Tarot Readings for You for March 30, 2013 Saturday(c)

There are all sorts of reasons to not get involved. I’m not motivated. You guys are crazy. I don’t do conflicts. I’m lazy. It’s too complicated. It’s boring. I retired. I’m asleep. You’re making a mess of things. Too many unrelated things jumbled together here to get into it. It’s work. Don’t keep struggling when it doesn’t really make sense to. Someone here works hard in a madhouse, and goes to bed.

Four of Swords

Seven of Cups – Eight of Pentacles – Five of Wands

3 Tarot Readings: Work (Eight of Pentacles)

I work hard in a madhouse, and go to bed.

He competes like crazy at work, and I just can’t be bothered.

Asleep on the job, does anything at all unrelated to it.

Doesn’t have the energy to work but is out doing everything else.

Have so many jobs that getting my rest is a huge effort.

In my time off from hard labor, I get soused.

I just don’t participate in the extracurricular activity at work.

Let them be involved in all that work.

Tarot Readings: Not Interested, Not Trying (Four of Swords and Five of Wands)

I sleep through all the crazy fights.
You guys are out of control; leave me out of what you are doing.

Not interested in sports; doing that makes no sense to me.

Professional sports is confusing, I don’t have any interest.

Don’t even try multitasking.

He isn’t motivated to do many things.

Retirement means doing meaningless activities.

I ain’t gonna be in one more senseless conflict.

I keep getting confused; got to quit doing that.

Don’t keep struggling when it doesn’t really make sense to.

Exercise is stupid, I just don’t do it.

Tries to make a mess of things but is too damn lazy to make a steady effort at it.

I am not one to keep trying when things fall apart.

Things are such a mess I’m not even trying to do anything about it.

Tarot Readings: Sleep and Sleeping Through (Four of Swords)

I sleep through all the crazy fights.

I keep having violent dreams when I sleep.

Let’s try to get regular sleep in spite of all the other things going on.

I try to sleep while he is doing all sorts of things.

I can get some rest after all this unbelievably hard labor.

Four of Swords … we have had him here just recently … isn’t getting involved, isn’t doing, isn’t participating – is sleeping, resting, retired, sidelined, in a coma, not interested … is being a couch potato or is on a vision quest.

Today, he isn’t involved in a conflict, a struggle, exercise or exertion … he isn’t trying, isn’t competing, and won’t get in a fight or conflict. Five of Wands is what tells us that: Five of Wands represents those activities and, as a matter of fact, translates ‘activity’ frequently.

Eight of Pentacles puts the theme – of not getting involved in the activity – into the context of work, what is being done, and repeated actions (multitasking, all the fights, etc.).

Seven of Cups is all sorts of unrelated things, is out of control, is bad dreams (or dreams), and is mindboggling or amazing. With Four of Swords, ‘I’m not getting involved in that crazy stuff.’

Five of Wands is trying hard, struggling, working up a sweat, competing or competition, fighting or conflict, sports, activity (especially aerobic activity), being against something. ‘Trying hard’ is a frequent translation, and when Eight of Pentacles joins Five of Wands, it’s hard work, or hard labor.

There are all sorts of reasons to not get involved. I’m not motivated. You guys are crazy. I don’t do conflicts. I’m lazy. It’s too complicated. It’s boring. I retired. I’m asleep. Seven of Cups The black figure is someone who let the cat out of the bag … let the mischievous spirits loose and does not know how to put them back in the box. This story can be Pandora’s Box or Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Seven of Cups is all sorts of unrelated things, is out of control, is bad dreams (or dreams), and is mindboggling or amazing.

Eight of Pentacles At his work bench, a carpenter makes one identical object after another, keeping at this task in a workmanlike way. Eight of Pentacles is work, what is being done, and repeated actions (multitasking, all the fights, etc.)

We see five fellows whacking boards one against the other. All its meanings are an attempt to explain this scene.

Four of Swords is ‘toes up.’ Four of Swords’ illustration shows a fellow (candidate for knighthood, doing the ritual of knighthood) meditating overnight on the sarcophagus of a culture hero or saint to get his vision of his reason for being a knight. So Four of Swords isn’t getting involved, isn’t doing, isn’t participating – is sleeping, resting, retired, sidelined, in a coma, not interested … is being a couch potato or is on a vision quest.

Our Daily Spread August 11, 2011 Thursday ©

Advice is about working and the pay. Mostly it is about making enough to pay the bills and about job satisfaction. That sometimes you would do this job without pay; that some people want the pay without doing the job. Also mentioned is only having to buy durable items once, and some observations about justice related matters.

===================================================================================

Is this the first time you come here? Well … what to do:

*Go to Daily Message Tarot Analysis below. At least one of those sentences has something to say to you. Pick those out. They are about you and the people around you. They are about today and the days around it. (It is a group message like a horoscope, except Tarot isn’t based on someone else’s birth data, so it can be specific, accurate, detailed and direct. Our experiment here is “How much more accurate is it?”)

*Go to Advice to apply what those sentences say (in the best way) for you. (Advice is everyone’s favorite part.) Did you come here for your predictions? – You are done now – See you tomorrow.

The Question for weekdays is: “Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them. The Question for weekends is stated right on top on those days. (Some days are ‘keep an eye open for’ and some days are ‘green light, go fast.’)

Without a question to focus the answer, four cards can mean contradictory things especially when the Spread has a card that negates other cards. Without a question also the pronouns in a group reading are more flexible, especially in some of these Rider Waite Tarot spreads. When a pronoun is in parentheses, feel very free to substitute. The question in a ‘real’ individual reading supplies at least half the information!

DAILY MESSAGE TAROT ANALYSIS Tell the visitors here something useful and meaningful to them.

The Pay for the Job

Without participating in a job, you pay your bills and have a good life.

You enjoy life on the money you get from what you are already into.

Getting enough work to pay the bills, and time off.

It’s when the bills aren’t being paid that you want a job.

You are not doing the kind of work that will pay you the most money.

This is a good-paying job and (I am/he or she is) staying here.

Works to pay the bills, there’s not much satisfaction in it.

Just enough money to pay the bills, pay the workers – nothing else.

This job does not pay well.

Spending the Money

Already paid for each and every thing I want.

When you pay for the best, you don’t have to do it again and again.

Job Satisfaction and Fulfillment

I would want to do this even if I were not paid for it.

Work you already are doing brings you a satisfactory life.

Your work brings you satisfaction even without the money.

Getting enough sleep and rest on a regular basis is what will fulfill you.

People who have job satisfaction rest easy because they are doing the right thing.

Legal Perspective

The court proceeding is about not doing the work satisfactorily.

When justice isn’t done, you want to do it yourself.

The justice you want is happening without your doing anything to deliver it.

So happy he/she will not be prosecuted for what he/she did.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: OBSERVATION OF THE SPREAD

Six of Pentacles is getting paid and Eight of Pentacles is working. Four of Swords is not doing anything, and Nine of Cups is the good, satisfying circumstance. So we have a pretty clear story all laid out for us.

MEANINGS AND ILLUSTRATIONS: INDIVIDUAL RIDER WAITE TAROT CARDS

Six of Pentacles is getting paid, or spending money – a financial exchange. The illustration shows employees receiving pay, the coins being weighed out for fairness.

Nine of Cups is having plenty, the good life, satisfaction. The picture shows a fat fella with that ‘I ate the whole thing’ look of surfeit on his big face.

Four of Swords is not doing anything, not responding, just lying around. The picture shows a fellow lying on a coffin in a cathedral, as part of the ceremony for knighthood.

Eight of Pentacles is work. The carpenter is making one after another objects at his work bench. It’s about The Job today.
