you can use ANY pronouns!)
Employment/Job Perspective
You deserve the job: Why not run over there?
How can (I) get out of doing the job right?
Aren’t you going to get going with how to do the job right?
You are entitled to change jobs – right?
Maybe you are entitled to your job back.
Goofy employee does it any way but right.
A different way to to the job, a way that seems strange, may be the right way to go.
It’s weird how he/she is changing his/her mind about this being the right job.
Getting out of that job in a hurry before the law comes around asking questions.
Getting out of that job in a hurry may be the right thing to do.
(He) works so fast, how could the job be done right?
Legal Perspective
With some doing, the lawyers can probably get you/him/her/them out of this.
Confused law enforcement (dumb cop?) keeps trying one thing and then the other, back and forth.
One inane/silly departure after another from what is legal.
Doing it Right
Changing the way I do these things may be the right way to go.
How fast can this be done right, consistently?
Someone who has always done the right thing may have changed!
A suspicious character has changed his ways and is now doing the right things.
Are (we) doing it correctly, or is there another way?
Are we doing the right thing, or should we get out of this routine?
Keep trying different ways and you may get it right, by golly.
If you do things right, you will be out of there fast.
Is there a different right way to be getting this done?
How do we keep getting back on the right track?
May be doing it the right way for a change.
What the heck am I doing right that has turned things around so fast?
Now, Part Two,
Do you want to know a little, or a lot, about how this Tarot Verbatim ™ thing works? If so,

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD
No theme here today! We start with the maybe, duh – Make a question. – of Page of Cups.
Then we go to Eight of Pentacles’ doing the same thing over and over as a routine, a job.
Then Justice is doing it right, as well as law enforcement or lawyers or legal anything.
Then Knight of Pentacles switching back and forth, changing, in a hurry, swooping in. It’s not running away today!
